"Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme Jace exited from the room of his last class. He felt inspired by the knowledge that many plateaus of power sat before him. If becoming stronger than everyone and making great change were easy, there would be no thrill or excitement to it. The feeling of earning it would be completely lost. Jace let himself become enamored by the prospect of a power great enough to impact history. Surely there had to be a plateau higher than that, though. Jace was certain of it. A place above all the rest just waiting for him to achieve it. Jace let out a heavy breath trying to relieve himself of the excitement and focus on his next class. The next class happened to be geography. "I wonder what awaits me in Geography." Jace thought to himself as he watched Radagon pull open the door to that very class. Jace followed in toe and grabbed the door as he let it go.
Just as with the last class, Jace found himself in a similar classroom setup, sitting beside Radagon and preparing to take notes and answer questions. Jace didn't bother putting his notebook or pen away from the last class. Instead he had carried them with him, tucked under his arm. It made little sense to Jace to spend the extra effort putting them away if he were just going to use them again so soon. Jace flipped the page to a blank sheet and tapped the pen upon the edge of the notebook paper. Jace propped his elbow on the desk and leaned his head in it. The teacher waited for the start time before beginning class. This time Jace had not paid any particular attention to students that followed in after him. Jace released a light yawn and the teacher glanced over at him. He quickly adjusted himself to sit up and waited on the assignment. There was a chart tacked up to the left side of the chalkboard. The teacher took a pointer stick and began to gesture towards points on the map while giving some verbal descriptions and relations of the related areas.
It would seem that Fire Country's forest actually extended into Rice Field Country's territory. It explained how Radagon and Jace so easily found themselves in the forest despite being in a country named for his lush farm worthy fields. As the teacher moved the pointer in circular motions around sound, she explained that it's geography was made up of unique factors from the surrounding countries. The borders of each country carried over some of their own unique terrain, even if only just some. The teacher moved from border to border explaining the terrains and how the country was much more flexible than it looked at first sight. This could serve the country well if ever confronted with conflict from an outside force. Jace became enamored as she pointed to various areas around the Sound and explained some general workings. It seemed there were even hidden caverns and tunnels in Sound. It was the first Jace had ever heard of. He grew up in the village and was still only twelve. There was a lot more out there for him to explore. He felt a drawing urge to visit these places, but he also knew they were much more dangerous than they appeared through a chart and explanations. Jace noticed that Radagon also seemed intrigued by the workings of their country and it's borders. It might even be subject worthy should they get a chance to talk. The teacher put down the pointer after a quick glance at the clock and announced that the close had come to a close. Jace felt a bit dissatisfied with the conclusion of the class, but it simply meant that there was more left over for the coming days. Quote: Notes

As the class continued on, Kuro found himself slowly getting a second wind. The unfortunate part of the process was that the topic was still nothing he was interested, so in turn the energy he felt like he was getting was thus being wasted on being bored and still tired. At this point Kuro had just finished his first section of notes, and moved the paper up so he could work on the next section. About fifteen minutes through the class, it appeared as if this class was going to drag though a pool of thick sludge on how slow it was going by. His neck started to gain a kink in it, so to release that slight pain Kuro turned his head both left and right. At this point though he noticed that the blackmailer Miyuki was sitting relatively close to him, but she was just staring at him. He had absolutely no idea on whether this was good or bad, but knowing what he knew about her it probably wasn't all that good. A few minutes later though he heard something come from her. He knew it was her because he remembered her voice from her earlier blackmailing. Even though she was willing to get in trouble for talking in class, he wasn't so inclined to do the same. He was going to answer her question though. Taking a small scrap piece of paper he wrote his answer on it, and placed in it his hand so that it would face which ever way his palm was facing but would also be flat against it as well. 'Tired and Bored' was the reply in which he placed under his jaw facing the young female while he continued to pay attention to what there instructor had to say.
Soon though, the class would whined down to an end and with that all papers were gathered and placed into his pack. Slinging it over his shoulder, Kuro made sure to walk by Miyuki before exiting the class and quietly stated "I don't know why you think I owe you anything... not like I asked you to attempt to save me from a punishment..." He left it there unless she decided continue it. It was true that he never asked her for her help and why the blackmailing ever started in the first place.

"Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme Jace flipped the page in his notebook and tucked it under his arm for holding till he reached the next class. Scooping up his bag, he quickly rose and followed Radagon out of the room, though they had yet to exchange any words yet. It seemed as though they were both focused on the task of catching up on their work. It was rather evident at this point that Sai sensei had not been kidding when he told the class they had fallen behind on their work. They were exploring a wide variety of classes now and learning plenty of interesting and useful stuff. Jace silently followed Radagon down the hall and into the next class, where they would again resume what almost seemed like a force of habit at this point. Radagon would get comfortable in the center desk, and Jace would sit in a seat adjacent to Radagon's. Most often he found himself to Radagon's left, but seats weren't reserved and Jace would have to make due in any case where someone arriving earlier than him were to claim his normal seat.
Jace got comfortable, dropping his bag in the normal spot and preparing his pen and paper for use on the topic. This time he was in a mathematics class. It was sure to carry some value, but Jace couldn't help feeling it might be one of the most tedious classes he would have to deal with. Jace found the room a bit peculiar compared to the prior classes. The desks were arranged differently like a half circle surrounding the teacher's desk. Jace glanced around the room at the peculiarities, fellow students, and teacher's setup alike. Jace let out a light sigh and sat himself beside Radagon like normal. Preparing, he placed his pen and notebook on the desk and tossed his bag to the side. "Hmm.." Jace said as he looked over the questions written out on the chalkboard. The questions varied in subject, but remained constant to the use of numbers. They were almost inviting simple answers, but just the same they also made Jace have to really think it through. Jace was thankful for the mind bestowed upon him by his father's genetics, but he still had a ways to go in order to hone it's potential. It was interesting to see how the problems were written. Mathematics is an essential part of learning and understanding. It's an abstract study of topics encompassing quantity, structure, space, change, and other properties. It has no acknowledged general definition because it is always changing and expanding upon.
The teacher began the class shortly into their arrival. The first of their required learning was the most basic of math. These basic factors are Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. The teacher began giving a brief explanation of these basics before she decided to ask questions to the class. It was then the teacher noticed a classmate who had fallen asleep in the class. The student happened to be a fellow classmate by the name of Shiro. The teacher wasted no time in tasking the tired classmate with a question. Despite the student's tired demeanor, she answered correctly. This seemed to aggrivate the math teacher, who erased some problems off the board before lobbing the eraser at the girl. It hit square on, but it was still a rather light item. Jace counted the classmate lucky that something with more density/mass wasn't thrown instead and returned his focus onto the subject at hand. He continued to jot down general notes about the basics of mathematics and keeping on the teacher's good side.
Shortly following, the class had come to an end and the teacher waved their hand in dismissal of the students. Jace yawned lightly as he stood up from his seat. Quote: Notes

"Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme Jace collected his notebook and pen along with his bag and moved on from the room to the hallway alongside Radagon once more. It seemed as though the sessions between classes were cut and dry routines. Jace looked over to notice a water fountain. They were about to pass it by, but Jace cut back and leaned over it. Pressing the bar on it's front in, a small stream of water would rise in front of Jace. He took a good long drink before letting the bar go and releasing a hefty sigh of relief. Now refreshed, Jace hurried to catch up to Radagon, who now stood at the door of their next class. The two entered and upon looking around, Jace would notice that they desk to on the opposite side of the room from them. There was plenty of room to move around. It seemed this teacher also enjoyed the freedom of walking about as they lectured. Things were still relatively new to Jace, so he simply followed routine and assumed station beside Radagon in wait for class to start. The class was Penmanship and Literature. Jace was relieved to find something a little more so plain and smooth to deal with. The math had been pretty easy, but it wouldn't remain that way forever. Atleast with literature, he felt like despite the pending change in pace, he could comfortably handle it.
Jace waited a while, glancing up at the clock every few minutes. His pen and paper ready for any note-taking that was bound to take place. It seemed a bit peculiar. Class was supposed to start minutes prior and the teacher was no where to be found. After a short while the teacher had finally entered the room. She introduced herself as 'Sumer'. It sounded a little odd, but then again, there weren't many standard names going around Sound. The teacher had nice red hair. A minor fact, but one worth noticing. Jace prepared his pen as the teacher began class. She described literature as the 'art of written words.' She continued by stating that the very definition of the word meant 'things made from letters.' Jace had a pleasant feeling about the atmosphere. The teacher was laid back enough to wind up late for her own class and yet she stayed on a steady topic giving good insight into the meaning of their studies. She would then explain to the class that the two major forms of literature were Fictional and Non-Fictional. It seemed pretty self explanatory, so the teacher moved on to the writing styles. The two styles of writing were poetry and prose. Poetry was a writing written in verse. Poetry was written normally in patterns or rhythms, or different syllables. The difficulty in explaining poetry was high due to the massive diversity of such. Prose were historical and scientific writings. She explained that most prose were classified as fictional to separate the factual writing and make it easier to see. Labeling prose as non-fiction meant that it was written to explain history. Prose itself was now divided into two sub-categories. These categories are philosophy and history. The teacher explained the two categories one at a time. She explained that philosophy was argued on being on the grounds of prose literature and was backed by the use of logic and mathematical view.
The teacher continued on to explain that literature was a large part of history and played a role in recording data or giving out correct data. She explained that it wasn't always the quality needed and that the quality was most often only found in particular segments. The teacher finished up the class by assigning some questions as homework. Jace quickly took down the questions with reasonable space between, but before he could begin answering them, the teacher dismissed the group. The next destination: Lunch. Quote: Notes

Miyuki was looking intently at the piece of paper in front of her as she continued to scribble notes. The lecture was long but nearing its end. The girl was so preoccupied she almost didn’t notice when Kuro flashed a note stating ‘tired and bored’. The young girl could understand that sentiment. This class was dragging on forever. The instructor managed to touch briefly over the entire time period they would be covering over this next semester. Miyuki was startled as the bell rang which signified the end of this class, as well as the start of her next class which was Geography. The girl was busy collecting her belongings when she was approached by Kuro. She had not actually been aware of his presence until he had declared, “I don't know why you think I owe you anything... not like I asked you to attempt to save me from a punishment...” The young girl slung the messenger bag across her shoulder and then, she turned around to face him. “Honestly,” Miyuki began walking towards the classroom door, “I would not have cared if not for the fact you dipped out of the punishment.” The young girl shuddered involuntary at the recollection of that day’s events. Miyuki came to an abrupt halt once outside the doorway. She shook her head from one side to the other. There was no need to worry about such matters anymore because Yoshinaga-sensei was gone! She looked back towards Kuro waiting to see if they were going to proceed to the next class together. These classes had already become boring and having some company might not be a bad thing. She was not completely fond of Kuro but hey, any company would be better than sitting through one of those classes again. "Speak Not of The Warden... For only horrors shall follow..." An ominous would ring out in the mind of Kuro in warning. Quote: Word Count: 297 History Class Word Count: 751/600 Total Word Count: 3897

Shiro sat quietly meditating for awhile doing whatever she could to focus and control her chakra, while having very little concept on how to actually accomplish that feat. However her stomach eventually broke the silence as it let out a loud groan her eyes opened and she let out a sigh. It was time for lunch. Shiro popped up to her feet and gathered her things "Time for food Bou." she states with a grin before heading quickly and quietly off for the cafeteria, judging by other sounds she heard it was about time for lunch to begin. Shiro felt quite satisfied that she had skipped the class entirely unnoticed. Shiro made her way down the hall quickly so she could get to the cafeteria ahead of as many of the other students as possible so she could get her choice of lunch items. Shiro dropped into the lunch line, awful close to the front of the line a big grin on her face as she picked up her fairly sturdy tray so she could start gathering lunch foods a grin wide across her face as she looked over the different choices. However she something took her attention for a bit as she noticed their new teacher Sai was in the cafeteria at the vending machine, but he wasn't the only sensei in the room. She tipped her head to the side curiously. However as she paid attention for a bit it didn't seem that out of the ordinary. Shiro shrugged it off as she found a table to sit at placing her tray out in front of her. She clapped her hands together "Itadakimasu~!" she chimes brightly before taking the steamed meat bun from her pack and dropping it on the tray as well, now her meal was complete. Kuro stopped to listen to what Miyuki had to say about him not owing her anything. The thing was though that he didn't remember ever dipping out of any sort of punishment, the last thing he remembered was just telling Yoshinaga that he'd used his skills to get out of the test and then it goes black until the hellish nightmare started. He was about to state his whole side of the story when a voice came over his thoughts like a light yet brisk wind telling him to not to tell her anything that happened. There was a chill that rushed down his spine in which made him decide to change what he was going to say. It seemed that they would be walking together to the next class, and she wasn't seeming so bad now that they were actually talking things through and she wasn't barking any blackmail at him. "Well... If I was truly in trouble for anything, I'm sure that I would have been stopped before actually leaving." He stated as they moved to the next class, which happened to be Geography. Letting out a sigh, Kuro continued into the class and noticed that there was a few desks that were empty yet again. Kuro attempted to find a seat in which was in the middle to back area of the class just last time. Once sat down, he realized that class was going to start shortly so he placed his backpack on the ground and took out another bundle of paper in which he was getting ready for more note taking in something he also had little interest in, but knew that it was mandatory in order to catch up to the other classes.

While Miyuki and Kuro walked to their next class, the young girl listened attentively to what Kuro had to say about their experience during the rope tying and untying exam. Though, she was still very conscientious of the hallways, as well as other physical landmarks that would lead them to the correct classroom. To be honest, the girl was looking forward to Geography. While it would certainly be a boring classroom experience, the information would be extremely valuable when the time came to perform missions. “If I was truly in trouble for anything,” Kuro declared in defense of his previous actions, “I am sure that I would have been stopped before actually leaving.” Miyuki covered her mouth as she began to giggle. The girl was left damn near speechless by such a sad and farfetched excuse for his actions. Her laughter began to grow more boisterous. In result, her face color altered to a vivid shade of red. “Were you even there?” Miyuki taunted the young boy unconsciously. “Do you think this is a joke?” The young girl continued vehemently. The interaction she had with Kuro recently only instilled a further dislike for the boy. He continued to jest while in her presence while referring to a situation which would probably haunt Miyuki for the rest of her life. Fortunately for Kuro and Miyuki, they happened across the entrance to Geography class. Miyuki quieted down for the time being. The young girl crossed the threshold of the classroom looking intensely around the room for somewhere more suitable to sit than in Kuro’s company. She sighed in defeat realizing that there was nowhere that she could sit that would be far enough away. The girl sat down a seat away from the boy letting her messenger bag fall to the floor. Miyuki bent over grabbing necessary items from her messenger bag. She attempted to ready herself for the upcoming class. She needed to concentrate during the Geography lesson. This would likely be a lesson that could save her life one day. A person who knew the lay of the land was a person who had the upper hand in battle. The two peers had only a few moments before the lessons were to begin. The instructor took his place at the front of the class calling out names marking attendance. The young girl looked over her shoulder towards Kuro with a look of aversion. She wasn’t ready to hear anything that the boy had to say; however, she did not know anything of his experience during that class. Maybe he had somewhere to be? Maybe something had happened to someone important to him? These were all possibilities; though, Miyuki was fairly confident that these were not the circumstances. Hattori walked down the hallway. He thumbed through his bag and drew out his notebook. This particular notebook was red. In a small white box at the bottom, ‘History of Oto’ was written in black pen. Hattori opened the notebook, and flipped to the first page. Taped to the back of the cover was a sheet of notebook paper with blocks etched with red, blue, green, and black inks.
He put his finger to the page, read what was there, then closed the booklet with a nod.
“Just down the hall,” the young Fuuma said. Hattori slipped the notebook back into his bag and walked into class.
Hattori walked into the History of Otogakure room for the first time. He recently got bumped up a class because of his excellent grades in History, so he was guaranteed to learn something as opposed to rereading the same history lessons he knew three times over.
When he stepped into the room, the Fuuma took a good look around. There were portraits of famous shinobi on the walls, and posters depicting the strategies behind crucial battles in the last Great Ninja War. The desks were arranged in the usual format, there were six rows and six desks in each row. While there was enough room for thirty six students, it was likely there would be no more than twenty students.
While it may have seemed a tad wasteful, the bonus desks gave Hattori the choice to any seat he wanted without fear of someone giving him a hard time. Hattori took a seat in the dead center of the classroom. Sitting in the center of the room was his favorite spot. At the center of the room, he could equally pay attention and avoid suspicion if he wasn’t. No instructor ever paid close attention to the students who sat in the center.
Soon after Hattori took his seat, the History of Otogakure instructor entered the room. In a weird sort of way, he kind of reminded Hattori of his former sensei, Yoshinaga. First impressions aside, the teacher revealed himself to be entirely different than the lecherous old man. For one, he began the class by actually teaching something. Unlike previous instructors, who p***y footed around some of the darker aspects of Otogakure’s history, this sensei began the class with it.
Hattori’s first lesson was to be about the old days of the village, and the invasion of Konohagakure. In those days, Hattori was taught, Orochimaru was still the leader of the village. He forged a false alliance with the Hidden Sand Village from Wind Country. He created the alliance by killing and impersonating the Fourth Kazekage with the help of his most trusted students. Like the puppeteers that Sand was so famous for, Orochimaru had full control of Sand. With his two entire ninja armies, Orochimaru made an attack on the Leaf during their Chuunin Exams. Orochimaru used the invasion on Konohagure as a chance to challenge and kill the Third Hokage. While he did succeed in this respect, he failed in fully invading and conquering the Leaf.
While the teacher began to go into the specific reasons for an overall defeat for Otogakure and Sunagakure, Hattori began to doodle in his red History notebook. Like in the previous class, he started to doodle a ninja weapon. He drew the little double circles of a finger-ring first. A rectangular handle was added tangent to it. Once he reached that point, Hattori tapped at his chin. He wasn’t entirely sure what kind of kunai he wanted to sketch.
As it turned out, it didn’t matter. The bell signaling the end of the period rung, and Hattori was out of that place in a flash!

Hattori walked out of the History class and into the hall. As soon as he got out of the room, he drew his red History notebook from his bag again, and flipped to the front page. His finger tapped against the name of his second class.
“Geography…” he read. He scanned the room number, and ran it through his memory, “Oh! That’s just a few hallways away.” Hattori put the notebook away, and strolled off to his next class.
The young Fuuma got to the classroom, and scanned the people who were already there. A grin spread across his face, some of his classmates from Home Room were there. He recognized one of them as the girl who jumped up in class so enthusiastically that morning. Her name was Miyuki, if he was remembering correctly. The other one he remembered from the knot-tying classes. His name was Kuro.
Hattori walked over to them and took a seat. Nonchalantly, he slipped into discussion with them, “So, what did you guys think of that Sai-Sensei guy this morning?”

~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Now that literature was over, Radagon saw that the time was for lunch. Once he had packed everything back into his pack, Radagon got up with the rest of the class and headed out the door for the cafeteria. As Radagon walked along, he noticed some of the others already heading for lunch. Not really paying attention to what they were doing, Radagon walked to the double doors of the cafeteria and walked in. Though he was hungry, Radagon had a moment of being alert when he saw that several teachers from earlier in the day were standing around the doors and leaning against walls. Radagon thought it was strange for the teachers to be acting like this, and assumed something must have been up. Radagon noticed Sai standing over by the snack machine, chomping down on some chips that he had in his hands. Though Radagon began to walk over to him, one look from that blood red eye, made him turn right around and head for the drink machine over at the other wall. Whatever it was, Sai-Sensei was clearly not about to discuss it with anyone. Radagon was unsure of whether or not he should be alert. There was alot of teachers standing around, so whatever was up was sure to be handled easily.
Though there were teachers around for any sort of event, Radagon was on alert, since there was simply so many teachers standing guard. --------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Post Words: 217 Total Words: 18669

Checking his schedule, Hizen saw that geography was his next class. ”Ugh… How boring will this be? Although, I expected history to be boring and it was rather interesting. Maybe geography will be interesting too. I hope so. Otherwise, I may not be able to stay awake.” Finding the classroom listed on the schedule, Hizen moved into the classroom along with a few other students. Finding a seat towards the middle of the classroom, Hizen pulled out the scroll he had been taking notes on. Seeing that it was almost full with just notes from history, Hizen searched his bag and retrieved a new scroll and pen to take notes. ”Damn. I’m going to need more scrolls at this rate. Hopefully there won’t be as many notes to take or something.”Hizen looked around as several more students walked in and sat down. He recognized some of them from his classes with Yoshinaga sensei. ”They must be just as behind as I am. Well, we’ll catch up together I suppose.” The professor began the lecture just as the other students found their seats. Pulling down the map of the continent, the professor turned towards the class. ”As you can see, Rice Field country is a small country compared to the others of the world. Especially the ‘big five’ shinobi village countries. However, this does not mean that we are without charm. Today we will go over some of the geographical features of our great nation, which you will be expected to have memorized before the next class…”As the professor droned on, Hizen found himself struggling to stay awake. His eyelids felt heavy and drooped downwards even as he tried to take notes on the geography of the country he had lived his whole life in. He felt his head drop forward which caused him to wake up again. ”No. You have got to stay awake. The higher ups wouldn’t make you take this class if they didn’t think it was important information for you to know.” Try as he might, though, Hizen could not keep himself from drifting off and either falling asleep or daydreaming, thinking about the history he had learned in the last class. Hizen found himself imagining the battle between the Sound and its Sand allies and their Leaf Village foes. He knew that the shinobi of the Leaf were formidable foes. After all, it’s where his father’s ancestors had come from originally. Hizen had never seen the streets of the Uchiha’s ancestral home, he could very well imagine fighting in the streets of his own home. The thought caused a shudder to run through him, making him a little ashamed of his Village’s history. ”But, it was war. If it comes to it, I may be ordered to undertake a similar mission. While I never want to kill people I don’t have to, especially the civilians, but in a time of war, when the lives of my companions depend on it, I think I could do that. It at least gives me some understanding of the shinobi who followed the Orochimaru b*****d in his attack on the Leaf. Even if I don’t like it.”Hizen looked up from his contemplations to realize that the instructor was finishing up the lesson and assigning homework. ”Well… I hate to waste my time with a class I won’t learn much from, but this is so boring compared to the history of our nation that I was learning in the last lesson. I need to do better at paying attention to the instructor’s lesson. Otherwise, I’ll fail the class and have to take it again. Ugh… That would suck.” The bell signaling the end of the period sounded and Hizen packed his things and headed out with the rest of the students. "Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme Jace gathered up his belongings once more and shuffled out of the classroom with the rest of the students. He had allowed himself to get caught up in thought about some of the other subjects they studied that day. This resulted in losing track of Radagon and getting separated for a while. Jace walked down the hall till he came to the open doors to the cafeteria / lunch room. Jace followed on through with the rest of the students and eventually found himself in line for the cafeteria food. Jace couldn't afford to make desirable home made lunches, so he settled with the free lunch offered at the academy. It was a life saver for someone of Jace's family's financial issues. Jace often only went on a single meal a day to ensure savings and progress. Jace yawned as he glanced around the cafeteria looking for familiar faces. The line moved up a few feet at a time and Jace found himself reaching into a mini cooler for a miniature carton of milk before taking notice of Radagon, who seemed concerned about something. Jace's eyes glanced over to Sai, who leaned against the snack machine enjoying a lunch of his own.
Jace was taking interest in the growing expression of concern from Radagon, but it had not grown fast enough before a kid from behind him shoved him forward down the line a few steps. He had forgot to keep moving and wound up blocking the line. Jace managed to catch himself and remain standing. His anger began to swell a degree and the thought of Radagon's concerned demeanor all but left his mind. Jace grabbed hold of a tray sitting in the line with a sandwich on it, and moved a little farther down the line, picking up a cup of rice and an apple. Jace's section of the line was coming up on the end where the kids were marked down for collecting the public lunch. Jace looked back at the kid behind him and then forward to the lady who was distracted handling the kids ahead. He turned to the tray ledge where they slid their trays down the line and removed all his stuff from the tray very subtly. He pulled the tray free and then whipped around and popped the kid behind him in the face with the backside of the tray. The kid stumbled back and caused some minor problems with those behind him. Jace immediately resumed the position and fixed his tray up properly. The evidence hidden on the bottom of the tray. Jace quicked down the line in the confusion and a moment following, left the end of the checkout to find a seat in the back closer to the windows where he could eat and enjoy the view. Jace sat himself down firmly and slowly began to lose himself in thought as he fiddled with the food using his utensils. Quote: Notes

As Takuya traversed through the hallway his mind was not filled with the thoughts of his new homeroom teacher. Instead he shoved his hand into his pocket, running the pad of his thumb lightly over the figurines that rested there. He was not the first to arrive into the first class, which was the History of Sound. Withdrawing his hand he sighed, sitting down and readying his materials once more to take notes during the class. Inside the desk the books that they had been using sat, worn and tattered from years of academy use. Placing it on his desk he flipped it open, ignoring the text and rather looking at the old notes and doodles left behind by other students. The textbook’s legacy as it was. Only when the instructor entered the room did he bother to turn his attention upwards, watching as he scrawled in rough letters on the scratch book page numbers. Once he finished he set down the chalk, turning to the students before repeating what he wrote,
“Please read pages 42-76. Once you are done fill out the questions at the end of the chapter and then turn them into me.” Sitting down he leaned back, kicking up his feet onto the desk and picking up a paper, effectively shutting the students out from questioning him too much. With a sigh Takuya looked to the page, torn and dog-eared in the corner. While he almost preferred his liberal arts teachers to be more lax, this one in particular frustrated him. Often he made things unclear, and was looking for specific answers even if the one you gave was right by technicality.
Leaning forwards Takuya propped his elbow on the desktop, resting his face in his hands before starting to read the texts. It was all general knowledge things for those who had been raised in Sound, the history was brief compared to other villages, so a lot of the information covered was of the land itself and how it became the ‘prestigious’ sound country. Most of it was a discussion on how sound became the sanctuary for talented ninja, and how the shinobi were so diverse. It continued on to talk about the Medical prowess, and the many medical advances that sound was responsible for. By page fifty his attention was wandering once again, and he could not stop thinking about his time in the hall.
Although everything had gone back to something relatively normal, Takuya hated the continuity of life sometimes. The hallway had introduced an element of surprise and wonder, and now with it gone he wondered what challenge he would face next. Blinking he looked back down to the texts, realizing that perhaps his problem would be finishing his classes themselves.
It took much longer for Takuya to finish reading the chaper, and by the time he had the questions messily scrawled on the page other students were already exiting the classroom. Fist clenched tight around his pencil he realized that he would need to do a lot of referencing for this particular “pop quiz” Flipping back and forth through pages until he found the answers it was at least another thirty minutes before Takuya was satisfied with his answers. Not wanting to fail any of his classes, he checked it over once more just for good measure.
Satisfied he packed up his supplies, slinging his bag over his shoulder before making his way up to the instructor. Quietly he set the paper down on the already established stack. The Sensei, without even looking away from his paper spoke. “Homework is to fill out the worksheet and write a one page report on a particular part of Otogakure history. The worksheet is due next class and the paper will be due in a week. Turning the page Takuya took his lack of further instruction as his clearance to go and without another word Takuya exited the class, heading to his next class which seemed it would be Geography.

The class was a drag, just like he thought it was. It was definitely more interesting and helpful then the history of the country though as it could easily be used in setting up traps for those who would attempt to invade an area, or even the fact that they could use this information to see where the most likely place for their foes to set traps up against them. There was a thought that was in his mind though and that was they young girl thought that he was joking. He wasn't joking, he didn't catch on how Yoshinaga was acting after he blacked out but from the way that Miyuki was acting though it seemed that it wasn't all that good. He was surprised that his parents never acted up on this fact though because he knew that his parents would have chewed him a new one for a fact. Putting this thought in the back of his mind, mainly because this professor seemed to face his students more then the last one, he looked over his notes while the instructor was going slightly off topic to make sure he understood what was being taught to them. Just as he was going to ask a question though, the bell rung and everyone started to pack their things and get ready for there next class. Kuro figured that he'd make a note of it later and ask the instructor next class. Packing his things he looked over to Miyuki and shook his head. "I wasn't joking. If I truly was in trouble you think I'd want to make our homeroom sensei mad at me? My-lord, my parents would kill me if that happened and they found out I was in it deep..." It was this moment that he remembered that he'd been asked a question from another one of his homeroom class-mates. He couldn't remember his name at the moments, but it might come up later in conversation anyways. It turned out that he had also taken a seat close to both him and Miyuki. Looking over to him, he decided that he should answer him. "I'm sorry, wasn't trying to ignore you. It just was the teacher was going to start class really soon. As for Sai-Sensei, I'm not sure yet with an opinion on him. Barely gotten to know what he's like and the such."
