High Concept: Disillusioned Cutie
If there is one thing Temperance truly loves, it's anything cute. Loves. Cute things, however, don't love her. Temperance has accepted this, more or less (less), and simply stares at the frills and things she'll never be able to pull off from a safe distance. Plus, she's a nursing student, it's not like she has time for that. She tells herself she's being practical, but in reality, Temperance no longer sees the point in trying.

Temperance shivered. This was the last time she went anywhere without an umbrella, especially since she kept ending up being dumped in the middle of alternate Ashdown without warning. To put it plainly, it sucked and it was cold and damp. Rubbing her arms (the goosebumps had already made an appearance), Temperance turned the corner. Someone was walking towards her, blonde hair shimmering dimly in the fading light. She raised her hand in an attempt to catch the person's attention before realizing the other person was already bee-lining for Temperance. She stopped short, placing a hand on the wall next to her, the bricks rough and wet under her palm. A crowned sword was splattered across the wall next to her fingers - some sort of strange graffiti. She wondered if these was some way, some magic to pull the sword from the stone, so to speak. But Temperance was no King Arthur, so she dropped her hand and looked at the person coming towards her.

And then she did a double-take. The person moving towards her was... her. The same hair, piled up in a messy bun, same face, same height, same clothing! Temperance's mind raced, going over the warning Zac had given her, the inklings of what she might encounter in this version of Ashdown. But nothing had spoken of other versions of herself. In a world near devoid of people, why was she here? Temperance licked her lips nervously.

"Per...so... na." Nothing happened; Temperance wasn't sure what she had even been expecting as a result of her silly words; they had just been a short indulgence since she couldn't think of anything else. She pinched herself sharply in the crook of one elbow. Maybe this really was only a silly dream of a silly girl who'd been studying too much for her finals. Nothing happened, and she watched her own self still approach steadily, hips swaying, causing her plaid skirt to flip up at the edges. She couldn't help it; she froze like a deer caught in the headlights of her own stare That other her came close enough that Temperance could feel it's breath on her face, could see that they were alike in every way, even down to the stubborn zit above Temperance's brow. Above their brows.

"Are you stupid?" The other Temperance laughed back at her. "You can't hide behind pop culture references and frilly dresses forever, Temperance." She eyed Temperance up and down. "Or the lack of frilly dresses. Even your own name - sobriety, self-restraint. You put these chains on yourself, you know, and tell yourself you're happy in them." Her mouth gaped open like a fish as the other her talked. It was her voice, but with an inflection she rarely used. The rain continued to mist down on them both, golden heads bowed together as if sharing an intimate secret. Her clone (for lack of a better word) reached out one perfectly manicured nail to trail along Temperance's strong jawline. She'd always been self-conscious of it and she flinched.

Her clone smirked. "Don't you think you could be more, if you let yourself? You could be-" The other Temperance leaned even closer, soft lips brushing against her cheek. Temperance jerked back, hands pushing out. Her other self stumbled back, mouth twisting in annoyance. She didn't stay to hear more, to watch more of what her clone might do. Wide-eyed, Temperance turned around and ran, feet slapping noisily against the wet sidewalk.

Power ideas:

the ability to make people within hearing range unable to talk for 30 seconds if she shouts SHUT UP
When Temperance yells specifically "SHUT UP" sound within the room she is in is damped for (unsure of time? 15 sec? 30sec?) excepting her own voice. Maybe beyonders are immune to this?

exsanguination - As long as she is touching someone, Temperance can control their blood flow. She can slow it in the case of main arteries and, in smaller veins and capillaries, stop it entirely. This effect ceases once she stops touching the person.

Major Power: Temperance's body seems to shimmer like mist - in fact she kind of is mist, huh - she can pass through solid objects while this is active.
Minor Power: Whenever she stops using either of her two powers, luckily she never seems to be stuck inside something.
Minor Power: While in the first form, Temperance can 'blink' in a series of up to three mini teleports (up to 5yrd each). More than three in a row would become disorienting to the point of impassable nausea/vertigo. She cannot change direction mid-teleport, but can between teleports.

Major Power: exsanguination - As long as she is touching someone, Temperance can control their blood flow. She can slow it in the case of main arteries and, in other cases, stop it entirely. This effect ceases once she stops touching the person.
Minor Power: auxilium te ipsum - Temperance can manifest up to two additional sets of arms. While these appear somewhat ghostly in nature, they are solid and can assist with any task.
Minor Power: artificial fascia - When she needs them, Temperance always manages to find absorbent, easily usable bandages of some sort.
