Hated Food: Beans of any and every type. Corn. Peas. Brussel sprouts. Chickpeas, and anything made from chickpeas. Cottage cheese. Avocado is overrated and tastes like nothing. Seafood. Hotdogs. Plain milk. Milk and meat substitutes. He’s forever grateful he doesn't currently have any known allergies or dietary restrictions.

Hobbies:

Nail Art – Énna began painting his nails as an attempt to stop himself from nervously biting at them. In the process, he developed an appreciation for all the fun colors and designs one can apply to their nails. He doesn’t go to the extent of wearing acrylics, but he has a sizable collection of polishes and tools to create his own designs. He sports a fresh look every week or so, often with some sort of design relevant to the time of year (sparkling snowflakes in the winter, flowers in the spring, an ocean-like effect in the summer, etc.).

Dance – Énna began dancing as a toddler, taking discounted classes at the community center. Initially it was just something fun for him to do that got him out of the house, an activity that didn’t seem like it would be dangerous to the overprotective adults in his life. Énna didn’t mind it; he even had fun. He began with ballet and tap classes, but eventually found the most enjoyment in contemporary dance. Though few would deny his talent for it, Énna doesn’t know that he’d want to make a career out of it.

Amateur Photography – A child model during his younger years, Énna hasn’t done any modeling work since he reached double digits. He finds the entire concept embarrassing now. Instead, he prefers doing his own camera work, capturing the world around him through his phone, and experimenting with selfies he’s too self-conscious to post on social media. Énna also has a fondness for polaroid cameras. The quality isn’t as great, but he likes the photos for the purposes of journaling and scrapbooking.

Journaling – With few friends and a fractured family, Énna has learned to keep most of his thoughts and feelings to himself. He compensates by journaling, writing about his day to day life or his hopes for the future. It isn’t an everyday occurrence, but still something he relies on to cope with the stresses of school. Some entries might be short, brief notes and reminders. Others might be lengthy complaints. He includes pictures when he wants to highlight a particular memory.

Virtues:

Loyal – Perhaps because he hasn’t had many true friends in his life, Énna ensures that he is loyal to the ones he manages to make. He is steadfast and trustworthy, always there to lend a helping hand when a friend finds themselves in a moment of need, even in situations he doesn’t particularly enjoy. He might not be the best at offering comfort or encouragement, but he tries to do what he can, enough to show that he genuinely cares. Énna doesn’t have a large social circle and isn’t the type to spread gossip anyway, so friends can be sure that secrets are safe with him.

Independent – Growing up in a broken family meant Énna learned to take care of himself at an early age. He can get by on his own in almost any situation, proving himself to be naturally self-reliant. He would rather take care of a problem on his own and find a solution by himself than burden anyone else. This self-sufficiency gives him an air of maturity that others his age might not be as adept at projecting.

Tenacious – Though his physical appearance might cause others to assume a certain weakness on his part, Énna is nothing if not resilient. When he’s knocked down, or finds himself in an unfavorable position, he generally manages to pull himself back up. Even when upset, he isn’t the type to shy away from a problem; he meets them head on. Énna might occasionally take some time to consider an issue, but he isn’t one to back down or run away — not unless it’s been sufficiently proven that there’s no hope for him.

Flaws:

Emotional – Énna rarely intends to be demonstrative about his feelings, but he isn’t always the best at controlling them. Negative emotions in particular have a way of breaking through his careful control. If he’s sad, or angry, or jealous, chances are someone is going to know about it. It leaks out in his expressions, in his voice, in his petulant behaviors. He’s been known to take things out on other people, even if unintentionally. Sometimes an apology is all it takes to smooth things over, but there have been times when others aren’t so forgiving.

Abrasive – As a consequence of youth and his emotional nature, Énna doesn’t always think things through and sometimes says things he doesn’t mean, or behaves in a way that can easily be misinterpreted. More often than not during serious or tense situations, Énna doesn’t have the words to say what he wants to say, so he says the closest thing he can think of, which doesn’t always translate well. He can seem crabby and mean, and frequently irritated. One can only hope he grows out of it as he ages.

Reckless – A steadfast and persistent nature can cause Énna to grow a bit careless. He may become impatient to see something done, or, believing himself perfectly capable of taking care of it, jump into a situation before giving it adequate thought. He certainly doesn’t go looking for danger, but he isn’t one to shy away from it when it happens to find him. As a result, Énna risks getting himself in over his head, and dragging other people along for the ride.

47. A workaholic, Nic works as a mechanic during the week and a bartender on weekends, doing odd jobs for friends, family, neighbors, and acquaintances in between. Big, burly, and intimidating, Nic's gruff demeanor hides a big heart. Énna is the center of his universe. Nic works hard for the finances to send Énna to the best schools, fund his hobbies, and offer him as much of an untroubled life as he’s able to create for him on his own. Black hair, green eyes.

Would be 45. Deceased at age 37, when Énna was 9. Though Cameron initially led a life of means, he became estranged from his family and made a modest living with Nic, working as a teacher at Knightside. In the spring of 2018, Cameron went missing after going for a jog one evening. He was found unconscious along a trail at a local park and spent some time in the hospital under a mysterious coma before ultimately passing away. Champagne blond, brown eyes.

All Énna knows about her is that she was a college student when she donated the egg that became him. His parents wanted a kid with no attachments to the donor, and the donor wanted money but no responsibility to any kids. It seemed like a good match. Énna occasionally wonders if there are any other kids out there who share the same donor, but otherwise he doesn't think about her much.
