Dreams of Entra is HIRING! ★ After looking over the workload that we have I have deemed that we only need ONE RP Manager aside from myself (Yes, I do manage that forum from time to time and will do more now that I'm not an artist.)
★ If you were once an RP Manager for Dreams of Entra, please re-apply here to be considered for re-hire.

I'm Applying for the RP Manager Position! Name: Dakka Domi
How much time can you dedicate to this position?: I can be online and present for around 8 hours daily, from 2pm-10pm EST, and I can periodically check the threads/metas/forums all day.
Have you worked at another shop before? If so, where?: Never before!
How many shops do you currently work at?: None yet!
Examples of posts or profiles you have done:
Dominik Kresh: Contains a profile, as well as an excerpt of my regular prose.
A roleplay with Salem: It's not the longest piece, but I feel it confers a pretty good idea of what I'm capable of in a post.
Salem's Profile: Incomplete, but it's another personality I'm proud of.
My approved quest in Dreams of Entra for Alanzo: A quest that I'm quite proud of.
Why do you want to work for Dreams of Entra?: I really love the shop setting, one. I've become fairly familiar with it through my questing process and my love's never wavered the whole way through. I love writing, as well, and I love seeing characters develop and people grow as writers, myself included. I'd like this position because I feel like it's excellent experience and a wonderful starting point, working in a most excellent shop with a staff I'm familiar and comfortable with. I have around 3 & 1/2 years total experience in the B/C, so it's not like I'm a total newbie; I know my stuff. I'd just love the the opportunity to give it a shot.
Why should we consider you for the position?: I am, almost to a fault, excessively dedicated to any endeavor I direct myself towards. A job like this, working in a world I love, acts as an excellent distraction and an avenue to pour some of my restless energy into, and I feel I have the dedication to stay on top of the various quests and events I'll be charged with watching over, the ability to maintain a friendly presence in thread, and hopefully I can help people reach their potential as writers and players.

[+][+][+][+][+]Why do you want to work for Dreams of Entra?: Think I do pretty well with helping folks, so.. yeah! I'm really understanding, and patient. I'm no suck up or schmoozer, so I'll tell it like it is, but in an appropriate manner, of course. Why should we consider you for the position?: Uhm, you tell me? I dunno, man. Think I'd fit the part well. I'm great at helping folks, and like to be useful. I'm level-headed, have a boatload of common sense, and I don't put up with bull-crap or drama.

Have you worked at another shop before? If so, where?: I own The Grid, Strange Aeons, and Epithymia, and I work as a guest artist at Armistice and Gachapon, as well as a full-time artist at Sanctum. At TG, SA, and Epithymia, I run just about everything -- all of the shop planning, managing, event planning and most/all of the art. I helped brainstorm some of the key ideas and concepts for Gachapon, too. How many shops do you currently work at?: Six. I don't consider shops worked in four years ago to be sufficient 'work' despite being there for over a year and a bit. So I'll just stick with mentioning that I usually act as a shadow advisor for most of my friends who happen to be staff in shops. It's only recently that I've wanted to take on a more visible role.

Well I already worked here previously and demonstrated a sound ability to keep up with each of the profiles as and when they came in. I also took the time to discuss and assist anyone who was confused about critique so that they could eventually reach the right requirements. I'd like to continue with that work. ^-^Sadly, new job with EA means I won't always be online for weeks at a time if I'm working the nightshifts so I won't be able to dedicate as much time as I used to. =( Could help out on a PT basis without any problems whatsoever but I won't be able to be here full time.

If so, where?: Yes, I have worked at Deam High as an rp manager (also aided in creating guild sections and growth requirements. ) I have worked at Lilium Hallow, held the job of rp manager (I also did crits there.) I currently work at La Luna as an rp manager, ( I run mini metas, crit and aid in other various things.) In one foul swoop a loud shattering sound rang out. Various bits of metal and glass sprayed from the impact on the wall and littered the floor below. A rather impressive yet small dent marked the wall on which it had been thrown, the brown hotel paint chipped to reveal the room’s previous color of a dark blue. The room itself was vast, random items of furniture spewed about most of which had not even been touched by the current occupant. Grey eyes flickered open taking in the red of covers, instead of the elegantly decorate canopy top of his bed. Said bed, covered in lush red, silk sheets, silk being the only kind of fabric that Kazuki felt comfortable to sleep naked in.
The rooms itself holding an elegance of its own, though the current occupant in the bed, that had begun to move was anything but that right now. Hidden within the confines of clinging silk, a raven-haired man was stirring, muttering incoherent things in his half-conscious state, rolling over. Two bare feet hit the floor with a rather harsh thud, the sun had yet to break through the parked curtains, why? Well it happened to be only four in the morning...
A soft irritated moan escaped, echoing in the room as the man sat up, left hand moving up and rubbing the corners of his eyes with his knuckles in a semi-circular motion, squinting into the dimly lit room. Stretching lazily, the silver-eyed man ran a hand through his thick locks, tousling them to one side with the previous day's gel. Sliding off the edge of the bed Kazuki let out a low yawn, opening the curtains wide with a flick of his wrist. Pausing momentarily he shook his head, seems there were few signs of life this early, just the way he liked it.
A lazy, large hand moved to gently rub at his bare chest, an unconscious action though being naked and in front of a window it might seem rather...odd and purposeful. Shrugging to himself he moved slowly towards the closet, his toned body muscles flexing with each step. Upon arriving at the closet he shrugged on a white long sleeved shirt, draped the light blue tie over his shoulders, not bothering to neither tie it nor close the button-up all the way. With a reluctant snort, he moved to the bathroom having done nothing in his opinion to physical to cause body odor he was only going to wash his face and apply more gel to his hair, on second thought, shrugging the previously applied cloths off he stepped into the shower. (older sample) Examples of crits: onetwo three Why do you want to work for Dreams of Entra?: The main reason is I really love pokemon, another is the overall concept of the shop interest me. I would love to be a part of the shop no matter how big or small that part might be and would do my best in helping to further the growth of the shop as best I can. Why should we consider you for the position?: Experience, a fresh outlook on things? There are a number of reasons for consideration I suppose, though mostly just cause I'm cuuuute. No. That was horrible I shouldn't *bats lashes* ... Ahem. Seriously though, I'm active in a few rp heavy shops, have shone that I can handle task such as undertaking Meta responsibilities since I've ran one in La luna or at least a mini-meta, have a spazztastic brain that is always full of ideas and really I just want to have fun like everyone else so I would be 100% focused on making sure EVERYONE has a good time. Also lol I apologize if this is closed, though I didn't notice anything saying it was. Fufufu.

Until class ends in 4 weeks. Then I have ... only one day a week doing work, and the rest is free time *cough* Have you worked at another shop before? If so, where?: Lilium Hallow, Legend of Lunaria, Sleepless, Princess, Star*Chasers, La Luna. How many shops do you currently work at?: Three o uo Art for two, managerial stuff at the other-- wait, sort of art at LH, I don't really know any more.
