A pop quiz?! Cyril was taken aback at that. He had been studying, but would he remember enough to get a good score? He tentatively took the paper that was passed back to him and looked it over. Well, he. . . he knew that one. Oh, and that one, he knew it too! Slowly but steadily he filled things in. Soon enough he had filled out most of the sheet and he smiled softly to himself. He looked his sheet over, filling in a few more as he did so. He tripled checked, just to make sure but he couldn’t remember the ones he’d left blank. There weren’t as many of those as he had feared, so hopefully he would get a good score for this. He signed his name up at the top and turned in his paper to the teacher, relatively reassured.

A pop quiz? On the elements? On…on all of the elements?
Cider stared at her paper, her brows furrowed in concentration and her ears drooping with worry. She was no good at remembering all of these letters and names…half of them were so difficult to pronounce and it just…
Why hadn’t she just stayed back in bed? It would have been so much easier than having to take this pop quiz and as she trudged up to the desk and handed it in, she was worried that she did terrible…but even if she had done terrible…it had been her best, right? And in the end…wasn’t that the most important thing about doing school work…making it your best?

Acacia worked her way through the test, feeling fairly confident in her answers. Her mother (at least Acacia thought of Araceae as another parent) was big into science and was perfectly willing to share her knowledge. Acacia liked science. Even baking was a science, which was the excuse she gave anyone who caught her at work in the kitchen. It was technically true, just not the whole reason she liked to cook.
Acacia was one of the first to finish the test. She went over to the teacher's desk, handed in the paper, then walked back to her seat and pulled out a book to read to pass the time.

Amber worked her way through the test, feeling distinctly nervous. Science was interesting enough and she wasn't bad at it, but she couldn't help but worry that she'd get a bunch of wrong answers and fail and make her mom and the teacher disappointed in her. Some of the questions were so easy that she had to double-check herself to make sure they weren't tricks. She also hoped she was spelling things correctly. If it was close enough to be sounded out maybe it would still count?
Finally Amber finished the test. She went to hand it in, her little hands trembling slightly from after-test nerves, then went back to her desk and rested her face against her arms a bit while she recovered.

Quartz almost groaned when she heard they had a test that day. She was okay at science, but it had never been her strongest class. She had resigned herself to a miserable day, but felt a bit of relief when she actually read the questions on the paper in front of her. It looked like this was mostly a review, some basic things they learned as freshlings combined with slightly trickier questions that were still easy enough at her level. She practically blazed through the questions, though she took care with her penmanship and spelling.
Finished, Quartz turned in the test before returning to her desk and pulling out a sketch book. She flipped to her latest project and pulled out her colored pencils, then started to doodle while she waited for the rest of the class to finish.

Lilo groaned loudly as the word "test" left the teacher's lips. Why couldn't they do something like play with chemicals? Or even watch one of those dumb science movies? Anything would be better than a test, Lilo was damn certain of that. The Baphomet rolled their eyes and begrudgingly picked up their pencil.

Tests were always something that Skylar looked forward to, especially in science. It was the one subject that he absolutely excelled at, in fact most of the time Skylar would take it upon himself to read ahead to be prepared for the next day. This was going to be an easy A...then again he had never scored anything aside from 100% on anything in science.

Iah was hoping he would do alright on this test. Normally he was a great test taker, but these questions were not of the science he was interested in. They seemed to be more along the lines of the body and not the stars, a subject he wasn't too fond of. It was a good thing to know of course, but it just didn't interest him that much. However, he had been studying the material so he was sure he would get it. Maybe he would even get a better test result than he expected? That was possible right?

Kara took a breath as she looked over the test in front of her. She wasn't the best at biology, though she had dabbled in it just enough so that she could work on robotic tech. She supposed she should try to get better at it if she ever wanted to get as good as Bliss was at making Dolls, though she still wasn't sure how they made them. Perhaps someday she could interest them in hiring her, however, that was far far in the future. For now, there was a test in front of her that she had to finish. She looked over each question, answering them as best as she could.
