All pre-existing effects for students in the class have been removed.

With a lofty sigh, a young man paced his way through the school hallways as he toted under his arm a plank of wood and a box of tools. He was dressed in all black with a blood red, skinny tie that matched his single good eye, his other eye hidden behind a black eye patch. His hair was wildly strewn and colored a deep purple. Being rather late for his destination, he couldn't find it in him to care too much, he was never a fan of children and after being called off a mission to teach them he would more then happy to be terminated from the job early. Sure it wouldn't look good on his resume, but it the worth of it on a personal level would leverage out the hit taken.

Reaching the door of the class room, now a good quarter of an hour late, the man tilted his head to where the door said Yoshinaga. That wouldn't do, now would it? Setting down the tool box, he held up the plank of wood to the door and positioned it so it would cover the name. Swiftly he would reach down for some nails and with skillful fingers line each nail up to a corner of the plank before screwing it in with brute force. Smiling, he leaned back and took a mental picture of the improved door, the name Orasakai painted in maroon paint on it.

Lifting up the toolbox, the man knocked on the door and entered the room, leaving the door open so the plank could be seen by all the students. Standing before them at the middle desk, he set down his toolbox and cleared his throat to gather their attention. "Good morning class." He said plainly as he fetched a piece of paper from the toolbox, his single blood red eye scanning it quickly before continuing, "Well to begin things, I will be relieving Yoshinaga from his duties as your teacher. He will be transferring.... Ah hell, we all know he was a twisted, lecherous old man and he was caught putting his hand in the cookie jar." A harsh laugh rolled out of the man as he tossed the paper aside, "In any case, I am your new teacher.. for now. My name is Sai Orasakai, you may call me Sai Sensai... Now, can anyone tell me where you guys left off in class?"

The classroom door was briskly opened by a younger man whom was foreign to the class. Miyuki was caught by surprise inspecting the newest addition to the room. Was he another student enrolling late? They had seen it often enough during the course of the year. It was at that moment that the young girl noticed that the door name plate no longer consisted of the name Yoshinaga. She inhaled deeply holding her breath as the unfamiliar face began to speak. The man gave a quick introduction referring to himself as Sai Orasakai, as well as announcing that he was replacing Yoshinaga-sensei.

Miyuki was ecstatic by this most unexpected news. It would be a welcome and refreshing change beyond the male students’ comprehension. “Yes!” Miyuki stood up clenching her fist in the air with no concern for the atmosphere. After fully relishing the moment, the young girl looked around the classroom noticing the eyes of her peers which just stared at her. She began to blush furiously while averting her eyes to concentrate on the floor beneath her. The girl decided to take advantage of the moment looking up towards her new sensei, “I would love to be of assistance. We had just finished testing our knowledge of several different knots and how to escape them.” After finishing speaking, the girl repositioned the hair obstructing her view in her face to behind her ears. She wanted to be sure that the teacher had no further questions.

Once fairly confident, the girl sat back down in her seat looking towards Loric whom sat at her side. She whispered to him, “Whooops. I hope I did not offend anyone by being so happy about Yoshinaga being gone.” The words were barely audible. If not for the two sitting so close, it probably would have seemed that she was only mouthing the words. The girl let out a quiet chuckle to herself thoroughly enjoying the knowledge of never having to see that lecherous monster in class again; however, Miyuki would have to play quietly until she got a grasp of the new sensei. She wanted to understand his personality and how it would affect her experience in the class, as well as habits that she could use to her advantage.

Once Shiro was situated in her seat Bou hopped down to curl up under her desk and nap as he preferred to do. She giggled lightly nudging the little dog lightly with her foot "You little bum." she coos quietly Bou yawned in response, but seemed to brighten up some when Loric entered the classroom, it meant that Bou was going to get to visit with Rizu some which apparently made the pup happy. Bou sniffed Rizu in return once Rizu had finished sniffing.
Shiro tipped back in her seat and yawned glancing up to the wall clock taking note that their sensei was uncharacteristically late. Not that she minded the sensei was kind of a weirdo. As she was thinking this someone new entered the room her nose twitched and hear ears turned towards him which was eventually followed by turning her head to look in his direction. The name placard was changed, Orasaki, it read in maroon. She tipped her head some and took in the appearance of the new person. Her question as to who he was and what he was doing here was quickly answered as he introduced himself as the new teacher for their class, apparently Yoshinaga had been kicked out or something for being a pervert. She smirked slightly but was surprised when the girl who Yoshi seemed to have been targeting let out a, perhaps overzealous, cry of excitement over that news. Shiro giggled slightly almost falling out of her chair as she had tipped just a little too far back. She leaned forward and acquired balance on the back to legs of the chair before it fell over. She let out a slow sigh as she lowered the chair to sit on all four legs again. Shiro would have answered this Sai Sensei's question but her classmate Miyuki beat her to the punch so she decided to just wait and see what Sai had in store for them.

Being the only one in the classroom didn't last long as students started to pile into the room one after another. Only one truly caught his attention though as she was the only one to actually make notice of him. It was Shiro, the female Inuzuka that was in the dreaded nightmare that him and about half of their class was put threw. Then again, the reason she might have actually noticed him was because she was the first one after him to enter the classroom. Turning over to face her directly he watched as she sat in a seat that was pretty much directly behind him. As others started to make their way in he decided to make some conversation with her. "Hey, how are you? feeling alright after what happened yesterday?" He really didn't know what to think of saying but figured that was good enough for now.

Soon though his attention was pulled over to another girl who had noticed his pressence. This was the female who seemed to have the teacher in her pocket, and was also the one he possessed in the knot escaping test. She seemed cheerful enough as she made her way over to him, so he turned to face her feeling another conversation coming up while not ignoring Shiro at the same time. Sudden annoyance came about him though as before he could answer, she was grabbing and pulling his cheeks in a way that a grandmother or an annoying brother would. While she did this, she spoke about what happened the other day and her bad attempt at defending him even though he hadn't asked her to do such a thing. Stating that she didn't try to save him from his fate due to being a hero or anything, and that he'd owe her big time. Kuro just gave the young girl a cold glare as he was now irritated by this girl, and this was the first time she'd spoken to him. She then released his cheeks and then chimed something about having a Yamanaka in her pocket. There was no way that he owed her, and he had no plan on re-paying her. But... he wasn't going to get into an argument about it ether. He just continued to glare at her silently as she patted the side of his face and then took a seat in her usual spot.

He was about to turn back to the female Inuzuka but at this point in time the class was pretty much full and some new people were also in the room. One of them started to adress the whole class as he stood in front of all the students, clearly older then all of them. It seemed that this new person would be taking the spot as teacher from Yoshinaga and his name was Sai Orasaki. He turned all the way in his seat to respectfully face the new teacher and figured that him and Shiro would continue on with their conversation later on once classes were finished, that was if ether of them would remember at the end of class. The moment that Sai had announced that he was taking over for Yoshinaga, the annoying young girl that had almost indirectly blackmailed Kuro shot up from her seat with pure delight about the situation. Kuro could only stare at her making a fool of herself with an light shake of his head and a small grin as karma bit her in the rear for him. She tried to save herself slightly by stating where they had left off in their training. Kuro just continued to sit in his chair watching as the young yet busty female tried to save herself and re-take her seat, there was no point in answering since she'd already done that for the class. So instead he just thought of was to try and get himself out of what ever that little evil female had planned for him, as he wasn't interested in doing her any favors.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~

Radagon soon heard the door begin to turn again, and quickly sat straight before the door opened, assuming that it might be the teacher. Instead, it was a few of his fellow students. One of the students ended up being Jace, the young man who had joined Radagon in helping to stop the rats of unusual size. Radagon wondered if Jace was alright, as he had bowed to the desk of the teacher, when they were not there. In any case, as the teacher had not arrived into the class just yet, Radagon leaned back into his chair and watched as Jace walked on over to a desk that was right next to Radagon. Radagon noticed that Jace was clutching a paper in his hand, what he assumed must be his transfer letter or something to explain why he hadn't showed up in class for a few days.

Radagon was about to say something to Jace, when he heard the door being opened. Sitting back into his seat correctly, Radagon watched the door open and expect Yoshi-sama to walk through. Instead another person that Radagon didn't know walked through. Taking a look at the man who walked into the class, Radagon was sure this wasn't a student. The man had deep purple hair, wore all black, and had a eye patch. Scars were still visible on the mans face, and he had a single, blood red eye left. After going to the teachers desk, he greeted the class and explained to the class that Yoshi-sama was gone for obvious reasons. He was a temporary teacher, whose name was Sai Orasakai. Something about this man gave Radagon a bad feeling, but he dismissed the thought as he was probably just worried about what the new teacher was going to do today. When Sai-Sensei asked where the class was in their work, Radagon watched as Miyuki excitingly stand up and explain that they had finished with their work on rope knots and how to escape them. She also seemed to mouth something to Loric, which if someone was skilled at reading lips could easily see what she had said. Radagon was facing a different direction, so he had no clue what she had said, and even if he could see her, he had no skill in reading lips. Radagon took a moment to look around the class, and noticed that everyone had been wondering what Sai-Sensei was going to be teaching them today. Radagon admitted to himself that he too was interested in the lesson for today. He almost asked Jace what he was thinking about all this, but didn't want to have any trouble with the new teacher, so he shut his mouth and sat patiently at his desk, waiting for what Sai-Sensei was going to do today.

"Someday I'll make things right.
From the Earth to the Sky and everything between.
It will all be mine again."

Theme

Jace looked around the room for a moment to gander at all the students showing up and all that was going on. He understood very little of any happenings that might have went on beyond their statements, but it seemed that something interesting had happened as of late. Returning his view to face the wall past the teacher's desk while his mind began to wonder, Jace could hear something faint. The chatter bouncing about the room was drowning it out. It sounded as though it were coming from the door. Jace had not noticed Radagon's feigned efforts to speak to him from the left as his eyes had moved on towards the door where the sound was coming from. Jace's brow arched slightly, but any building questions were then answered a second later as the door swung open and an unrecognized figure entered the room. Jace's eyes glanced over towards the door itself and immediately took notice that the placard had been changed to display "Sai Orasakai." Jace tilted his head. "..Sai? I thought the teacher was Yoshinaga." Jace thought to himself in confusion. His eyes peered away from Sai sensei and onto the desk, which had been completely emptied. He paused immediately at the teacherless vacancy of the desk. A sweat drop rolled down the back of his head. "I bowed to...nothing? Nooo. That can't be it. He, uh, he.. disappeared? Yeah, that's it. He stopped existing for some reason. That's my story and I'm sticking to it." Jace thought to himself as another bead of sweat rolled down the back of his head.

Sai sensei dressed in an interesting and almost cool way, though Jace couldn't help but feel there was something almost scary about him. Jace simply watched attentively as he took his seat and began introducing himself to the class and explaining that Yoshinaga had been resigned from his duties. The expression Sai sensei used to explain Yoshinaga's misdeeds was almost enough for Jace to lose it and start laughing, but he restrained himself. Sai sensei seemed really cool and though a bit rough around the edges, he seemed nice. The sensei continued by asking the class what their last assignment was. Jace was interested to see the other students' reactions, but before he could even budge his head a girl shot out of her seat nearby with great enthusiasm for Yoshinaga's removal. "I like that enthusiasm.." Jace muttered to himself. "..Though I wonder if it's a bit too over the top." he continued within his thoughts. It seemed as though there were no love for Yoshinaga to be found in this class. It made his removal all the more believable. The girl continued on to explain to Sai sensei that they had been working on rope knots. Jace was curious to know if Sai sensei had something more interesting for them to do, but he wasn't about to rush anything. For all he knew, it could be an impending doom.

Jace took notice this time from the corner of his eye. It seemed as though Radagon wanted to say something, but restrained himself. It was likely to avoid any unnecessary trouble with the, still very new, teacher. Jace returned his sights onto the teacher and waited patiently. He was still curious what reactions the rest of his fellow students would have.

A purple haired pirate of a man entered the classroom after too long and introduced himself as Sai Orasakai and their new instructor. He would be replacing Yoshi-Sensei; Sanyo was sure Miyuki would be happy with this turn of events. Sure enough Miyuki was standing up doing a cheer of some sort that caused a small giggle to escape Sanyo as she watched her friend recover from her celebration as best she could. The previous lessons were now explained to the new teacher though Sanyo was sure he had to have an idea of what they’d done, perhaps it was a test of some sorts. Whatever was ahead of them from this point on Sanyo was unsure but she was sure they’d be able to do well if they focused and all worked hard to reach their goals.

Hattori listlessly scribbled away at a sheet of notebook paper at his desk. Today's instructor was late by about a half an hour now. In his absense, the student had resorted to doodling. Eyes glazed over with ennui, he put his pencil to the paper. He drew a diamond shape, then connected the points. He added a rectangle, and sketched some lines haphazardly across it. At the bottom of the rectangle, he drew two circles, one inside of the other. The Fuuma detailed the doodle with little bit of shading, and finished his rough sketch of a kunai. A thin smile grew across his mouth. Solely to himself, he mumbled, "Not bad..."

Finally, the door opened, and a man was standing there. He left the door wide open. A bit of red on the door caught the Fuuma's attention. Where the door once said the name 'Yoshinaga', it now said 'Orasakai' in glistening maroon. Hattori's brow rose, "Did he just paint that? Is this guy for real?"

The man who entered the room introduced himself. Apparently he was relieving Yoshinaga-Sensei from his teaching position, for putting "his hand in the cookie jar". One girl jumped up with enthusiasm. Another almost fell from her chair. Hattori's head hit the desk with a loud THUMP.

Sai Orasakai was the name of the class's new sensei, and he preferred to go by Sai Sensei. The girl who jumped from his seat offered her assistance by giving the teacher some insight into what the class was doing prior to Yoshinaga's transfer.

After the girl's help, Hattori raised his hand, and added, "Yeah, a couple of people passed the knot-untying exam, but Yoshinaga dismissed the rest of the class early."

The pirate-esque sensei couldn't help but raise an indiscriminate out and above the eye patch as he observed the reactions of the class. For the exception of two female students who had outwardly showed joy and a male that simply banged his head... against the desk, Awkward... the entirety of the class seemed rather relieved or uncaring that their former teacher was removed. "While I can appreciate your enthusiasm and distaste for the man, trust I never liked the old prat either, try to keep yourselves in your seats. Don't want anyone sky rocketing through the ceiling, I surely don't make enough to repay the damages. He jested softly, a careful smirk playing across his lips as he dropped to an elbow on the desk and propped his head upon an outstretched palm. "So... Basically for the better portion of the semester you all have done nothing but play jump rope? That's promising." He sighed out, his eyes flicking to the clock in the back to check the time. "Well, sorry to tell you all this but you are very, very behind compared to the other classes. That lesson was only suppose to take a week in whole and frankly put a lot of students are preparing to go on field trips and begin mock missions."

Standing straight, he ran his hands through his hair to pull the strands off his face and some what neatly behind his ears. "Unfortunately, there is only a few minutes left in class. So this is what I want of you guys: I don't know any of you so I need each of you take out a piece of paper and fill out this questionnaire." Turning away from them he pulled out a piece of chalk from the desk and with swift fingers wrote down a list of questions on the blackboard for them to answer.

1. Your Full Name (Last, First)
2. Age
3. Where do you live
4. Describe yourself physically. (Please nothing inappropriate.)
5. What were/are you looking foreword to learning in this class.
6. Just how bad did you dislike Yoshinaga? (Scale of 1 to 10, 1 being miffed - 10 seething hate.)

Grinning, he kept his stick of chalk on the sixth question and tapped it rapidly to draw their attention to it before erasing it swiftly. "Don't ask, don't tell?" His whimsical chuckle filled the room as he strolled to his desk seat and sat himself down. "Once you are done, bring the paper up to my desk and you are dismissed from homeroom, I will see all of you guys at the end of the school day."

Step 2: Lunch (12:00 PM EST, 2/25/2013).
... 200 Words. You will notice that a few teachers are standing by the doors and several other out posts in the cafeteria. You can spot out Sai standing by the snack machine nonchalantly munching on a bag of chips as he leans against the machine and watches you all move to get your food. Should you approach him he will send you back to your seat without answering any questions.

PC Formula: 50 + [(Intelligence(2) - 400)]/10

Shiro tipped her head to the side some, and realized maybe people had misunderstood her actions she hadn't hated Yoshinaga, until just now. She had almost fallen out of her seat because of Miyuki, not because of Yoshinaga, she shrugged that off however. Shiro was mad now though, knowing that Yoshinaga had basically screwed up and held them back compared to the rest of the school. That knowledge made a growl escape from between her only barely parted lips. Her hands clutched into fists momentarily as well. A moment later she shook her head and breathed, she get this angry so easily before did she?
Shiro let out a slow sigh and fished out a blank scroll, which would have to do as a piece of paper since she hadn't brought any of that with her. She plucked out a nice graphite pencil as well before she began.

Quote:

1. Amai Shiro Yuri.
2. 13
3. Rice Field Country's Village Hidden in the Sound Housing District.
4. I'm the one with the orange hair Fox ears, and tail.
5. I was looking to becoming a ninja that could make my brother proud. Now, I want to do better than that, I want to reach at least the rank of ANBU.
6. Before today 1. now somewhere between 9-10

Once she had finished the minor introductory assignment she gathered up her things, including Bou and proceeded to the teachers desk to place her scroll. She gave a curt little nod before proceeding back to the door to leave making one slow down "I'm feeling great now actually, catch you at lunch?" she states shortly to Kuro before heading out of the class, really hoping Sai wouldn't mind the little interaction.

Shiro made sure she had everything with her before heading out the door. She looked at the clock on the wall before heading off, she knew about where she should be headed she had checked out her class schedule before so she turned and headed quickly down the hallway. History, a class she honestly didn't care all that much for, it was kind of boring for the most part. She made her way to the class and slipped in the door she wasn't late, but she was not early either. She scanned the room and found a most satisfactory seat in the back left of the class, optimal seating. She scurried over to the seat and plopped down into the chair pulling a note scroll from her bag which had a few odd little doodles on it, apparently she was working on some 'top secret jutsu' which really equated to her drawing herself as some comic-book super hero. Shiro unrolled another scroll across the top of that one so she could take notes and switch to doodling easily enough.
She sat there bored out of her gourd as the sensei yammered on about stuff that she only remotely cared about. She doodled a poorly rendered version of herself pointing at something that looked loosely like a ghost with a pirate hat on that was trapped in a cube. She nodded her head a couple of times before she heard a rapping sound on her desk her eyes scanned up to see a ruler resting on her desk. She looked up slowly her ears batting back, sure enough it was the sensei of the class. She grinned sheepishly before sliding the note taking scroll back on top of the doodle scroll, which earned little more than a haughty huff from the odd bird like beak nosed woman of a teacher, however it seemed that she knew what a lot of people thought of her class and was pleased enough that Shiro was taking notes and not just doodling the entire time. So she proceeded back to the front of the class to continue the lecture.
Shiro was more careful about switching scrolls now and only every now and then doodled. The class felt like it was going to take FOREVER. She glanced up at the clock, class was roughly three quarters of the way done. She already felt drained from the boring lecture and found herself wondering how she was to put up with such drudgery for multiple days on end. She sighed as the tip of her pencil snapped. She pulled out a little knife and used it to sharpen her pencil and was about to return to taking notes when a little paper shuriken thunked against the side of her head lightly. She looked in the direction it had come from to see a male classmate trying to act nonchalant even through a smirk that spread from ear to ear on his face. Shiro picked up the little shuriken and glanced to the front of the class the sensei was currently facing the board and writing a series of boring things, one of which was the expected homework assignment. She smirked and quickly flicked the shuriken back at her classmate making a satisfactory thunk as it pegged the male student in the side of the head. He acted as if he was going to fall from his seat and made a mock shocked face which vanished the instant the teacher turned around. Shiro returned to her scroll with equal speed so that their sensei would be none the wiser to their actions. She quickly scribbled on the note scroll the assignments given just before the sensei announced that class was ending soon.

Shiro swiftly gathered her things and as she exited the class room she bonked the shuriken cohort on the head with a scroll. "You crazy, wanna get us in trouble." she states with a grin before leaving the class with mild haste. She did have other classes to attend to today, and she wasn't going to be late to any of them if she had anything to say about it. She glanced at the schedule again and almost fell over, geography? She thought history was bad, now they were going to be learning about what, the shape of the land? She groaned and her speedy little trot was reduced to little more than a foot dragging crawl to the next class, she wouldn't be late but she would only barely beat the bell, the less time she had to spend in that class the better. She tipped her head off to the side wondering why they were bothering with these classes really anyway, were they really that important in becoming a good shinobi? Shouldn't they be focusing on like chakra focus and manipulation, and stealth tactics and other things like that? What good would knowing the political shape of each country going to do any of the students here in this school anyway? She grumbled about this at length before reaching the class room.
This time when she took a seat she broke her self appointed seating rule and sat at the seat the absolute closest to the door, which happened to be the front right most desk in the entire class. It made her shudder to break that personal rule so blatantly, but it HAD TO BE DONE she didn't want to spend more time in this class than absolutely necessary. That meant she needed the fastest way out of the class as possible. She pulled out the note scroll and her doodle scroll, some of the notation on the doodles meant she was actually doing some study in trying to figure out how she could eventually learn the jutsu that she was imagining on the scroll. She paid moderate attention here, a little more than in history because even if shapes were boring, there was something slightly more interesting to it. The sensei would talk about the different landscapes in each village the expected terrain and other things. This made for some strategic knowledge so she made sure to take note of each one of these different details. She also made some other odd little notes on her doodles, she included specific weather attire and appropriate colors to blend in. She grinned realizing that maybe this class wasn't as awful as she thought it was going to be in the first place.
She sat up in her seat and quieted Bou as he let out a lengthy yawn and then almost started to yip to tell Shiro that he was now hungry and wanted to eat now. She stealthily fetched from her bag one of the steamed meat buns that she bought in the morning and handed it down to Bou. She looked up as the Sensei looked at her questioningly for a moment before taking note that Bou was the one eating and not her. He shrugged lightly Shiro had made an appropriate choice given the situation, Bou making a nuisance of himself would have been far more distracting than letting the puppy eat something. The sensei took note of this on a little pad that he carried before returning to the front of the class. He put the book he was lecturing from down and pointed to the door. "You are all excused now. I want to see a good 200 word essay on the terrain challenges and benefits presented by one country of your choice." he states giving the homework as he excused the class. Shiro grinned broadly having already taken plenty of appropriate notes this homework would be too easy. She popped up from her desk and gathered her things including Bou who was now content once again and ready to nap.

Hattori scratched his head and listened in on the instructors joke. Sai Sensei's joke descended into an explanation of how behind the students were in comparison to their peers. They were so behind, in fact, that the rest of their class were preparing to go on field trips and begin mock mission training.

Hattori sighed, and rested his head on his fist. The sensei declared that the class was almost over, so he had only one assignment for the day: to fill out a questionnaire. The questions were mostly mundane in nature. He asked for names, ages, where they lived, and physical descriptins. On a more personal note, he asked what they were looking forward to learning, and finally- he put a lot of stress on this one- how much they disliked their former sensei (on a scale of one to ten). The sensei tapped against the last question in the questionnaire quickly with his chalk, then erased the question. After filling out the questionnaire, they were considered dismissed from homeroom.

Hattori put his pencil to the same page of paper he'd been doodling on prior to Sai Sensei's entrance. His pencil tapped against the paper; he wrote:

1. Hattori Fuuma
2. Thirteen
3. I live on the South Side of Town, at the Fuuma Clan Estate, with the rest of my family.
4. Five feet, two inches tall. Blonde hair on top, a little black in the back. Brown Eyes.
5. Ninjutsu

The young Fuuma smirked, he knew that the last question wasn't really on the test anymore, but, Hell, I'll fill it out anyway.

6. 7. He was kind of a jerk before. He made class tough for me and a few other students. However, I never thought he was capable of "putting his hand in the cookie jar", as you so elegantly put it.

Hattori packed away his notebook and pencil into his backpack, then threw it over his shoulder. The student stood up from his desk and approached Sai Sensei. Hattori nonchalantly passed in the page, "Here you go, see you this afternoon."

Only after the door closed behind him did the Fuuma realize, "Did he even say anything about an afternoon class?" Hattori rubbed his chin, eyes locked on the corner of the ceiling, "No... I don't think he did... There must be one though, right?"

Shiro stretched and let out a yawn as she walked to her next class, how long until lunch now? Her stomach grumbled and gave an answer 'too long'. Shiro let out a sigh, the next class was math, she was good at math. Six enemies seven shuriken, if each shuriken hits an enemy you have a remainder of one shuriken. That was all she needed math wise right? Make sure she had enough ammo? Shiro closed her eyes and groaned again just because she was good at math, didn't mean she liked it any. She entered the class and made a B-line for her preferred seat at the back corner furthest from the door. Shiro all but plopped into the seat. She didn't bother taking scrolls out this time and instead propped her elbows up on the desk and dropped her chin into her hands. This would be the only way she could possibly continue to pay attention and not get completely lost in doodling. However just staring at the black board while the sensei wrote and spoke in a very boring voice was not conducive to staying awake.
Shiro's eyes felt heavy lidded and started to close, could the sensei's voice possibly be more boring? She stared right through him yawning out loud by accident which, of course, garnered her the sensei's attention.
"Having trouble staying awake in my class are we? Or perhaps you have done the material already and are ready to come up here and answer..." he paused writing some awful equation on the board "this equation?" he questions tapping the chalk on the board a few times impatiently.
"Jack a**..." Shiro whispers as she stands to her feet and bows her head "Gomenasai Sensei. I was not paying attention, and had drifted off." she states trying to sound appropriately apologetic even though she could not care less.
"Well then, see to it that you don't do it again." He states firmly as he clapped the eraser against the board however before he could strike the equation out Shiro began to grin.
"...However, the answer to that, its seven." Shiro states with a sly smug little smirk across her face as she began to sit. The answer was right, but Shiro wasn't guessing nor did she figure it out through the equation, she caught the answer from a temporary reflection off the sensei's glasses. The sensei furrowed his brow, he would have found it clever if it hadn't been for the timing. He slowly turned back away from the board as he erased the equation, the eraser slipping from being grasped by finger tips to fall into his palm and then in one sudden swift motion the teacher whipped around and sent the eraser like a missile directly at Shiro's forehead. Shiro had absolutely no chance to respond and the eraser hit with a satisfactory whump and sent the little fox falling over backwards as she had only just sat into her chair and was tipping it back in smug victory when the eraser had hit her. "Gwah!" she exclaims as the chair and her went over backwards clattering to the floor quite spectacularly. The eraser was followed shortly by a little white paper cone drifted down and landed on her face. Several students couldn't help but chuckle at the shenanigans going on in the classroom. Shiro sighed blowing the all too familiar dunce cap off of her face with a light puff of breath. This was usually how she ended up wearing it too. For being a smart-a** not a dunce. Bou walked over from his spot under the desk to lick Shiro on the cheek before she chuckled and sat her chair back up on its feet and sat back down in it.
"Class, todays homework is the last 10 pages of this chapter, do the odd numbered questions. Well... except for you Shiro... I want you to do all the questions." The sensei states with a smirk garnering a grumble from Shiro before she gathered her things and exited from the class room along with everyone else.
