⇢ ASPIRATIONS: Teiluj wants to become a powerful healer the kind that wouldn't turn anyone away no matter who they are or what they've done. Everyone deserves compassion.
⇢ PERSONALITY: Teiluj has a bad habit of putting the needs of anyone else before her own. No matter how great her own injuries she will try to help others before turning her attention to herself. She sees herself as differently as others see her and has grown to be sensitive to the subject of her mixed heritage.
She is often thinking of the feelings of people around her and how they would react, when she sees someone suffering she tries to relieve them of their pain even if they don't accept her. Bringing gifts of cooked or dried meat and flowers are her signature when tending to the sick, as there is very little she can do being so young. She feels sorry for the ones in pain and screams of anguish are often very upsetting to her. So she will struggle to help alleviate any pain she perceives.
She is very strong willed and wants to do things HER way once she understands what the end result is supposed to be. Even if that means she has to take the longer route. The harder path, or stumble over it for days at a time. She refuses help from anyone other than Maya and insists that she does things herself. She is very independent and quite hard headed. Leading to a very competitive girl she wants to be the best at everything and when she isn't can send her into fits of melancholy or depression for sometimes weeks on end before she pulls herself together and works at making herself better.
⇢ HISTORY: Ovonel, having witnessed her mother's death in a hunting accident when she was old enough to join her on the trip was stricken with grief over her death. Being closer to her mother than her sisters were Ovonel's grief was missunderstood. Grieving themselves they cast out Ovonel blaming her for the death of her mother, because her father had already died when trying to live with the same tribe. Ovonel didn't know exactly which earthling tribe her father originated from. Fearing they would shun her for the same reasons she was driven from her sisters, Ovonel moved North-east through the desert and towards the mountians. She was still much to young to fend for herself Alone instead of in a group. She was hungry, dehydrated, and worst of all cold when she reached the mountains.
Ibiche had been wandering the mountians on patrol her parents living on the edge of the tribe where they felt most comfortable, and where some of the pure ice tribe members who weren't comfortable with the mix were able to live as far as they could comfortably. They were able to accept if reluctantly the love the two had and openly gave them equal rights in the tribe. Several miles from home Ibiche stumbled upon Ovonel who had collapsed into the cold atmosphere. Gathering her up Ibiche took her back home. Her parents already open to the life of loving outside of their own tribe, were quick to notice the strange alien form of the other halfbreed.
Thinking it was best for them to be able to grow up with another halfbreed as a best friend they accepted her and Ovonel quickly assimilated into the ice tribe. Allowing them to open up quickly to halfbreeds being no different than they were. Just physically with diffrent characteristics. Eventually the two fell in love as was normal within the icetribe to find a mate within itself. So they eventually moved and created their own house on the edge not far from Ibiche's. They lived a peaceful life though as a few years passed and their friends started having families of their won Ibiche and Ovonel started yearning for children of their own. Eventually Ovonel told Ibiche how it was possible for them to have children if her diety Aisha allowed them to have one durring the yearly gathering. Inspired by the prospect of getting their own child set out to reach aisha
Their pleading consisted of showing how well protected the child would be when they got home, though they failed to take into account the possibility of the Alkidike sisters attacking them for comming close to Aisha. After all Onovel's mother and father had been able to plead for her. She had also seen the distance usually given to the earthlings and halfbreeds and expected the same then when she approached The great Tree.
After they were discovered by the other tribes they made a commitment to each other to approach Aisha and plead to have a child of their own. Since one could not bear children herself being prominently Alkidike physically with few shifter qualities she figured she would have to approach Aisha. With her love this time instead of returning alone as she did every year prior. The journey was hard even if they had been among the first to arrive. The Alkidike half breed had been constantly threatened with each return growing worse.
Though they were able to make their plea it seemed a group of the Alkidike sisters were threatened by their approach of aisha. Deaming them poison to their kind, something that would ultimately destroy the Alkidikes and their purity. It had not been long after their plead to Aisha had been heard that they were soon found by the threatening sisters and chased away from Chibar. No matter now many times either woman tried to return for their child, they were denied and attacked. Desperate they made one final attempt that ended in the slaughter of their lives.
Aisha picked Maya after seeing how much the Alkidike had changed since she started living in Jahaur. Like her sisters Maya opposed the earthlings with a great deal of distaste. However meeting several different tribes of earthlings and learning that even they can be productive and respectful. She has made friends and even formed crushes on at least one earthling. After her test to become a blade and saving an earthling child. Maya proved her worth in protecting with her very life another even if it wasn't her own blood link.
Teiluj was raised in what was first called home tree. She was raised beside four other Alkidike sisters but at a young age there is little she remembers about them. She remembers the oldest of the Alkidike distaste for her, she remembers another who blamed the trouble the family had on her. Another who stood off which she did like to be around. And another who wanted nothing to do with her.
Teiluj was still very young when her mother Maya burned down home tree. In a desperate attempt in what Teiluj was told was a way to protect her. For the years following Teiluj and her mother wandered Jahaur in search of a new home. All the while, Teiluj was expected to stay beside her mother. To learn everything that could be taught about the world around her. It wasn't until her older youngling years did Teiluj learn she was different from others. Until then the words hybrid, mixed blood, stain, ect. Had never really meant anything to her. It struck her deeply knowing that she was different. That she would never fully belong to any one race.
As a kind of apology for removing her from home tree, Maya had given her an egg. One that Teiluj would have to work hard to keep alive hatch and even raise and train. It was a celebratory day for Teiluj when the egg hatched to produce a Kinfa. A bird that had not been seen by Teiluj in Jauhar before.
Her mother tried to shield her from the world of the Alkidike as much as she could. Even going to the extent of keeping her out of the Oban War. Teiluj had only heard in rumor and passing about the strange oban shadows that killed. And with the war over, Maya finally gave her the freedom to move about.
As a Prentice Teiluj has begun to explore the world with her Kinfa companion. And has made a few friends. Over time through war's that had been waged, Teiluj lost friends and loved ones. She now wanders the world alone hoping to find a place for herself somewhere in the vast empty place.
Eventually Teiluj had found herself in Oba where she met another hybrid, Lynxdaroch. After some time, the two had formed a strong bond and started raising a family of their own.

Starline is a female Kinfa that was gifted to Teiluj by her mother Maya. The egg had been found on a robber along with several other materials. Teiluj was tasked with maintaining and hatching the egg and raising whatever came out. When the Kinfa emerged both Teiluj and her mother were stunned. Though eager to prove she could help something stay alive Teiluj raised Starline on her own. Meeting a young shifter, Teiluj learned there was more to the slowly growing Kinfa and that it's size would one day be big enough to carry her.
Wanting to know more Teiuj eventually set out on a journey to Tale where she met up with a beast tamer. The girl was happy to teach Teiluj all she knew about the kinfa and in return gifted her with an egg from the clutch. The egg however was lost back in Ast.

Tao was born of Pacju to a litter of eight. Of the two girls and six boys, Tao showed the most potential for leadership intelligence and speed. Because of his larger size and alpha like tendency over his siblings Maya had insisted that Teiluj bond with him. Which she did if only reluctantly at first. They have had many journeys and experiences along the way. Tao as a full grown Radaku surpasses his mother in speed and agility but not in strength.
Two of his siblings have bonded to other's as gifts from Teiluj. He has shown to have little interest in other Radaku who are bonded.

A female Nondwa that Teiluj befriended with the help of Aysun. She knows very little about this creature other than it's strange useful qualities. Bright glowing wings aid in the darker places when she travels. After much research Teiluj was able to discover the Nondwa to be a female. Vowing never to get another pet again. Cherin is attracted to sweet things, especially fermented fruit.

Maya ◢ Teiluj's adopted mother, a pure blooded Alkidike who was chosen to raise Teiluj. After her mothers had been slaughtered by the extremists. Maya kept an overly protective watch over Teiluj for most of her youngling and Prentice life, until one day deciding she left Teiluj to fend for herself. Having figured the young girl had given up on the ways of the sisterhood. Maya was disappointed to see her daughter take on the more magical side of the earthlings instead of the powerful sisterhood she was training her in. Leaving to venture into Tendaji and explore everything available to see. She would often check back in on Teiluj from time to time, and ask other shifter tribesman to keep tabs on the hybrid while she was out traveling. Having lost word of her daughter for some time Maya eventually returned home to find her daughter's note informing her she had moved to Oba with another Hybrid. Interested the woman traveled to Oba where she was able to be present for the birth of her daughters twins. Vaehaerys and Zylbina. Her relationship with Teiluj is currently tenuous, as Maya feels she has failed Teiluj in some way. Though Teiluj has forgiven her mother for the way she was brought up, knowing that Maya only did the best that she could with the knowledge she had at the time.
Elder Kishku ◢ A very old and energetic Alkidike who traveled with Maya and her Prentice sisters to care for them and teach them when they left their mother Aisha to inhabit a home between the great tree and the shifter settelments. She was a source of guidance and comfort to the prentices. Never leaving her home after the hardship that was endured in trying to find it. Teiluj was raised to consider Kishku as her grandmother, though the woman didn't take well to Teiluj. Being nearly blind she had heard of the girls physical feathers through the other members of the house. So Teiluj had only known the coldness of the old woman. Eventually during a fight for their survival, Kishku was burned alive within home tree. Where Teiluj remembers very little of the old woman. More memories of her fade with each passing year.
Pictured Neibet - Owned by Lirende -- Currently retired character Niebet ◢ grew up on Chibale isle alongside some of her more precious sisters not the least of which was Maya. Having been older than the other sisters Neibet had ranked up quickly giving Maya something to strive for and a goal to run towards. This was how Neibet first fell in love with the younger Alkidike, though she refused to admit it such. As time passed and the girls had all aged out of younglinghood, Neibet had joined a growing group of sisters which included Maya, and set out to make a home for themselves in Jauhar.
Their first home had started out peacefully but arguments broke out and tensions rose. In order to keep Maya by her side she had whispered into her sister's ear that setting fire to the home and taking the small band with them would be a good idea. When Maya had succeeded in bringing down their first home she was one of the first to volunteer to travel with Maya in search of a new home.
Again life had been rather peaceful there with her sisters. She had the ability to grow closer to Maya until the younger Alkidike had shown feelings for an earthling. Enraged by Maya's choice Neibet had grown increasingly colder to her fellow sisters and her anger refused to subside. The tipping point for her had been when Maya had returned from Aisha with a youngling in her hands, Teiluj. Confessing her feelings to Maya about how much she loved her, it had crushed her when Maya didn't want to return those feelings. Teiluj was the brunt of many harsh beatings from Neibet who later became an Extremist
Lynxdaroch ◢ Teiluj had run into him while journeying through Oba in search of N'Kole. The man had been kind and caring towards her in ways she hasn't imagined. Over time the two had built a strong connection that continued to build through their experiences and travels. Eventually ending up with Teiluj giving birth to two wonderful children Vaehaerys and Zybilna. She has chosen to remain with Lynx as her life partner and raise her children alongside him.
Vaehaerys ◢ The firstborn son between Lynxdaroch and Teiluj, and oldest of her children. The young boy is too young to show any true personality at this time. However shows a keen desire to remain attached to his mother. Refusing the interactions of strangers.
Zybilna ◢ The second child between Lynxdaroch and Teiluj and Vaehaerys younger twin sister. She is too young to show much of a personality, however she is showing signs of being a social butterfly.

Long, pointed ears, black, bug-like eyes, and antennae characterize this completely female species. Standing, on average, between five and six feet, they loom above most Earthlings.
This unique band of sisters originates from Chibale Island. At the center of the island is Aisha, the shimmering, brilliantly blue tree from whose rich, pink, lotus-like flowers every Alkidike is born. A strong-willed tribe of warriors and mystics, they consider themselves to be the oldest species and, thus, have deemed it their duty to explore the entirety of Tendaji.
Although they return to Chibale to breed and perform spiritual rites, the Alkidikes have settled in Jauhar, the rainforest on the mainland. They primarily dwell within the smooth, violet trunks of the tallest, straightest, most awe-inspiring emergent trees in the region. Entrances to their vertical homes are often hidden underground amongst the trees’ deep, intricate networks of roots. The Alkidikes can travel easily through their trees, allowing them to access the upper canopy, where food is particularly abundant.
These women feel entitled to the land and do not appreciate having to share their home with the Shifters. A tension has been created through this dissension that has turned Jauhar into a bloody battle field on more than one occasion.

The Shifters comprise a small, rudimentary tribe dwelling in the heart of Tendaji’s rainforest. Like other Earthlings, they stand much shorter than the Alkidike. They possess short, pointed ears and their slim bodies are speckled with blue crystals. The length and style of their hair is dependent primarily upon their trade and rank within the tribe.
This race’s most distinguishing trait lies within their skin and eyes. Both features change from light to dark with the rising of the sun, and back to light in the evening, to match the silvery shades of the moon.
The Shifter Tribe shares Jauhar, their rainforest home, with the Alkidikes. Because of the war-like nature of their opposing female rivals, however, they tend to do what they can to stay out of the way and to remain unseen. They live predominantly in the upper canopy where food can be found in greater abundance, creating strange nests and hammock-like homes from the thousands of thick, dark green vines that twist between the trees. This diverse tribe prefers an elevated position where they can still observe the movements of the sun and moon.

The people of the Wind Tribe most clearly resemble the humans of the 21st century. Of course, the inhabitants of Tendaji are unaware of this fact. They are a nomadic people and can often be seen laden with bags and satchels of various shapes and sizes. Sauti is a perilous land, incapable of supporting life in one single area for an extended period of time, so the wandering members of the Wind Tribe carry everything they need with them at all times.
There are a few, sparse places throughout Sauti that can sustain life. In these areas, members of the Wind Tribe also live, maxing out the sustainability of the spot and making it impossible for newcomers to move in.
These Earthlings possesses fair skin. Their hair and eyes are both often light in color. To the other tribes, whose coloration is so unique and bold, they may appear somewhat lacking in color, even washed out. Their ears are short and rounded, making them not quite as adept at picking up sounds as the other tribes, but that skill is less necessary in Sauti, where the mountains provide an astounding echo. Like the other Earthlings, the Wind Tribe sports crystal formations on their bodies. Although their society does not possess a true aristocracy, the people of the Ice Tribe certainly give off a regal vibe. They live in the mountainous area of Zena, towards the boundary of Sauti, where it is cold and often snowy. Therefore, their clothing is often lined in fur, protecting them, to an extent, from the harsher elements.
These Earthlings have light blue skin. Their hair is usually a darker shade of blue, but can sometimes be mistaken as having a slight tinge or purple, or be dark enough to be considered black. Their eyes range from yellow to amber to gold, but all seem to possess a radiant, almost glowing quality. Like all Earthlings, the Ice Tribe sports crystals. Theirs, however, seem to have an almost rockier quality. They are a dark, bluish purple and can usually be found in bulk around these peoples’ necks, front torso, and inner thighs.
Many (although not all) of the Ice Tribe members consider themselves superior to other Earthlings, especially the nomadic Wind Tribe. Due to the structure of their government, some Ice Tribe members feel that they rule over the Wind Tribe, although their relationship has never degenerated to the level of slavery.
