(( Dear lord thats a lot! We only need 7 posts! ))
Lynx 1
After Tei had given birth to a set of twins - a welcome surprise to both parents - it was decided that they would make the trip to Matori to see the bulk of his family. Letters had been sent out to let everyone know of their intention so that any who wanted to be there could be.
The trip had consisted of Banshee carrying the bulk of supplies they needed, Lynx sometimes carrying Teiluj as he fretted over her and didn't want her to become exhausted along the way, and Tao having side packs suited for the babies while they slept. Of course another member of the family traveled with them. Maya.
Lynx hadn't been too thrilled with the idea but trying to stop the alk from tagging along would be a waste of energy. Not to mention he figured she might as well meet his parents now rather than later. He did of course warn Tei that it would prove amusing should Maya pull anything remotely insulting in his mother's home.
Now they were walking up the path that led to the door of his childhood home. and he could see his mother standing there.

Thea 1
When she'd gotten the letter that her baby was coming to visit with his lovely mate and their babies she practically bubbled with excitement. Of course she'd cleaned the house from top to bottom. Even the roof in case they got a late night visitor while they were in. Thea may have sent word to Ade that Lynx was now a father.
Now she stood in the doorway - having clocked the time it took for such a trip and adding in breaks for traveling with little ones. She was an hour or so off but it didn't take too long before she saw one of her elder twins walking up with his new family in tow. As well as an.. Alk? Theanduri remembered that Teiluj had antennae and figured it was the girl's mother so she wasn't on the defensive just yet. She was all smiles still.
"Welcome home!" She called out to Lynx and waved at Teiluj. She was always welcome and could consider this her second home now.

He'd gotten a letter from his big brother stating that a home visit would be made and that he was bring along his mate and children. Since Zohra hadn't even been aware that Lynx was dating it was a huge surprise to him. Not to mention he wanted to know what his new niece and nephew looked like. Seeing as him and all his siblings took after their mother for the most part.
He took his cue from his mother and when she stood in the doorway he lingers closely behind her - waiting. Of course he looked over at his dad to see how he was doing or if he was just as anxious as he was.

She too had gotten a letter. Not to mention the excitement from her mother about the visit. Ryshanion was not as thrilled as the rest of the family was. Mainly because she still didnt like Teiluj. She felt the woman wasn't good enough for her elder brother and to know that she had somehow trapped him by having his kids only made it worse. She stood back by the wall with her hands over her chest as she watched everyone else by the door.
Ry was excited to see her brother and his children but not the mother of those kids.

Teiluj 1
Teiluj had been the first to insist that she and Lynx travel back to his home in Matori in order to pay his family a visit. It was important to her that their treasured children be introduced to his family, early and often. Especially with how intrusive her own mother was, someone needed to help counter those experiences. She had double and triple checked that Tao's side packs were properly secured and sturdy enough.
As their mother she had specifically chosen Tao to carry their infants. As he was the quickest and most agile creature in their company. She had reasoned that he was the most likely to keep their children safe should anything befall them while traveling. Knowing full well that she and Lynx would have to be the ones to stand ground and fight.
Banshee was filled with traveling materials, the tiny Loatoa kit rode snuggling inside the carry pouch Zybilna was resting in. Starline soared ahead having learned to scout ahead and guide the traveling course in the safest path possible. She too carried other potentially needed supplies for the traveling family, as well as gifts for those they were planning on meeting while they were there.
Teiluj hummed as she walked beside her children, as much as she was able. It was taking time for her to recover and she did have to rely on Lynx every once in a while to prevent them from moving too slowly. Her mother had been grating irritatingly on her nerves most of the way. And the hybrid had anticipated the need for more 'special tonic' to keep her mother a little more amiable.
Their journey had felt painfully slow, considering Teiluj had to stop frequently for feedings. So when they started up the path leading to Lynx's birthplace Teiluj smiled with a small wave back of her own. She recognized his mother Thea and hesitated to approach her, eventually swallowing down her fear to embrace Thea warmly. "It's so good to see you again. Is there somewhere we could unpack our babies for you to see?" Teiluj jumped back a bit when her pale green-yellow eyes settled on Zohra. She had been informed Lynx had a large family, but somehow she hadn't quite anticipated them all to be watching her from the door way.
Felling anxious, Teiluj frowned. She could feel Ry's eyes boring holes in her. Feeling the need to escape Teiluj quickly stepped back towards Tao where her two children were sleeping. A sudden urge to bristle against the girl and protect her children rushed through her. All she wanted was a place to rest a moment and feed her children properly before introducing them to everyone. The soft hungry whimpering from one of the pouches signaled Teiluj was right.

Maya 1 TWINS, That's right. She had been gifted with twins. While they only had prepared for one, Maya had offered up taking the other one in exchange. That wasn't welcomed from either party. So Maya had fumed for days while messages were sent out of the house. Her janarim was already packed by the time Teiluj had started strapping up Tao. Making her insistence on joining them where they went even easier for her. She was already packed to go. The beginning of the trip started out with Maya insisting that she carry both children in her arms while they traveled. That way they would be close to someone instead of snuggled up inside those carrying bags that Teiluj had insisted on. Though neither their mother or their father had shown any positive emotions towards the idea. So she had sulked most of the way. As the travel had progressed, Maya commented on every angle she could. Like a back seat driver, she felt she was in the best position possible to lead the family through to Matori. Not that she had ever been to Matori mind you, but she was the most experienced with travel. Lynx and Teiluj were just children really, and didn't have the experience that she did. She made point of making that clear to them. After a while that too had become a source of contention, so she had resorted to unsolicited advice on how to properly care for each child. Broadcasting it loudly at every feeding. Near the end of the trip, Maya had been told to close her mouth and stop it from moving or they would leave her at the next town and refuse to let her travel the rest of the way with them. Seeing the pair reach a house with a female oban in the doorway, Maya finally perked up. Dropping from where she rode upon her Janarim she aimed directly for the pouches strapped to Tao. She would help get one of the babies out for everyone to see. She was their grandmother after all. It was her right.

He was lurking in the living area but not at all paying attention to the book that had laid open in his lap for the duration. He watched Thea watch the road and his own ears perked at the sound of people outside. He had eagerly read the letter that Thea had shared with him and he was really quite excited. All his son would see was his father's eyes and antennae poking up from his favorite chair. When Thea's body language confirmed it wasn't just the mailman, he stood and approached the door. He felt like a very old child, it was so exciting. They had grandchillens! And TWINS! He adored twins, it was very lucky to have two babies.
He came to a halt by Thea, unable to wipe the grin off of his face. He would get to hold little babies again! It had been a while since Ryshan and Rathian had been born and they were quite harder to cradle now. A Dad never lost the urge to hold his children in his arms but they were awfully heavy now.
"Finally." He whispered to Thea, the most beautiful woman in the world.

Iexa 1
Iexa had been out in the yard doing the evening chores when he saw the party approach. He sped inside to get the two baby blankies he had had specially made for his niece and nephew. He adored Tei and the way his brother looked at her. She was a very special lady, just like his beauty Sarnai. A perfect match for the stoic twin, where Sar managed to keep his own goofy but in line....mostly. He blamed Dad for the difference in their personality.
He came around the side of the house, refusing to wait inside like the rest of the hoard.
"Welcome!" He said after his mother. "Safe travels I hope?" His eyes scanned eagerly around, resting on the Alk lady b-lining for the transport saddlebags that looks suspiciously large enough to hold babies.
He grinned at Tei. "Congratulations!" Then he smacked his brother on the shoulder and hugged him. "And to you, you ol' rascal." He gave Tei a smooch on the forhead. "I hear you did fantastic during labour, my new hero. Here." He passed her the two baby blankets wrapped in brown paper. "For the little ones."

She was excited to meet her brother's mate and children. She wasn't sure she liked the posessive look of the alk lady though. Of course she was slightly disturbed herself having left Aire alone to his own devices once again. She did not relish being separated from the forgetful alchemyst for long. He needed tending and someone to make his darn notes readable. Plus the man forgot to eat when he was on a roll.
She eyed them all, noticing Iexa's warm welcome. Well obviously he liked the mate. That was what counted to Zasha. If Tei was bad news than Iexa would be bristling, but her elder brother showed delight instead. Good enough. Zasha tugged Rathian away from his book. "They are here, join us in this realm."

He was just getting to the good part in the book, but now he was drawn out. At least it was for something interesting. He looked over at his sis and got up. For once not making a fuss about being pushed around. He had gotten the classic darochduri temperament.
He went around and waited by big brother Zohra. He hoped that the new lady in Iexa's life was prepared for this many new siblings. At least Sio was quiet. But she was about it in the family though her bro wasn't too bad in comparison to the rest of them.
"Hello." He greeted politely. They seemed like an interesting lot and he was excited to see his brother's kids. He too hadn't even known that Lynx was dating never mind a new Dad of all things.

He waved at his mother as he saw her standing in wait. Of course Lynx also took note of his twin, no longer identical to himself after recent events, As Teiluj hugged his mother he glanced over at Maya as he saw the alkidike move toward Tao. He gave the woman a look that basically told her not to do it. When it came to the children Teiluj was the supreme authority and he would back her. The pat to his shoulder and the congrats pulled him from a would be stare down so that he could grin at his sibling.
"We need a place for Teiluj and the babies to relax. It's been a long trip." Considering he made the trek from Oba to Matori all the time and never complained about the distance it certainly meant something.
Before he could get much more out he noticed that Tei had retreated a bit over to where the kids were. The move puzzled him but when he turned his head to see what would cause it he caught a glimpse of his baby sister glaring at his mate. Narrowing his eyes at her he shifted so that he put himself physically in front of Teiluj. Once he was sure Ry got the hint he turned to look at Teiluj. "Why don't you get the babies before your mother does." Lynx offered gently. He could only imagine Maya parading one of the twin around would make Tei's anxiety spike.

She welcomed the hug from Teiluj and gave the girl's back a soft rub before they separated. Thea was thrilled to say the least. "Had I known you would give me my first grandbabies I would have gotten you a blanket as a gift when we first met." The woman chuckled a little. Perhaps if Teiluj had had a blanket she'd have wanted to share it with Lynx and then she could have had grandbabies sooner. She looked toward Iexa then and smirked. "Maybe I should get your lovely lady a blanket." Of course she also looked at Zasha. "I don't think a blanket will help you.. maybe just don't let yours get blown up." How her daughter managed with Aire was beyond her. The poor boy could blow up anything without meaning to, or so she heard.
As Lynx moved and displayed protective behavior she blinked, somewhat confused, then looked at Rydan. She gave her own husband a bit of a worried look before she leaned to look into the house and see where it was her eldest was looking.
"Oh dear.." She had already heard what her youngest daughter had thought about Lynx's mate. Thea's green eyes looked over at Rathian for a second, imploring him to get his sister.

He half chuckled at his dad poking his eyes and antennae up. Of course he'd be excited but trying to hide it. The man loved kids. He was fairly certain that if their mother hadn't told him no then they would have a lot more siblings.
Zohra hung back, letting the others get all the chaos started. He was sure they would have plenty of time to spend with the new additions to the family and he didn't want to overwhelm them. Not to mention his brother's woman was acting a bit strange for a second. He tilted his head as he watched her, though the alk woman in the back did catch his attention. Who was she and what was she up to?

Ry 2She stayed where she was, still not exactly thrilled with things. However, she noticed her other siblings seemingly not upset over what was going on. Then there was how Lynx put himself in the way of her glare and she had to look away. Ry wasn't so sure what to do in this situation. It wasn't like she wanted to go welcome Teiluj with open arms but she'd accept Lynx's kids. For now she settled on crossing her arms over her chest and pouting.

Taking in note of her mothers approach Teiluj's body language shifted nervously. As if sensing Teiluj's distress, Tao causally shifted closer to Lynx his head lowering and his tail raising. His eyes searching the surroundings for the safest route out.
The hybrid girl took visual note of the man joining Lynx's mother in the doorway, adding the assumption that must be her partners father. He was a stark contrast to his mother, in so many ways. Stepping closer towards Tao, she was then finding her attention pulled towards Iexa. A large beam on her face. The once twin had undergone the same effects she had, and the effects had done some interesting things to him. The darker skin and unique crystal colors were impressive in their own right, though she much preferred Lynx.
"Well we did arrive in one piece, physically. I can't say it wasn't a very hard journey this time. I wonder if maybe we should have waited till these bundles were a bit older to make the trip." Teiluj responded playfully to Iexa, responding warmly to the contact on her forehead. "You must have been informed by Lynx of the situation. I hear you're next on the baby making scene."
Juggling the presented gifts, Teiluj peeled back the bown paper from the first blanket. Marveling at the beautiful design crafted onto the fabric. These would be perfect gifts to change the two newborns into after she had gotten the chance to feed them and clean them up. "These are stunning Iexa, did Sarni make them by chance?"
Tao continued to shift in various directions. Keeping a certain distance between himself and the Alkidike woman pursuing him. Taking note of her mates suggestions, the monk nodded her head. Giving a whistle out towards Tao who returned to her side swiftly. Lynx had been working with the radaku, and in exchange she had learned a thing or two to give out commands. The work Lynx had done with her familiars was astounding, and had done alot of good for them all.
Passing one blanket to Lynx, Teiluj proceeded to pluck the first child from the saddlebags. "Here you should take Zybilna. I'll get Vaehaerys. He seems to fuss less when I hold him. I'm sure having two infants screaming wont do well for company that is so graciously hosting us."
Shooting her mother a warning glance, Teiluj carefully transferred her daughter to Lynx. Moving quickly to scoop up her son. Cradling him close to her body. Turning her attention back to Thea now that her two precious bundles were held within their parents embrace she smiled. "Oh, I think a blanket would be too hot in Oba." She blushed at the memory of their first meeting and the close intimacy of such an event. Blushing furiously at the reminder.
