Long periods of time had passed and yet, no sight of her brother was to be seen. She had begun to worry lately, her twin always came back to check on her regularly, not like she didn't know he was big enough to take care of himself but it didn't hurt to wonder where he was or how he was doing. Missing the thud of his hooves across the ground and the buzz of his wings as he neared her home. He had chosen to continue his travels to see the world, where as she, wanted to set camp and learn of new faces and friends. Even that had resulted in a strange form of loneliness she couldn't grasp. She peaked out of her tiny cave, the draping flowers folding over her petite frame and rolling carelessly down her back as she entered the dulled scenery.
The skies were angry, made up of grey hues and black cotten. It had been raining for days on end. When would it stop? She didn't know all she did know was that she had been cooped up in her little home for too long and needed to stretch her legs. She cast the sky a small smile, in hope it would lift as she set out. She couldn't fly in the rain and if she shrunk herself down then she would be squished by a droplet. It was never easy in this kind of weather, she actually struggled to come to an agreement with it.
'Stretching her legs' soon turned in to another aimless walk, taking her far out from her home like the previous meeting between the two colourful males and the brother with the dark coat however she had made her way further out and was now lost. her mind had fallen victim to simply being content and her spacing out, not to mention her tendency to admire every flower, wet spiderweb and anything that was pretty or looked shiny that caught her eye had ended herself too distracted to remember her way back or find a significant object throughout the journey that would even point her in the right direction.
Innocently she cast her hopeless gaze around the foreign area, a sigh elapsing from her lips as she stared towards the damp, muddy ground. The cold itched at her coal coloured coat, a shiver madly running through her spine until finally she gave in and decided to rest in the unknown area of the land. Illumise neared a tree, that was cherished with apples and noted it as the best place to take shelter from the monstrous weather. To her liking, a stray apple was laid upon the ground by the bottom of the trunk. With a wide smile her size became much smaller than the normal, almost as small as a butterfly before cuddling against the comfy roots and nibbling at the juicy fruit.

The rain was a soothing mistress and mother nature knew Daevyn well. When the stress became unbearable she would allow the heavens to open and he would be bathed in the ice cold liquid. It was a wonderful thing and he deeply appreciated the intervention of the goddess in that respect. Of all the spirits he had met she was by far the most benevolent despite her unpredictable moments. Then again, when was a creature not unpredictable, if she had created creatures in her image then surely they would mimic her actions to a degree?
It was something to ponder over.
Alas as the rain descended upon him and pressed the long strands of teal hair against his neck, he savoured the touch. There was nothing he liked more than the feel of the rain as it slid down his flanks, that gentle and loving stroke. It made his training easier and as his muscles were caressed he was able to perform his morning routine with sufficient grace. In fact, he would have argued that his routine was much smoother this morning but this could have simply been in his head - his biased regard for the goddess a primary factor in this train of thought.
His legs kicked out, lashing against the thin air. He lifted himself high into the air, launching himself from powerful hind legs so that he might kick at an invisible opponent. He twisted, he coiled and just when he seemed as though he was about to land painfully upon his side he would spring back and catch his footing. There was a reason he had been successful in achieving the greatest gladiatorial title in his former herd and this was it - the little bugger was agile, quick and moved without any former of hesitation.
However, what he hadn't anticipated was that another soquili would enter his line of sight and then promptly disappear from it again! Cat-like eyes narrowed to mere slits and he landed somewhat painfully as he lost focused and attempted to discern what witchcraft he had seen. He had been witness to spiritual tricks of the mind before, he had been forced to develop an immunity to them but that didn't mean it didn't take him a while to shatter the illusions.
Legs incased in mud, he scrambled to his hooves once again and strode forward. His eyes remaining narrowed as he drew nearer the culprit who had invaded his little piece of heaven. At first there appeared to be no sign, that it really had just been in his head but this made absolutely no sense. The stallion might have been particularly selective in his company but he wasn't mad and he had no reason to create imaginary friends. Suffice to say the raptor was not impressed and furrowed his brow, muttering a series of incoherent words. Mayhaps the goddess had wanted to test his powers of observation, his focus?
...If this was the case he had failed.
Heaving a sigh the male prepared to turn round and return to his morning routine. He shook his head from side to side, the mane lining his neck springing up in it's usual wild fashion. It was only when he began to take his first step that he heard the faintest sound, more importantly it was the sound of someone eating an apple. Someone eating one of his apples. He swung round once more, eyes skimming his horizon before it appeared to dawn on him and he looked down. He gazed down right to the based of the tree trunk where there seemed to be something dining on his food.
Sweeping the now soiled apple away with his hooves he lowered his head and proceeded to chastise the trespasser. Unfortunately, he really didn't get that far!
"What the hell do you -" he paused in his tracks as he observed what appeared to be the tiniest soquili he'd ever seen. "What the hell are you?" he said finally.

If the tiny flutter had realised she was invading someone elses home she would have quickly apologised for her rudeness and would have been on her way however, just as she was getting to the juiciest part of the delicacy she was rudely interupted in her meal, by a large circular object firmly rolling away the meal. Her mouth opened at a gasp, a squeak of distress that she might of been stepped on by the much bigger creature. With her head pulled down it was only when the sound of a masculine voice sounded, with more curiosity than threat that she dared look up, to be met by two narrowed blue eyes.
All fear that had flooded was now washing away like the rain upon the huge males agile body. She jumped back hastily dodging droplets that dipped from his long, spikey hair. Trying to take in all the detail of the male, he was muddy and wet. Had he fallen or gotten lost too? She tilted her head, his question confusing her. Even coming across many species of reptiles, he wasn't quite like anything she had come across before and he was handsome too despite the mud caked figure. Little did she know he had been training only a short distance away from the unnusual hiding spot.
A calm smile was offered to him and she stepped forwards, appraoching him to be polite, hoping that it was safe from any further down pour of the clear liquid. Her once well kept curls were slathered around her face in flat wispy strands, the golden scarf hung low and heavy; struggling to keep herself up.
"I'm sorry. My names Illumise-" She pondered on what he meant by 'what she was' perhaps he had never seen one of her kind before? It looked to come as a surprise. With a little chuckle and a wriggle of her nose she spoke softly contuing the reply. "I'm a flutter. This size is just easier to maintain when resting, if you prefer, I could transfer back to regular size?"
Maybe flutters didn't come across these parts often? That thought didn't last long when the bead around his neck caught the dim light and glistened. She twisted her head to the side to admire it. He himself was very colourful and he was scaled. She had never met another soquili with such beautiful colourations or skin. Possibly he was a different breed himself.

Illumise? Was that a name? It was certainly a foreign one to him and wouldn't come as readily to his tongue as he would have preferred. He wrinkled his nose as he dwelled on this before promptly shaking his head. It was in this motion that he sent a shower of water droplets in her general direction with total disregard for the problems they may cause for her. Afterall, the stallion had never encountered a flutter before - anything that small would generally have been killed in his former home. If she was alive to this day then clearly water droplets were not of her immediate concern. It was unfortunate, but the stallion hadn't come to realise that the Kawani Province was decidedly more safe and secure in many regions, than his home had been.
Nevertheless her description of what she was did cause him to narrow his eyes even further. In those moments he truly resembled a snake and he regarded her with suspicion. If she could chop and change her size at whim then that meant that she was a force to be reckoned with. Who was to say that she wouldn't transform into a giant capable of crushing him beneath her hooves at a moments notice? He didn't regard her with fear in these moments but seriously considered making a pre-emptive strike before she had the chance to.
She was on his turf after all!
"A witch," he stated flatly. In his mind a 'flutter' translated to a 'witch' and he filed this away for guture reference. They were to be watched closely and if they gave any grounds for concern then he would crush them (literally). "I have no interest in spellcraft, it's bad voodoo," he continued in much the same tone. The translation of this particular statement would be left largely up to the mare though it would have been correct to assume that he didn't want to see the magician in action. In essence he didn't trust her, she could do substantial damage and he was always acutely aware of the strengths of his opponents.
The irony of it all?
She probably couldn't fight to save her life!
However, they often said that it was better to overestimate than to underestimate. Better to be pleasantly surprised then overwhelmed and destroyed. He'd lived by these sentiments throughout his life and so forcefully indoctrinated were they into his system that he would have no intention of changing.
Nevertheless when she took an interest in the twisted red beads around his neck he furrowed his brow and withdrew. He didn't like that look, that acute interest. For all he knew she could attack him on the spot and use his beads or worse to make bad voodoo for him! With a grunt and a flick of his mud spattered tail he backed away ever so slightly - at least this way he could knock her back if she lunged. It'd be like cricket, she'd be the ball and his hoof would be the bat.
"Don't look at me like that, you'll get no fingertwitching from me!" he warned.

Was he worried of little ol' Illumise? Without any cause for movement she continued to stand still in the very spot she had moved in to. Listening to what he was saying intently once he had fast tracked her attention away from the beads with the name 'witch.' She frowned, momentarily. How could she be a witch for a natural ability? She had never hurt anyone or anything, in fact, the mare was simply incapable of such things.
"O-oh... I'm sorry. Was it something I said?" She asked sadly, not wanting to scare the male away and with the way he was acting, backing up from her tiny stage it showed he was cautious, confused about the breed. "There is no need to worry. At regular size I am much smaller than yourself. I am female after all and women aren't usually as tall as men."
Actually, it was rather cute the way he had took it, if not completely amusing. Voodoo? How could she do that? She was no shaman or gypsy, had no remote clue how to even start casting a spell. It was just unreal the way the male thought about her entire concept being. What way could she show that she was no harm. "I am no witch, I don't even know what voodoo is but if it makes you feel better I will stay this size, if you please keep me sheltered from the rain." She sighed. "If it lands on me, it could injure me if not worse, kill me."
She cast him a small, unknowing smile. She had no idea that she could of been in any danger, or that he had any means of harm indicated for any sudden movement she made. She made her way forward, skipping over tiny rocks in the terrain like stepping-stones until she was closer, staring up to him like he was a mountain towering the land. It was a strain, struggling to see that far up from where she was stood but she was determined to help him see that she was nothing more than a peaceful soul that meant no harm.

He should squish her, he really should. On behalf of all warriors he should take one for the team and smoosh her into dust. It was self preservation after all, for all he knew this mare could come back and cast voodoo magic on him in his sleep. It wasn't a pleasant thought, and then, he had to remind himself that some voodoo brought back the dead. Did that mean he'd have to move away from his little home or would she come back for revenge and turn him into a zombie? Neither was a particularly pleasant thought but she was less likely to disturb him while dead, right?
As she moved towards him, his ears pinned back against his head and he lifted his hoof to hover it over her tiny form. He was definitely going to squish her, it would take one quick stomp and she'd got splat. Maybe a little bit of crunching but if he was forceful enough it would be over quickly and he would be better off for it. Satisfied with his logical musings he gave himself until three, on the 'three' he would stomp and leave the little bug firmly flattened against the ground. Retribution for eating one of his apples. Okay? Okay...
One.
Two.
Three!
He glared down at his hooves expectantly but much to his chagrine he found that it hadn't budged an inch. It was still poised over the tiny mare's head, but hadn't made any attempts to squish her into oblivion. He'd never had a fear of bugs before, he'd killed plenty in his time so why couldn't he do it with this one. She'd cast a spell, it was the only logical answer he had. In the moments he'd hesitated the fingertwitcher had cast her voodoo on him and his fate was set. He looked understandably distraught at this revelation and stared back down at the mare. What had she done to him! Was he a voodoo puppet now?
Goddess save him, he didn't want to be a puppet, it wasn't his scene!
He didn't even stop to consider whether or not he was experiencing some sort of sympathy or pity for the tiny flutter who truly was vulnerable against the elements. No, his kind didn't feel pity, that just got them killed.
"What did you do?" he howled in alarm as he returned his gaze to his hoof. "Why can't I move it, what voodoo did you use on me? I don't want any bad mojo!" he growled, his eyes mere slits and understandably suspicious. Poor Illumise, perhaps she would regret going for her walk that day, she'd stumbled upon something quite eccentric!

Illumise crumbled beneath the males hoof, her eyes widened and without further a due, ducked her head down. Although when the foot didn't fall and flatten her like the images in her mind had of near death, she was baffled, lifting the shocked gaze back up to the raptor. H-he hadn't killed her? A miracle, she felt she was a gonner for sure with his assumptions however now, there was a much more tricky situation at hand, he thought she had cast a spell! That might of been for the best considering the sympathy he felt must of guilt tripped him in to unable to do it. He was so foreign to the idea that he almost convinced her that she was a witch. Maybe she was and had magical abilities that she had never realized before? Nah. He was just thinking that far out of the box. If there really were soquili that could cast magic, she hadn't come across one just yet.
"I- I haven't done anything!" She protested in a sheepish voice, knowing that he had control over whether she lived or died right now. To make that less of an option, she lifted off the ground and fluttered up to the peak of his muzzle, calmly landing with gentle steps. He would be mad, or result in other violent actions but at least there would be no standing on her. The thought of being crushed was less appealing to her now. With a sigh, she looked in to his eyes with ears pinned back.
"I would never harm you. I promise. I'm merely lost."

Oh my goddess she was touching him!
His inner voice shrieked with horror, rage and quite an array of other emotions too. His eyes widened and it was a wonder he managed to remain quite so still. Perhaps it was years of conditioning that ensured he didn't bolt or unleash his fury so recklessly but the fact still remained that there was a fingertwitcher on his nose. Yes, there was a witch on his nose and for all he knew, she'd just cast another spell on him - or rather, his eyes remained wide as it struck him. His inability to move had nothing to do with discipline, she'd paralysed him!
...Really it was just shock, but he was no doctor and couldn't know this.
And yet she was promising not to hurt him?
His own ears pinned back and it was only then that he realised that if he could move his ears then logically speaking he should be able to move everything else. He was stronger than a tiny tot fingertwitcher, witch or not, he would develop some sort of tolerance towards her. No, he had developed an immunity to her...
"Lost?" his voice returned to him and even appeared to be even more controlled. His brow quirked and he pursed his lips thoughtfully. "Well why didn't you say so in the first place?" he enquired, blinking once or twice at the rain drops that hit his forehead.

Illumise sighed. Was she really hearing this? The male was very oblivious to what was happening and only at the mere mention of being lost had he finally snapped out of his idea of fantasy that was spinning in the imaginative creatures mind the whole while. She gave a small smile FINALLY being able to get through to him and offered a nod to complete it. Maybe now he would listen to her a little better.
"Yes, I'm lost. I wandered from my home and was admiring the surrounding so much I lost track of my way home." She chuckled, it did sound silly, but her attention span didn't stay that long with her apparently. "Because of the rain I decided to rest under this tree but I didnt realize it was someones home and that I w-was intruding. Honestly."
After she had explained herself, she hoped that would give the male more of an idea of the position she was in. "If theres anything I can do that would make all this mess up to you, please say so. I feel terrible." Her voice quietened towards the end of the offer, looking away from the lizard like eyes and off towards the rest of the world that had become a blur throughout meeting this strange, yet mysterious stallion.

He couldn't be blamed for his superstitions! Perhaps if she had been privvy to the details of his life, had been aware that flutters didn't exist within his society then she would have understood him a little better. To be perfectly honest, the stallion was probably liable to freak out when he met anything that didn't conform to his standards. Evidently, this would mean that any wind, unicorn, kirin, kalona or Angeni was probably going to be a bit of an experience! May the gods help both he and whoever the next stranger might be, lest they end up in more than a pickle...
Still, it was highly unlikely he'd be freaked out quite as much as when he'd met this fingertwitcher - after all, there weren't any other soquili who could change size!
Nevertheless he settled himself a little, encouraging his body to relax so that the tension did leave his body and he could move freely. It was only the calm of mind who could defeat their foes and he knew that voodoo often required willpower to defeat. If she were to cast a spell on him then he would have to calm himself and ensure that his thoughts were precise so that he could dispel any illusions she might place on him. Unfortunately, the raptor was becoming acutely aware of the fact that her tiny little form was not an illusion...she was really that damn small.
When she had finally finished her explanation he released what could only be a world weary sigh and fixed one eye on her. Had he chosen to fix two he would have become decidedly cross eyed and uncomfortable. How was he supposed to respond to this? She had entered his little world, cast spells on him and caused absolute chaos - she expected a simple apology to be enough for this? His expression was decidedly unimpressed and unfortunately for the poor mare he didn't seem all that fazed by her genuine distress.
...Apologies weren't common place in his life.
How did one even accept one?
"There is nothing," he responded at last, resisting the urge to shake his head so that she didn't get dislodged (a generous act on his part). "Just," he snorted and lifted a brow. "No more voodoo, fingertwitcher - okay?" he stated plainly. He'd give no room for arguments in this, she wasn't to paralyse him anymore or prevent him from squishing her if he wanted to! Admittedly he still hadn't figured out that both of these things were his own doing and not the other way round, but his naivity and innocence was rife in relation to social interaction. Quite frankly, he'd never been schooled on anything to do with the outside world, he'd only be raised to well...kill?
"And now you cannot leave because it is raining," he seemed to have calmed fully by this point. "The droplets will squish your little wings, no?"

Looking back at him the mare chuckled and gave an absolute nod. "I promise, no more fingertwitching." The word itself was new to her but it was something amusing that made her smile now that she had thought about it. She was actually quite happy he had come to terms of an understanding, least not throwing her to one side to become victim to the rain storm. She eyed him as she gently walked further up his muzzle until she was in between his ears and laid in the bangs of his hair, more comfortable about being around the stallion.
She hoped he didnt mind, but it would be less restricting and nestled in to his hair like this was comfy and certainly more sheltered from the rain than at the tip of his muzzle. He still hadn't told her his name, she debated on asking but that may set im off once more, saying if she knew his name then she was gonna curse and come back and haunt him and all the like! It was so confusing. How had he come to learn such things.
"Thank you." She buzzed her little wings, looking down at him. Even now she was out of eyesight she still tried to peer at his eyes, if he looked up, that would have been a funny sight! Not like he would ever be let on to that.
"Do you like the rain?" she asked simply because he had obviously been out in it and saw even her. He had good eyes, it was sure of. The stallion wasn't any ordinary soquili for the norm that was sure. Coming to terms she wanted something to address him by, even if it was simply out of politeness or to get to know him. Even after everything he was letting her stay, right? Well that was the impression she got and in that case, he was indeed saving her.
"I still don't know what to call you" She smiled sweetly under the quiet whisper by his ear, shifting a little nervous with asking.

She was moving again!
Again - all over him!
In some circles, the stallions would have been positively delighted by this but Daevyn wasn't quite so privvy to these particular individuals within his gender. All he could confirm was that she was very similar to a genuine bug, they crawled over his fur and tickled him too - the only difference was that this one was a tiny bit bigger, talked and could change her size if she so wished. Where he had no qualms in crushing them (payback for the tickling) he couldn't quite bring himself to do that to her...besides, he couldn't even reach her, she was snuggled right between his ears.
At the thought of this, said ears promptly drooped a little as she came to rest, snuggling into his otherwise rebellious and punkish mane. To be perfectly honest, it rather ruined his image (if he were to be vain about it) - he didn't look particularly vicious or imposing with a bumblebee fingertwitcher thing on his head. What had she said she was again, had she even told him? If she'd told him it didn't appear to have stuck in his memory - perhaps she'd informed him while he was trying to ward off her magical powers.
Sigh.
Nevertheless when she expressed her gratitude he did the only thing he knew how to do and that was to accept it. Even as he was being raised a 'thank you' would be used when a sparring match had turned out to be educational or beneficial to one or both parties. He knew what that word meant at least, even if her voodoo was in a world far beyond his comprehension!
"You are welcome," he replied in a breath and (much to her pleasure) his eyes shifted upwards to regard her as best he could from her new vantage point. Needless to say, it gave him a little bit of vertico but he could see just a hint of the tiny creature in his hair, even if it was only a flicker of colour. However, all trust he might have had quickly fled when she requested what he could only decipher as his name. Why would she want his name, what if she was going to break her promise?
...He'd had enough voodoo for one day.
But then again, she seemed trustworthy enough, she hadn't cast anymore voodoo as of the last few seconds or so. That was certainly a positive in relation to the previous moments within this encounter.
"Dae - " he paused as if giving it further consideration and then opted for honesty. Well, if he'd broken her spells so far, he was fairly certain he could work his way round the others...all he had to remember was to focus and be strong. "Daevyn," he offered at last.
"My name is Daevyn."

Illumise waited for an answer as she lowered her head and shuffled her hoofs around, finally sitting snug and tight under a few damp strands of his fringe, content with staying there and remaining unmoved. Her head was placed down by her knee's, eyes directed to the ones on which she had predicted were looking up to merely spot the very calm colours of her coat. She gave a light laugh, the one eye which was most visible seemed to be at a struggle but, she thought it was rather cute of him. He was so, innocent and outcast from the world. Much like herself it honestly intrigued her.
What must of been going through his head, a stranger just fumbling into comfort upon him but, her body was numb from the cold and weak from the wandering, the warmth however from his mane and ears were helping. She could of most likely fallen asleep in such offered comfort! At the attempt of his name, coming in out in short pieces she beamed with delight, that it had been the right move and even now he was entrusting her with his name. Progression! At last. A sigh of relief fell from her lips as she pursed them, raising her tiny head in thought,
"Daevyn." She repeated, testing it upon her lips as it rolled off the tongue like a flowing melody. "How unique. It suits you quite well." It made her wonder if there was a meaning behind it but after pushing him for even that amount of information subconsciously, she thought it best to leave it as her attention slipped on to other things like. How far his home reached out under the small orchard or how he came to be here.
A yawn squeaked from her. Shaking the lilac tight perm of curls around gently with an ease to her tone as she spoke, now not worried about having to fear the sight of his hooves, even if there was a possibility he could just shake her from his head without a second thought but- he hadn't and that gave her hope, that maybe he would see past the bewitching spell she apparently had cast upon the creature.
"Were I interrupting something when you found me?"

Names were pretty but otherwise meaningless. They were a means to identify an individual but beyond that, held little place in one's life. Daevyn had found that out as a child, he'd been given a name, a means to address him, but he had been provided with nothing else. It was an indentity at least and a way to distinguish him from his opponents - beyond that, he would have been sincerely doubtful that his name was anymore than a series of syllables thrown together. That was how every child received their name in his 'herd', little thought was put into it, whatever was easiest to roll off the tongue suited his seniors just fine.
His ears drooped a little further as she made herself more comfortable and even he, a creature accustomed to uncomfortable conditions, had to admit that it was the oddest sensation ever. He had a bug-pony sat on his head, a bug-pony. He would have been able to accept a normal bug, a squishable bug that didn't cast spells upon his unfortunate form but instead the fingertwitcher had chosen him as a perch and much to his irritation he couldn't shake her off.
What had she done to him?
Time away from his 'brothers' had made him soft, he was struck with a wave of indecision and didn't appear to be capable of making the decisions that would otherwise make another creature's skin crawl. The more brutal and immoral choices he had been forced to make to survive as a stallion in a gladiatorial herd - he wouldn't have blinked twice at them... And yet, he hesitated now. In the face of this tiny little thing he was powerless to dispatch of her. It did raise the question as to whether or not his brothers would suffer from the same issue - would they too be frozen in their tracks by this little fingertwitcher?
It was something to muse over, that was for certain.
Nevertheless, when she posed another question he dropped his eyes away from her and slowly shook his head. The motion should have been enough to answer her query. "No," he replied simply, casting aside the information that he had in fact been training. He didn't need her to know what he'd been up to, if she'd had time to observe him before he had caught her then she would spot his weaknesses. He'd had enough hocus-pocus for a lifetime, he didn't need her making use of his vulnerabilities too. If she did, then he would be completely defenceless against the bug!
"Was enjoying the rain," he replied simply. It wasn't technically lying, he did enjoy the feel of such a thing on his coat, but it hadn't been all that he was doing.

Enchantress. That's what women of the witch type were normally referred to and though no meaning of such a thing had ever been explained to the tiny flutter, one could also assume that from her personality. It was gentle, soft and elegant, oblivious enough to lure in anyone with the natural flirtatious aura that covered tracks of kindness. Possessing these things, would mean nothing to the Raptor stallion and the silence spelled as much, with only the twitches of body language allowing Illumise to catch on that, it wasn't that he was ignoring her but that there was a silent, incoherent conversation going on below her feet, working around like little men filing papers.
His ears fell, tickling past her sides with the stray strands of ear fur in to a set of giggles causing her wings to buzz hastily in the air of laughter. How it hurt her tiny frame so, that even she had to roll on to her side, placing a hoof in rest against the ear to press herself away from the discrete torture device. He must have thought her mad, or mental. Completely polar opposite. It wasn't until she had pushed herself towards the countering ear that he spoke again. He seemed to be more of the expressive type through body language than he did verbally but, understanding that it was probably through politeness, if anything or the silence that tainted the air. She smiled brightly in the recovery.
"Is that so?" She spoke quietly. She had never been entirely against the rain, she liked to watch it and even soak in it sometimes when she was at full size. It was soothing to listen to and pretty to watch as it slipped across flower beds and leaves that hung down from the mighty tree's of the forest. It was a reminder that he had been soaked, dripping with mud and even in the filth, roughed up exterior he had an admirable glow to him. Which made her wonder. Was he really just enjoying the rain? Or because of her sudden reputation was he hiding things? It didn't matter. Not even an inch of deviousness could of been spotted within the mare but - now was growing to be an exception. She found, him freaking out over her was around that topic, which he gave more replies.
The silence and the dark silhouette of the canopy, creating a looming shadow over them made her more decisive than ever to keep his voice rolling and easing her mind. She was sure, that she was safe for now but, what had been a blur was now dark and musky. A foggy haze of the unknown. She tucked her head down as close to the ear as she could. As a form of comfort.
"Mhmm... Did it cross your mind, maybe... I was testing you?"
She shook her head. This was ridiculous! What was said now, couldn't be taken back but it did make her curious on how he would react, if it as positive, it may be a note to keep in mind. If it was a negative reaction, she would refrain and tell him that she was making a 'joke.' If he understood what one was...
