Name: Kansuke House/University: Grendel Occupation: Artist Obtained: Stream prize
Race: Bakeneko Gender: Male Stage: Senior Age: 22 Height: 6' Body Type: Toned and in shape, but still somewhat slender.
Battery or Infertile?: Infertile Natual Medium?: No
Personality: Kansuke is quite energetic and has a constantly active mind. If he's not working on an art project he's thinking one up. His mind is a combination of insanely focused and incredibly scatter-brained. Many have witnessed him pacing around a project and brain-storming aloud. The one-sided conversations he holds with himself can be quite erratic and punctuated with sudden, rapid movements as inspiration strikes. When these fits come upon Kansuke he is quite blind and deaf to the world. It takes someone with determination and dedication to break through to him while he's creatively processing, and most prefer to just leave him be and wait for the moment to pass.
Kansuke is reluctant to be distracted when in the throes of creativity. He does try to take care of himself, but when he's distracted he can forget to eat...or sleep. He actually has an exercise regimen, it's just that his daily routine sometimes gets interrupted. He also eats very healthily. There's usually a few different kinds of snacks around his kitchen for those moments when he's too busy to actually prepare a meal, but, of course, he often forgets.
Kansuke is an openly friendly and accepting person who is not at all shy about talking to new people. That being said, he was raised by a highly overprotective mother and isn't always on the same page as everyone else when it comes to social interaction. Like he rarely approaches new people on his own, but will happily chat with someone he just met if they happen to introduce themselves to him first, or are introduced to him by other friends. Once he is introduced Kansuke has no compunctions about just approaching said people if he happens to see them in public, regardless of what they might be doing at the time.
Another aspect of his personal oddities is how very touchy he can be. He's not really aware he's doing anything odd, but Kansuke frequently brushes up against or touches people. It's just natural behavior on his part and there's no special meaning to it, other than he's not quite aware of personal space rules. Kansuke is actually quite naive and child-like in some aspects. He's a quick study, but sometimes the conclusions he draws have his own unique spin to them.
While carefree on the surface, there are some depths to Kansuke that are melancholy in nature. He's usually pretty open, but will rarely talk about his life before crossing the Swirling Storms. He understands deprivation and judgement, having experienced both from childhood. He learned to wear masks as a means of defense, masks of cheerfulness, optimism, and willful denial. Over time Kansuke grew tougher and harder to hurt, but in periods of difficulty he reverts back to old habits. He's not really one for confrontation, but rather will try to stand strong and keeping moving forward in the hopes that this too shall pass.
Likes: Sunny days, the smell of clay, that feeling after a workout, grocery shopping, surprises Dislikes: Creative blocks, muggy weather, being unable to act Hobbies: Painting, sculpting, miniature creations Goals:
Short term: Complete whatever project he is currently working on, try not to get so sucked into a project that he forgets he has class, try not to get so sucked into a project that he forgets to sleep/eat Long term: Graduate from university, then find some kind of job that lets him do whatever art he likes. Maybe establish a following so he can make enough to live off of through commissions alone. Love and family are in there as well, but due to some deep seeded issues he's ignoring he's...well, ignoring that as a goal.
Kansuke lives in a little studio apartment close to his university. Since he's a student he gets a discount on rent. It helps that the complex is geared towards artists, offering even more reasonable prices to those who make a living with their art. There's even a nice gallery on the bottom floor where pieces can displayed and even sold if the artist wishes.
Kansuke doesn't often invite people to his apartment, since it's usually his place to get away and recharge. Those who have seen it are often surprised by how neat and tidy it is, knowing how scattered and all over the place Kansuke usually seems.
Here is a general [layout]. If the link doesn't work there is a description in the spoiler.
When you walk through the door to the immediate right is a tiny alcove bit enough for a thin end table. To the left is the door to the bathroom, which has a tub/shower. If you walk a few steps into the apartment you'll be in the kitchen/dining area. There's an island counter which holds the kitchen sink and acts as counter space as well as dining space. The rest of the kitchen is set against the wall. There's a tiny section of counter, an oven and stovetop, more tiny counter, refrigerator, then floor to ceiling cabinet space. The hanging cabinets stretch from wall to wall, offering more storage. There is a closet in the kitchen, with two of the walls making up the outside walls of the apartment, which has some shelves for storage and a standing washer/dryer set. Past the kitchen, along the right wall, is the living room. There's a big set of windows on the far wall, with enough space for a desk, coffee table, end table, love seat, and a set of drawers which doubles as a TV stand. The wall turns at a 45 degree angle, with a window looking out onto a small balcony, then turns at another 45 degree angle with the door to the balcony. There is enough space for a chair and small table, with a door that leads into a nook where the water heater is stored. Across from the balcony door, on the left wall, is the bed area. There is also a closet for clothing, which shares a wall with the bathroom.

Hime ♀ Spectrefox | Kansuke found Hime when she was just a kit. The two bonded pretty quickly and they've been together since that day. Hime is especially sensitive to Kansuke's moods and tends to stick with him at all times. She's a bit more savvy when it comes to reading the intentions of others, and is quick to defend Kansuke if she doesn't like how the people around him are acting. Around Kansuke she's as sweet as anything and extremely patient with him. She doesn't seem to show a whole lot of interest in other people, but isn't immediately aggressive either.
Momoiro ♀ Mewgle | Momoiro is actually quite shy. She only appears whenever Kansuke is alone and hides the rest of the time. Of course she does get up to a couple tricks with Kansuke, climbing over his projects and getting into things. She's been responsible for breaking him out of his intense concentration many times, which is probably good for him in the long run.

PM me or quote me in my [plot journal] if you're interested in plotting!
Romance:
Kansuke isn't particularly fixated on looks. He has an artist's eye, and is always able to find beauty in something. Even the strangest or most frightening of mutations. He's a very physically affectionate person and needs touch in his life to feel secure, though it's so ingrained in him that it's a subconscious reaction to reach out to or brush against someone, rather than a thought out or calculated decision.
Kansuke is very dense when it comes to romance. He doesn't realize some of the things he does can have romantic implications, nor does he realize a romantic overture made towards him is anything other than friendly behavior. His past also ties into it somewhat. It was only Kansuke and his mother his entire life before he crossed the Swirling Sands. She was highly protective of him and tried to keep him close at all times. She was very loving though, and also prone to frequent displays of physical affection, which is where his behavior came from. Since his mother never talked about her past, he only has theories. He likes to think she came from a high class family, rebelled, then ran away, because it sounds adventurous and romantic. Whatever her story, Kansuke's mother was born without magic and is infertile. This trait was passed to Kansuke. They both lived at the bottom of low class. People tended to look down their noses at them, for their lack of magic, for Kansuke's mother struggling to support them, and for their general withdrawal from others. They always managed in the end, though in the early years Kansuke was bullied quite often.
Kansuke himself wants love, deep down, but he's afraid and pushes people away. His oblivious nature might even be partially subconscious. He's terrified that if anyone finds out he has no magic and is infertile that they'll hate him. He also finds himself rebelling a little at the idea of someone wanting him simply because he is attractive. Like something nice they saw in a store and can take on and off as the mood takes them until they get bored and toss him out. Now I am personally a fan of emotional drama with a happy ending, so if you have an idea then I would love to hear it. The more drama the better. I'm even down for the drama being physical in addition to emotional. That's not how it has to go though, so if you have an idea then by all means throw it at me!
Available?
Single, no current romantic attachments.
Orientation?
Demisexual, doesn't seem to have any kind of preference.
Racial requirements?
None. IC he will be a little reluctant to get involved with another Bakeneko, but it's something that can be worked around.
Fling?
With conditions. Kansuke is infertile, so he'd need to set up an appointment at a clinic in order to imbue. He doesn't reveal this information lightly, so he would only have a fling with someone he felt particularly close with.
Friends:
Kansuke tends to paint most of the time, but he does do other forms of art. Sculpting with clay is his go-to when he's feeling a bit more like movement, and when he's in the mood to wind down he's actually good at building miniature, doll-house sized objects from clay and wood. He could have an artist buddy, or maybe someone who's a fan of his art and likes to commission things or just watch him? I dunno, something along those lines!
I don't really have any specific ideas for how this would go, and honestly it'll probably vary from personality to personality anyway. It could be purely friendship, or it can be used to work our way into a romance plot. I would just like someone who can befriend Kansuke and looks out for him. Kind of like an older sibling. Like makes sure if he's in creative mode that he takes care of himself, makes sure his that people aren't taking advantage of his trusting and sometimes highly oblivious nature. This is pretty much the working of a BFF plot, someone Kansuke ends up going to over others. I would like them to kind of work out some of his inner issues, and maybe help him come to some kind of terms with them. If you have ideas, poke at me and we will see what we can come up with!
Rivals:
Kansuke does commission art work, or just puts his art in the gallery of the apartment complex he lives in. It's how he usually makes money, since he has a hard time holding down part time jobs. Maybe there's another artist trying to get commissions who he ends up in a friendly rivalry with. It could be a little less friendly if you like, though it would be one-sided less friendly.
Kansuke doesn't always realize some of the things he does can be misleading. His touchy nature, for example, and overall friendliness. Maybe someone thinks it means something more? This could be a jealous significant other who thinks Kansuke is "poaching". It could be someone who things Kansuke is their significant other, and develops stalker behavior. Anything along those lines.
Race: Sluagh Gender: Androgynous Stage: Freshling Age: 4 Height: 3' Body Type: Sturdy yet a bit clumsy
Battery or Infertile?: Infertile Natual Medium?: No
Personality: Artemus is very quiet and contained. They tend to spend most of their time on the sidelines just watching, and not because they're shy but because they seem to find the need to interact either pointless or full of tedium. There are exceptions, of course. Their adoptive mother, Arabelle, for one. The Sluagh ambassador to Below, Cillian, is another. Truthfully there are very few people Artemus feels comfortable around, and even around those few Artemus is still a person of few words. They never speculate outside of their own mind, every opinion is well thought out before it is voiced, every comment is pertinent to the subject at hand. If they ever talked for the sheer novelty of it people might assume Artemus was suffering from a fever or some other such illness that might make them a bit delusional. This is not at all to say Artemus is mute, just that they are reticent and miserly with their words.
Artemus is a cautious yet inquisitive person. They like knowledge, and most of the time when they talk it's to ask questions. They only ask about educational, impersonal things. If they want to know something about a particular person they either observe that person to try to formulate the answer they're looking for, or the person has to volunteer the information. Artemus can be quite considerate and will take a lot upon themselves to help others. Of course they expect a certain level of reciprocity, even if just a bit. To the selfish people who simply take advantage of Artemus' good nature....well they're too well mannered to actually snub them, but they only do exactly as much as is needed for their part and nothing else. The letter of the law rather than the spirit, as it were.
Likes: Cold weather, pretty gardens, glow-in-the-dark, potatoes Dislikes: Bright lights, excessive noise, being expected to make conversation Hobbies: Cooking, reading, gardening Goals:
Short term: Do well in school. Learn how to be a proper Sluagh in Below. Discover how to make the most efficient potato garden. Long term: Graduate Academy and learn what it is they want to do.
Past Stages:
Artemus lives with Arabelle in a small apartment near Asterion. It's on the second floor, with a tiny balcony that gets mostly morning sun. When you enter the front door the kitchen is to the immediate left, with connections for washer and dryer, the living room and entrance to the balcony are straight ahead. There is a short hallway off the living room, at the end of which is a storage closet. To the right in the hall is a door to the bathroom, to the left is the door to Arabelle's bedroom. It's all the space she needs, and close enough to the university to be quite convenient. For now Artemus shares a room with Arabelle, but she will likely be looking for a bigger apartment soon.
Berry ♀ Rammykin | Berry is an energetic little puff ball who frequents follows Artemus around. She has to be watched carefully since she'll even try to follow her owner outside on the windiest of days. She has a sweet temperament and hasn't met an object she wasn't willing to attempt to eat, though she's got an excellent memory for what is and is not food and rarely tries to eat the same thing twice. She's a bit shy around Arabelle, but has her moments of affection.

Romance:
Artemus isn't at all fussed about looks. Frankly you could have any kind of pattern or color scheme and they wouldn't care. They probably wouldn't even care if you have mutations. There is a slight concern for physical wellness, a desire to make sure any offspring they have are healthy and strong. That's probably the only consideration they really give.
Artemus is a very quiet and private person. They aren't exactly solitary, but neither do they feel the need to have people around all the time. They think it would be nice to find a partner some day, but it's not really a priority to them. After all they're infertile and don't have any kind of special talents, so procreating isn't a reason for them to settle with someone. They find it very hard to really connect with other people. Of course there are people whose company they enjoy and people they like to be around, but Artemus feels like a romantic partner should be a bit more special than "I can tolerate you", and they're unwilling to settle for anything other than the real thing. Frankly, Artemus is half-convinced that they'll never have a romantic match, due to their private nature. Not only are they usually uncomfortable sharing themselves with others, it is equally uncomfortable for them to try to understand another person on a personal basis. To not only give a piece of themselves, but to be entrusted with a piece from another person... So while Artemus is open to the possibility of perhaps one day finding a partner, they aren't exactly looking. If it happens it happens.
Available?
Single, no first crushes or puppy love
Orientation?
Pansexual, bordering on asexual
Racial requirements?
Kinda. Since Artemus is going to be difficult to settle, if I find someone who clicks with them in the right way then it honestly won't matter a bit what race they are. But for IC purposes I would just like their partner to be another Sluagh. But, again, not a solid requirement!
Fling?
Yes? Artemus might one day decide they want to try to have a child or two. If they do it will only be with another Sluagh, since this is less about a child of love and more about furthering their own race.
Friends:
Artemus has a couple different interests. Creating gardens, for example. Potted gardens, raised gardens. Different ways to grow potatoes. They also like stars, though they don't have a particular interest in studying them. They also enjoy experimenting with various glow-in-the-dark objects, like paint or lanterns or stuff like that. Anyone with similar interests could hopefully befriend Artemus so they have someone to do stuff with. Or even someone with a new interest that might peak their curiosity and give them a new hobby to start.
Artemus is one of the first Sluagh born in Below. They have had absolutely no contact with their Above kin, aside from the few representatives of their race that were sent down. Even then their contact has been fairly limited. Intellectually they know a few things about their race, but in practice they only know life with their adoptive mother. It would be nice for Artemus to make a few Sluagh friends, especially those who came from Above.
Rivals:
Artemus is pretty quiet, reserved, and intellectual. To some they might seem very cold, even rude. Artemus usually tries to maintain a position of neutrality among their peers, but it's entirely possible for people to take up a dislike of them for their closed and seemingly unfriendly exterior.
Artemus' adoptive mother is an Elf. Given the views their race has on Elves, that could probably cause more than a bit of tension with some of the more sensitive members of their race. In addition, their mother also shows signs of "corruption". These things happened long before Artemus was awakened, but they're given to understand that it was a rather horrible time for a lot of people that left many physical and mental scars. Artemus isn't at all bothered by their mother's eyes, but it seems many are unnerved by the pure black with glowing red dots, and cast judgements based on Arabelle's looks. Whether someone gets suspicious of Artemus theirself for living with a "corrupted" Elf, or just trash talks their adoptive mother and feels like Artemus would be better off away from Arabelle, there's scope for a lot of tension.
Name: Amber House/University: Arkham Occupation: Academy student Obtained: January 2017 Breeding
Race: Hybrid (Baphomet x Kumiho) Gender: Female Stage: Freshling Age: 4 Height: 3' Body Type: Slender and petite, yet fluffy
Battery or Infertile?: Battery Natual Medium?: No
Personality: Amber has a very gentle and patient nature. She has never been heard raising her voice to anyone. In fact she can be a bit of a crybaby, usually when someone is being mean to her or if someone else has been hurt. It can make her easy to manipulate because she doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings and she's not the best at spotting deception. She forgives quite easily though, so even if she did catch on it's not like she'd be mad for long. Amber can be quite persistent despite her easily-hurt nature, and is prone to pursuing a cause long past when most would feel it's lost. Even though she's easily hurt she's an optimistic and cheerful person, and it would take quite a bit to truly swerve her away from that.
Amber is very outgoing and quite snuggly. She likes being around others and has very few personal boundaries. Of course since she doesn't like making others uncomfortable she's willing to compromise a bit, but it's just how Amber is, wanting to constantly touch, brush up against, or hug people. Her energy level can vary, but is usually somewhere around the calmer levels. She can sit and wait patiently for several hours if someone she's with needs to focus on something. Of course she likes getting up and doing things or chatting, prefers it, in fact, and she can get very excited and energetic. But her energy is very warm and soothing. There's no particular drive or need to do things, she just likes it. This is why she can sit around for long periods of time without any signs of impatience. Her own desires are of lesser importance than the happiness of others, or, rather, her desires are that other people are happy, however it has to be achieved.
Likes: Being around people, helping others, caramel and toffee, snuggles, plushies Dislikes: Being alone, fights, getting soaked, super spicy food Hobbies: Cooking, sewing, rock climbing Goals:
Short term: Makes friends, spend time with family, get good grades, improve skills Long term: Figure out what she wants to do with her life after school
Past Stages:
Amber lives in a home leased by her mother Topaz, near the coast and close to Asterion and Hyperes.
Amber shares a room with her mother for now. Once she gets a bit older she will probably have a bed with the rest of her siblings, or even her own room if Topaz can outright buy the house and remodel. Amber shares a bed with her mother and has a chest for clothing and special toys. For any other toys she just raids her older siblings' room.
Mother. Amber adores Topaz and loves snuggling up to her to watch her restore various different items. It always seemed like a kind of magic to her. She enjoys hearing Topaz's stories and loves doing things together like going out for walks or making meals.
Older half-sister. Amber loves Quartz as much as she loves Topaz when it comes to snuggling up and watching their skills. Quartz draws and paints, which seems to be an equal measure of magic to Amber. She looks up to her big sister and follows her around everywhere when not with Topaz.
Older half-brother. Amber isn't above giving Khiran snuggles too, though she sees less of him than Topaz or Quartz.

PM me or quote me in my [plot journal] if you're interested in plotting!
Romance:
Amber is usually a very open and friendly person who isn't prone to making judgements about people, but she can also be easy to frighten. Hallowed or similarly strange-looking people might greatly intimidate her at first, but it doesn't take much proof of friendliness to get her over her initial misgivings. Amber warms up to people pretty quickly, and once she decides she likes someone their appearance becomes a greatly lessened factor in how she views them, if it even plays in at all.
Amber is easy to scary and easy to hurt. Her natural sunny and optimistic nature ensures the wounds rarely go deep, but it honestly doesn't take much effort to make her cry. It's hard to say what she might be looking for in a mate. She's naturally very loving and physically affectionate with everyone she likes. It might be hard to find that line where you know you're something more special to her than just a friend. Interaction will likely play a bigger part in whether or not a romance will work, more than a list of specific personality traits.
Available?
Single, no first crushes or puppy love
Orientation?
Pansexual
Racial requirements?
None. For IC reasons, given all her fur, a relationship with a Nixie or Naiad is probably very unlikely. Not impossible, just unlikely.
Fling?
Very possible.
Friends:
Amber enjoys several different hobbies. Her favorite things are cooking, sewing, and climbing, all of which she works to improve at, but she would love to garner new hobbies, especially things she can do with a group. Or, if someone also likes cooking, sewing, or rock climbing, there's probably ways to make that into a group activity. Classes or something of the sort. Either way, Amber would just love to do things with other people!
Amber was acquired as a partially imbued stone. Her mother and half-siblings are all pure Baphomet, but Amber's dominant features are Kumiho. Amber's mother does what she can to make sure Amber doesn't miss out on the other part of her heritage, but sometimes there's no substitute for acquiring racial knowledge than to talk to someone of that race. I would love for Amber to make Kumiho friends, especially ones who came from Above and can impart some knowledge to Amber.
Rivals:
It is amazingly easy to make Amber cry. You don't even have to try if you're having an off day, just glare and tell her she's annoying or something. She's like a bully's dream, because she doesn't fight back or stick up for herself. She bounces back pretty quick and forgives easily, but her skin gets no thicker for any of the encounters. If you think the always sweet and affectionate types who can't stand up for themselves are annoying, and the way they try to stand up for others but still crumple under pressure is just irritating beyond belief, Amber is probably someone you'd target.
This idea can kind of walk the boundary between friend and enemy, or even love interest and enemy. Amber is a very touchy person and is very loving and sweet to everyone. For someone with an intensely jealous and/or possessive personality this could probably cause a lot of friction. They could want to keep Amber to themselves and get angry at her every time she shows affection to others, make demands for special attention and all that. I'd just like to mention that this does probably walk the line of emotional abuse, and while I'm okay with that I do hesitate to stray towards physical abuse. If that's something you might want to plot we'll have to do a lot of discussion before I consider it.
Name: Acacia House/University: Eldritch Occupation: Academy student Obtained: January 2017 Breeding
Race: Hybrid (Fallen x Fey (Lunar) x Geist) Gender: Female Stage: Freshling Age: 4 Height: 2' 11" Body Type: Sturdy
Battery or Infertile?: No Natual Medium?: No
Personality: Acacia is a bit of a tomboy. She isn't really a fan of anything that could be considered frilly or delicate or cute. If she sees anyone coming at her with skirts, shirts with cheerful logos, or any sort of hair care paraphernalia she immediately runs the other way. She's made escaping into something of a hobby, actually, considering the size of her family and the ridiculous enthusiasm and energy some of them harbor. Not that she dislikes her family. To the contrary, she is ridiculously protective over them and perfectly happy to spend time doing things with them. Acacia is just a very serious little thing who doesn't really seem to understand why people fuss and doesn't like being the object people fuss over.
Compared to some of her family Acacia can seem a bit withdrawn. She's naturally a bit quiet, preferring to think things through in her head before acting. She doesn't always relate to others well and is fine spending most of her time alone doing her own thing, not to mention she has this way of seeming grumpy or mad about something even when she's not makes her seem like someone who is naturally a loner. This isn't the case, since Acacia does enjoy being around other people; it's just that she isn't particularly effusive, in fact feels so incredibly awkward talking about feelings or anything of a similar nature that she tends to flee from the first hint of those kinds of conversations, that makes it hard for her to really express whether she enjoys someone's company or not.
While usually quiet and thoughtful on the surface, Acacia has both a competitive side and an amazing temper. She hates losing and is stubborn enough that she'll keep trying long past the point when maybe she should let things go. That's also part of her temper. Not to be confused with her surface personality of grumpy reluctance and sarcastic comments, Acacia's temper is slow but hot, like a river of magma below the surface. Mostly it stays below the surface, and all you see of it are the geysers of steam that punch out in quick bursts and are just as quickly gone, but when the magma itself breaks loose you hightail it out of the blast zone if you have any hope of surviving. It's rare to see, but once is generally more than enough! Acacia tends to be a constant thing who rarely changes her mind. Maybe it takes a lot to make her upset, but once a grudge is planted she never lets it die unless the exonerating circumstances are extraordinary indeed! The same goes for her loyalty and support of the people she cares about. She's not going to coddle or hover (or if she does she'll be incredibly sneaky about it), but she's still very fierce when it comes to her loved ones and she'll charge forward without a second thought to defend them.
Likes: Simple clothing, physical activities, astronomy, baked goods Dislikes: Frilly or cute clothing, being forced to sit quietly, cheaters and bullies, excessive whiners Hobbies: Star-gazing, running and climbing, sneaking, baking (she is very secretive about this one) Goals:
Short term: Get through her classes, avoid being put into "cute" clothing, keep her interest in baking a secret. Long term: Graduate Academy, figure out what it is she wants to do with her life.
Past Stages:
Acacia lives in a rather large household that consists of her, her brother, her fathers, her "mother" (no actual relation), and a gaggle of siblings, some of whom are actually related and some who aren't. It's one heck of a clan. The house itself is actually more of a mansion, since Alrai's parents are quite wealthy (though all she knows about them is this and the fact that they aren't on any kind of speaking terms with any of the family except her uncle). The manor is big enough that even with the large family it doesn't feel crowded. There's also several "secret" passages, though if there are any left undiscovered and actually secret, only Alrai knows and he isn't telling.
Father. Alrai is her favorite parent since he's a lot calmer than her other father, but then she isn't the most expressive of people and doesn't have the same energy output. She enjoys talking to Alrai and learning about all the different things he knows, and will grudgingly admit she enjoys cooking with him as well.
Father. Morginn's exuberance and love of cute clothing and dressing people up often sends Acacia for the nearest secret passage to escape. She doesn't have the same interests or drive her shorter father seems to have. Nonetheless she does love him, and when some days are a bit too hard to cope with she knows he's a ready source of comfort and snuggles. Just as long as he doesn't try to make her wear a dress...
Older half-brother. Acacia likes Arinas, though she isn't so fond of him hovering any time she does something that might be a bit unsafe. She can be oddly protective of her older brother since he's usually so quiet and shy. She sometimes tries to prove she's his equal by eating some of the same foods he does, which can have varied results considering he has to spice his food with a heavier hand to taste anything.
Older half-brother. Acacia doesn't really see Bryony that often and since she's not the warm-feelings-and-hugs kind of person she usually keeps her distance. He's family though, so that counts for something she supposes.
Older half-brother. Like Morginn, Acacia feels Florence has more energy than is good for him. He's quite emotive and always wants to do something. He dresses up in the kind of "frilly" clothes Morginn likes to make, and while he doesn't try to dress Acacia up the way Morginn does Florence does keep trying to do "something cute" with her hair. He's great to go to when she needs a bit more motivation, but otherwise Acacia tries to stay out of his destruction path.
Older half-sister. She's calmer than Florence, more like Araceae, and can have equally interesting things to talk about. Acacia is wary of Fiore sometimes though, because she has a plotting side to her that just comes out of nowhere sometimes. Fiore does have a patient, persuasive side to her though, and she can often talk Acacia into doing things that the rest of her family fails at.
Older half-brother. He's pretty energetic and has a temperament closer to Acacia's than the rest of her siblings, so she tends to get along with Viaresu quite well. She's not big on being "protected" though, so sometimes she has to keep things from him so he doesn't try fighting her battles for her.
Older half-sister. Acacia doesn't have any particularly strong feelings about Etna, other than she's another sister to distract Alrai and Viaresu with their protectiveness.
Younger brother. Eryusa was awakened not long after Acacia herself. He is the sibling she feels the closest to, and, like Fiore, Eryusa is more likely to talk Acacia into things than any of her other siblings. She's less protective over him than she is somewhat possessive. Whoever tries to romance her brother will probably constantly feel eyes watching them, the poor soul...

Romance:
Acacia doesn't really seem to notice looks or body type all that much. You could be slender and elegant or tiny but built like a boulder and it wouldn't make much difference to her. The main thing she seems to really want is someone who can keep up with her. She's quite physically active and spends a lot of time on the move. Someone who could fly would be a bit plus, but since she's plenty active while on the ground it's not really any kind of requirement.
Acacia honestly isn't sure at all what she'd be looking for in a partner. All she really has in mind is someone who can keep up with her, but there's plenty of people in the world who are physically fit enough to keep pace with her so there has to be more to it than that. There aren't any single "types" that she seems to get along with better than others. Of course there are some traits she seems more averse to than others, but she can go from avoiding someone one day to wanting to spend personal time with them the next. How Acacia gets on with someone seems less to do with personality and more to do with the swings in her moods and how others adjust to them. I could see her falling in love a couple different ways. The "rival" is one possibility, someone she competes with who she eventually grows close to. She could also take on the "protector" roll, falling for someone who might be physically weak but strong in spirit. Acacia usually doesn't coddle and tries not to hover, but she is still quite protective and will look out for others. The one thing that she won't fall for is someone who is mentally or emotionally unstable. Not that she would completely avoid those types, she's totally capable of befriending someone like that if they happen to take a liking to her as well, but she knows that there's the possibility of them using her as a crutch more than because they have real feelings for her, so it's something she would actively discourage until they were a lot more stable and independent.
Available?
Single, no first crushes or puppy love.
Orientation?
Somewhere between pansexual and demisexual, probably closer to demisexual. Doesn't have any particular preferences.
Racial requirements?
None. Since she's only part Fey, Acacia has no aversion to Chimeras or fire-natured types. Winged species are a plus, but not a requirement.
Fling?
Highly unlikely without good plot reasons.
Friends:
Acacia is a pretty active child, usually out running, flying, or climbing on something. She has a love of the stars and is frequently out and staring up at the sky whenever she can sneak away. She could probably easily find a friend to do physical activities with, maybe an after-school program or they just frequent the same park/hiking trails/rock climbing spots. For the star-gazing thing she could maybe find someone who's in a club, wants her to join a club, or wants to start a club for star-enthusiasts, or perhaps it's just a series of random chance meetings with someone who finds/frequents the same "good spot" she does to look up at the stars. Acacia is also a fan of baking, but she is extremely secretive of this and practices completely on her own. The reason she's so secretive is because it's probably the one thing that she's ever fussy about making sure things are precise and pretty, and she's afraid that if anyone else knew she'd be teased about it or something. She could always have a secret baking friend, since with a household the size of hers it's risky to hope for alone time to use the oven and there's the same risk with using the ovens at school.
Acacia isn't on a crusade against bullies and isn't the type to take weaker folk under her wings. Sure, if she sees some actual fighting going on she'll step in or get an adult, and she's fine with the occasional nice comment or smile to those who look like they're having a really bad day, but she's the type of person who thinks you need to learn to stand up for yourself or things will never really change. She is able to be somewhat of a prop though, someone you can learn on when times are a little hard and you just need that support to keep you from falling over entirely, but eventually you get back up on your own. Acacia isn't the type who would seek these people out so it would be mostly up to them, but someone who is more timid or shy or some other trait that gives them a bit of trouble socialize could always take a liking to her and attach to her as a friend. Or someone fighting to adjust with a physical weakness or disability. Acacia isn't the most soothing person there is, but she's loyal and constant and will do what she can to help.
Rivals:
Acacia seems pretty calm and quiet on the surface, but she's actually pretty fiery and has a high competitive drive. She's more likely to form some kind of rivalry with someone doing a physical activity, but depending on the class she could also get into a bit of a educational rivalry as well.
Acacia is the type to just do her own thing without really worrying if it'll offend someone or not. Heck, she ducks out on her dad all the time even though all he wants is to give her cute clothing and love. She's got a somewhat sarcastic and grumpy air to her that can make her seem like maybe she's a grouch or all-around ungrateful. She can have a sharp tongue and her patience fluctuates depending on her mood. It could be easy for someone to do something for her thinking it's a favor, she reacts negatively, and then it spirals downward from there. Or something along those lines.
Name: Shochu House/University: Gendel University Occupation: University student Obtained: Love Letter Partner Contest
Race: Hybrid (Fallen x Naga) Gender: Female Stage: Senior Age: 20 Height: Total legnth of 9'. On average she holds herself at 4' 6", but can go as high as 6' without hurting herself. OOCShochu is 14' 8" in length and typically holds herself around 4' 6" Body Type: Slender, almost delicate in comparison with other Naga
Battery or Infertile?: No Natual Medium?: No
Personality: Shochu is a very enthusiastic individual with a zeal for life. She's so enthusiastic sometimes that reality can escape her entirely. Grandiose plans that are infeasible due to time, budget, or practicality. Detailed predictions based around the smallest of things that have to do more with a very active imagination rather than actual wisdom or insight. Perhaps the most prominent trait, though a bit less subtle unless you're watching for it, is how she views romance. Shochu gets it in her head that the person she's interested in must be her destined soulmate, and she'll obsess over them to the point of following them around and making up deluded little fantasy stories. She's absolutely a stalker, though she's not a yandere. In fact she falls in and out of love all the time, concocting reasons why her "true love" was something else to further her on the path towards finding her "current true love". Aside from the fact that it could be considered weird or creepy Shochu is mostly a harmless stalker. She leaves things like letters or gifts for the object of her affection to find and will always read way too much into what they say, but she rarely ever makes any kind of actual contact with them. In fact Shochu is so good at just blending in with the background and letting her little mental fantasies do their job that the most her targets usually ever know is that at some point they had a secret admirer and then the secret admirer just vanished.
The fact is that Shochu lives so much inside her own fantasies and illusions that she's remarkably fragile when faced with reality. It's only luck that she's never really had any major setbacks in life, because she is utterly incapable of dealing with them. She certainly has a very optimistic and positive outlook on life, and she's plenty sweet, friendly, and helpful enough that despite her oddities people tend to like her, but it would be frighteningly easy to break Shochu to little pieces. Strip her illusions and there is little experience for her to fall back on to cope. In a sense she's still just a child and hasn't been force to "grow up" yet.
While her energy can be hard to keep up with her and ideas and schemes are particularly exhausting, Shochu is a sweet girl with a large heart. She may seem fickle, but that is only because she lives largely inside her head and has yet to really express her love and receive it in turn. She has the capacity for remarkable devotion, going above and beyond what others would expect or ask from her. Any advice she offers is going to be hit or miss since it likely won't be grounded realistically, but she's an emotional bulwark that can always been turned to when you're having a bad day and really need some encouragement and attention.
Short term: Get through her classes, find new and interesting books to read, meet people Long term: Find the love of her life and settle down to her happily ever after
Shochu lives in a small, one-room apartment with Erato, close to the Grendel campus. There's not a ton of space right now, but it's a good starting home for a couple who are still getting settled in life.

Eros ♂ Rammykin | Eros' personality has two sides. If he likes you, like he does Shochu, he's one of the sweetest and most affectionate Rammykins around. He always wants to be around the people he likes and frequently solicits them for attention. He's well-behaved and usually quite obedient. If Eros dislikes you, which he seems to be his more common reaction, he can be an annoying little stinker. Of course having a floating puff ball attempt to ram you isn't all that bad, but be careful that he doesn't try to bite you!

Romance:
Shochu isn't exactly particular about looks, though there are certain "types" she falls for. People she thinks look cool or tough or rugged tend to catch her eye, the type of person who would probably be the main character in an adventure novel or something similar. This isn't to say she could fall for someone more along the slight, adorable, or gentle lines, but they just aren't the usual types she tends to crush on so it might take her a little longer to develop (or recognize) feelings.
Shochu tends to cast herself as the damsel or the support character who is still essential to the hero's story. And it is entirely possible that the "main character" kind of person she's looking for could be good for her. Shochu's mind tends to wander through fantasy most of the time, so she needs a bit of looking after and grounding. One of Shochu's main flaws is that she believes in the happily ever after, so when things go wrong, as they inevitably do from time to time, she starts to doubt whether she's with the right person or not. If this is her true love shouldn't there be happiness everlasting with no fights or misunderstandings? Shochu needs someone grounded in reality, not necessarily to keep her grounded, since that's not always possible, but to be the solid foundation when things go wrong and she has no idea what to do. She can be exasperating sometimes, constantly haring off into flights of fantasy no matter how many times you try to keep her on earth, so whoever she ends up with will have to be patient. It's really the opposite of what she imagines her love life will be. She's the main character, maybe ditzy and prone to mucking up from time to time, but still the main character who pushes everyone forward even when things seem impossible, and her partner is her essential side character who supports her through it all and makes it possible for her to be who she is.
Available?
Kinda sorta. I'm probably going to custom a mate for her, but if you're really interested then I can try something else.
Orientation?
Probably pansexual. Shochu doesn't have any particular preferences, though when she is enamored with someone her attention tends to narrow exclusively to that person.
Racial requirements?
None. The only thing I might require is that with her wings she isn't suited for confined or underground spaces, so races like Imps or Sluagh aren't likely to work with her.
Fling?
You'd think so, with her romantic nature, but surprisingly no. Unless it's some kind of super mega drama plot, Shochu will only imbue with the person she believes is her true love.
Friends:
Shochu is a major theater nerd. It's like actually being inside a book. She loves acting and wants to make a career out of it somehow, though she isn't sure if she's got the talent for it or not. She could definitely use more theater friends, especially those who might be able to help her figure out where she wants to go with her career or who might even be able to give her a bit of help starting out.
While Shochu might be a bit clueless and out of touch with reality, she's quite the romantic and chock full of advice she could give if you've been less than lucky in that department. She's got excellent ideas for poetry, gifts, and dating locations, and while her interpretation of whether someone is interested or not might not be quite on the mark she's still very encouraging.
Rivals:
Shochu is definitely a bit of a stalker. She's never really approached any of her romantic interests outside of letter delivering and she's really good at making herself blend into the background, but it's always possible a jealous significant other has gotten suspicious and has taken to keeping an eye on the people around their lover. Shochu isn't really the type to do direct confrontation, but there still could be some jealously or the illusion of competition.
Stuck in the realm of fantasy, it can be easy to become exasperated or annoyed with Shochu. There may be those who find her type to be particularly annoying, or even though who really just like to tear people down several pegs of reality just for the heck of it. Despite her determination and cheerful outlook, it can be quite easy to do some serious harm to Shochu, whether it's your intention or not.
