Emmerate was gosh dang tired. It was time to go home. All he needed to do was find Vega. He hoped he didn't scare him off. What if he never wanted to see him again? Emmerate gulped, his brows stitching together in worry as the idea of his normal life started to crumble. On instinct, he grabbed the nearest thing that he could grab--a bottle, looked at it, and took a swig.
There were still a ton of bad candies left. A heap ful. Liv took pity on one of the booth owners that was trying to stuff them all into a giant bag and took a few. The owner insisted that they took a plush, which, Liv reluctantly accepted. Might as well. INVENTORY
The ride was....well, it was quite bland. His date might have been hanging onto his arm like some sort of lifeline but all Mym wanted to do was yawn. Lazy put together props. He could have done a better job. It was like the haunted carriage ride driver heard his thoughts though, as the nightmare ran over a pile of rocks and one came sailing---right at his face.
Mym winced and placed the rock in his pocket. Why couldn't it have hit his date? INVENTORY
Buster was goofing around as usual---and fell into a huge pile of trash. Pancake made a squeak that sounded more withered, as if he was dying. He couldn't blame him. The smell was awful.
When he got up, someone was kind enough to give him a few hard candies. INVENTORY
Blitz, worrying his lip, went to the closest carriage driver who looked very much done with this and life. "D-Do you know where my boyfriend is? He's blue, a naiad, pretty handsome? I lost him." large brown eyes looked to see if there was any recognition. There was none.
The driver gave him some candy floss and told him to get lost. But..."I'm already lost..."
A big bunch of cotton candy was just what the doctor ordered. Narcissus accepted his candy with glee, adding it to his bucket. He wasn't even upset when Destiny got some almost exactly like the kind he'd gotten. Now he wouldn't have to share.

Both kids got a bag of cotton candy and somehow she managed to get a handful of stale candies. At the very least the wrappers were festive. Dandy dropped them into her bucket, knowing that she would just be throwing it out later on. At least both the kids had gotten some good candy from the house. Based on the apologetic look on the fallen's face, they knew that Dandy had gotten the worst end of that deal. The kids were happy though, so she had no complaints.

Candy candy candy!!! A giant bag of cotton candy to add to her stash. She wouldn't even have to share with her siblings because they wouldn't know she'd gotten any. Destiny was delighted she'd decided to go with Dandy trick or treating.
OK, he could admit that the plushies were cute, but what was up with the "treats" that were getting passed out? He'd gotten another toothbrush. While he appreciated not having to go out and buy another set anytime soon, it was beginning to make him wonder. Did his breath stink? Were they trying to tell him something? Surely they weren't giving these out to the kids too? Cyril hadn't been sticking around long enough to find out the answers, but maybe he should. . . at the next house.

This neighborhood had to be one of the best she'd visited. So many of them had given out plushies in addition to candy, she didn't even know what she was going to do with them all. Maybe her dad might even like this cute little nezubat plush she'd gotten. If not, it would look cute with the blue one she'd gotten.

That's it. The whole neighborhood was getting egged. He'd visited over half of the houses and gotten not even a single good candy for his troubles. If they were going to be that stingy, then he'd have to teach them a lesson. A measly handful of the stalest candy he'd ever put in his mouth were not going to cut it. Where was the chocolate, the giant bags of cotton candy, the suckers for pete's sake. He was going to try one more house. And the nine help them if it didn't give him some actual candy.
Tahir was discovering he liked some of the flavors over others, when it came to the artificial sweets, not too big a fan on the more sour ones to be sure.
Goodies:
Honeycrisp began running around laughing merrily as his familiar pals raced after him, their soft squeaks and yips trailing close behind his ankles as they enjoyed the game of chase.
Goodies:
Plague found that blue items were great items to show something akin to his lovely boyfriend, and would match so well with the multitude of pink he had back home.
Goodies:
Tulio began to scroll through pictures of his familiars at home, smiling lightly at how cute they were, and excited to see how they'd respond to the new ones that would soon be added to the gang.
A handful of disappointing hard candy was all he got for the last house of the night. Just a he turned to give his mother the big puppy eyes, a wisp caught his attention. It was colorful and the moment his eyes were on it it darted behind his mother. "A wisp, a wisp!" Tails awaggin', he trotted up to Dandy. "Are we keeping it?"

With a wisp trying to hide behind her, it took Dandy a moment to realize what Narcissus was asking. "If it follows us home, I don't see why not." A wisp didnt require anything more than a small container and a bit of magic every now and again. Easy enough to provide for and tend to.
A second small handful of candy was dumped into her bucket, which was clearly the reject bucket now considering most of what it had in it was candy that neither of the little ones liked.

A flitterrat carrying a . .toothbrush. . .? Destiny had gotten halfway up to the house before she had heard a scruffling in the yard under one of the bushes. Underneath had been a mutated fltterrat. Its' wings were all torn up and it had an extra set of eyes, but it sniffled at her and peered curiously around the toothbrush it was holding. Tearing up a little because who would have left their pet like this, Destiny scooped the pet and it's treasure up and gently set them in her bucket. She'd take them home and care for them!
Creeped out enough by the fact that they were giving out so many eye centered things this hallow's eve, Cyril made the decision to just go get some candy from the store. As he was turning to go, a booth set up in front of one of the houses caught his attention. What was this? On the table lay a variety of cute little ghosts. After a glance at his mask, the kirin smiled and waved a hand over her table, offering him his choice. After a few heartbeats of hesitation, Cyril picked up the one he liked best, with a goofy smile. Feeling a bit better about coming out tonight, he started to walk away before turning to thank the kirin. When there was no sign of a booth there he turned right back around, swallowed dryly and strode off.

Spotting another of the houses giving out little ghosties, she couldn't help but bound over. Eagerly signing a "Trick or Treat!" she was surprised when she got back an enthused reply in sign. To her delight they gave her a corny joke about pirates and then handed over an adorable ghost along with the candy. Maybe she had time for oooonnne more house. Hopefully. But then it was definitely time to meet up with her father again to head back home.

16 King sized candy bar, small ghost trinket, AND a plush. It was almost as if this last house was trying to make up for all the rest of their sucky neighborhood. It was almost enough to put Red in a better mood. Maybe if a couple more of the houses had been like this, then he wouldn't be so hard to convince. Alright. . .he'd try one more house. And if that one was alright, then he'd consider not egging the place. But! If he got so much as a single piece of crappy candy, he was going to get as many eggs as he could carry, a couple friends, and they were going to town.
As he lifted up from his crouch and turned around----he saw a very familiar figure. His husband. Prosper let out a rush of air before shouting out a "Gemini!" waving his hand to beckon him over. So he was safe. He still hadn't found their kids, but at least he could search with his partner...and hope that there wouldn't be even more trouble tonight. Nervous, Prosper grabbed a few more stale candies.
Tahir accidentally grabbed a sour coloured treat, and wrinkled his nose lightly... well maybe one of his brothers would like this instead...
Goodies:
Honeycrisp leapt over some obstacles to give his buds a little challenge in their game of run and chase. They seemed to love the extra challenge, giving cute little sounds each time they easily cleared the heights.
Goodies:
Plague decided it might be cute to take some pictures of he and Cure together at their first Haunted Hallow, suggesting it to his lover who then posed with him with pleasure.
Goodies:
Tulio was looking through other peoples Haunted Hallows party pictures on social media, scoffing and tsking with annoyance at how much fun they all looked to be having.
You know what, he had three kids. Just one handful of candy wasn't going to be enough. Especially with how voracious his kids were. He picked up a few more candies for them as he made his way to Gemini.
He didn't leave! Emmerate brightened up as he saw the geists well---too familiar costume. He shook off the uneasiness he felt seeing Vega dressed up as a horror of his past and grabbed some candy floss, moving his way to his lover.
Liv was clocking in, getting her hours of volunteering at the event signed off and wasn't expecting anything. She already had so much---but the person who was signing her off insisted that she take some potion home. Maybe Lilly would like it. INVENTORY
