He's that guy that's always there to "encourage" his Bro, Chimola, especially when his Bro is going to do something stupid and/or dangerous. And once he's had his laugh at his Bro, he'll go right ahead and do the same stupid thing, cause Bros stick together. He seems to take up more space then he actually does cause he's got such a big personality. He laughs long and loud, and isn't inclined to mope. If he is sad, his Bro can usually snap him out of it pretty quickly. Gwembeshe's mom was the kind of lioness who believed in free love, so he grew up around a lot of siblings and several dads. Sometimes the dads came and went (or his mom got sick of them and told them to leave), which taught him on thing: Chicks might turn their back on you, even if you love them, so you can't trust them. You've got to get another male to watch your back. He met Chimola a few months ago, when he decided it was time for him to leave his mom and his multiple siblings and his many dads to find somewhere that wasn't defined by how you were related to his mom. He met Chimola when he was sunbathing off the beach, and watching some lovely young females splashing in the water - Chimola happened to be doing the same thing. Recognizing a kindred spirit in each other, they've been each other's wingman ever since.

Welchenos has an inquiring mind, and inquiring minds want to know. They want to know things like what'll mommy do if I go for a swim while she's not watching me? What does that bird want? Why did that bird take my fish? What will my brother do if I bury him in seaweed? What'll Daddy say when he finds out I buried him in seaweed?
It isn't that he's always bad, or even always loud or excitable. He's just as inquisitive when it comes to questions like Why do whales sing? He loves to investigate, and he really is sorry if he scares his parents - but it won't occur to him that he scared them the next time something needs investigating. He can't leave any stone unturned, and he's not the type to sit by while others are having fun or learning. He absorbs information very quickly. Gradually, he'll focus his mind and his inquisitive nature for the benefit of the pride.
