 Emmerate smirked, still tense from his flashbacks from earlier. A random name, hm? "I named him after someone very important to me. In fact, he placed the now downed bottle in his bag. Never was he ever going to not recycle. Not recycling was bad. He was beyond that now. There was a twinkle in his own gaze as he eyed Vega. "Named after someone who..is the closest to my heart." The man was as close as he'd ever get. There was no changing the past, but that didn't mean he couldn't keep it hidden from him. The ex pirate had thought they had moved on, had hoped that his nerves wouldn't have been noticed by the young geist in front of him. But of course, Vega was smart. If he was still the person that he used to be, Emmerate would have gotten rid of him. He was too smart. Or maybe he just knew his body cues too well. Still, he grinned, giving a hallow chuckle. "There's nothing wrong." Vega couldn't change his outfit. In fact, Emmerate wouldn't have him change it for the world. He was beautiful. If it weren't for the bad glimpses into his past, he would have been glad to go home early and thoroughly ravish the man in love and affection. Unfortunately, the memories were there. Maybe he should be the one to leave early. "I keep on going somewhere else?" he echoed, stroking the back of Vega's neck and trailing his hand down, contemplating. Vega was too precious to know. He'd leave him at the slight inclination that he was a pirate. He couldn't have that happen. "But I'm here right now, with you!" G-Go jump in front of a carriage? Did she hear that right? Liv opened and closed her mouth a few times, her brain still wrapping around the words. The scenario had been funny until he said that. What a jerk. And here she thought that they could have been actual friends. Someone to hang out with fro time to time. Then again, why would she want to hang out with some mousy hybrid who was shorter than her?! Obviously, she had better things to do in her time. "At least I'm not clowning around here." she yelled back, obviously too late. A kid came up to her, couldn't have been more than Lilly's age and offered her a nezubat plush meekly. Reluctantly, and with an ever present scowl, she took the damned thing. Man, was she going to have to get back at him for that. Too bad she didn't take a photo of him. Ah yes, his little charge did have quite the temper. It was so easy to rile him up, so fun to play with. Really, it was starting to become one of Mym's favorite past times---play with his charge. Make him flustered, nervous, embarrassed. And cement it into his memory for future use. Blackmail did come with some perks. And Nym not being able to resist a bet due to his pride sealed the deal. He just hoped the young man wouldn't be used by other crooks in the same way. Laughing at being told to jump in front of a carriage; the bakeneko hybrid easily swooped up the nose along with a stray ghostie that had fallen on the ground. Poor little green guy. Some freshling must have accidentally dropped it. It was easy to keep up with Nym, even with having a case of the chuckles and trying to keep aware of their surroundings. The short boy was so easy to follow, so easy to tease... Really, it was a surprise that he wasn't taken advantage yet. "I can't jump in front of a carriage---not when I drive one for you." he slowed, casually putting his arm around Nym's shoulder's as he gave him a side glance filled with mirth. "I can arrange for it to happen. I'm sure we have your toy carriages in the house somewhere..." he mused, contemplative. Not many toys or much of anything that had some use weren't thrown away. Why was Baby frowning? His cocked his head to the side, lips parting slightly. Baby rarely, if ever, frowned. Was it something someone said? His brows furrowed just slightly. Even Pancake stopped trying to wrangle himself away from Knox's dog like tail to look over. As soon as the frown was there, it faded into nothing. His ears twitched, perking up. Man, it must have been nothing at all! Momma always said that sometimes not to worry about the small things. A grin blossomed upon his lips as he looked at the other shade as he agreed. That was, until the other flitter rat came over. "Eaten?" he craned his head to look at the chirping flitter rat and gave them a huge smile. "He doesn't look like a tasty snack any! Look at his tail!" He held out his hand to let the flitter rat up on his hand. Pancake came over at the mere sound of sna and was there at -ck, sniffing at the flitter rat before turning his head away. "See? Even Pancake wasn't interested!" The shade tail dipped down and picked up a stray toothbrush on the ground and placed it in his mouth, saving it for later. INVENTORYTREATS: 14 Proof:

Tahir was enjoying himself, slithering from one game to the next, earning himself cute little goodies here and there. After all, he loved getting things, and most of these seemed free to little ones like him.
Goodies:
Honeycrisp played a simple game of guessing how many fingers a booth owner had behind their backs... and didn't manage to guess right. But he still got a little baggy of... squishy eyes!

Plague's eyes widened at Cure's honest declaration, which only caused the sniper and medic to fluster all the more. Tail winding around a slender leg, a smile couldn't help spreading more on his face. "They'll be cute like you..." he quietly echoed back. He wanted his babies to be just like Cure. After all he was unlike any other man Plague had ever met... and the best man he'd ever met.
He liked the prospect of the two of them having a matching pair of plushes. It had become so natural to want to have even more connection to one another since they'd become a couple. A happy nod was given to show his agreement, always so tickled when his partner thought of such things. The offered cotton candy was readily accepted with a sweet 'thank you' before leaning close to delicately nab the piece between Cure's fingers. It dissolved so quickly, but tasted so yummy~ Eyeing the game booth, when prompted, he reached for one of the nets, while watching the pattern and habits of the graceful skyfish. Tracking movements was his specialty after all... But just as he went to scoop one of the skyfish he'd had his eyes set on.... a flitterat flew right into his net just at the last second!
Shocked, Plague quickly pulled back the net to check on the little creature, who was wrestling and fussing around in the netting, "Oh gosh!" the small hybrid exclaimed with surprise, letting go of Cure's arm to try and help the poor critter get untangled. "where did you come from, little one?"

 Caspian was still disappointed that they hadn't yet gotten a plush, and decided that they would try one more time and if they didn't get it, then they just weren't meant for one. Looking around, they spotted a different vendor, this one with many differently colored nezubat plushies. The game seemed easy enough, all Caspian had to do was toss a ring onto one of the pegs that was sticking up, 3 rings per try.
So Caspian put down their money, and threw the first two rings, barely even getting around one let alone making it on one. They only had one more shot though at it and made sure to aim, then toss carefully. It took a few seconds, and the ring looked like it might bounce off, but after a moment stopped and was around the peg.
Caspian practically squealed as he chose one of the nezubat plushies and carefully put it in his bucket, making sure that it wouldn't fallout.Caspian's Stuff:

 It seemed that her target wasn't there, and Remiry thought about writing a letter to the person who had given her the job about how she would have to try sometime later since the information she had been given turned out to be false. She could wait until the end of the festival though, there was no point in giving up right now.
But it did at least mean that she could enjoy some of the activities a bit more, and so she decided to go for one of the many plushes she had seen being awarded as prizes.
She walked over to a booth, one that you had to hit a target for, and she decided that she would get a plush from it. Of course it was a bit hard since it was a dart-target, but in the end she eventually got it in the middle and was allowed a plush of her choosing.
She put it in her bucket, hoping that it might survive longer than a day with her nezubats and fennikit.Remiry's Crud

 Albert had eventually found a bench that he could rest on and watched the crowd of festival goers as they went through to explore everything. Even if he did enjoy simple things like this, he really wished that there were different types of vendors than what the limited amount they had here was. Sure, there was fast food, but there was also a variety of fast food. He wouldn't have minded something like an omelet if they were just willing to work with some eggs.
But that wasn't the point of this place, and Albert quietly decided that while he liked the fair, it would probably be much better to host a party with his wife at their mansion. And they could get anyone that was willing to cater to come too!Albert's Items:

 Brion had been standing around a bit awkwardly as he had tried to decide what he should investigate next. At least he had stayed on the side to do it instead of in the middle of the walkway. He had learned something about being rude in his short time of being alive. He decided to walk over to another trinket table, this one filled with simple ghost crafts that one could hang. He wasn't sure where one would hang it. A closet? A coat rack? A fan? He wasn't sure what the point was.
The vendor noticed that he had been staring and asked if the doll wanted one. Brion considered it for a moment before nodding his head yes and paying for one of the ghosts. Perhaps on his own he could learn what the point of such a thing was.

 Gale already had enough items, and he had barely been at the festival for a couple of hours! He had gone around to see if there was anyone he could possibly talk to, but it seemed that either no one noticed him, or they just weren't up to his standards. He sighed, his shoulders slumping as he moped around. Wasn't there anyone else like him here that he could at least talk to?!Gale's Items:

 After walking for a while, Loren had found a vendor who had little mystery pouches that one could pay for and they would get a random item. Luckily the items weren't that expensive, so Loren wasn't expecting any games from them or anything, and decided to pay for one and see what they got. The vendor handed Loren a bag, and the litch opened it to find! ... A toothbrush. Loren shrugged. At least they wouldn't have to pay for more toothbrushes soon. Or at least it could be used for purposes other than brushing teeth, like cleaning in hard-to-reach places.Loren's Stuff

 After getting the 2nd plush, Jay decided that they would just walk around the festival a bit, and see if they could get anything that would allow them to play a trick on their siblings. However, all the vendors that they passed seemed devoid of any tricks, which made Jay feel a bit glum. How were they supposed to prank their siblings now?! If they couldn't get anything here, that would mean they had to go to the store and buy the items, and that wasn't fun! Or free!
