Niflhel Knight of Saturn : Journal
Location: G8
Action: Thanking Aquitania with a nod, greeting the new comers and Attacking the Hallow aiming to grab one of the Hallow's arms with his meteor hammer as he channels his magic.
Total: 7 + 10 = 17
HP: 150HP - 35HP = 115HP

There was a lot going on when everything calmed down and Niflhel had stopped watching what felt like boiled down to a wrestling match ending in a rather shocking conclusion with the large world eating creature resting on the shield. He looked very, very concerned. "I don't like this, everyone be careful. That shield won't hold it forever."

He watched how large the claws were and he looked towards Aquitania who was giving them a courage boost. The knight lightly tipped his hat to the child in thanks of the boost they were offering to everyone. He also watched all the new comers. There was a smirk from the knight before he looked over to Metis, "I guess Snowball's right we should do our best!"

He got a bit of run up and used the meteor hammer he was aiming to snag one of the little arms of the hallow if he could, he also started channeling his magic trying to focus on it hitting only the Calamitous Hollow; everyone was going through enough he did not want those in the square to be hit with the effects of his attack. Not after what Ekstrom had endured when they tried it out.

♱ Knight Weapon - Meteor Hammer
Niflhel channels his magic into his single headed meteor hammer and upon channeling his magic the area around him begins to change. The area around Niflhel in a 20-foot area shows the illusion of a dark misty world and causes those inside the area feel as if they have died and ended up in a strange underworld left to wander. The longer an enemy is trapped in this illusion, the colder they will get. Their muscles may tense, as if going into rigor mortis, and they may find it difficult to move. They may feel building aches and pains, or an extremely unpleasant hollowness, as though not only have their bodies died but also their spirit. This can be incredibly disorienting and painful. This attack can last up to 60 seconds but players can choose to have lasting hollowness or aches and pains. Length of chain is 6 foot.

Sailor Totoro, Chibi Senshi of raccoons (basic) : Journal
Location: G8
Action: Offering his magic as a buff split to others who are attacking in the square. (Helping Aquitania by Buffing ones she couldn't or adding additional buff to some characters.-- (+1 to everyone except Niflhel, Snowball, Totoro and Aquitania - those are who are left in the square))
Total: 9
HP: 100 HP - 35HP = 65HP

Chibi Totoro was trying not be overwhelmed by the amount of stuff happening, the spike had fallen and another chibi seemed to have been tasked with taking the spike to it's home. He didn't get to say anything but he wished them luck. There were more folks coming into the square and he looked around him.

Aquitania was helping buff the others who had offensive attacks. He nodded and grinned, "I think I can help with that!!" After all his magic made the creature more sensitive so that totally counted right?? He held up his hand as he called out "Dabbling Touch!!" He hoped to get the ones that Aquitania did not get in her buff area.

He had heard someone say the scale wouldn't fit inside their shop or front doors of their wonder, he couldn't help but turn to see who was talking about the scale. Looking at Spasskaya "What if you just get pieces of it and turn it into things?" He'd been thinking if they could get smaller shards of the scale he might could take a piece and have some sort of jewelry for his mom made.

Sailor Scout Attack: Dabbling Touch - When Sailor Totoro calls this attack he can choose one target. This target becomes sensitive to being touched. This attack causes them to be 25% more sensitive. So if they're given a normal punch, that might would cause them to say 'ow' this would hurt 25% more than it normally would. This attack also increases the sensitivity to magic that touches the target's skin - however, it doesn't increase the damage. There's also a small chance this attack could backfire on Tortoro and not work, or hit someone other than his intended target (including teammates).

Totoro can use this attack 3 times and the effect lasts for 15 seconds.

Snowball : Journal - x Sailor Form (Has Sailor unlocked)
Location: G8
Action: Shifting to Sailor Snowball. Attacking CH with his senshi attack.
Total: 1 +10 = 11
HP:150HP - 35HP = 115HP

Watching the large snake like creature, he could hear an eerie inorganic sound come from the creature itself. His nose wrinkled as it sounded like a mechanical whale that was really far away. As the field seemed to change again he felt himself become weightless and he found himself not thrilled about this. It was as if he was watching those astronauts on TV up in space -- apparently this space didn't understand how gravity worked either.

He watched the dark mirror senshi send a strike. It looked like a good hit too he grinned and nodded despite the weirdness with the gravity and all that they were making some progress it looked like. The scale that fell through shaking the platform made him cringe a little as the humanoid cat watched what happened around him. It looked as if Mirror space was trying to hold the Hallow pinned against the shield. That would help a lot he thought.... Not much after a bright light, and the full moon shown it was so close to them he felt like - much more so than what he'd seen from earth.

He turned his attention from the moon to the Hallow trying to escape. The moon was hurting it along with the arrow from the mirror senshi, the chaos of negaverse and from what he could tell the shield also hurt it. It was smaller but not enough in his opinion. He watched as the spike headed right to Mabella and suddenly they were off trying to get the spike where it needed to go.

Snowball's tail twitched, he'd had enough especially after the Hallow had dropped and seared them with lightning. That was all it took to convince snowball to swap from his humanoid form into his senshi form. He tapped the toe of this boot on the ground looking for a second, "You know what, I'm tired of this. I'm getting in on the fun!" He looked over to Aquitania who was offering a boost to those that were attacking. He appreciated that. He nodded to the child as he thanked her for the assistance.

"Snowflake Fluffy!" He called and then grinned at Realta when she said she was interested in what his magic does. He held up his hand with three magical snowflakes that were about the size of throwing stars. "I'll say it's a bit chilly if you ask me!" And he threw the three snowflakes at the Calamitous Hallow trying to hit it's underbelly which he hoped was where the classic weak point was.

"Also, Realta; might I say I do love your outfit. Very fitting for such an adventure as this!" He gave a wink to his fellow Muvian while it might not normally be the time for this; he wanted to get it out of the way in case something worse happened. Looking over to the new folk who were coming into the square he nodded to all of them.

"I think it's your time to shine!" There was a cheesy grin to the Saturn Knight and then he looked at Totoro and Metis adding, "You guys too! Lets do our best! - All of us!"

Snowflake Flurry! - In Snowball's hand three small energy snowflakes show up, and he can throw them as if they were throwing stars. When the stars hit their mark, they magically embed and cause a cold numbing sensation around the area that was struck until the magic fades. He can use this up to two times, and the stars only last for 10 seconds. There's no traces of the attack after the magic fades.

Mauvian Illyria
Location: F3
Action: Not attacking. Heeding Monoceros's signalling and stepping away from Ida's side to see what is needed.
Total: n/a
HP: 125 - 35 = 95hp

One moment the Herald of the Dark Star was still in the sky, and the next it had come crashing down onto the shield erected by the leader of the Vanguard. Illyria hissed loudly in discomfort as the electrical charge from the impact passed through her, causing her fur to stand up on its ends. Taking a hand the feline tried in vain to straighten out her appearance without much luck. Her gaze swept to all those that were willing to donate energy in order to try and keep the shield powered in order for the best shot at survival. The words that Lyndin had spoken about the machine not being the solution but only a tourniquet had her mind spinning out dangerous theories about what would happen if and when the machine stopped doing what needed to be done. How long could those that were providing energy keep it up? Illyria's gaze flicked over to Ida in concern before she made the attempt to relax. Ida would know when she couldn't give any more. Or at least Illyria hoped that was the case.

Taking a moment to herself the Mauvian watched as two of the Vanguard broke off from the clustered group in order to head off somewhere. She was tempted to follow but she'd given her word that she'd do her best in order to help defend. Staring at the creature that had brought everyone closer together, for a time in truce, had Illyria wrinkling her nose before a figure waving at her caught her attention. There was no sense of recognition in her gaze as she paused to lean forward to whisper a short, "be right back" for Ida to hear. Her curiosity was piqued and Illyria could only hope that often apt phrase that went "curiosity killed the cat" would not hold true for her.

Stepping out of the defensive position she'd been holding did Illyria approach the unknown senshi before listening to what it was that he seemed to want done to his phone. Illyria's gaze moved down to the device that Monoceros held out to her before she plucked it out of his hand and seated herself on the ground in order to study it further.

She didn't have time to take the inner components apart but was there a way she could fiddle within the coding of the application in order for it to act like the senshi wanted it too. In all honesty, she'd more than likely blocked out hearing the communique that had been broadcast by the Negaverse because it hadn't been important enough for her ears. Opening up the coding of the SOS Signal App did Illyria study the lines before she made a deletion in one line of code before flicking to another section and quickly making an addition there. Saving the updated version did Illyria hand Monoceros his phone back before she grimaced just a little.

"It should work as you desire it to now. I don't know if you want the app to go back to normal afterwards but if you choose you can keep the changes. If not any Mauvian would be able to reset it back to its original coding."

Commodore Lyndin
Location: F3
Action: Accepting all offered energy with silent gratitude ; working on the shield ; navigating Oberon's offer
Total: N/A
HP: N/A

The pressure that fell on Lyndin’s shoulders was not often seen, and it was rare that any of that weight seemed to carry heavy on him. None of this situation was ideal, he’d have rather not been trying to maintain a failing shield against a celestial predator.

But if he’d had to do it, he’d have rather done it in the company of those who at least understood. Even if Andronicus hadn’t gone, he might not have bitten back with a response; why waste his breath? She’d gone, but Vyn had, too. His presence was immediately missed, but Lyndin appreciated that he was trying to protect Lysanna. Cypher left, too, and maybe it was best that Vyn had backup.

He wanted them all back here, but he’d be happy as long as they were safe.

While Andronicus left, others remained, and though Lyndin had little focus to spare, he nodded appreciatively as they offered, and as the Vanguard rapidly collected energy to channel into the shield. There would be a better time to express his gratitude, but with so much on his shoulders now, his focus was clearly on maintaining the machine. He was aware of what was said, what was happening around him, but he didn’t lift his gaze.

He appreciated Aliez’ shield but knew he was grappling with his own emotions as well. Lyndin didn’t want to put him on the spot.

Lyndin didn’t ignore Oberon, but it was complicated in ways he wasn’t sure he could explain simply. Oberon had seen the way he was calibrating some of the devices, so perhaps it was obvious to him just how badly the proximity of the Calamitous Hollow was disrupting the natural flow of energy.

When Lyndin relented, it was only because he did need help, and he needed the Vanguardians to collect the offered energy before it was lost. Observable to few was the way it so rapidly evaporated out of the air, almost before the Source Stones could harness it.

The more they had collected, the less escaped in such a way.

Oberon did not have a Source Stone to aid in that way, and though he offered his energy–which Lyndin would again readily accept–he also said, “I spent a lot of time practicing with this, it’s very delicate. I don’t have time to teach you how to make the adjustments, but it’s struggling to adapt to the energy around it. It’s not attuned to function in a pocket dimension like this. What does your magic do? If it won’t cause damage, stand there,” he pointed, “and cast it. Please.

Eternal Sailor Oberon of Adventure

Oberon held his ground, even as his chest still ached from being shot. He didn’t dare to make sudden movements that might prompt any others of the Vanguard to decide he was still a threat. He didn’t want Caia getting hurt either, and made sure to place himself in front of the other Senshi as much as possible during the interaction.

Others were still giving energy. Good. He was relieved. He wasn’t transcended like they were, but he could still help. He was determined to help. Just like he’d helped every other time Caedus or Lyndin requested energy from them, he was there to help.

“My magic grants an energy boost,” he said simply. It was more than that, but they didn’t have time. He’d briefly talked to Lyndin before that he didn’t mind his energy being taken because he could replenish it easily enough with his own magic.

It was a temporary fix, just like the shield, so it seemed all the more suited to be used.

“But…” he paused as he held out his hand. It was still discolored and scarred with streaks of what resembled lightning under his gloves. The result of holding Caedus’ starseed. It was more to it, though. He’d discovered he could feel things easier. Not physically, but innately. The device Lyndin was using was incredibly complex, and Oberon doubted he’d ever be able to fully understand it.

In regards to energy, though? He felt as though he could focus on that. In his mind, he could bypass the mechanical gears and circuitry, and ensure that all of his magic was directed to the part of the device collecting and refining energy.

He knew that messing up meant potentially costing them the shield above them. His family was there. Everyone was fighting to protect the Earth. He couldn’t fail.

Oberon placed one hand over his other, as though to ensure his concentration, and cast his magic specifically on the energy collecting part of the device.

Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Adventure Beckons
Sailor Oberon calls out his magic and his target gets a large morale boost and soothes minor physical pain, although Oberon is sure it’s just the adrenaline kicking in. As well as becoming more adventurous, his magic may also influence his target to be more careless or rash, especially now that they are not as hindered by some of their physical pain. Lasts about thirty seconds and can use it three times.

Powered Passive
Due to the effects of Caedus’ starseed damaging Oberon’s hands, now when Oberon is around objects or places with strong latent auras, the energy from within the item or specific location manifests into feelings and possibly flashes of its history (with player permission). He will not be able to uncover the history of meta important objects or places, although if it is OOCly known it is meta significant, he may be able to sense something but not be able to decipher anything about it.

Both included as references, but use/adjustment of abilities for the meta were approved.

Sailor Scout Attack: Take it Slow
30 seconds, 3 uses

Thebe puts her arms out and casts a debuff to slow her targets down. All enemies within a ten foot range will embody the slowness of the unau and will move at 1/3rd their usual speed. The magic lasts for 30 seconds. Targets may move slightly faster if they are at risk of great harm (such as if someone is trying to deliver a killing blow) but otherwise they will have reduced speed. Their speech and thoughts will move as normal unless players want to slow that down as well.

Valhalla, Transcended Knight of Jupiter
    Page 8, Page 19, Page 32, Page 45
    Location: C8
Action: Making sure Ganymede doesn’t do anything she’ll regret. With Sessrumnir, Alastor, and Lucien and the others near Laurelite. Trying to negotiate with Laurelite. RIP
    Total: 5 + 10
    HP: 150 - 10 (Laurelite proximity damage) - 35 = 105

Valhalla was grateful that Sessrumnir and Alastor were faster than he was. He knew Ganymede would likely try to lash out in some way, which was why he didn’t dare let her hold Laurelite’s scythe. He didn’t blame her. His heart was still racing from the obvious threat on their family.

What did she know? Jet likely told her about Empyrean, but what else had they discovered? Were they going to find their home destroyed? Their children and mothers killed, or worse?

The thoughts were too heavy in his mind to immediately react. In many ways, part of him wanted to let Ganymede attack Laurelite for everything she’d done.

But he didn’t want lives to be lost, especially when they were all trying to fight off a true and immediate threat to their world.

He knew they should at least try to attack the serpent while it was still a threat, and since Laurelite hadn’t struck them down yet, Valhalla perhaps foolishly risked sending Kyrie up to attack the Calamitous Hollow. He recalled his summon as soon as she’d made her strike, not wanting to give Laurelite another chance to nearly destroy her.

“There’s a lot you could do for Earth that doesn’t include trying to kill or corrupt Senshi and Knights,” Valhalla frowned, his jaw still tight as he held his arm out as one more barrier between Laurelite and Ganymede.

“What’s going to happen when an even larger threat comes? You saw what we could accomplish together in a short amount of time. We don’t gather energy like the Negaverse, but we were able to do that,” he said, gesturing to the Calamitous Hollow where the beam of shimmering moonlight had struck it.

“I get that you might not need us if you face off against this exact threat again. I don’t doubt that you’ll learn from this and grow so you won’t need our help next time. But you know it’s more than just us versus you, now. No one truly knows what’s out there. Do you really want to risk not having enough power when Earth is threatened again, Laurelite? We gained access to the blueprints for the shields. We were able to find out this is not the only Calamitous Hollow. We uncovered the approximate timeline to expect for its arrival. We provided an attack nearly as powerful as your own, with much less experience. You still need us, even after all of this is over.”

Location: G8

Total: 10 + 5 (rank) + 1 (Boost from chibi Aquitania magic) + 24(Tikal magic)= 40
HP: 125hp - 35hp = 90hp

At least it seemed they were moving to another spot, one which he hoped might be a bit safer for them, while he was in awe over what chaos could do and the power that one female weilded it did not mean he wanted to be near it. It was impressive though....tantalizing even, because he was the sort to want power himself, but it wasn't something he would ever go reaching for and seeking. Not that power anyway. He might not like this whole knight thing, didn't like being social, but he still somehow had a feelign this knight thing was passed down from his mother and her family. He didn't know why but it was a gut feeling, something warm nesstled within him, and he wouldn't give it up even if chaos offered him that sort of power.

Shaking his head slowly he unwittingly led the way to a safer place, silent as usual, Novella kept his eyes on everything going on around them. He was shocked when the beast was further attacked, a shimmery mirror like chain holding onto it and a beam of moon light, if the beast wasn't already hurt it most certainly was now. But it seemed they were due for some damage as well as the shock that ran through him sent him to his knees from the shock and the pain, gritting his teeth as he kept silent. He'd felt pain before, far more times than he should have, and he knew how to keep silent as he ground his teeth and pressed a fist to his mouth to assist. That didn't mean it didn't hurt, it did, but he held fast and ignored how his heart seemed to skip a beat or two.

When he stood up, with the help of his walking stick, the squire was not at all pleased and turned defiant pale eyes onto the beast that lay half sprawled atop the sheild. It was making attempts to get up and he really wasn't interested in seeing it get up; it needed to stay down. It needed to not just stay down but it needed to die, it was a threat and he didn't fancy the idea of allowing it to remain alive...even if it were locked up. But he was one little knight who didn't have much. At the light display, and the whispered words, he nodded his head once to the female who had apparently used her magic on him, he didn't know what it did for a moment. Soon enough he did feel a need to act...a need to attack the beast and it seemed some senshi was doing more for them all, whether that was good or not he didn't know, but he was moving forward either way. Moving closer to the beast above them.

What he did next was pure instinct rather than thought, rather than himself, as he tapped the bottom of his walking stick to the ground. Using his magic for the first time since he'd become a squire and gained acess to some magic. He didn't know what it would do but he was somehow sure it would do something useful, he was just clueless as to what that something was, and he now stood waiting his eyes cast upward to see what would happen. The handle of the walking stick held firmly in both hands.

Squire: An ornate walking stick, with a gold embellished handle, has replaced the letter opener. For the magic when channeled it can last 35 seconds at most and will range ten feet around him. Tapping his walking stick on the ground will activate his magic, sending it rippling out in a “pool” of red magic that’ll leave every opponent within a ten foot radius of him feeling like they are drunk - as if they indulged in far too many drinks. Slurring speech, staggering, falling over, walking into things, and even vomiting. Anything you might experience when very drunk - it is possible here. People can, of course, walk out of his range and effects will taper off, at player discretion, but for those unable to leave the range of his attack thigns will get worse the longer they are there. Players can, of course, choose how to play this out.

Taking her cousins words into consideration, and knowing she had to have a reason behind it, Gorner wasn't worried about the Queen right now...not like her cousin. They had a common enemy and while the chaos had hurt, and it did leave her with a fear of facing such power on a battlefield, the knight was still regaining her own bearings from the pain she'd felt at the sudden flood of chaos from the Queen's attack. Breathing hard she nodded her head slowly, turning to look this way and that. "We go need to move."

And she did just that, grasping Caliban's hand as she pulled him along. "I know you're magic is physical and my own magic helps...with physical attacks." She whispered, looking to her cousin. "You might be able to do something with your magic...with it that high up we can't reach it...yet." She was sure that was only a temporary thing, it being so high up, and she would soon be proven right.

As they reached a new location, further from the Queen, thigns took a turn in their favor. It seemed each faction had it's own big surprise attack planned and it was a lot, it was also inspiring to watch. "Good." She whispered, smiling, though the happiness was short lived as the serpent hit the sheild and sent sparks raccing across the feild and pain filled her. Curling into her partners side as her grip on his hand tightened. Biting down on the pain, till her bottom lip bled, Gorner finally lifted her head and stared up at the sheild...and the serpent laying on it. "He's closer....we can reach it." Whispered words before she repeated herself, louder this time.

"Time for all three of us to attack it I think." Nodding her head, confirming her own words, she let the others hand go and made to summon her vase and pour out the energy she'd need. Once done she let the vase go, let it go back to where it came from, before launching herself at the beast to hit it, hoping to do something, she had to hope the boost would be enough.

Knight: With a larger vase and more magic Gorner can pour out more of her energy, which fills the vase. The pouring out of her magic will create something of a magical puddle right under her. While channeling her magic, for up to forty-five seconds, Gorner will hit harder when she strikes a person. Rather than a person stumbling back, as previous, this time when she hits a person she has a high chance of knocking a person right over.

Corrupt Human Mauvian Katya
Location: A6
Action: With Wadeite and attacking the beast with kitty laserbeam.
Total: 9 + 5 (rank) = 14
HP: 125hp - 35hp = 90hp

Looking over as she heard her name spoken, ears twitching, Katya noted the familiar lieutenant - Wadeite. He was family and noting he didn't look so good she hurried over towards him. Reaching out to hold onto him, to steady him if need be. "That attack." She whispered, already knowing that's why he wasn't looking so well. "This is why we train, why we learn to deal with and power through pain and other things." So they could keep going after something like this. The awe over the Queen's attack, and the chaos it brought to the feild, was a lot even for her and the shock from the beast as well. This wasn't going to be an easy battle, especially for the new people, those who had never been through a fight like this. She worried about her generals team...none of them had seen a battle like this. How would each of them fair? Lorcan was a general and had power but he'd never dealt with this, with a long drawn out battle, and the people around him getting hurt and the pain he had to be suffering as well. He had a corrupt at his side with some more experience though, who could help, but the others. This would be the first big battle for them all, all side from Benitoite, and she hoped they'd do well and realize this wasn't the first time something like this had happened, though not the same each large battle had some things in common with this one, and this had been going on for years - would go one for years to come.

Reaching up and ruffling the Lieutenants hair she smiled. "When this is over you'll rest." Because he would need it. And she would also, as a new round of pain ripped through her, the beast had taken more damage and was on top of the sheild now. It was vunerable and open to attack and Katya intended to attack it as well.

Letting the other go Katya took a few steps before using her laser beam, something she'd never really needed to do, she knew she always had it as a backup plan...if she ever got too deep into a situation, but she'd never really needed it. Now was the time when it was needed and she would take it, she would use it, even if it left her feeling a bit faint and drained. She would be fine, she had to do something, as she stood there the beam of energy having hopefully done something. "Let us find our way to victory tonight." She said smiling back to Wadeite.

Eternal Sailor Hugbell Transcendent Senshi of Comfort: Journal
Location: C10 to E5
Action: Following Lysanna, staying close and watching the field
Total: N/A
HP: 150HP - 35HP = 115HP

Hugbell watched the serpent like creature as it was hit multiple times and the fact that there as a searing shock of lightning was more than a jolt - if you would. The senshi of comfort listened to Lysanna and nodded filing away "Velencians, got it. And I'd love to meet more of you!" She said with a grinned and a nod.

There was a pause, as a voice came through the comm that Lysanna had and the senshi of comfort nodded following pace quickly. She was glad she was an eternal senshi as it gave her a boost at least.

"Perhaps I could help feed energy to the shield." She said soft pondering ways to be useful as she follow slowing when they reached a group of order, she had glanced as the chaos to see if there were familiar faces to worry about. She was sure it was fine, she was much more pro coexisting than others she knew. But she also knew not all of Chaos was interested in coexisting either.

She looked around, "So from here where do we head?" She asked.

Super Sailor Solaris

    post 1 2 3 4 5
    Location: I7
    Action: Dealing with... a problem..?
    HP: 125 - 35 - 50 + 1 [AoR] = 41 + 24 [Phaethon] = 65

The hand at her shoulder brought her further back into the moment, like lifting her head out of a rushing river. Sounds weren't as muted, she was more aware of the world beyond her, but she could still feel the pull and power of the water--the energy the spikes glowed with and conducted--holding tight to her. She'd slip back under soon enough, though she wasn't really disturbed by the concept as she felt she should be.

As Chariklo gave her the rundown, Solaris' brows furrowed, connecting the dots quickly enough. Laurelite was the head of the Negaverse, so that had been the source of… whatever the <********> had scalded her senses before even with the energy coursing around her. Lovely. As if the horrific Chaotic aura wasn't bad enough. Things to process later. She instead gave a small, breathless laugh. "The sixth spike… is on it's tail? Oh." Her disbelief was cut off abruptly, the state of the prison they'd been pulled to flashing into her mind. The immense damaged caused down one of the halls, inaccessible… the light out on the ground. "Aahaaaaa. So that was the damage there, wasn't it? When it got out, I guess? Alright. I can get how that worked." She wasn't even sure who she was speaking to, but the potential playout of events at least made her smile now that it made a rendition of sense.

She listened as some of the others began to speak up, some introducing, some just stating what they could do. Vaguely, she nodded towards the Jupiter Squire (Mystras) and d'If. "Useful. Stuff that can distract or kinda stun. Who knows--this thing gets smaller the more energy it uses up or loses, the effects of your magic might help add to that depletion by requiring it to use up more energy to combat it." Speculation only, of course, but she refused to see any magic here as useless or unusable. It all had a place--just needed to find the right application.

Solaris had been about to ask Ekstrom for a bit of that shielding, if she didn't mind… but another voice cut in, and she felt like she was lifting her head a bit further beyond the water than before. Blue eyes turned and focused on the blue-skinned woman, blue… damn near everything woman, really, and another laugh, more disbelief but relieved, left her in a huff. An Eternal at that. Immediately, pride swelled in her for her friend as she smiled to Dagon, even as it clashed with the sorrow of knowing what it must mean for the other woman to be standing here as Solaris remembered her. "Your help's always welcome. Thank you. Even if that thing doesn't know fear, you can make it regret coming here," she chirped, because while she really didn't know the extent of this thing's intelligence or sentience… surely everything could still dread that final defeat, no?

Any philosophical considerations on her part were lost to the current of energy as the air seemed to thicken, tighten, then suddenly, she felt almost like she was back on her world for a split second. But whatever the creature had been preparing, it was shattered as a rush of wind from somewhere close but behind her sliced through the air, and she stared, wide-eyed as an immense arrow and chain of… glass? Mirror shards? Whatever it was, it pierced the damn thing's underbelly, and she watched in awe as it held the damn thing in place. Long enough for more energy to strike it--white, brilliant, iridescent… she didn't need to look up to figure where that came from.

The Calamitous Hollow fell, mostly, and grateful as she was for that shield to not get crushed... Solaris gave another choked, strangled cry as electricity surged through her, burning her nerves and driving her down to her knees. Her hands remained locked around the spike's hilt, but in that moment, she felt every bit of the energy it'd taken from her. Her breaths were labored, pain ricocheted through her limbs and chest, to a point even expanding her lungs received protests from other systems. Whatever momentary clarity or rather, lack thereof, lost as she'd mostly been to the current of energy the spikes propelled along, felt like it'd been mostly ripped from her, and the icy chill of it left her dazed and hollow. Her heart still beat in time with the pulses, though. The connection wasn't lost. She just wasn't sure she had the power to withstand what the spike needed.

…hadn't she, once?

Centuries ago, hadn't she? She mourned that power over the years, as she weakened along with her world as it died, watching it slip and tear away from her bit by bit, rank by rank… she never used to doubt her magic. She knew how to control it. She knew how to best utilize it in fights. Oh, there was a lot Kyrie questioned, but her capabilities, her strength? Never. Not till the world began to crumble and fall, and she realized none of that power meant a single thing in the grand scheme of watching her people rip, stab, torture, and blow each other to bits.

Her grip on the spike tightened, the awkward fit of the hilt doing little to jar her from her memories, the flashes of battles and arguments and disasters and famine and destruction and--

A voice by her, though, was enough to drag her back. Sucking in a breath on a gasp, she blinked rapidly, looking up at Ekstrom, gaze unfocused a moment longer till she resettled. People were attacking the Calamitous Hollow. A forcefield surrounded their area. She was still kneeling on the ground, energy drained. Her breathing was still laboured, her body throbbed and ached, she felt sick, like something wanted to rip everything out of her. "...I don't know," she said softly, brows furrowing, because she didn't know. Energy continued to pulse through her in time with her heart, which hadn't even picked up during the replay of horrors she'd rather not remember. Scenes of a people, a world, grasping at every last hope, phantom or fleeting, in a desperate attempt to survive. Only to fail. Only to fall silent. Kyrie's worst nightmares were the ones that held only overwhelming, suffocating silence. Forcing her to relive the emptiness she'd existed in for so long.

Another figure (Phaethon) was near her, and she couldn't recall when they'd moved so close. Warmth spread over her, gentle and sweet. She smiled, and her breathing came easier. "Much better, thank you, Phaethon." He looked familiar--they'd crossed paths before, hadn't they? Even if they hadn't… he didn't look the best himself, and he'd used his healing magic on her. It wasn't a notion lost on Solaris. People were working together. They had to.

It wasn't so silent here, was it? Her gaze moved beyond, to the fighting, to people--White Moon, Negaverse, Vanguard… whoever the other group was, her mind was too torn to recall what people had said to her before--fighting a common enemy. To keep a world safe that wasn't silent. That hadn't failed. Something pulsed in her chest. A warmth.

She'd said over and over, she wouldn't see another world fall, hadn't she?

Solaris could still feel the energy racing through her from the spike, through her, around her… but there was something else beneath it. Warm. It pulsed. Small, but it grew when she focused on it. Over and over, the words replayed in her mind. I've seen enough of worlds dying. With each repetition, the warmth pulsed, waiting. Kyrie reached for it.

Then it lit into a fire.

Energy around her flared and sparked, and Solaris grit her teeth, grip on the spike sharpening as her muscles spasmed from the influx of energy beyond her and within her. Her skirts snapped in the waves, earrings twinkled and shimmered in wild light. The blue and orange waves fractured, couldn't seem to decide if they were opaque, or transparent. She could feel sturdy cloth beneath her knees, then suddenly just ground. Unstable, her energy, her magic, spasmed and fluctuated, and Solaris could feel it burning in her chest. Orange swirled and disintegrated around her arms, white and blue reshaping over her torso then collapsing back into its previous state. Gold curled and flowed around her limbs, only to melt back into accessories and charms. The burning in her chest felt like it was choking her, just as it was also trying to push her to her feet. Light flickered and flared through the unstable parts of herself, golden and warm, but scalding in its fluctuations.

The pain was… different from the energy the spike sent through her, a different source. She could see how material reformed and melted away on her hands, curled still around the hilt. Never losing her guise to Kyrie, but… not quite the typical look of Solaris...

Mauvian Cuán Oileán
Location: I7
Action: Responding to duty calling
Total: n/a
HP: still 65/100

From her perch atop Xibalba, Cuan had been watching everyone around her. She wasn’t able to fire off another beam just yet, so watching and keeping out of the way was about all that she could do.

At least until she felt the energy lying just underneath all of the fighting and chaos. Ears perking, the little lykoi’s head spun around, staring at everyone within their little group. Her eyes paused on the girl with the spike before going wide. She could see the energy fluctuating wildly and felt something within herself answer. Jumping down, she leapt for the girl, landing, perhaps less than gracefully, in front of her. Sitting down, she stared some more, chirping softly under her breath. The energy was different, wilder than when she’d overseen Saiph’s graduation. But she knew it. This was duty calling and insisting that something be done. She would have preferred it not happening in the midst of a massive battle with a world ending beast, but as it was, Cuan would make the best of things.

But when the girl’s form seemed to blur and her clothing melted and reformed, Cuan moved fast. Leaping for the senshi’s shoulder, she batted wildly at the delicately pointed ear.

“Your pen, girl!” she demanded in a thin, urgent voice. “Summon it, quickly!”

Oh, this was a bad place and time for the girl’s starseed to pull this, but maybe things worked differently for those not born on Earth. How could she know?

“Hurry,” she said, her voice taking on a coaxing note. “I don’t have to tell you to be brave, you’re already that.”

Sailor Byakko Senshi of the West (basic): Journal
Location: C3
Action:Using her attack.
Total: 3
HP: 100 HP - 35HP = 65HP

Byakko glanced over at Coco who was.... trying to do something with what looked like the calling card Almadel had given them. She wasn't sure the merchant would come to a place like this but. If she wanted to try the senshi of the west rolled her shoulders and adjusted her gloves.

"Alright Snakey lets see how you like this!" She grinned and posed calling her attack "Tiger stalks from the west!!!" She was aiming for the underbelly hoping to make a small dent.

Tiger Stalks from the West - Byakko summons her attack and a soft crisp wind starts to blow from the west, billowing up small sized leaves around her. Slowly the wind starts to kick up and Byakko throws her arms forward hands held out like claws and the wind whips in the direction towards her target causing the leaves to hit them. The leaves can leave up to really shallow cuts, much like paper cuts.

For this attack Byakko can only hit one person. The attack lasts about 30 seconds and causes light damage. She can use it twice per battle.

Super Sailor Tea Senshi of Mice : Journal
Location: C3
Action: Healing (Healing herself, Byakko, Coco, Arsenolite and Vesuvianite + 3 hp each)
Total: 10 + 5 = 15
HP: 125HP - 35HP = 90HP

Tea watched Coco, maybe she would have success contacting the merchant but the senshi of mice wasn't sure about that. She watched as her sister summoned up her attack and threw it at the underbelly of the beat. There was a pause and she decided to attempt to heal folks around her. She wasn't sure how many she could heal in the square but she'd try.

"Mice's Healing Medicine!!" Tea noticed they were joined by a Captain and a General which slightly put her on edge but they were all working towards a common goal. She hoped that they all would just be chill with each other for now.

Mice's Healing Medicine - Sailor Tea calls her attack and a blind mouse made of energy appears. The mouse has offered its sight in exchange for healing medicine, and Tea can summon it for aid. The ethereal mouse will scurry towards up to two targets and can immediately heal all minor and moderate injuries, and can give targets a small burst of energy to get back on their feet. It cannot heal severe injuries. The healing will take thirty seconds and can be used two times.
