Quote: THE DICE TABLE 1 - This stretch of hall is clear. You encounter no enraged otherbeings or obstacles. 2 - You've dead-ended on a third-floor guest wing. Turn around and try again. 3 - You've found a way out, but it's blocked by an otherbeing. Take a moderate wound/10 damage and escape or run and reroll! 4 - You've dead-ended in the peacock garden. Take five damage from vicious peacocks and continue on. 5 - You've been found by an enraged otherbeing! Take five damage and continue on. 6 - This stretch of hall is clear. You encounter no enraged otherbeings or obstacles. 7 - You've found an enraged otherbeing, but managed to stealth by them. Keep going! 8 - This stretch of hall is clear. You encounter no enraged otherbeings or obstacles. 9 - You've found a way out, but it's blocked by an obstacle. Take five damage and escape, or turn around and try again! 10 - You've encountered an enraged otherbeing. Take five damage and keep going! 11 - You've dead-ended in what seems to be a kitchen. Take some food and keep running! 12 - You have successfully found a way out! Should your health drop below 0, you are downed and (if you're soloing it) must roll 1d4 for rescue! If you're in a group, they can carry your lame a** ;3 That table looks like this: 1 - You call out for help and no one answers. Roll again. 2 - You call out for help and a friendly plant-person comes and rubs some kind of energizing gel on your face. Gain five health and get going! 3 - You find the drive to get up and keep going. Gain five health. 4 - You're just gonna rest here for a bit... Roll again :3

Quote: 11 - You've dead-ended in what seems to be a kitchen. Take some food and keep running! Lady was gone, pulled away by other hands. But they had enough, had to have enough to get her out. Shun had run off too, thankfully, letting them have a chance of getting Melany out. Temperance slunk along in front of the others, occasionally leaving a bloody smear across the wall. She turned a corner and... a kitchen. "I don't think this is the right way," she said softly. They had to keep going and not stop. shlbrogane I'm a-rolling and we taking melany

Connor had wrapped his hand with his tie, a quick fix for the deep, oozing wound along his palm. The next time he saw that detective, he was going to...well, probably not punch him. Spit in his drink if he ever came into Darlene's, perhaps. Carrying Melany was awkward as ********, mostly because there was no good way of doing it without aggravating her injury more. "Well, darling, you'd better figure it out quickly. I didn't take a knife for this b***h just to let her die in my ******** arms now." He offered his typical dry smile. "Is there a way through here?"

"Is there another door through here?" Jordan shot a quick glance around the kitchen. "Guess not. Wasn't there another corridor a little way back?"

"Aren't you charming as always, cowboy. Did you wrap the cut up, at least?" She scooted back out of the kitchen and down the way they came. True to Jordan's memory, a long corridor shot off the hallway. It was empty and she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Yes, mom." He mocked, and shifted his arms to better hold the woman that lay dying in them. Following the other two, they found themselves in what appeared to be a deserted corridor. Well wasn't that just lucky?

There were no otherbeings and no apparent hazards in this corridor. Jordan still didn't think they should relax. It was far too early for that. "Seussi"]

Quote: 4 - You've dead-ended in the peacock garden. Take five damage from vicious peacocks and continue on. Everyone takes 5 dmg HP: 20/25 Temperance slid open a glass door and stepped outside, the grass tickling her ankles. And then she heard it - the dreaded screech of a bird. Suddenly, one swooped down from a tree and hit her full on in the face. "Back! Go back!"

Connor w/ Mel's unconscious body - 15/25 - not the cocks! anything but that! Too late, Connor had stumbled out in the garden with Temp and was immediately accosted by a flock of peacocks. He did his best to shield Melany by turning his back towards them, feeling the beat of wings and scrape of talons against him. "s**t, ********!" He hurried back inside, Temp's prompting unnecessary at that point.

HP: 20/25 - oh no a cockblock Jordan stepped outside and opened his mouth to say something about this exit looking promising. Then the peacocks descended. He covered his head with one arm and darted back inside after the others, hurriedly shutting the door behind them. The glass vibrated as a bird threw itself against the door, glaring bloody murder at the humans. "Guess that door's out."

Quote: 12 - You have successfully found a way out! Temperance ducked out of the garden quickly, and continued down the hallway, glancing back to check up on Connor and Jordan. Frustrated, she cracked open the first door, the second, the third, finding nothing but sitting rooms and libraries. Panic raced down her back, an impending sense of doom. What if there wasn't time? She flung open the last door. The beginning beams of dawn crept over the horizon. "s**t," she said softly. "s**t, we're almost there!"

Connor hill - 15/25 - please my arms are gon fall off "No s**t." Connor grimaced slightly at the echo of pain on his back from the demonic peacocks, casting a glance Jordan's way. "If we don't find a way out of this hell soon, I'm going to have to pass this woman on to you." His arms ached from the awkward way he held her, and though he didn't wish to jostle her further by passing her into new arms, it was better than dropping her on the floor. As luck would have it, however, Temp seemed to have found there way out. He heaved a sigh of relief and caught up to her. "And now the moment of ******** truth: Are we going to be allowed to leave?" And not just because of who they were smuggling along with them. If she had to be left behind....well, they'd at least tried. Deep breath taken, Melany held tight, he began to move.

Jordan Miller - 20/25 - gtfo omg "Just let me know, I'll take her if you get too tired," Jordan agreed. The sense of tension rose with each door they checked and didn't find a way out. But the last door, miraculously, seemed to be an actual exit, with the light of dawn starting to show over the horizon. "Only one way to find out if we're allowed, I guess." He followed the others out.
