BASICS Name: Elizabeth Almasy
Nickname: Beth, Betty
Gender: Female
Age and Birth Date: 26, May 11, 1990
Occupation: Spoiled sweet trying to fill Mommy's Shoes with Daddy's Money. Technically a student at the University of Washington.
APPEARANCE Beth is 5' 3” and on the voluptuous side. She considers her best assets her luxurious, curly brown hair and more-than-ample bust. She takes a lot of pride in her appearance, spending most of her budget on cosmetics, clothes, and Lush brand hair care/bath products. She has a round face, wide blue eyes, and large upturned nose. She takes care to keep her skin pale, all the better to contrast with her dark hair and usually ruby red lips.
(Face claim) (Face claim) (Face claim)Beth wears anything black, lacy, and floral. She's been mistaken for Hollywood's version of a funeral home owner, but it's not her fault that no one can do heartrending emotion like Gothic Romances. She'll occasionally dip into purples, plums, or a bright emerald green. She likes to pretend she's a class act even if she's an actual hot mess inside. See some fashion ideas

PERSONALITY LOYAL—CONSIDERATE—SENSUAL
Beth is a ride-or-die kind of b***h. If she promises she'll be there, you can count on her to come rushing to your rescue, hell or high water. She’ll usually say nothing of the matter unless you make the joke first. Bring her any of your projects, your ideas, your ambitions, and she'll be your personal cheerleader.
Beth takes pride in knowing small details about others. She might not give you the Perfect Gift for your birthday, but she'll find a gift card for that store you always stop in front of but never go into. She noticed your longing look and knows the value of choosing your own gifts. She makes a point to let others come to her with their concerns, passions, and ramblings without the intention of judging. If you want to have a relaxing, low-demand spa day, she'll know just the place and will always let someone pamper her and her friends.
There is absolutely, 100% nothing wrong with engaging in the physical comforts of the world. What good is an expensive divan if it doesn’t both look lovely in your living room AND make you feel like you’re sinking into a cloud? Hedonistic? Materialistic? Of course, but why on earth do you treat them like pejorative terms? Beth is also not shy about sharing the wealth either. You can’t take it with you, after all, so you might as well spend it on yourself and the people you love.
LAZY—OBSTINATE—CRUEL
It's not that Beth doesn't work hard, it's just that expending energy to affect the world takes so
much out of her. Sure, she could make that phone call, or apply for that job, or ask that d**k to please stop assuming that she's on his side. But that would take
effort and effort is just a
pain. It's so much simpler to have someone else do it...and have them deal with the consequences.
Beth is extremely loath to change her mind. Once you push her to making a decision, she absolutely will not rescind her answer, even when the other option is demonstrably better in every way. You will be hard-pressed to sway her once she's put her foot down. Overcoming inertia is the hard part, and once in motion she's a veritable juggernaut.
The thing about being the confidant of her friends is that she knows exactly where to press and break the skin. Once she's been angered or flustered, she takes no time in finding those weak spots and ripping them open with her exquisitely manicured nails. Later, she'll regret it, but you'll always feel like the whole messy affair was somehow your fault.
Secondary characteristics of note: High-Strung, Enabling
DEITY Which deity blessed your character and marked them for recruitment? Hera
What makes them fit within the sphere of this particular god? Even though she’s long since moved out, Beth tries to keep the peace within her home. She would honestly rather her parents pretend that she doesn't exist, but if they're lecturing her, they can't yell at each other. (Besides, she needs her allowance.) She brings order to a household in the absence of the heads. This isn't necessarily the warm comfort of the hearth, but the stability of walls built on a strong foundation. She offers sanctuary to those who require it--despite her deep-seated need for privacy, she hosts various friends in the guest room and sleeper couch of her apartment.
