Relaxing -
Probably his favorite thing to do in his free time is nothing at all. Dennis is the kind of guy that does not to be occupied all the time: when he has free time he likes it to feel like it is just that. Free. He does not consider outings, dates, and all that stuff to be part of his free time, but rather his schedule. Relaxing is something simple, and never outside the house. Drinking a beer, watching the TV, clicking around the internet. Things he can do in his socks and nothing else, if he so wanted.
Fishing -
Every few months, Dennis takes some time off to go fishing properly. Between those trips, though, he will head out to whatever small bodies of water he can around Destiny City and fish the old fashioned way. Stick and string, with some poor unassuming worm stuck to the end of it. It's more about sitting in nature and letting the world drift by, taking with it his stress and anxiety from work and life. Or so is the plan, and it is effective enough to keep him coming back. There is something in the simplicity of it, the quiet and the isolation, that appeals in small doses, allowing him to recenter himself before diving head first back into his high paced life.
Adventuring -
Dennis is a go getter sort, and likes to have fun. He is a bit of a thrill seeker and a risk taker, and he likes to head out in packs or with friends to do wild and reckless things. Throwing himself out of planes and off cliffs, rock climbing, hiking, living in Destiny City. They make him feel a certain thrill that is both addictive and relaxing at once. It is a release as much as it is a way to pump himself up and kick his gears into overdrive, where they always need to be.

Easy Going -
Dennis approaches everything with a very easy kind of attitude about him. He is observant and level headed, taking in the world around him at his own pace and letting his brain process things in whatever fashion it deems fit. He is a clever sort, but he does not show just how calculating and watchful he really is in his demeanor. Instead, he is a calm and approachable kind of guy, with an easy going nature and a smile or a nod of his head that he is not hesitant to share. He is all for casual conversations, leisurely strolls, and taking breaks. He likes to talk to people, especially when he can get into a story share situation, and talk about himself just as much as he does learn about someone else. Sharing is caring!

Above most other things in his life, Dennis is a very driven guy. He might be leisurely in his free time, and sometimes looks like he is a loafer or slacker, he is actually very determined to make the best of his life. He wants to be the best man he can, in every aspect of his life, and he will go to great lengths to make sure he gets there. At work, then, he is a very dedicated and productive employee, getting his work done quickly and able to maintain his leisurely attitude without shifting gears. It is a very natural skill to him: he was one of those kids that could skate through high school without ever looking like they were trying, but were somehow succeeding. This attitude is enough to take him to the top of the middle, maybe the bottom of the top, but not high enough. Still,

Dennis is not the kind of guy to get embarrassed very easily. He is goofy in his way, and does not really care about causing scenes or embarrassing other people. He is out going, he'll say hello to anyone, and he'll try anything at least once. This ranges from food to life experiences. If someone asks him to join in on a pub crawl, a bungee jumping excursion, or a dog grooming class, he'll give it a go. It stretches beyond just his personal and play time, into his work ethic. If his bosses ask him to do an extra task, stay an extra hour, cover a project for someone else, he will do it. If he sees something that needs to be done, he'll offer.
Flaws:
Selfish -
Dennis' number one concern is for himself. He does not spare many thoughts to others, and he will not put anyone else before himself. Or at least, he has never done so. As a kid he was a little bit spoiled, in the sense that he got everything he wanted whenever he wanted it, without much hassle. Now he just expects it, even though he did understand that he has to make it so. He doesn't need anyone else to help him but he'll certainly take advantage of anyone that offers it! He has no qualms with that, and he does not go out of his way to bring focus to it. He is all please and thank you, and is a big believer in thank you cards and gift baskets, but as far as returning favors in kind he falls a little short. He's insincere, attached to most people at the most shallow of levels.
Skeezy -
Along with offering to do anything he can to help get things done at work, he is always thinking about himself. He wants nothing more than to further himself, make the best version of himself as he can, after all. That often includes getting to projects before others can, and doing work that might make others look bad for not completing it themselves: he will do anything and everything it takes to get himself ahead. Some times that requires moving someone out of his way. His goals are not to be stuck behind a desk forever: he wants to seize Destiny City, and all its strange crime, by the horns. All he can see are the fascinating possibilities before him, and by an ill stroke of luck he was plonked in a position within the Station, a clerk basically, that he does not really want. He will claw and fight his way out of it, toward a more prestigious position. Of course, this kind of behavior is not limited to work alone. His personal affairs, as an unattached bachelor, as well as his dealings with his own friends and family, can be impacted by his underhanded tactics to make the life he lives the best it can be. So, in general, he is driven to get what he wants, when he wants it, and by any means necessary. He will go as far as he needs to, and as far as he can get away with, to succeed in these goals. And he doesn't care who he has to hurt or topple to get there, when he's focused on it.
Vicious -
Dennis puts up a good facade. He is a likeable enough guy by his own definitions and design, not doing anything outwardly that would put him on the mass s**t list. Individually, depending on the situation, the real him comes out, and he's alright with that. There are rare occasions, however, that require more out of him. If someone puts themselves in his way directly, if anyone challenges him and his path to greatness or success in whatever it is he is chasing at the time, he has a cut throat side of him. It becomes more than just moving someone out of his way: it becomes about destroying them completely. Getting someone fired from work, ruining someone's reputation, even using bottles in a bar fight: he is not above the lowest of the low moves, if he feels it's come to that serious a degree. A last resort, as it were, but always a possibility.
