Buster, in all of his stinky glory, decided to give the strength game one more shot. However; the operator was so repulsed by his stench that he was shooed away. He did get a potion out of it though! INVENTORY
Another candy!!! Narcissus was nearly beside himself in glee. And Dandy was already heading toward the next house, with the news that the next one would be the very last house. Obviously she was saving the best for last. Narcissus’ tails were wagging so fast they were almost knocking him into Destiny.

Dandy took a deep breath. The plush and candy that she got would be cute for one of the children who went with her mates. At least, she hoped it would be. It had a certain appeal, but it wasn’t anything that she needed cluttering up in her office. . . Though perhaps she might set it out for her client’s little ones? Not that any really. . brought them along. It was probably a silly idea. She’d figure out which kid would get it when her and her mates rejoined that night to see what spoils they’d gotten.

More candy, perfect! Destiny just knew that the last house was going to be the best of all and nearly sprinted for the door. If she was the first to ring the bell, she’d be the first to say the magic words and would get the best of the candy! Only Dandy’s reminder that they had to stay together kept her on the sidewalk instead of hustling across the decorated lawn.
The next house had handfuls upon handfuls of stale candy? At least, he was thinking it was stale because none of the kids who were walking away had a happy expression. Unsure how to feel about that, Cyril shook his head and just headed for the next house. It was almost over. . .almost.

Before Kanda could bound away to the next house, she was stopped by the sight of a cute little fennekit. Most of the time open events like this were swarming with familiars looking for new homes or those who were trying to either give or sell the pets so it wasn't a surprise to see it. What was a surprise though, was just how cute this one was.

16 A pet was not candy. Especially a fennekit who had enough energy to put a freshling to sleep. Now Red had two of the little buggers. Their ears were all weird so he got why they didn't want the things, but it wasn't safe to just HAND OUT PETS to strangers! Snarling to himself, Red almost wished he'd gone back to take all the animals from them. Giving pets away to strangers! Who even knew if they would treat the things right?
Prosper was only a step away from Gem when....he tripped on a rock. Again. Prosper's feet scrambled to steady themselves before he looked behind him and picked up the damned thing that tripped him up. He might have fallen for Gemini, but not in a literal sense.
Tahir found that he really like the soft, chewy candies a lot. They were so nice on his teeth, how they easily gave under them, and had such nice flavors!

Honeycrisp found a little wisp in his game, who he gently gathered up along the way, spinning lightly, and continued dashing along.

Plague and Cure were visited by a little wisp while taking photos together, who got in a few of the shots. Pausing from them, Plague found himself with a new buddy who was nestling up against him.

Tulio was feeling himself getting more irritated than he'd like by seeing his so called 'friends' having all that fun without him. He hadn't even been invited, or included....
Finishing the night with a pair of lollipops, nice. Narcissus, mouth full of the sticky sweet, trailed sleepily after his mother. All this walking around was tiring work. Did they really have to carry their buckets all the way back to the carriage all by themselves? 10, 17, 16

Dandy, smiling down at both the sleepy freshlings in her care, was pleased with this outing. Both had been so well behaved and they deserved all the candy they'd collected and more. Hopefully her mates would agree and she could splurge a little on getting a couple bags of treats while the children were asleep that night. It'd help to end any jealousy prematurely as well, a bonus in her book.

Her lollipop, stuck to the plush she'd been handed, was sweet enough that she stuck it back in the wrapper for now. Her mouth wide in a yawn, she tucked her other hand into Dandy's and tried handing over the bucket. It was heavy with the fennekit in it, she couldn't carry it anymore. Morning was soon enough for more excitement.
A cute doll and another. . . handful. . .of stale. . .candy. Cyril sighed. Tonight just hadn't been his night for treats. Then again, he had to look pitiful, all dressed up and going out and getting candy. he didn't even have a freshling to say it was for. He was such a loser. Feeling down, arms full of plush, Cyril kept from flashing a pattern by the skin of his teeth and just turned to leave.

Getting the fennekit to follow her was no big deal, especially since it was so eager to see what she had in her bucket. At the last house of the night she got a plush for her new pet and another bag of eye candy of some sort. Kanda was pleased with this years haul and couldn't wait for next year.
