Groaning with the effort to stay balanced on banshee, Teiluj's breathing was deep and heavy. Her head felt very hot, small beads of sweat pooled on her forehead mixing with the raindrops. It took far to much effort to keep her focus on just being awake. Slowly shifting her head in response to Lynx, her eyes focusing on him. He wasn't in much better shape, she could see the bruising showing up on his skin in various places. The slice he had received from the axe on his side, looked painful in it's own right. She couldn't understand how the man was even able to walk in the first place.

Shaking her head slowly Teiluj struggled to respond taking deep breaths as she spoke. "Not till... I can get... your wounds... closed." Her body bobbed and weaved with the motion of the janarim she rode on. "We need a... place to hide." She could feel her body growing heavy, her grip weakening.

Their trip had not gone as planned. They had come to Yael in search of a beast for Lynx to tame, and now they were wandering around having fought off an extremist. Nearly surviving by the skin of their backs. "We should stop... here... we should be... far enough away... by now." She was so insistent, she allowed her body to slip off the large beast.

Her body slid into Lynx, her feet took a moment before she was steady enough on the ground. Moving away from Lynx towards a tree for further balance. Refusing to put any pressure on Lynx because of his own wounds. Teiluj tried to protest against the use of magic on herself, but her energy was low already. Unable to put up much of a fight, Teiluj reluctantly agreed. Casting the healing she knew best, her good hand covered each puncture in turn. It was just strong enough to close the wounds to prevent further bleeding. However not strong enough to completely remove the injury all together. Once the bleeding had stopped Teiluj moved onto her arm, that needed to be mended for mobility to heal Lynx.

Her head still felt heavy and hot, with the cold from her rain-soaked body left the female hybrid in discomfort. Her breath making visible clouds with each exhale. Her cheeks where bright red, slumping against the tree, Teiluj slid towards the ground. It would take some time for her to rest enough to recover a bit of healing magic. Mentally telling herself that she had healed herself enough, Lynx would need healing when she was able. "At least wrap it up, so it doesn't get infected." She mumbled fighting against the sleep that threatened to consume her.

The reassurance from Lynx that he had her as she found herself lifted up. Mixed with the heartbeat in his chest against her ears. All seemed to converge in a way that only fueled Teiluj's collapse into sleep. She knew that with Lynx there, she truly was safe. Her only fight against the sleep that consumed her was the worry of how much pain Lynx would be in, how much it could potentially worsen his own wounds before she could tend to them. "I know." Teiluj mumbled her body succumbing to peaceful rest.

Teiluj wasn't sure just how much time had passed before she woke. Her vision felt fuzzy and her head still wasn't much better than it was before she had passed out. She could feel the warmth of a fire flickering nearby, keeping the cold at bay. Slowly blinking her eyes open, Teiluj took in the surroundings. They were in a dark cave. The hybrid could see the janarim, Banshee, near the entrance of the cave. There were sounds of water dripping in the background, and the musty smell of wet earth wafting within the mix of the smell of the fire.

Golden eyes shifted across the cave, her arms slowly pushing her off the ground. "Lynx?" Teiluj whispered, know that he couldn't be far off if Banshee was still there.

Relaxing having heard his response Teiluj pushed herself to her feet. The rest of her healing could wait. Wobbling a little with her head so dizzy Teiluj gave a moan, her hand reaching up to hold her head. The way it pounded against her skull at the rush of blood almost put her back on the ground. Stumbling forward towards Lynx, Teiluj collapsed to her knees in front of him. Her eyes taking all of him in, from the bruising around his neck. To the blood soaked fabric around his midsection. Her face relaxed, his midsection would need attention first with how much blood he had lost. She wouldn't be able to replace any of the lost blood, but she could close the wound. Assuming he would let her this time.

Fingers twitched, reaching out towards Lynx's face. Moving his hair way from his shoulders to get a better look for any other wounds she could have missed. Leaning towards him, her hands slowly slid down his neck. Catching on his shoulder before slowly following the curves of his body down to the wound on his side. She pulled closer to Lynx, the words of the spell worked their way out of her lips. It would take a moment to activate the healing spell, her fingers catching on the fabric slowly working at releasing how it was tied against him. "Let me, I need to heal this." She needed to remove the cloth to get a better look at the complexity of the wound. She would have to check to make sure there was no infection, as she could heal but not cure.

Teiluj sighed, shifting her body slowly so her legs rested on either side of him on the ground. She would use her body to make sure he was boxed in for now. Her eyes moved slowly up from focusing on the cloth, to looking into silver eyes. Making a shushing sound, reaching up with one hand to brush his damp bangs out of his face. Her touch was light and tender, brushing against his skin. "I'm alright, Lynx. I can make it through this, but I'm scared if I waste all my magic again before closing your wounds... that I'll loose you. Completely and permanently. Please, I don't want to loose you. You're already starting to fade."

The hybrid struggled against the tears. She didn't want to resort to showing tears, her body shivering against a cold breeze sweeping into the entrance of the cave. Her free hand slowly traced it's way along his ear, towards his neck. She leaned in, if anything she would attempt to distract him while she worked her magic. "Don't make me risk loosing you." Her hand continued down back towards the cloth around him. The light purple glow hovering over the wound in his side. Her lips hovering near his neck. "Thank you Lynx. I would not have survived Aselia's attack without you."

Looking up at Lynx from the corner of her eyes she continued working on the spell. Making a small sound while allowing Lynx to pull her closer. She couldn't help but snuggle up to him. The warmth in his body helped against the cold of the wet atmosphere. The jerk had interrupted her healing magic, if only briefly. Her head resting on his shoulder, she mumbled the incantation once again. Her hand barely touching the cloth against Lynx's greater wound. She would worry about his neck after the wound on his side was taken care of. For some reason she wasn't yet at full capacity. Her body and mind strained against the effort that it took to heal Lynx. "Selfish, how?"

It helped that she was already snuggled up to Lynx while she worked. Removing the effort of keeping her body upright, till the last ounce had once been used. He would be mostly healed now, save for the loss of blood and some minor injuries. She once again fell asleep, having expended all her efforts.

Stray beams of light from the early morning sun, danced and flickered through the leaves outside the cave. Every once so often stopping, before flickering again. The campfire had burned down to barely smoldering embers. Her long rest had been welcome, and greatly needed. Shifting a little Teiluj paused, she could feel Lynxs arms still around her. His soft breathing flicking stands of her hair back and forth. There was no doubt she was his now, enjoying the relaxing warmth the hybrid couldn't help but find peace in the moment. She wanted to save this moment forever, never wanting it to end. Lynx was home to her, and she would travel with him wherever he wanted to go. Without question.

Opening her eyes, Teiluj couldn't help but stare at the man's sleeping face. He was mesmerizing, as if he didn't already look amazing while walking. His sleeping peaceful state was a memory she wanted to etch into her mind forever. Smirking, she wiggled upwards a little to plant a soft kiss on his lips.
