Nikiana Name: Alaqua (Native American for ?Sweet Gum Tree? ^^? Niki is obsessed with her Native American background and since Koalas eat the leaves of gum trees...) Gender: Female Animal: Koala Hairstyle: Short, shaggy, kinda choppy. Two longer sections right in front of the ear, clipped back with little leaf shaped barettes. Hair Color: Grey-ish, darker than her fur, possibly tipped in lighter grey or white Skin color: Light gray color, usual koala fur hues Clothing: ^^? I was hoping to get her in maybe some little shortalls (overalls with shorts instead of pants)... since she's into climbing so much... Personality: Very quiet and shy. She clings to her mother obsessively, apparently getting it from her animal DNA. She is almost always found on Nikiana's back or stomach, most of the time sleeping. Niki has a hard time prying her off, trying to teach the child to walk and sleep in the hammock she rigged up for the girl. Alaqua hates being set on the ground and will not move once placed there. She will just lift her arms up, a silent demand to be picked up. If Niki ignores that, Alaqua starts to whine, then fuss, then all out scream until Niki picks her up again or Alaqua wears herself out. It's a battle to see if Niki will lose her hearing first or if Alaqua will actually learn to stay on the ground for more than a second. Markings: The ear tufts, I guess... nothing really... but the ear tufts are cute. ^.^ Oh! And the nose, of course. XD Eye color: Green... or brown... whichever you think looks better... *shrugs* Eye style: Whatever, don't really care Pose: Possibly sitting with her arms up, like she's demanding to be picked up? Nikiana  As asked, the form you sent was filled out by Ala. I had to help her a bit with spelling Aysel's name, she kept on asking how to spell 'Aye-Aye', her nickname for the catepillar child.
Anyways, I took her shopping the other day for some new clothing, seeing how she's about outgrown everything I have for her. I let her pick out her outfit (not sure if that's the brightest idea I've ever had) and she picked out a lot of green clothing. She now wears green capris or shorts with a slightly baggy t-shirt or tank top, tied with a green scarf like a sort of sash. The scarf's a bit long and trails a bit, giving her a sort of 'tail'. I'm not sure if that's because of her new sibling or not....
Also, Ala got gum stuck in her hair the other day, so I had to cut a lot of it off to get the gum out. And... well... I'm not a hairdresser... and Ala wouldn't sit still.... But it's not that choppy or uneven.... from a distance...
As it's a bit difficult for Ala to wear shoes, she now wears two pairs of green gloves, one on her hands and the other on her feet. The fingertips of the gloves were cut off so that she can still use her claws for climbing.
((The greens of her outfit can vary from dark to light... I don't really care which is which.))

Her hair has grown quite a bit since the last time you asked for a report. Which was lucky, considering how short it had been. Just recently, I finally convinced Ala to go to a hair salon to get an actual haircut. The ragged ends were becoming quite obvious. Luckily, she didn't put up too much of a fight, but was determined to get a certain hairstyle. I gave in, considering how it was actually kind of cute. Once again, Ala outgrew all of her clothes. I took her shopping again and she picked out a couple of pairs of jeans. But with all the climbing that she loves to do, these have quickly started wearing out a bit. I patched the knees (which were the worst) with some green fabric, but the ends are a bit frayed. As for tops, Alaqua likes to wear a loose green t-shirt with a darker green vest worn over it. She still hates shoes. I'm a bit worried about Ala, though, for she has been gaining a bit too much weight lately. Maybe it's just her koala DNA, for koalas aren't the skinnies of animals. But Ala is definately getting pudgier. The hairstyle she picked was like the one that Minagi Mikoto has in Mai HiME. Ref. pic here And... huzzah for the first D-corp child to get pudgy?? xd

Ala's also gained quite a bit of weight. I figure she's somewhere around a 12/14 women's pants size... if that helps... XD She wears guy's jeans as well, which she gets a bit too long so that they drag and fray at the edges of the legs. Poor Ala has no boobs. I don't know why she has no boobs. The girl listened well as I explained the basics of flight and was excited to try it out, almost as much as her dragon.

Very excited about learning to fly. Then again, most dragons usually are and are rather eager about it. He listened to the information and actually asked more questions that the girl did.

Alaqua had quite an attitude when the class first started. She even started to get up and leave early, but sat back down when I told her to. After a bit, she seemed to warm up a bit and started asking some questions.
