Teiluj sat comfortably on the edge of what felt like a rather large soft bed. Lynx's personal scent no longer clung to everything in the air around her. The scent of her flowers and herbs, had taken over only days after she had arrived. All except for a spare pillow. Part of her wanted to get comfortable with this arrangement, to allow herself to settle. Another part knew deep down, she was only Lynx's current guest and there was potential that she would eventually need to move on from here. Pulling her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them, Teiluj placed her chin on her knees. Her golden eyes focused on Tao who slept peacefully under the window to the bedroom.

Tao had eased towards Lynx in the weeks since coming here. No longer feeling the protective need to insert himself between the two. Something Teiluj was quite relieved about. She had also met an adorable Loatoa since she had arrived, instantly falling in love with the creature. The hybrids golden eyes slowly moved from the Radaku sleeping on the floor, to longingly looking at the door. She had wanted to play more with the Loatoa, but it was keen on staying with Lynx regardless. Making her secretly want one of her own, Completely breaking her personal promise to have no more creatures. Loatoa's would be the only exception.

Heaving a sigh Teiluj tightened her grip around her legs. Pulling them even tighter against her chest. Lynx was exceptionally kind, in return for giving her a place to stay she had taken up keeping the house clean and cooking. Though she felt like she should either be doing more, or trying to find her own feet so she wasn't going to continue to be an unnecessary burden on Lynx. She knew he was likely to be sleeping right now, so she was trying to be as quiet as possible. It didn't help that she was currently restless and unable to sleep.

A growl from Tao pulled Teiluj's attention from the door to the Radaku. His head was now looking up at the window. The low rumble meant to express he had been alerted to something, though Teiluj no longer reacted to each time he was alerted. Sometimes it was just an unusual sound from the city around them. Sometimes it was an animal creeping by, as it was the curtains were drawn against the window and at this time, she doubted anyone would be peeping in at her.

She had her hair completely let out of her braids and beads. Being dressed down to just her intimates, Teiluj blinked a few times. Tao's growl was growing deeper.

Since she wasn't accepting jobs from the guild any time soon she spent her days, and nights, teaching her younger children how to do sneaky things. She'd already taught Rathian how to pickpocket his dad and now she was working with Ry on how to sneak into her siblings room via a window.

As her daughter worked she whispered instructions. "Slowly darling. If it is rusty or has a squeak you don't want to alert the person inside." She knew her two older sons wouldn't be upset to be a target for their baby sister.

Teiluj jumped, out of the corner of her eyes she could see a humanoid shadow cross over the curtains. Both hands landing on the blankets, one foot dangled over the edge. Her toes only barely grazing the floor. She hadn't learned where the floor would creek when stepped on, she hadn't been here long enough. Hadn't needed to be sneaky enough to figure it out either.

Her heart pumped in her chest, a surge of adrenaline flooded her system. The deepening growl from Tao continued.

Another pass of the humanoid shadow.

Simultaneously, Tao was on his feet. His growl louder, his lips curling back to expose his sharp fangs. His tongue snaked out around his muzzle aggressively.

Sounds at the window now had Teiluj off the bed. Keeping her back to the door Teiluj slowly backed up till she was pressed up against the solid wood. Her hand searched the area behind her till she could find the doorknob. Clasping the cold metal in her hand, the hybrid girl twisted the handle slowly. So as not to lead the intruder after her.

The hybrid woman pulled the door open just enough for her body to slip through. reaching across to the door directly in front of her across the hall. Once again twisting the door knob as silently as she could. Mentally thanking Aisha that it wasn't locked. Pulling the second door open she slipped inside. Pushing the door closed as quietly as she could. One palm flat against the door, another was balled into a fist over her heart.

Stray moonbeams cast rays of light against her body. Catching on her pale skin dancing across her frame. Illuminating and exposing the very curves of her body that made her a woman. Her chest rising and falling with her quickened breath.

Tao had upgraded from his warning growls to full on warning barks. The hybrids antenna picked up the vibrations of movement, both behind her and from the room she was just in.

Spinning around with her back to the door Teilujs golden eyes settled on Lynxs body. In her attempts to escape the intruder, she had failed to recall just whose door she had entered. Swallowing hard against the rising lump in her throat, Teiluj stood frozen in place. Completely aware of just how exposed she currently was. Her face aflame with a blush, unable to resist allowing her eyes to wander across Lynx's body.

Her head tilted ever so slightly to the side when the growling inside became louder. Thea knew that Banshee was outside in his pen. She'd given him a treat on her way up to the window. The janarim was a sucker for bribes when it came to Lynx's family members. Thea also knew that a perzi didn't sound like that. Nor did a loatoa or a keldari. So when Ry looked at her with question she shook her head. "Don't look at me. Lynx didn't mention getting another familiar and Iexa isn't home."

She might not live with her older sons but she did know where they were most the time. Thea had a habit of inquiring about her children through the guild. Keeping tabs on them made her feel better.

"Dunno if that beast is fully trained or not. Best not risk it. To the front door kiddo." She motioned Ry onward as she fished into her pocket for the key.

Teiluj stood frozen, she was staring equally back at Lynx. Taking in the movement of each muscle. The way the moonlight played against his dark skin made her heart flutter unpredictably. Her mind racing with the implications she was now in. They were both just as exposed as the other, making a few things a bit hard NOT to notice. Especially the way his damp hair clung around his back and shoulders.

Her head turned towards Toa's direction at nearly the same time Lynx had. Her antenna twitched keeping tabs on the vibrations around her. The second Lynx was shifting again Teiluj's eyes looked back at him through the corner of her eyes. Her blush deepening with his approach. "Lynxdaroch-" Teiluj whispered, her voice cut off when the fabric of a blanket enveloped her. The familiar firm hold of Lynx's hands moving her, forced a gasping moan out of her. His distracting scent was enveloping her now. Fresh and clean, making it even more powerful than before.

With trembling hands Teiluj took hold of the fabric. Pulling it off her head slowly to wrap it around her figure, with a bit of difficulty seeing as she was mostly pinned in place. One hand pressed against his lower abdomen. Any shift from him now was likely to release another sound from her. "You're-"

Tao was keeping track of the noises around the house. His claws now scratching at the closed door where he was trapped in. His barks and snarls growing louder and more threatening with his caged position.

The sound of the beast inside caused her to stare at the window with a single brow raised. That didn't sound like something her son would raise or even train. So it made her wonder if it was fresh from the wild. Could Lynx handle the beast? Did he have such a dangerous thing sleeping so close to him?

As her daughter made her way to the front of the house she followed, though she kept her eyes on the window for a second before looking forward. Thea would need to ask her son if he was alright. Perhaps he'd need to call in a master tamer for this one? She knew he had his pride but she didn't want him to get hurt to prove a point either. They had enough of that with her and her own brother she didn't need it in her kids.

"I think I need to ground your brother from getting any dangerous beasts." She tutted as they rounded the side of the house.

Another sound escaped her with the feel of the pressure from his fingers. He was so close, so masculine in his approach. Her body felt like fire had replaced her skin starting where his fingers touched her. Another tremble as his head leaned into hers. Instinctively Teilujs body reacted to Lynx, her hands let go of the blanket she held tightly around her. Her body pressed against him, she wasn't able to resist her impulse to do so. Her lips parting slightly as her nose brushed against his. Her half lidded eyes were looking at his lips. The hand on his lower abdomen had shifted to his lower arm. Feeling the scars, the muscles, but most importantly, him.

His touch was both calming and unnerving at the same time. She felt giddy, alive, needed, protected. She could feel his hair brush against her skin, finding herself intoxicated by the scent of him. Her mind was full of screaming outcries each one a different message. Her free hand that had released the blanket from around her body, raised up to touch his neck. To run her fingers over the soft colored crystals betraying his mixed blood. Her fingers weaving into his damp silver hair.

Her voice barely an audible whisper. "Lynx, I..." She wanted to tell him about the shadows outside her window. That she hadn't realized she was in the room he currently slept in. The sounds of her protective companion was drowned by the sound of her heart pounding against her chest. Her words failed her, her own voice carried the same desire.

"Someo-" it was impossible. Perhaps her mind was just playing tricks on her. What did it matter anyway. Her mind was releasing everything but the very moment they were in. Focused completely on the hybrid now holding her.

After unlocking the door she followed Ry inside and looked around. Expecting to see her son there waiting with an exasperated expression on his face she was left disappointed when he was nowhere to be found. "Where is he?" She wondered out loud.

As Ry called for him she started toward the bedrooms. The snarling was still coming from his room but she didn't hear his voice soothing the beast so she suspected it was left in there for safety reasons. "Feral beast.. wonder if its hungry." Or just protective of what it considered its territory. "Ry-" She was cut off as she heard a sound coming from Iexa's room. She knew for a fact her other son wasn't home so she figured Lynx had gone into the other room when the beast had reacted. Perhaps to get a weapon? Or maybe to get the upper hand on the person sneaking in.

Thea went over to the door and knocked on it. "Lynx." He would know her voice so she didn't say who she was.
