For some strange reason, Darius found himself by the train tracks on this warm day. He had a nice day of playing, while Drew, his bonded Senshi was working. But Dari had just been playing around, chasing bugs and the like and suddenly found himself outside the city near the train tracks - why was he here? He didn't even like the loud noisy things, and Drew had warned him to stay far away from them. He turned tail and started to leave when a large one suddenly passed by, effectively blocking his exit.

He was so scared, he nearly jumped out of his skin yowled.

Then he curled up in a ball and started weeping. He was so paralyzed with fear, that he didn't think to use his brand-new communicator. Instead, he cried pitiably out for his bonded senshi, who as he already knew in the back his mind - was in civilian mode, working his police officer job, and was on the other side of the city. "Drew! Dreeeeew! Help!" He cried.

Dari who was just a silverly little Kitten, slowly came out of his ball... "Is the big mechanical monster gone?" He shivered, noticing that the train had gone by. "Daddy- Drew calls them trains." It was evident that he had been crying, by the state of his eyes. His eyes went to the calico. "I was playing by myself, trying to catch bugs, while my bonded was at civilian work. I found myself out here by the tracks...these things scare me, and Drew warned me not to go near them. I turned to leave... and ... and one suddenly stormed by. It startled me real bad."

He sat up and curled his tail around his paws like he always did when he was upset, but he seemed to be calmer now. "Um, hi," he squeaked. Sorry you had to see that. I'm Dari, well Darius Ammun. It's.. it's a pleasure to. uh meet you." He spoke shakily.

Dari frowned. Hunt buckets of paint? Why would anyone want to do that? "Hey Miss Coco," He smiled, and dipped his head. "Ok, but he's working as a police officer right now. And he has a partner. A good and understanding partner, but at the same time, not powered. I don't know if you want to risk showing your identity to him?" Dari frowned again. Then he remembered, "His twin sister (also a senshi) should be out of school by now (she's in DCU). Do you want to try her, instead?"

Suddenly and without warning, another train lurched by. Poor Dari... still a Kitten. He gave a screech and his fur stood on end. His tail shot up and he stood on his toes. Then he curled in a ball once again, weeping.

Dari came out of his ball slowly, "S-Sorry about that. Yeah, that sounds good. But can you show me the Cat Cafe on the way, please? Thank you, Miss Coco."

This time, he looked both ways before crossing the tracks, and there didn't seem to be a train in sight. He gingerly, but quickly crossed with no incident. He looked back at Miss Coco when he was done and waited for her.

Dari grinned. "Thank you, Miss Coco. That seems like a cool place." He frowned for a moment, thinking. "Miss Coco, how do we Mauvians age? My Senshi tells me that he remembers me from his past life on his world - he promises he will soon take me to get some Memories of my own. But he says I was there with him, and I was the same age, that I am now, from when his past incarnation was 8 years old, till he was fifteen. And that was a thousand years ago." He was really confused.

Dari looked downcast and then nodded. Finally, he smiled and got up and bounded forward giggling as he went. Destiny City University appeared in its usual position. Dari stopped his giggling and casually (as casually as a Guardian Kitten can) moved towards a bush where he and Coco could hide, while they discussed the students coming out.

Soon a young woman about 21 years of age, with the amazing stature of an Egyptian Queen, dressed in the Destiny City University uniform, strode out of class with her classmates.

Dari gestured toward her and said, "That's her, Xandria or as everyone calls her, Dria." He hurried out to her and caught up between Dria's legs, rubbing against her.

Looking down and seeing her, she sighed, but with a smile on her face. "Dari? What are you doing here?" She was careful not to pick him up as she knew that even as Drew's twin, she wasn't close enough to him for him to trust her enough to pick him up. Instead, he let her pet him for a moment, then cat-gestured for her to follow her back to the bush. She did so confused.
