Teiluj nodded her head quickly as she set about looking for the right materials to build a net with. She had to be careful about the items she picked. If it was too heavy it could cause damage to the Nondwa if it didn't frighten it off first. If it was too sticky from sap or goop from the fruit it would risk damaging the wings. Trusting Aysun Teiluj slowly constructed her net before returning to him. Holding it out for him to inspect. "Here how does this look? Do you think we could easily sneak up on the Nondwa this way?" It was hard for Teiluj to keep her composure. With the idea of catching a nondwa so close at hand she found herself trembling with the overwhelming emotions.
What would her mother think when she brought it back? What would Nkole think when she found the chance to show him and explain how Aysun had helped her find it. She shook her head and gave the net a little shake. "I think you should try, I don't have the patience to sit there and move inch by inch towards it just in hopes that it wont fly away. It's only a miracle Tao stayed at home you know! A-and you have much more skill with animals than I do." Her yellow eyes flashed back to where she had last seen the Nondwa of her choice. Her heart fluttering anxiously in her chest.

Aysun gave the net a once over, reaching out to poke at it a couple times here and there, before he gave a nod, "I think that this should be alright. It's a nice, night net so while it can catch the nondwa it won't hurt it." He said, giving Teiluj a smile and a thumbs up to indicate that she had put together a good net. This should be perfect for catching the nondwa that she wanted in a manner that should be safe and a lot less stressful to the animal. He couldn't help but to bounce in place a little, "This is a lot of fun! Thanks for bringing me along, Teiluj." He said as he turned to watch the nondwa, following the one she liked with his eyes, before he turned to look over at her, eyes wide.
"Huh? Me?" He thought about it for a moment, considering the idea, "Mmm, maybe? I don't want it to get too attached to me since the nondwa is yours, but I am sure we can figure it out together." He said, giving a nod of his head, "So long as we catch it, and then you step in and start to pet it, talk to it, make friends with it, then is should be alright. Hmm, I wonder where Nondwa like to be petted. I'd say not the wings, maybe the head or under the chin? Getting scratched under the chin is something that even Maw loves so it's a good bet." He chuckled at the last part, thinking on the fun it would be to get to scratch a nondwa under the chin. He wondered if the two of them were going to end up covered in colorful dust as they were petting the creature. That could be fun!
Aysun took a couple steps forward when he suddenly paused, "Ah! Look! Teiluj, your nondwa is coming over towards us." He chirped, sounding quite excited, as though the idea that the nondwa was coming over was going to make it a lot easier to make friends with it. At least it didn't seem afraid of them? Maybe it had seen calm, nonviolent people like them before? If so that would help them out a lot.

Teilu squeaked resisting the urge to dive and hide behind Aysun. Her eyes wide as she turned her head to look at the man then back to the shifter. What should she do!? Nondwa didn't have the same kind of intelligence that her kinfa, Radaku, and her mothers Janarim had. Would it even know what she was saying to it? Could it even tell she wanted to be friends with it? Maybe she was standing in some yummy flowers? She glanced down to her feet and looked around. No that didn't seem to be the case either. "Aysun I don't know what to do." Teiluj mumbled twitching nervously as she took a step back. Glancing nervously back towards Aysun as the Nondwa drew closer and settled on her arm.
Her eyes were frantic as she looked between Aysun and the Nondwa. Willing him to understand she hadn't the first clue how to go about this. He had given her pointers but what if nondwa were different? She watched as it's wings opened and closed behind it. They looked different up close, the feathery appearance of the antenna so different from her own were the first to make her curious. She couldn't help but stare, growing a little panicked as the nondwa slowly climbed her arm. "Eh... eh... I..." She watched as it tilted its head, suddenly nervous about what appeared to be mandibles. It's abdomen wriggled and twitched as it moved.
Glancing back to Aysun Teiluj gave him a pout. "What is it doing!?" She whispered breathlessly.

Aysun stepped in closer when the nondwa came to land on Teiluj, giving a thoughtful sound, "Their a lot bigger then I was expecting them to be." He said in a musing manner, looking the nondwa over closely, inspecting its coloration and markings, before looking up at Teiluj, "Hmmm, well you don't need to do anything drastic, it seems to like you and is inspecting you I think. Probably seeing if you're safe or not, it's a good sign that it's at least open to making friends with you."
Lifting a hand he rested it on her shoulder to help her to keep calm before he looked at the nondwa, "It seems to like you, at least I think so, it seems to be getting comfortable." He said, lifting his hand so that he could pet the nondwa on the head, "Would you look at that? It is rather soft, just like I thought it might be. It was something that pleased Aysun like nothing else, to know what a nondwa actually felt like. Kind of fluffy like a baby bird, maybe even softer, covered in fine hair that even rivaled that of a raoti.
Watching the way the nondwa was wiggling and twitching he said, "I think it's just getting comfortable, maybe it means to perch on you for a while? Here's to hoping that it doesn't start feeling really heavy after a short time like when carrying around some pets, huh?" Something that had him giving a little chuckle before he dug into his pack, fishing out a piece of fruit. He lifted it to his mouth, tearing off a small piece to offer it to the nondwa. After a moment it took it in it's mandibles, chewing on it a bit, seeming to be after the juice in the fruit. Once he knew it was interested he offered the rest to Teiluj, "Here you go, it seems to like this, just tear off small pieces with your teeth to give to it and... yeah, it will just spit it out when it gets all the juice it wants." He plucked the piece off that it dropped from Teiluj's arm, tossing it aside, then gave her a smile.
"Don't worry, since their not carnivores it shouldn't be as hard as some creatures to tame." At least that was what he hoped would be the case. He supposed he'd be one of the first to know if the nondwa started to act up and Teiluj needed help with it. For now though at least it seemed content to perch on her.
