"I'm sure you're mother would be absolutely thrilled!" Teiluj laughed nodding when Aysun mentioned using magic as a last resort. Just what did they use as a first resort? Their hands? That gave Teiluj a small idea, and perhaps one they could build a little on if it had any chance of success to begin with. Her eyes scanned one tree after another as she searched for one she knew would be climbable. Glancing back to Aysun she shook her head. "It's hard to compare them with the beauty of each other. They all look so brilliant and they shine so bright. Maybe the brightest one? Unless that means it's old... then I don't know..."
Teiluj trailed off as she started towards the tree gripping it tightly as she tried to scale the difficult bark before stopping and lowering herself back to the ground. "hmm I was thinking what if I scaled the tree... and jumped off. While trying to catch one on my way down?" She shook her head slowly, her feet landing safely back on the ground. "But then I thought, maybe I would hurt it again doing that. So I came back down. There has to be something we can do, I doubt running off to find a massive nectar pot is really going to do the trick. "
Rubbing her right arm thoughtfully Teiluj returned to Aysuns side and scanned the area. "Do you think we can use the vines to lasso them in?"

"Oh yes, I can see her looking quite delighted over me coming home with a mass of nondwa." He murmured in a thoughtful manner before he started to laugh over the mere thought of how his mother might react. He knew it was bad of him to find such a thing amusing but he couldn't help it, it was a funny idea to him. He was glad that he didn't actually mean to bring them all back with him thought or else his mother was bound to have a fit... and Chandra would likely be right there alongside her.
Watching the manner in which the nondwa were fluttering about the flower filled fields, giving a thoughtful sound, "I think the ones with the duller coloring are the older ones, ones that have faded with age, their wings sometimes looking a little more ragged around the edges. Those with pristine wings that are brightly colored are younger... or maybe just super good at dodging danger." He gave a smile, "Either way a more brightly colored one might be the best thing for us to focus on. I see a couple pretty good candidates. That one there... and that one over there." He pointed at a pair of them one on the edge of the group, the other toward the middle.
"Hm? Vines...? Maybe, if we could maybe weave them together into a net or something? It might allow us to herd one of them to where you can visit with it and it won't be at risk." He said after a moment of contemplation.

Teiluj knew from previous conversations with Aysun that his mother wasn't as thrilled about his familiar collecting hobby as he was. On the bright side, at least he could joke about it. Somehow she wished she too could joke about things like that but Teiluj herself wasn't one for collecting pets. Two had been her max and now she was pushing her own restricted boundaries for the sake of a nondwa. Her attention turned back to Aysun when he started pointing to a pair of Nondwa. Wanting to get a better look at what he was seeing she bounced over to Aysun. Standing behind him so she could get a better look at what he was seeing. Raising onto her toes Teiluj's chin brushed against her shoulder as she followed his fingers.
Her eyes glanced back and forth between them. Both of them shone brightly against the others, and there was a slight difference that held them apart as well. One of the nondwa had jagged edges along it's wings, but didn't look like the edges were tears but a natural formation. The other nondwa had bright dangling tails on the lower wing section. "You have a really good eye Aysun." Teiluj spoke quietly, not wanting to yell into her friends ear and cause him pain after he had been so helpful. "Do you think we could go for that one over there?"
Taking a step back she searched the ground for a long twig. "What if we put the net on the end of a stick so we can reach up and scoop it out of the air? That would protect it from getting hurt right?"

Aysun gave a bit of a laugh, "Naw, I just hang out around animals a lot, watch them a lot, I start to pick up on those sorts of things is all." He explained to him before he looked in the direction that Teiluj was pointing. He took in the one that Teiluj had the interest in before he gave a smile and a nod, "I think we should be able to get you that one so long as we focus on it closely and we don't move too fast. The last thing that we want is to like a predator. So long as we go about this slow and easy we should be able to catch up with your nondwa." He felt that calling it Teiluj's familiar that it would make it that much easier to keep at this until they caught it.
"Hm? Scoop it out of the air? Possibly, so long as we are careful and don't move to fast we might be able to do that, to sort of herd it down toward us. Once it's within your reach you will have your chance to interact with it, to talk to it, and hopefully make friends with it." That was what he hoped at least, wanting to see the nondwa that Teiluj liked so much to end up as her friend and familiar.
