--> The exotic appearance of the Egyptian Mau is only the beginning of the magic of the breed. Owners of the Egyptian Mau find them unique in many ways in addition to their striking spotted coat patterns.

--> These cats display exceptional intelligence and exhibit a fierce loyalty to their owners.

--> Even though domesticated, several characteristics of their early ancestors have been retained. These include the Cheetah gait and a loose skin flap that extends from flank to hind leg, which allows the Mau remarkable freedom and agility in twisting and jumping.

--> Like all cats, they are individuals, one and all, but typical for the breed they tend to take it to extremes. Friendly to everyone in the family, they tend to be cautious with strangers and select their “Special Person.”

--> On their own territory, they tend to be extremely outgoing with absolutely no fear and a ton of curiosity. They make wonderful companions.

--> The Egyptian Maus are interactive cats. They dote on their humans and expect to be an integral part of the family. Some people call them the gentle cousins of the Abyssinian.

--> While they certainly aren’t hyper, legend has it that they have some of the fastest reflexes ever seen in a feline.

--> They are shoulder riders, refrigerator vultures, and furry alarm clocks but can definitely take a confident hand when handling. Most Egyptian Maus have very distinct ideas about who can handle them and when. They are sensitive, people-oriented cats, but they like things on their terms and dote on their people.

--> Maus have a totally unique head with the large, expressive gooseberry green eyes and beautiful medium to large broad-based ears set so that there is ample width between.

--> The word Mau meant cat or sun in Ancient Egypt, and there is no question that the Egyptians revered the cat both as a god and as a treasure.

--> Inherent to the Egyptian Mau is the word “natural.” The Egyptian Mau is the only naturally spotted breed of domestic cat. As such, these cats are limited to the colors that occurred naturally – silver, bronze, smoke, and black – as well as the dilute versions of these colors – blue silver, blue spotted, blue smoke, and blue. Although the black and dilute Maus are not eligible for showing, they make excellent pets, as do all other Maus.

Enhancements:

Mauvian Claws: Grinding Sand

While Mauvian claws alone are generally stronger than cat claws, this enhancement gives them a little extra to fight with. All Mauvians who have unlocked this will get a small magical effect that activates when their claws come in contact with a target; the effects can last for ten seconds if the Mauvian is in their natural form or fifteen seconds if the Mauvian is in their humanoid or Senshi form. They cannot use this enhancement if they are in a civilian glamour. This ability activates after every scratch and has no max number of uses per battle. The target feels as if the injury is ground with sand granules.

Cat Form Powers And Abilities:

Awakenings:Awaken senshi This is a Guardian Cat’s primary job. During an awakening they will sense an unAwakened civilian’s starseed and approach them. They can sense a Senshi’s Name and Sphere and are capable of producing a Henshin Pen that allows the civilian to awaken. They can also produce a cell phone as well as upgrade it! Mauvians can only sense Senshi that are unAwakened; if a Senshi is powered down and in civilian form, the Mauvian will not be able to tell that they have a powered form
.
Upgrades: Upgrade Senshi who are ready for more power; to do this they simply upgrade the Henshin pen and focus on the Senshi’s starseed to help them unlock more strength.

Access Headquarters: Not only can Darius enter Order Mauvian Headquarters, but he has his own personal workroom.

Dampen Energy Signatures: Dampen the energy signature of large groups or conceal the energy signature of up to six Order characters at once. More Guardian Cats will be needed to conceal more power.

Senshi or Senshi Court Bonding: Darius is Bonded with Drew Bones || Eternal Sailor Etamin of Hieroglyphics

Laser Beam Attack: Shoot a laser out of their forehead star! This expends a large amount of a Guardian Cat’s energy but is capable of stunning a target rather than doing any sort of damage. It can stun the limbs of a human or stun a normal youma entirely. Very weak level youma may be temporarily dusted when hit with this beam, but it is very unusual.

Trinket Creation: Create or summon small trinkets to give away. These need plot approval, but all cats can give away one magical item (such as hats, glasses, rings) ; these items do not have any magical properties and are meant to be gifts. There is typically a limit to how many of these items a Mauvian can create or summon in any given time period. This item needs to be approved by staff!

App Creation: Update or create new phone apps; Guardian Cats can work with Senshi or by themselves to release new apps for use on Senshi Phones. New apps or features must have plot approval to be introduced!

Gadget Creation: Create small gadgets or electronics that have some ability or serve some purpose. Cats are naturally technologically inclined and, with plot approval, can assist in making personal items, one time use items, or just assist in plots that require technology in any aspect.

Humanoid Form Powers And Abilities:

Humanoid Form: They can assume a powered humanoid form for a temporary time period; this expends a decent amount of energy so is limited to around two hours a day while on Earth. It is not encouraged for Mauvians to attempt to impersonate a human while in this form; even if they can conceal their ears and tail, they still give off a large energy signature. While they have a maximum of two hours a day in Destiny City, they can switch between forms as often as need be, as long as they aren't in their Humanoid form for longer than two hours per day. It does not cost energy to switch between forms unless done multiple times within a short time frame. In some locations, such as the Moon (Order) or Negaspace (Chaos), a Guardian Cat’s energy would not drain while they were in their humanoid form. Because of the immense energy of their reflective factions, it would serve as a battery for them, and they could remain in their Humanoid form for as long as they like.

Humanoid Combat: They can physically engage in combat to better defend themselves; they do not have any distinctive battle advantage and have strength, speed and durability akin to a normal human. Guardian Cats have human-like fingernails while in this form, but at will, they can extend their nails an additional 1.5 inches. Their fingernails taper into points, mimicking the claws they have while in their cat form. These nails are incredibly durable and are capable of doing slashing damage if an enemy gets too close.

Civilian Glamour: Darius has created a small, customizable keychain sized transformation pen following a blueprint on the Order Mauvian Database that allows him to obtain a human civilian glamour for up to three hours a day. Pressing the button at the top of the pen will allow him to switch between Civilian and Mauvian form and costs no energy to do so. However, he will revert to his Mauvian form after he has used the glamour for one hour. During this time, he will appear as a human and will have no access to any magical abilities whatsoever; he has no energy signature and cannot sense energy signatures or awaken or upgrade Senshi. He can customize his civilian attire as often as they want, however he will always appear as the same human in this glamour. He will not be identifiable as a Mauvian even though he may one day resemble his future humanoid form. Darius's Keychain Transformation Pen has the icon of a silver reed or feather on it, resembling the symbol of Sailor Etamin his Bonded Senshi on it.
Furthermore, he takes the form of an eight-year-old boy, with strong Egyptian roots, has dreadlocks to his chin, and would perfectly resemble an eight-year-old Drew Bones/Sailor Etamin - except that he has chocolate brown eyes. His usual outfit of choice is (unless otherwise stated) a white t-shirt, blue jeans and bare feet.

Darius Ammon was a Stasis Pod Mauvian. After he escaped the pod crash, he was living like a normal house cat on the streets with no memory of who or what he was, until he Awakened in December 2020. He does not know he was in a Stasis Pod.

Backstory:

Mauvian Darius Ammun was born to Mauvian Parents Aker Ammun and Basket Ammun, sometime during the Silver Millennium. When he was very young, maybe even before he was born, Darius' parents were assigned to the previous Court of Ra. Darius enjoyed being an only kitten for a while. This would change when his parents learned that the Sailor Guardian of Etamin was ready to be Awakened. While they worked, he snuck off to watch the royal coronation of young Prince Hapii Merii to Crown Prince. Darius had a great place to watch from, in the eaves. Hapii Merii seemed to be about his own, with a family (including a father -the Pharaoh) and a world who cared deeply for him. Then, just as they were lowering the Crown Prince/Princess' Crown onto his head, the doors to the Hall burst open, leaving everyone including Darius agape with horror. The Librarian-Priests led by Darius's own parents, almost leaped into the Hall. "Hold everything!" The group called. Pharaoh Amendehart IV, Prince Hapii Merii's father, was furious. "What is the meaning of this?" He demanded.

It was Aker, Darius' father who spoke. "We have discovered where Sailor Etamin is hidden!" He exclaimed. This did not help the Pharaoh's mood one bit. "Can this not wait?" He growled. Dairus understood what he was thinking, just until after the coronation.

"Unfortunately, no." Basket, Darius' mother said dryly. "Not according to your own laws." The Pharaoh's jaw tightened. "Whatever do you mean?"

It was the Chief Librarian-Priest (who led the Librarians in the absence of the Sailor Guardian) who spoke darkly now. "It is Prince Hapii Merii."

There was an outpouring of shock and horror. A dark look crossed the Pharaoh's face, as well his wife's face as though they had just lost a child.

Hapii Merii looked at his father in confusion. "Father? What are they talking about?"

The Pharaoh turned away from him weeping silently. "Child, you are not my son, Hapii Merii. My son Hapii Merii is dead. You are Sailor Etamin, the Sailor Guardian and protector of our World of Etamin." Then he and his wife led their remaining children out of the Hall into the Royal Quarters.

A still very confused Hapii Merii was led to the Great Library of Etamin (the traditional headquarters of Sailor Etamin and his troops - the Librarians,), where, for the rest of that day, every vestige of his former life was removed and burned. He was no longer to be known as Hapii Merii or the Prince. An announcement went throughout the world that day, that they would spend the day mourning the loss of Prince Hapii Merii - who had apparently died of a very rare disease that only attacked and killed one member of the population every few generations. On the other hand, tomorrow they would celebrate the Awakening of their Sailor Guardian.

Darius watched the boy from afar, staying out of trouble like his parents told him to. However, he seemed to see a sight that no one else seemed to. He was lonely, confused, and scared boy. Hapii didn't understand what was going on. He had just lost everything - his name, his family, his home. They were already training him to be a new person. Darius knew that if that was him, he'd probably start screaming. The boy went to bed early that night from exhaustion and didn't even eat dinner. The adults were mildly worried but decided that he'd adapt.

Darius decided that it was time he too action. He snuck in the boy's room, climbed up on the boy's bed and snuggled with him. They talked most of the night and became good friends. In the morning, Hapii announced that he had found a brother in him so that Darius be allowed to stay close to him. Aker and Basket who it turned out had been extremely worried about Hapii and had actually known that Darius spent the night talking with Hapii, not only approved, decided to unofficially adopt Hapii... as their son? kitten? So, Darius and Hapii became brothers.

In time, others joined the family. There was Do'zan or Sailor Pasithee, Ja or Sailor Leaena (and his Senshi Squad - which included their Bonds -Cheetahs Bonded to their Human Counterparts (amazing, the Mauvians seemed to get on well with them)), Ausar or Sailor Sekhmet and several others. All had sad tales, and became good, strong brothers and sisters to Darius in time, but he was always the closest with Hapii or Etamin.

Darius, over the years, did at times notice some of his brothers and sisters, including Hapii, Do'zan and a little bit with Ja ordering the others around, such as Ausar, when Aker and Basket weren't around. Their excuses were that they were so high up in Command on their respective Worlds and Ausar and some of the others were just Warriors. Darius didn't say anything, because he felt their familial pain - each had some kind of pain that they had to put up with their biological families every day and this was how they released it. Though, he knew it was bad, he didn't know what to do, he was no counselor - so he did nothing.

There came a time when the family was mainly split up on their various planets for Senshi tasks. Etamin (Hapii) and Pasithee (Do'zan) were now 15, Leaena (Ja) was 12, Sekhmet (Ausar) was about 19. And the others were their various ages. Preteens and Teens! (One was almost an adult!) Darius was still physically and mentally an 8-year-old by Human Standards, so he was with his parents.

He wasn't sure what had happened. He was studying with his mother when the Emergency Gongs were struck. His mother began rushing him to the hiding area. Already, the ground was shaking. His father ran into their apartment in Humanoid form, a dark look upon his face. His mother hid Darius within the shelter, and then changed to Humanoid form to speak to his father. There were hushed tones, the sound of a grim event in his father's voice, and a sound of horror in his mother's. He couldn't understand what they were saying until at last, his mother exclaimed, "We have to get Darius off the planet!" "Agreed!" His father replied.

His mother picked him up in her Humanoid Arms out of the shelter, but he struggled. She held him firm. "Stop struggling Darius, we're trying to get you to safety." Darius was miserable, but he stopped struggling. The only way he could get out of this now was to take his Humanoid form, which he hadn't earned yet. "What about Hapii?" He cried. His parents' Humanoid faces tightened, but they said nothing.

As they rushed down the path that Darius knew led to the Space Capsule Pavilion (one of the few pieces of Advanced Technology on the planet), the attacks grew closer, destroying almost everything in sight. He could hear the sounds of Librarians, Priests and Priestesses, the Leaenarian Senshi Squad, and many others, as well as many of the Senshi fighting, people screaming and somehow... a deep hollow laugh that sounded somehow familiar.

He knew no more after that, as his parents had reached the Pavilion. To their dismay, all but one had already been destroyed, in the battle. They quickly placed a protesting and struggling Darius in the capsule. They closed the lid and launched the Capsule. He knew no more for 1000 years.

Darius's capsule found its way to Earth a thousand years later, during the present-day battle between millions of Senshi, Knights, Mauvians and the Negaverse. It landed somewhere hidden from human eyes and released him, still a kitten. The long sleep drifting through the vast distances of space had wiped his mind of all memories; in fact, it did more than that - it made him feral - or at least just like a regular house cat. Even his star vanished as did his ornamental decorations.

From there he wandered the streets like a homeless street cat, hunting his food and sometimes begging, or even scavenging (yucky!)

Then one day, he found himself in a back-alley, foraging in an overturned trash can for food. Some human teenagers came into the alleyway, laughing and jeering at something they had just done. One of them saw Darius out of the corner of his eye and then they were upon him; the only word for it cannot be said here.

A voice rang out as Darius was losing consciousness. The voice and language were unfamiliar to him, but there was a familiar feeling to them - a single word or name came to his mind - Hapii? He passed out. He drifted in and out for along time. He saw a human man with a white coat looking over him. He didn't understand the words, but the man's voice spoke a grim feeling. Death. Darius was Semi-Awakened, but only enough to not feel like going on. A fifteen-year Human boy was constantly there, trying to feed him, give water to drink. He did not know the boy - but he sensed something familiar, weakly he thought, Hapii... is that ... you?

At one point another Cat came to help. This Cat could talk. The new Cat was horrified when he saw Darius - the mess he was in, thought the Human Boy had done it. The boy apparently explained he hadn't and was trying to help. The Cat helped as well.

Darius was drifting in and out for several years, and over that time he saw some of the boy's family. But he would only take food, drink or medicine from the boy - he reminded of someone he used to know - but couldn't remember - who was this Hapii? In time, he started to trust, the boy's twin sister a little too - to take food, water and medication. Their younger sister, he wouldn't let feed him etc., but he would let her pet him without jerking away.

His wounds healed, but he still didn't come to full consciousness. In time it was diagnosed to be an emotional, spiritual thing - when the teenagers had ... done what they did to him... they broke his spirit, and he no longer wanted to live. However, the boy stayed by his side and didn't give up. And one day, he powered up in front of him as Super Sailor Etamin to protect -he probably didn't remember it. And something changed inside of Darius. He did not know how, but he knew this boy from long ago. A friend, true friend, a bonded friend. He slept for the next few days straight, and as he did, physical and mental changes took place in him. First of all, he gained a little weight - so he looked like a proper kitten. His Golden Star appeared once more on his forehead. His mind cleared, and he was able to understand English.

He now knew that the Boy who had saved him was now growing into a man and his name was Andrew 'Drew' Bones, aka Sailor Etamin, coming close to becoming Eternal. Drew's twin sister was Xandria Nicole 'Dria' Bones, aka Sailor Pasithee, a Super, and their younger sister was Chibi Sailor Leaena, who had just become Super herself. He vaguely remembered what had happened before the last few nights, but he knew enough to know that Drew had saved his life and cared for him deeply. Darius didn't remember his parents, but as Drew was close to an adult and he obviously cared about Darius deeply (and Darius cared about him deeply as well) Darius decided that Drew would be his Daddy.

Etamin, Pasithee, Leaena and Darius formed a causal group with some others; all of them seemed familiar.

Drew finished High School and Darius had cause to celebrate, then and when he was elevated to Eternal, and then became a police officer.

Dari, as Darius is often called now, has managed to create his communicator and his Human Glamour Keychain (which allows him to take the form of an eight-year-old Human boy that looks exactly like Drew would have at that age, except for his large, round, chocolate-brown eyes.

Drew recently spent a lot of time on his Homeworld, but did not let anyone come with him, not even Dari. When he wasn't on his Homeworld, he was either at work as a Police Officer or asleep. Dari like the others, was very worried about him. Now he's come to speak to them about the memories he's gained - and though they are good so far (mostly), he has warned that the ending is ugly. And he's introduced an 'old friend', Ausar Siang, Sailor Sekhmet, from the Court of Ra in the past - who supposedly never died ... AND is just humanoid (not even human - ok yes Darius is not humanoid most of the time) and has golden skin, golden eyes, sparkly golden lips, reddish, mask-like marks around his eyes and we won't go into those stones.

It was revealed that Drew Remembered destroying Etamin (world), as well as most of the family, including Dari's parents. Dari took it hard, but in the end forgave Drew, because he had a Memory of his parents' last moments, asking him to forgive Etamin, in this life or the next, for he knew not what he was doing. In which, Etamin (world), granted Dari an Enhancement Attack, which he used for the first time, in a lonely battle for a human child about his age, which he was unable to call for help. He freed the child, however the attack left him unconscious and with bruised ribs.
