"Are Den and Dell asleep?" When Dria and Dani nodded, Drew asked another question before they could ask what he wanted to speak to them about. "When are the non-magical folk to be home?" Dria spoke tiredly. "If you mean, Mom, Dad, and Aunt Dia, they have gone on a business trip. We have the house to ourselves, until Monday - as long as we care for Den, Dell, and Dani-" "Hey!" "And Dani helps out. Also, we have to take care of all our regular chores, tasks, homework, and jobs (if we have them)."

"Good. Then I assume, everything is done for the night?" At everyone's nod, Drew continued, "Make yourselves comfortable, because I have a lot to tell - and lot of it involves all of you - and much of it is painful."

"How could it involve us, we weren't there-" Darius started to ask as he got comfortable, but Drew cut him off, "Hush, Dari and I will explain."

"On the first day of my trip to Etamin, I was restoring some rooms in the Pharaoh's palace. One was the Throne Room. It was really hot, and I was sweating badly. As I wiped the sweat from my forehead and took a sip of water, I spotted something sparkling, that had fallen behind a smaller throne - what would have been a Crown Prince, or Crown Princess's Throne. I went over and carefully dug it out.

"It was a small Coronation Crown - what seemed to be for a Crown Prince or Princess, perhaps of the age of about 8 years old. And suddenly, I was in the past -

"My Son, Hapii Merii, I am very proud of your accomplishments to this day, as Prince, but today is a special day, for you have proved yourself worthy of being Crowned the Crown Prince to the throne, not just by being my Eldest Child, but you have passed the Exams and the Ordeal to the High Caliber. For this manner, I present you with a symbol of your Throne, this elegant Crown."

It was indeed an elegant Crown- a light crown, with robust, and shining Onyx Stones
(the same one I was currently holding). "Thank you, Father," young Hapii said solemnly.

As the Pharaoh was about to place the crown upon the boy's
(my) head, there was a major commotion in the back of the room. "Hold the Ceremony!"
The Pharaoh was very irritated. "What is the meaning of this?!?!?"
He was indeed very disturbed to discover that the commotion had been made by the Librarian-Priests- those that trained the Senshi, and who had not been seen since the last Senshi died, over 100 years ago, and the Court Mauvians, Aker and Basket were with them.

The Chief Librarian-Priest, Parika, called to the Pharoah, "I am sorry Great Pharaoh, but the Senshi is here. The Senshi is near. They sense him."
Pharaoh stiffened. "Cannot this wait, until after the Coronation Ceremony?" He broached respectfully.

Aker padded toward him, senses flaring, Basket not far behind.
"Unfortunately, no, Great Pharaoh." He paused frowning. "Is it not one of the World of Etamin's own laws that Sailor Etamin can hold no titles, especially that of Pharaoh?"

Pharaoh's eyes widened in horror, and Hapii thought he might have seen a tear escape his father's eyes - he had never seen his father cry before. Pharaoh's hands fell limp; the Crown fell to the floor with a metallic thud and rolled away behind the throne.

"Father? Father, what is-" Pharaoh turned his back on Hapii. "You are not a Prince; you are not my son. I am not your father. You are not Hapii Merii. Hapii Merii is dead. My son is dead. You are Sailor Etamin, Protector of our World, and Chief Librarian. You have many other titles, which you will learn about in the years of training to come. You have had many lives, and hopefully you will have many to come."

Later that evening, Hapii, or rather Sailor Etamin as we must now call him, had been stripped entirely of his royal garments and been given his Librarian Uniform. It was plain, linen and comfortable, easy to move in - but it also showed his status as Sailor Etamin. He was given a plain room for the night, as he was exhausted, and couldn't even stomach dinner as he was so upset with the sudden turn of events his life had taken.

He lay in bed crying, weeping silently, still not understanding what was going on. Then he stopped - he thought he heard something. There was a shuffling at the Mauvian entrance to his new room. He lay quiet and still. He looked over in the dim light and saw what had to be a Mauvian- not Aker or Basket, this one was definitely a kitten.

It was the same breed as they were, so maybe it was their kitten? However, it was silver, whereas Aker was black, and Basket was blue. And this young kitten had a gold star on its forehead, whereas Aker's was Blue, and Basket's was Purple. This kitten wore brightly colored, gold bands around each paw.
The kitten stopped at the edge of the bed, and then jumped up unto the bed with Etamin. "Okay, you can stop pretending you're asleep - I know you're awake." He farted.

Etamin opened his eyes, fanned his nose, and purposely tried to frown, all the while trying not to grin, through tears.

"So, like I heard you had a rough day. A really rough day. I thought I'd come and see I what I could do about that!" The kitten said with a huge grin on his face.

Drew ended his tale and said only, "The first memory ended there." Dari poked his nose up. "Again, what does this have to do with us and some terrible deed?" He farted. The three civilian formed Senshi, frowned at him.

"What?"

Dani spoke, "That Mauvian was obviously you Dari." She looked at her older brother, "I take it there are more, since you said 'first'?"

While Dari looked to Drew in astonishment, "It was me? Really? I mean- I don't remember-" Drew answered Dani's question, "Yes, several."

Dria looked curiously at Dari, then turned to look up at Drew. "That was your most recent life, I assume - since no one ever remembers anything before that. That means, that memory is at least a millennium old. Which begs the question - how did Dari get from there, 1000 years ago, to here, and did not even age?"

This caused all them all to look at Dari curiously, and then back to Drew. "Well then, I guess you'll have to continue listening."
