Dria tossed and turned all night long. She was restless. What was bothering? Was it school? It was still two weeks before the new semester at her new school, Sovereign Heights started. But no... starting at new schools never bothered her. Then what was it? She sighed and inhaled, thinking of water waves on the beach - that always calmed her. But this time the waves were not simply and gently washing over and caressing the beach. These were a 100-foot-tall waves that were crashing down on the boats and ships, crushing some and rocking others - wait - why was she thinking about boats and ships? And come to think of it - these weren't regular ships that she knew of - in her minds' eye she could see them well. The smaller boats (many of them) were made of reeds, while the larger ships (fewer) were made of wood and had what looked like Hieroglyphics painted on them - and were more like pleasure crafts with homes on all boats and ships. No motors, these watercrafts were indeed ancient.
And then the voice came (could you call it a voice - it wasn't audio or even a thought. More like... hmm a calling in a deep 'call'? It reverberated throughout her body. Come BACK.
Almost like an angry parent saying to their teen, "Get your butt back here NOW!"
And then she knew - she was being summoned by her Homeworld... and there was a sense of something she'd left undone - a duty she shied from, not in this life but the last.
But she didn't know anything about Homeworlds. So, she decided to ask Drew to come - and Dari would be helpful as well. Dani was at a friend's.
Dria dressed and moved quietly through the house to Drew's room that he shared with their 22-month-old twin brothers and Dari, his bonded Mauvian. She gently awoke Drew and Dari up, motioned for them to be silent and to follow her. Outside, she explained what was going on and what she needed from them. Drew agreed immediately and wiped the sleep from his eyes. Dari rubbed his eyes with his paws and sleepily agreed.
They made the teleport trip, and found themselves on a large, well made - and well decayed ship of an Ancient Egyptian style - except that it seemed be a temple on a ship! And that ship seemed to be floating in quite shallow (Pasithee (Dria and Drew had transformed) knew somehow that the water should be much much deeper) and quite nasty water. Millenia of Chaos and nothing else had poisoned it.
Now, Dari was awake. "Whoa, what is this place Aunt Pasithee?" "I believe it is the Temple-ship of the Senshi." Etamin turned to her, "Temple-ship?" "Yeah. The people of Pasithee worshiped the Water Goddess, as this world was mostly water." She murmured, now remembering. "Sailor Pasithee's position was High Priestess."
Dari found himself drawn to a pillar in the center of the outer of the temple. "There's a lot of hieroglyphics here. Can't read it, but it looks like it talks about the Pasithee line or something." "Oh yes. Pasithee-ship, usually fell to the eldest daughter of the women of a certain linage, skipping a genaration, and the chosen would usually Awaken at eight years old." Pasithee commented, wondering where these Memories were coming from.
Etamin found a second pillar that he was drawn to. "This is interesting. Looks like two girls from the line and the elder crossed out, almost erased from history, and the younger becomes Pasithee?" Dari and Etamin frowned as if trying and failing to remember something important.
"In my previous life, there were two daughters: Da'nan and Do'zan. Da'nan the elder was to be Sailor Pasithee, for she was born first, and Do'zan wasn't born until Do'nan turned nine-years of age. On Da'nan's 8th birthday, they attempted to Awaken her, but her starseed was not ready to be Awakened. They tried again on her 9th, but still, it didn't work. Do'zan was born later that year. On Da'nan's 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th birthdays they tried again. When they failed once more on her 14th, people began to fall into a panic - thinking that the Senshi Cycle was broken.
"Four years later, she still had not Awakened and the world was on the brink of Civil War. Then a brilliant youth pointed to Do'zan and said try her - she's eight years of age, and she's got all the requirements. And everyone started scratching their heads and thinking, now why didn't we think of that? And they tried her, and she Awakened."
Etamin looked a closer and then lower. He narrowed his eyes - "This is weird - it looks as if Da'nan... was sent away? Then she met some dark object and became a monster that you fought?"
"Yes, I see it clearly now. But Da'nan wasn't exactly sent away." Pasithee frowned sadly. "The people assumed that Da'nan wasn't chosen to be Sailor Pasithee because she was unworthy, unclean. In reality, it was just that the power chooses who it will. But the leaders and yes, I, did not make this clear to the people. Da'nan had been the center of attention - now she was scorned - a Senshi-scandal if you will. She blamed me, her sister, Do'zan, now Sailor Pasithee for it. She went off on her own and traveled. She came across a Chaos object and poured her anger and rage and pain into it, and it consumed her, and she became a monster, that sought to destroy myself and the planet."
Dari padded over to the bottom of the pillar and said confused, "What's this, it shows Sailor Pasithee with a heart (as a bad thing), two young girls with dolls, and a tomb - a special tomb, not for the dead, but for locking away evil magical beings - that are still alive!"
Etamin turned to Pasithee, his eyes wide. "Pasithee?"
Pasithee hung her head in shame, "I fought her off many times, but I could not destroy her. I kept seeing her as the sister I used to play with as children, so in the end, I sealed her a magical stone-cold tomb."
Etamin and Dari frowned. Dari was angry. "I can't believe they would want you to destroy your own sister! Even if she is Chaos!" "I agree Dari. Unfortunately," Etamin said, disturbed. "That may mean that she is still out there right now, and if I'm not mistaken - that tomb's magic should be quite decayed by now." He turned and met Pasithee's eyes. "Is that about right, Pasithee?"
Pasithee nodded. "The one duty I left undone. The one duty I shied from in my past life. Her Human body has perished but the feral spirit has remained and has escaped the tomb. My mission, that I can no longer refuse, and that niether of you can help with, either than to protect yourselves, is to finally destroy that spirit." There was an eerie cry on the wind and the hairs on the back of Etamin and Pasithee's necks raised, and little Dari arched his back.
Dari and Etamin stepped back, nodded. Sometimes fights were like that. You had to fight them yourself.
There was a hurricane of wind and thunder that suddenly flew at Pasithee, yet she stood tall against it.
Dari and Etamin dodged all kinds of debris, and trash, and at one point a large ship came at them. "I've got it Daddy!" He leaped up in front of Etamin, right in the path of the ship and laser beamed it to dust. Then he landed on his feet and swayed, promptly falling over. "Dari!" Etamin cried and rushed over and held his friend in his arms. "I'm okay Daddy. Just took a lot out of me." Etamin put Dari in a place of safety and then went back to punching and kicking things out of the way as well as dodging - his magic was worthless here, unless he wanted to fight the spirit itself, and Pasithee didn't want that.
Meanwhile Pasithee was doing a lot of dodging and when she could, she used her attacks (which the spirit seemed to be extremely vulnerable to):
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Poison of the Blue Lotus
Pasithee brings her hand out in front of her, and a Blue Lotus appears in her hand. She raises her hand to the sky and the wind blows out enough of the Blue Lotus essence to make the enemy a little sick or delusional. 25 seconds. 2 uses. Range of 1 Powered person, or 2 civilians.
After the second attack, the spirit dissolved - destroyed. Pasithee rested breathing hard. After a moment, she stood. "It is done." Her mind, her Past Self, and her World, were finally at peace. Etamin stood, after a moment of rest, and walked over to her. "She is gone for good?" She nodded.
Darius, who had recovered his energy, came over to them and sat on his haunches. "Ya know, I'm feeling really weird right now." They turned to look at him. "What do you mean?" They asked him together in a state of alarm.
"Calm ya'selves. Daddy, please step back for a moment." Etamin nodded and did so. Darius stood and concentrated on pushing power out through his forehead star towards Pasithee. It took a moment - but soon Pasithee was garbed in light and power and when it was gone, her fuku had changed into that of Egyptian Queen/Ninja type thing. "Well, that's what I mean!"
"Well, then I guess that means, I need to reintroduce myself to both of you," Pasithee said, still plainly in shock to her brother, also plainly in shock and Darius who was now licking his paws. "I am Eternal Sailor Pasithee of The Blue Lotus, and I greet you."
