○<[Raid] Night at the Museum with others> Upon hearing news of the Blue Orb on exhibit in Jinko, I left for the historic city with every intent to seize it. Team Rocket interfered yet again. Their power is truly beyond that which I imagined...
○<[PRP] Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend with Tinnunculus> I received a suspicious request from a gem buyer that we complete our exchange in person. It turned out to be a most fortuitous encounter.
○<[PRP] Just Another Jill with NaomiNaomi>I happened upon a man named Sorano as he was practicing dance. Things proceeded tamely enough until I foolishly and shamefully lost control of my emotions.
○<[PRP] Caffeine Fix with An Original Username> By chance, I found myself sharing a drink with the psychologist Isadora. It was a most uncomfortable conversation.
○<[PRP] Hallway Collision with BlackPidgeot> I happened upon Seth in the halls. He was his usual 'pleasant' self, but I managed to solicit meaningful work from him.
○<[PRP] Night For A Walk with Blood_Goddess> A chance encounter with the grunt Faleen found me in Ambergris at some odd hour. With her advice, I captured a particularly troublesome Misdreavus.
○<[PRP] Access Denied with Sao Kasai and others> I was reprimanded by Nadja after attempting to enter the labs to complete my maps of the base. In an effort towards apology, I set out for the Camphoreon outpost with the scientist Nyx to retrieve supplies.
○<[PRP] Those blue eyes... with Lural> That reprehensible Vaporeon from the museum dared to show its face before me, and I engaged it and its trainer in battle. Revenant proceeded to show me the true meaning of "reprehensible."
○<[PRP] Catnap for a Cat Burglar with Bouncy_Pineapple> I was woken by Leonard in a place where I should not have been asleep, and we shared in a brief discussion regarding our goals with Team Rocket.
○<[PRP] Cirque des Ombres with LizzyMoo> Taken by a whim to perform gymnastics in a hall, I was engaged by Elite Agent Kunai who proceeded to test my abilities and priorities.
○<[PRP] The True Test with Crimson Jazz> After challenging and defeating the grunt Liam in a simulation, we shared company over a brief lunch.
○<[PRP] Night Terrors with ashes to the wind> Revenant demonstrated her troublesome tendencies once more, embarrassing me in front of a girl by the name of Cal. Together we were able to retrieve her, and Cal offered to help me bring her under control.
○<[PRP] Training Woes with ashes to the wind> I met with Cal in hopes of inspiring obedience in Revenant. We shared in a battle and she offered me advice towards this end.
○<[PRP] What's in the basket? with Lural> I visited a park in Ambergris with the intent to enjoy a quiet lunch in the nice weather, but I ended up sharing company with a girl named Citrine. Shedinja ensued. Shedinja everywhere.
○<[ORP] The Scenic Route with others> [Complete on technicality.] Elite Agent Seth supervised a trip to the Cypress Forest so that trainees and grunts could gain experience in the field of stealing pokemon. I obtained Acier, and Aron, from my target.
○<[PRP] Back to Basics with TawnyAngel> I met the new recruit by the name of Frost. He seems pleasant enough - very professional and to the point. One can tell a lot about a person from the types of questions they ask, and his wonders were certainly relevant.
○<[PRP] Unrest in Ambergris with ashes to the wind> I brought Revenant to Ambergris in hopes of encouraging her to cooperate more. She took off without me, and so I resigned myself to my studies before being interrupted by a young man a swarm of wild Beldum.
○<[PRP] All Play and No Work with Sao Kasai> I discovered Pitre in the recreational facilities playing a game with Newton. Things became... awkward.
○<[PRP] Reading Too Deep with An Original Username> I sought out the psychologist Isadora and solicited study materials. A heated argument led to a better mutual understanding.
○<[PRP] Music Of The Night with An Original Username> I found myself dancing to the song of a stranger in the desert. She seemed grateful for my words, as was I for hers.
○<[PRP] Careful What You Wish For with Sao Kasai> Nyx's Newton seemed to be under the impression that I had agreed to allow him to escort me. Never allow yourself to go on a date with a balloon.
○<[PRP] A Friendly Chat with Tinnunculus> I received the interesting information in an encounter with Elite Agent Nadja that the man I wish to kill will be in Kodo soon.
○<[PRP] Fine Dining for Thugs with others> [Complete on technicality.] Elite Agent Seth organized a fine dining environment to brief those attending the raid on proper form.
○<[Raid] Ballroom Blitz with others> Give back my name...
○<[PRP] That was something, Now wasn't it. with others> We stopped by the Camphoreon outpost to stabilize the injured, and those of us who were uninjured were given a chance to stabilize ourselves.
○<[PRP] Loose Ends with Dante-Sayre> I was summoned to the boss's office to receive punishment for the unsanctioned murder of Leon's daughter during the mission.
○<[PRP] Medicine, Man with Sao Kasai and Crimson Jazz> As soon as I was able, I paid a visit to the injured Liam in the infirmary. I feel awful for allowing him to suffer such a wound while I attended to my own vendetta, but at least he doesn't seem too off-put by his circumstances...
○<[PRP] Blood-stained Hands with Lural> I will never understand what drives Mau to be so kind.
○<[PRP] Work It Out with An Original Username> I am beginning to suspect that I cope poorly with stress... Fortunately there are some surprisingly supportive people in this building. I am incredibly grateful to count Lilith as a friend.
○<[Raid] Volcano Villainy with others> I participated on a retrieval mission to a volcano, our goal the legendary Ho-Oh. Galactic intervened, but we succeeded in securing the egg. Unfortunately it seems I was injured in the process.
○<[PRP] Hurt and Comfort with The Anesthesia> While incapacitated, a woman who introduced herself as Acacia visited me. She was helpful in a number of ways; I appreciated her company, however brief.
○<[PRP] Miss Muffet with BlackFireKitsune> Some wretched little thing found its way into the clinic and insisted on harassing me. Claire assisted me in driving it away and also gave me access to news of matters in Grande Ile, that latter of which was... distressing.
○[PRP] Luncheon on the Grass with Tawny Angel While traversing the Calamus Plains, I found myself in an encounter with a man called Aulus. He seemed a bit gruff, perhaps, but he had a great deal of valuable information to share. I do believe it was a pleasant meeting.
○<[PRP] Wanderlust with BlackFireKistune> Having taken medical leave from the base to better acquaint myself with the Kodo region, I ran into a boy called Inigo who was apparently a student at Sandalwood's university. He seems to have quite a few interesting ideas about pokemon research; I'll be keeping him in mind.
○<[PRP] Reconciliations with BlackFireKitsune> I don't understand how he could ever forgive me... but he has. He asks me to forgive him as well... but for what? Is this what family is...?
○<[PRP] Wash the Spider Out with TawnyAngel> Apparently the man I met on the Calamus Plains has been recruited to our cause. We spoke for a bit, and he convinced me to yield to that detestable wretch of a Spinarak that's been following me about. Ugh.
○<[PRP] Coffee Shop Rocket Recruitment with Kitomyx> It's easy to forget nowadays, but before I joined Team Rocket, I was a successful thief. This success was owed in part to the assistance of an informant by the name of Izaya Orihara. In recollection of his skills, I sought out and recruited the man; I feel he will be a valuable asset to our team.
○<[PRP] Curiouser and Curiouser with BlackPidgeot> Elite Agent Kunai assigned me a partner, something that I had been expecting since my promotion to Agent. What I was not expecting was that that partner would be exiled nobility from Grande Ile... Really, what are the odds?
○<[Raid] What Lies Beneath with others> Have I mentioned lately how much I hate caves?
○<[ORP] What Logic Concludes with others> Home again, home again, but with little time to relax... It's always nice to unwind after a mission, though, even if only a little.
○<[PRP ]The Hand that Feeds with Kitomyx> I returned from one of the most detestable missions in which I've ever had the displeasure to partake to find that my own recruit has landed himself not only a demotion but also time in the brig. Why on earth did I ever think this would be a good idea...
○<[PRP] On Behalf of the Impertinent with BlackPidgeot> I will not allow my own reputation to be damaged by the actions of another. Bearing this in mind, I confessed my involvement with Izaya to Seth, apologized for my lack of foresight, and requested to personally oversee his retraining. Hopefully a disaster like this won't happen again.
○<[PRP] Her Recruit's Keeper with Kitomyx> I released Izaya from the brig and explained the conditions surrounding his (limited) freedom. It may be frivolous to hold onto as much, but I have sincere hopes that he will be able to acclimate himself to the team. He's not stupid, and he's not suicidal; he has a lot of potential, and I hope he realizes the opportunity that's in front of him.
○<[PRP] Running to Relieve Stress with Kitomyx> I encountered a trainee by the name of Shawn who seemed... vaguely terrified of my Pikachu. He was a pleasant enough individual, though. I hope he's able to find his place in this team.
○<[PRP] I pity the Agent with TawnyAngel> I might have had a bit of an emotional outburst in front of Agent Frost... How mortifying. Perhaps I should do something about this stress before it gets too out of hand.
○<[PRP] Don't need no education with BlackFireKitsune> I received contact from Inigo requesting help. On meeting him, it was explained that his research had been discovered and he had been expelled from his university. Together we infiltrated the institution and retrieved his confiscated pokemon and research. He performed well on the impromptu mission, and I offered him a place amidst Rocket. I'm pleased to say he accepted.
○<[ORP] Tonight's Gonna be a Good Night with others> For some reason Izaya felt I would enjoy it if he deceived me into visiting a bar in Camphoreon. I did not.
○<[ORP] POST-RAID Beautiful Results (Rockets) with others> My partner and my recruit returned from a mission where I was completely unable to assist nor supervise either of them. The latter seemed to have managed well enough, but apparently Asch was injured...
○<[PRP] Lost Little Star with Kitomyx> Apparently I need to take more care with stress management... In a textbook case of the straw breaking the camel's back, my Jirachi lead me on a brief chase through the headquarters that would end with a graceless spell of unconsciousness. Izaya seemed ready to jump on this as a catalyst to preach to me about how I should be more willing to rely on him. What exactly is he trying to imply...?
○<[PRP] Mandatory Fun with Kitomyx> Medical staff mandated that I take a day off after my fainting spell. For some odd reason I was possessed by the idea to ask Izaya to accompany me into Camphoreon. I quickly wished I hadn't when we ran into one of the phantoms of my childhood.
○<[PRP] Fell Wind with An Original Username> I had really ought to be less proud of my name. Freely giving it very nearly blew my cover - or rather, blew a less important part of my cover. The swordsman, Guy, seemed understanding enough of my circumstances to not question them too far. More interesting, though, is the fact that so many Grande Ile natives are gathering here in Kodo. One would suspect it were a convention.
○<[ORP] Something Strange in the Neighborhood with others> Worst party ever. I specifically attended with the intent to keep an eye on my partner and recruit. Both wound up generally exploding at me for reasons I don't quite understand. Such a lovely evening.
○<[PRP] We Need to Talk with Kitomyx> At the masquerade, Izaya seemed steadfast in his assertion that our interests had nothing to with one another besides those of average coworkers. I took it upon myself to correct him in this. He can call me a coworker all he likes, and he can insist that his well-being has nothing to do with me, but to me, he is a friend. No matter how much he hates it.
○<[Raid] All Your Base with others> Aila would not wake again.

○ Met: Before The Magnificence of Darkness. First pokemon, obtained as a child.
○ Evolutions: Evolved into Ivysaur after Night for a Walk. Evolved into Venusaur after The Scenic Route.
○ Approximate level: Lv60-70

Fleur was my first pokemon. I met her shortly after my mother's death, sulking in the shade in one of Camphoreon's scorching summer afternoons. I suppose I pitied her, and so I brought her water. From this act of kindness, she attached herself to me. I had never had any interest in raising pokemon, but she was persistent no matter how I tried to turn her away. In the end our partnership proved beneficial; her abilities as a Bulbasaur were incredibly useful to my work.

She is... quite unique. There was a time when her graceless enthusiasm was a humiliation to me, and I did everything in my power to force her to heed my will against her. I can't understand why she suffered me, but she did. She has stayed by my side all this time, and she has helped me in so many ways. Fleur is truly my closest friend.


○ Met: During Night for a Walk. Caught in Ambergris with the assistance of Faleen.
○ Evolutions: Evolved into Mismagius before Volcano Villainy.
○ Approximate level: Lv55-65

Revenant is a proud thing, vain as the day is long. It was quite the trial convincing her to yield to my will, and our relationship can now be defined as one of mutual respect. In the beginning, I believe she resented me for taking her from her home in Ambergris. Our personalities clashed, and she would disobey me out of spite alone. Her joy was to frighten unsuspecting grunts and trainees and feed on their fear. I'm fortunate that she never targeted just the right individual, or I might have found myself in a great deal of trouble.

Revenant is one of my strongest and most trusted allies. She never lets me down, no matter what I ask of her - even if she's not thrilled about the commands I give.


○ Met: During The Scenic Route. Stolen en route to Sandalwood as a part of a training mission.
○ Evolutions: Evolved into Lairon after Desert Danger. Evolved into Aggron before What Lies Beneath.
○ Approximate level: Lv40-50

Acier is an unfortunate thing... He seemed to really love his previous trainer, and I could only convince him from running off by insisting that the man was dead. I fear this may have been a hefty blow against his confidence; he is pessimistic, fearful, and reluctant to battle. He does, however, have a gentle spirit - somewhat ironic, given his massive form. It was a long journey, but Acier seems to trust me now. That in itself is a huge relief as it means I can utilize his brute force on missions without worrying about whether or not he'll listen to me.

He looks out to the mountains from time to time. The poor thing must really miss his trainer.

○ Met: Before solo. Received as a courtesy to balance her team's strengths and weaknesses.
○ Evolutions: Evolved into Arcanine after What Lies Beneath.
○ Approximate level: Lv35-45

Charmant was a bit of a surprise to receive; I had heard of Pinkan pokemon and seen false representations of them in designer pokemon, but I had never actually seen one the genuine article until receiving her as a Growlithe. She is very serious about work, which is a pleasant change from many of my other teammates. Her large size makes her perhaps less versatile or convenient than some of the other pokemon at my command, but it certainly doesn't make her any less powerful or loyal. I feel that perhaps her loyalty draws from my own sense of duty, however, and she would likely prove much less compliant were I more wont to frivolous commands. Fortunately I am no such thing.


○ Met: During Wanderlust. Hatched from an egg created from Revenant and Agent Cal's Raichu.
○ Evolutions: Born as egg after Volcano Villainy. Hatched into Pichu after Wanderlust. Evolved into Pikachu after What Lies Beneath.
○ Approximate level: Lv20-30

Eclair is a peculiarity. I'm not sure what exactly inspired Cal to borrow Revenant to cross with her Raichu, but the result was that I came into possession of a Pichu's egg while incapacitated from the close encounter with the Ho-Oh. The egg hatched the evening I met Inigo, and it seems that the first encounter made Eclair very fond of both him and of cake. Fortunately she also seems to be at least marginally fond of me, and she's always eager to fulfill orders. Towards anyone else, however, she can only be called an ornery brat - a trait that she no doubt inherited from her Mismagius quasi-mother.

○ Met: During Sugar-Coated. Assigned for observation by the labs.
○ Evolutions: N/A (Non-evolving)
○ Approximate level: Lv15-25

Luciole can best be described as a child. Her ability to communicate in the human language loses its impressiveness by the fact that she can only do so haltingly and through words that she's already heard and learned the meanings of. She is, however, a very fast learner in the way of language; I'm often amazed by the speed with which she can pick things up and properly turn them back.

In terms of personality, Luciole even more like a child. Shy towards strangers but quick to trust and warm up and attaches to someone with the first kind word they offer her. She has a steadfast fear of the dark that makes it nearly impossible to keep her in her pokeball - it's also the cause of her name, 'luciole' meaning 'firefly' and alluding to the glow she puts off when she's in a dark place. I fear that as formidable as a legendary should be, Luciole may never have a disposition serious enough to utilize her abilities on missions. I'm trying to ingrain obedience, but it's difficult enough to keep her aware of basic dos and don'ts.

○ Evolutions: N/A (Not yet evolved)
○ Approximate level: Lv15-25

Riviere is quite the handful. He's young, and it shows in his behavior. He's quick to lose focus and play around during training, and his reluctance to act on commands makes me worry for the prospect of bringing him on missions. I requested him specifically because his illusion abilities seemed so useful, but at this rate I fear I'll never be able to make proper use of them. He's more interested in play and mischief than in completing the task at hand, and I find this highly worrying. Hopefully he'll improve over time.

(Halfway through the book, a hidden compartment cut into the pages is discovered. Whatever is contained inside must be of great importance, for the chamber has been fitted with a hinged cover and a lock. It seems the lock has been left undone, perhaps in a moment of passing carelessness. Two phrases have been etched into the cover's interior: The first reads, "You are nobility - dignified, intelligent, and beautiful beyond anyone's comprehension," and the second reads, "A man will kick you into the mud if you do not first cripple his legs." Contained within the small compartment is a number of lists, memos, newspaper clippings, and folded papers...)

...received a notice earlier in the day foreshadowing the theft, signed under the name Bouquet... ...with patterns similar to those of the string of jewel thefts that have occurred over the past few years, specifically the use of flowers and petals as a means of covering police fire and pursuit during escape... ...determined the target is female and anywhere between 13 and 24 years of age, but no suspects have yet been found. ...says that police activity during nighttime hours is at an all-time high for the area...

A collection of pictures resides in the back cover. Some are photographs, some snapshots clipped from newspapers, some even drawings... One is left only to presume that the owner of this assortment is somewhat of a narcissist.
