It felt as though Aila had yet to take a moment to catch her breath since returning to the base, though she knew this to be untrue. Nonetheless, she was physically and mentally exhausted, but there was something more she needed to do before turning in for the night. The elevator door slid open to the rows of elite offices, and the small agent disembarked and proceeded down the hall. She had taken the time to return her quarters and change into a clean uniform - the fabric irritated the mild burns at her hip, but she wanted to be presentable. She approached the door, moving to knock, and noticed that it was open, the room filled with an array of boxes. She frowned to herself. Executive Agent Seth. What a silly mistake... It seemed he was in the process of relocating, though, and so it was likely safe to assume he would show up soon. Would it be too conspicuous to wait for him to return? Or maybe she would be better off waiting until morning...

She wouldn't have to wait long actually, for down the hall the elevator opened again with a cheery 'ding', and a tall figure stepped out. Dressed in his new white Executives' uniform, he moved down the hall and toward his former office. His bangs clinging to his forehead with a bit of sweat, indicating that he had likely been moving heavy objects to the floor above.

However, there was a sight he didn't expect to see as Seth got closer to the office filled with nothing but already packed boxes and a couple chairs. The desk had been the first thing to be moved. He noticed the agent right away though, even if it had been a while since they'd spoken. Aila had been placed in Kunai's department after all.

Easily dwarfing the tiny Agent as he stepped up to her, the Executive looked down with a frown. "What do you want?" He asked with a gruff tone that suggested he wasn't in the best of moods, but was tolerant for the moment. He had been severely agitated, not only because of Izaya, but of the disappearance of TRP's group. Now that they had returned, he was coming down from that foul state.

As she suspected, he was indeed relocating. She considered offering her assistance but quickly thought better of it; it would have been comical to suggest she could transport the boxes any more efficiently than the man who was a foot and a half taller than her. Instead, she cut straight to her business, saluting briefly in acknowledgment of the superior officer before bowing her head.

"Sir, I'd like to apologize for the behavior of Trainee Iza-- mm. Nakura." She had noticed that he had registered a code name, but she was far from used to referring to him with it and it had taken a moment of thought to recall it. "I failed to thoroughly investigate his character before recruiting him, so I'm responsible for any misconduct he has displayed toward you or any other agent." Such as the 'blushing maiden' comment... Arceus, she hoped that was an exaggeration.

Immediately there was a flicker of rage in Seth's blue eyes at the very mention of the trainee's name. "You're the one that recruited him," came the inevitable snarl. Normally he would have known that already, but a lot had happened between now and then, and he hadn't had the opportunity to thoroughly research the punk that was currently rotting in the brig.

"That idiot is a waste of space and oxygen. I expected more out of you, Agent!" Clearly he was irritated and a touch disappointed in her. Although he technically didn't recruit her, he was the one that first saw and recognized her talent.

"Yes, sir." Her head remained bowed. She knew he would be displeased, but knowing that he had expectations for her - and that she had betrayed them - was more than just a little painful. She drew a breath mentally and straightened her posture, raising her gaze to meet his.

"I respectfully disagree," she said. "Before I was aware of Team Rocket, Nakura laid the foundations for my success as a freelance thief. His skill with collecting information is admirable, and I believe in his ability to benefit this organization. I will readily agree that he lacks characteristics key to acting as a competent agent, but he has expressed an earnest want to gain these characteristics." And, seeing as he was required to undergo basic training again, he would have plenty of opportunity to be reminded of what those characteristics were.

Seth snorted at her disagreement. "It doesn't matter how much talent he has if he can't follow basic expectations. If this sort of behavior continues, I wouldn't count on him sticking around much longer." And they both knew what that meant.

Eyes narrowed slightly as he continued. "Not to mention talents like that can be used to harm Team Rocket as well. If he doesn't start showing respect and loyalty for this organization, he'll be pegged as a liability."

"Agreed." Indeed, if she heard of him repeating similar behaviors after being demoted, detained, and warned, she could have no sympathy if an execution order were issued. He had all the warning in the world; if he chose not to act on it, it fell on his own neck.

Another mental breath. "I would like to request jurisdiction to supervise additional training during Nakura's time as a trainee and as a grunt. I will accept responsibility for any misconduct he exhibits while under my surveillance." Perhaps it was going a little far, setting her own head so close to the chopping block, but if Izaya really did have her best interests in mind, then it would serve as an incentive for him to behave. Beyond that, she did feel responsible for his behavior; through Izaya's actions, Aila felt as though she had personally slighted the executive - and action was the best path towards apology.

Seth didn't have to think long on that request. To have the agent who was responsible for recruiting Izaya, be in charge of his training, it made sense.

"Fine. I expect to be regularly updated on his progress or lack-there-of. He's not to be promoted until I give the approval. You may release him from the brig whenever you wish to start. Also, if you want to return his jacket to him, ask the guard on-duty for it."

"Understood. Thank you, sir." Her expression shifted in a way that suggested the beginnings of a smile; all things considered, she was satisfied with this result. Hopefully Izaya would be at least marginally compliant with the situation and would make the process as painless as possible. Not that he had much choice. "Then, by your leave," an accompanying salute indicated that she had addressed everything she had intended to and awaited to be dismissed - though she certainly wouldn't complain if Seth had anything else to discuss. It had been long enough since she had been able to speak with him, but she did catch him right in the middle of his chore and would understand if he just wanted her out of the way.

Unfortunately, since Aila wasn't really in his department, Seth had little to actually talk about with the agent. Plus he wasn't exactly the chatty type. Thus as she waited for dismissal, the executive simply waved an arm. "I have nothing more to say," and with that, he moved past her into his former office to retrieve some more stuff to move. Although, he was certainly interested in seeing how she handled this recruit of hers, and what progress he made, if any.
