~*Radagon Mimuria*~ To Radagon's surprise, the rats had completely fallen for the ruse that he had been able to pull on them. Now a group of angry rats of unusual size were chasing him through the overgrown woods. As he had approached the hole, the plan went off a hitch, but it seemed that Jace wasn't ready for the hole just yet, as he needed more time to create the wall. Quickly making a dash to his left, Radagon was sure he was able to turn before the rats of unusual size had passed the hole, so they were still safe. But now Radagon needed to run around with a bunch of very angry rats chasing him about. The only thing he could do then is to find more rats while leading the others away from the hole, giving Jace as much time as possible. Radagon knew this may take some time, so he was going to run as fast as possible to keep the rats with him, as he noticed that they were catching up to him. No, that wasn't right. The rats weren't speeding up, he was slowing down. Radagon had already felt the stings of being sore from the running he did earlier, but now he could feel what felt like bags of rocks weighing him down. Though Radagon felt tired from running after a group of rats of unusual size earlier, he knew he needed to keep things going to help the village. Though he was keeping the rats from stealing non essential goods from the village, he wanted to know who would plan out such a ridiculous plan.
As Radagon ran in front of the group of rats of unusual size, he kept an eye out for any signs of another group of rats. At some points as he ran, he would catch a qucik flash of fur, or even a path of broken bushs that could have been made from the body of a very large rat. In any case, Radagon did his best to keep the rats that were behind him at this very moment from pouncing him, while also trying to chase after the signs of other groups of rats. It was hard, trying to find another group of rats while also being chased by another group of rats, ones that still wanted to try and tear Radagon limb from limb. It was becoming really annoying, as once in awhile Radagon would lose a step and almost have his heels bitten off by one of the rats of unusual size. Finally, as Radagon rounded past another large tree, he spotted a clump of dark brown fur not too far from where he was. Following the sight of the patch of fur, Radagon sped up a bit, making the rats behind him push themselves to keep up. He had to make sure he didn't lose sight of them, and vice versa. He din't want the rats giving up on the chase. Once he was sure that he was at a safe distance for now, he slowed down just a bit to make sure he was on the right track. Noticing some large amount of rat foot prints leading off in a direction he knew he hadn't gone yet, Radagon began running to where the tracks lead to. As he got past some trees and brush, Radagon then came upon a group not too much bigger than the group of rats that were behind him. Thinking quickly for the rats to chase after him, Radagon yelled out "You can't catch me, you smelly rats. You're all dog lickers!". Radagon had no clue what a dog licker was, or even if he wanted to, all he knew was he needed to keep moving before he became lunch for the rats that were behind him. All he knew was he was now running in the direction of the hole. After a few more minutes of running, Radagon saw the fake brush that hid the hole from eyes that were too far away to notice. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Post Words: 676 Total Words: 10,679Quote: 50 + [100(2) - 180]/10 = 52% PASS

"Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme 50 + [85(2) - 180]/10 Chance: 49% Success Circulating his chakra, Jace began to slowly bring the spikes up around him. In order to go unnoticed, he rose the spikes farther back, the row right behind him, and began to raise the one in the rows beside him slowly. Spike after spike rose from the ground gradually until they were high enough to prevent the rats from jumping over them. The large group of rats that had been following Radagon to the hole had begun to slow down one by one as the spikes drew closer and closer. They could hear the spikes rising and eventually they came to a hault a little ways away from the brush. The rats began looking around in confusion as suddenly spikes were rising around them. Eventually the whole group of them found themselves facing the opposite direction. There stood Jace at the farthest back edge of the cage. The final two bone spikes rose into place and Jace lifted himself up from his squatting position to a standing one. The uncertainty and growing worry among the rats that were looking around and taking notice of his actions was becoming more and more evident.
A few began to step towards Jace compelled to fight, but it wasn't till what Jace did next began to cause a stir. He elevated both arms out to the side and made his hands visible to the rats. He then ignited them in a casing of the orange-ish red bone that seemed to release bits of steam. Some of the rats were very aware of his ability while others were not. Whether or not they'd back down and push backwards towards the hole was dependant upon whether or not the main group would realize how frantic the few became. Any of them foolish enough to continue towards him were bound to get burned. Blaize Raiden Notes
(Success - Just post about this group of rats successfully fleeing right into the hole. I'm heading to work. Later)

~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Radagon was happy as he watched the rats of unusual size fall for the trap, all of them running into the hole as bones began to grow around them. Radagon was impressed with the power displayed by Jace, it made him feel inferior by the fact that he had no jutsu to use. Radagon blinked for a second, as if he had forgotten something. Then it felt like a bad itch was coming from the back of his head, but when he scratched it it didn't go away. An itch that wouldn't go away, Radagon felt like his brain was trying to remember something. But before he could even think on the subject, the itch went away, and he felt like he didn't need to even try to think about what had happened just now. Shaking his head, Radagon walked over to the pit that now trapped the rats of unusual size. They seemed awfully mad for rats, and they looked the part to. They bared their teeth at Radagon when they saw him, either in anger at his rude comments, or that they fell for such a trap that they were now stuck. In any case, these rats wouldn't be doing any more bad deeds any time soon, now that they were caught. Radagon looked around to make sure no rats had been able to escape, and from the looks of the tracks, none had been able to avoid the pit. But, Radagon knew from when he had gone looking for more rats from before when he was being chased by the other pack of rats, which meant there was most likely more rats of unusual size out in the forest that could be getting ready to try and make another go of grabbing things that didn't belong to them. Radagon had to get back out into the forest to try and lure more rats to the hole, that way they could be sure that no rats would be able to get back into the village. Radagon turned to Jace, who was on the other side of the hole and bone. "We need to make sure that the rats don't make any more attempts to try and get in the village, so that means I'm gonna run about to find more groups of rats. It'll be the same plan as before, so be ready. Also, shovel some dirt onto the rats below. We need to mask that awful smell they have to make sure that there is no way for any other rat to smell them from down wind if a breeze were to pass by", and with that Radagon set out to find more rats to lure out.
Radagon proceeded through the forest, looking for signs of the rats of unusual size that were near by. He had back tracked his path from earlier, looking for the signs he had seen earlier when trying to find more rats while being chased by rats. Finally, he found the bush that had a large hole in it, going through the other side. Crouching down to inspect the hole, Radagon saw a small patch of brown fur that was the same as before, only this one was just fur and not blood. Moving past the bushs and into more brush, Radagon moved as quietly as he could and watched out for some way to find the rats. Not long after he started his search, he found some fresh tracks that meant that the rats were not far away. And he was right, after he stepped on to a rats tail, which made a loud squeky howl of pain. "Ah. Crap." Radagon said before he began to run as fast as possible from several rats of unusual size that wanted to kill him. In any case, Radagon found what he wanted. Now he hoped that the rats wouldn't realize they were heading into a trap before he could get them to the hole that would be their prison. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Post Words: 666 Total Words: 11,345Quote: 50 + [100(2) - 180]/10 = 52% Fail

"Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme 50 + [85(2) - 180]/10 Chance: 49% Success Jace watched on as the rats who knew of his ability had fled immediately into the brush and wound up tumbling down into the pit. The others were immediately shaken by the reactions of their fellow rats and turned to flee through the obvious opening. The rats went through the brush and one-by-one and/or two-by-two they found themselves tumbling down the intensely deep hole. Some of them could be heard squeeling in pain as they reached the bottom or others toppled onto them. Once all the rats were in the pit, Jace let out a heavy breath. The bone upon his hands cooled down to it's normal sleek white color before receding back within his hands. Once his hands returned to normal, Jace slowly made each of the bone spikes lower back into the ground. A few spikes in Radagon had spoken up from the other side of the pit. In the confusion, the rats lost sight of him and he wound up jumping the pit to safety on the bone plateau.
Radagon let Jace know that they were going to continue their plan in the same manner by attempting to reset the trap and lure the remaining rats into the hole. He also explained that it would be best to try and mask the horrible rat smell coming from the hole so that other rats don't get suspicious and catch on. Jace nodded in agreement. His eyes felt a little heavy once more. He wasn't tired so much as he was feeling drained from his excessive expenditure towards his clan abilities that he had very little training in prior to the occasion. Jace slowly concealed each spike and covered over the marks in the ground by sliding dirt over them with his foot and patting them down with a couple weak stomps. Once they were all concealed and the trap was set, he turned his sights towards the sound of a sudden squeal of agony. It sounded as though a rat had just experienced great pain. "I wonder what he's doing to them.." Jace said to himself in wonder of the noise. He referred to their expert bait: Radagon.
Jace was unable to shake the weary feeling that crept over him steadily. He needed a pick me up and soon. Jace pondered towards his options, but his mind kept returning to the focus of 'resting'. It wasn't a viable option for him at this point as his time to rest would be much too short and probably much shorter after that sudden squeal of agony. Jace's eyes lit up a little when he remembered something. He reached down into his pocket and brought forth a sandwich and juice box. His pants were a hand me down given to him by a nice middle aged lady in the market. He did errands and tasks for her each month in exchange for fixed up hand me down clothing. Some stuff she had made for him was neat and decent looking. His pockets for these pants happened to be sow ins from another pair of bigger pants, so the pockets were deeper. Jace had taken advantage of pockets by wrapping a sandwich up and a juice box with it in them on his way out to find work. Unwrapping the sandwich, Jace crumpled the wrapper up and put it back in his pocket. Eagerly Jace tore into his sandwich. He took big mouth fulls of it at a time and chewed hastily. It tasted much better than most food he had ever eaten after hard work. After he scarfed down the sandwich, he pried the straw from the side of his juice box and poked a hole in the insertion tab on top. He sucked down the juice quickly until nothing, but an awkward slurping noise came from the juice box.
Jace had never felt so revitalized before, though he was still very young. He tucked the empty juice box back into his pocket and stretched some. Though Jace had not known it, food was one of the best ways to fuel up. It was an important element in re-establishing one side of the two components that chakra was formed from. It helped restore his physical energy by nurishing his body. His spirit quickly rose as soon as he was contently filled with food. Though it took a moment to let things settle, he felt alive again. Jace stretched with a big smile on his face and then turned to face the area where the noise had come from. "I guess he is going to need some help." Jace uttered before walking into the treeline and out towards the general location of the noise. A few moments later he caught sight of Radagon and some of the rats scampering around. One of them was chasing Radagon with a fury like no other, but mostly the rats did not seem focused. They needed to be contained or they might reach the point of scattering and hiding again. Jace slipped through the trees around the to opposite side of the small opening in the forest. He took a good look down at his palms and then stepped forth from where he was hiding. Revealing himself to the rats, Jace hoped to scare them into the general direction of their trap and hope that they could capitalize once there.
Once more Jace ignited his hands in the steaming orange-ish red bone and began to move towards the rats. As with the last time, some of the rats were aware while others were not. This made things about as equally unpredictable. While some of the rats came to stops and began watching him, others began to slowly step back and maintain distance, showing obvious signs of discomfort upon seeing the hands. Blaize Raiden Notes
Success - Keep it going! The rats have turned tail and ran into the woods straight towards the zone meant to trap them.

Quote: Step 2: Corral the Rodents!! PC: 50 + [90(2) - 180]/10 = 50 Hizen watched silently as the two boys’ plan seemed to work perfectly, and a bunch of the rats of unusual size fled right into the hole the two boys had prepared. He was surprised at the strange jutsu the one student had used, seeming to create some kind of red hot casing around his hands. However, the rats were clearly fearful of it. They were also very angry at being trapped it seemed. ”Ugh… And they smell… Whoever that guy is, he knows what he’s talking about that smell is so strong.” Hizen saw the boy who had used the red hot hands jutsu conceal the spikes meant to cage the rats until they ran into the holding hole, and then eat lunch. The sight of the boy’s food reminded Hizen that he hadn’t really eaten today. ”Ugh… And I’ve been out here for so long working to contain the Rats of Unusual Size threat. I hope we can get this contained soon. I’m starving.”Hearing the squeal of pain come from the forest, Hizen watched closely, seeing the ‘bait’ boy being chased by another group of the rats of unusual size, some more fiercely than others. ”Some of those rats don’t seem to be too interested in following the others and succumbing to the plan. Maybe I should go help.” As soon as the words left his mouth, Hizen saw the cage boy run off to help scare the rats in the direction of the hole. Hizen was elated to see that this group of rats seemed to be falling for the plan the same as the last had. As the rats of unusual size began running towards the trap laid by the other two academy students, they seemed to catch the smell of their brothers from some foul wind that happened to blow by at the wrong moment, and began to slow slightly. Judging that it was now or never, Hizen finished calling up and shaping his chakra, creating a thin sheet of ice on the ground in front of the trap. ”Hopefully they’ll slide right in.”Quote: Post Words: 349 Total Words: 4363

~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Radagon turned around to see that the rats were beginning to slow down behind him. He had a feeling that this would happen at some point, but he had hoped it wouldn't. Now the rats were starting to lose interest in chasing after Radagon, and were losing that gleam of hatred that they had in their eyes. Radagon had no clue what to do now, but it seemed he had been saved by the good fortune of Jace's timing. Jace had jumped out from behind the rats to try to scare them into running in the direction of the hole. To Radagon's surprise it worked, as the rats of unusual size began backing farther and farther away from Jace. Radagon looked at Jace to wee what he was doing, and saw a jutsu that he had not thought he would see. Jace had outstretched bone like he had done before to show Radagon his power, but these ones were red hot, and what looked like steam was coming out. Radagon was once again impressed by this display of power that Jace had, he felt that he wanted a power like that. But, didn't he already have a power? He was sure of it. The itch that Radagon had felt before in the back of his head came back, but this time he felt a pain in his eyes. Sort of like an itch, Radagon closed his eyes and began rubbing the outside of the eye lids. For a moment, he thought that some sort of thing was about to happen. But, like before, the itch went away, and he felt like he didn't need to even think about it. Radagon stopped rubbing his eyes and went back to watching Jace begin moving toward the rats of unusual size, which in turn the rats began to back away from the burning look of the bones that came out of the arms of Jace. Now that they were close enough to the hole, it wouldn't take much for them to be pushed on in. Before Radagon could act however, another young man approached to create what looked like a thin sheet of ice on the ground. From what Radagon could see of the young mans face, Radagon recognized him as Hizen from class. How Hizen came to find them he had no clue, but he was thankful for the help. Hizen did try to help, at least. The rats, for whatever reason, had noticed the ice before stepping on to it, thus escaping a slippery fate. The rats of unusual size had no been approaching Radagon, so that they could avoid the burning bone that came out of Jace's arms. But now it was Radagon who had to try and make these rats lead into the hole. These rats were moving too fast, so he had to think of something that could make these rats of unusual size go right into the pit. So turning around real quick, Radagon was going to try and scare the rats into running toward the hole. Taking his black scarf and wrapping it around his right arm, and then using his left hand to ruffle up his green hair, Radagon was going to try and scare the rats by acting crazy. It was a fifty-fifty chance, so he had to give it a try as he had no real jutsu to make them turn about. So, with that he turned around and began screaming and waving the scarf around. He looked stupid, but if it worked the rats would turn around in to the hole. If not, well he would be run over by a group of rats, which would suck. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Post Words: 615 Total Words: 11,960Quote: 50 + [100(2) - 180]/10 = 52% PASS

"Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme Jace watched as the rats continued to break down one by one at the sight of the fear instilled within their fellow thieving rats. It was apparent without their instincts that they needed to flee. The thieving rodents tried to do just that. Jace took steps forward slowly trying to steadily push them back towards the trap zone. It seemed to work well enough that they actually began scampering in that direction. To Jace's delight things were going well. Jace and Radagon then moved forward after them, following them all the way back to the trap zone, where they came very close to making the same mistake their fellow rats had. Only, the strange smell was not so easily covered up and they began to smell it as they drew close. Had they not started catching on to the familiar scent, they would have fallen right into Hizen's trap attempt. He had tried to coat the ground ahead of them in ice. If they carelessly scampered onto it, they would have had no choice but slide to a painful drop.
As the rats turned to escape, it was Radagon who was blocking their path. He had re-entered the area closest to them and their most likely escape route. It seemed as though he might fall prey to being run over by the hoard of smelly thieving rodents, but then he did something that kind of surprised Jace. He turned from them as he began to mess with his clothing. When he had turned back to face the rats, he began screaming and waving his arms. One had been wrapped in his scarf. The rats were already in a panic from the handful of other issues surrounding them. The smell of their comrades, the ice patch that appeared before them, and the burning fate that awaited them if they should let Jace get close enough to them. In their panic'd state they found themselves forgetting about the ice and turning tail towards the trap. It was a sizable mistake and they were sure to find themselves in a tough spot. They had all stumbled out onto the ice in a fear filled panic and wound up slipping, tossing, and turning as they slid all the way through the brush and out into the pit. The first of them had gotten enough of a push that you could hear him smack the edge of the plateau of bone, scrape at it, and then plummet with the rest into the hole.
While all of this had taken place, Jace's jutsu began to ware off and the bone receded. The challenge he faced in the final moments before the rats were caught was not laughing. It was a difficult feat as he had not yet seen such an act from the rather serious Radagon. Jace's appreciation for humor did not lack. Once the rats had touched down and began sliding, Jace then let loose some partially muffled snickering that built into laughter. He couldn't help himself despite the situation, but his laughter was short winded and died almost as quickly as it started. He released a satisfied sigh before he walked up to the area of the path just before the ice patch. "Oi! New guy!" Jace shouted to Hizen, though it seemed a bit excessive since Hizen was up around the hole not too far from him. Jace turned to Radagon. "I think we should rest and get to know one another a little better. We've trapped the rats, but we don't really know what our next step should be. It would be a good chance to catch our breath and figure things out, right?" Jace said in a volume just above the average so that both of them could hear him well. Blaize Raiden Notes
5/5 Success Not proceeding to Step 3 just yet. Going to have a resting/group chat moment and then spark the next step following that.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Radagon sighed as he watched with joy as the rats of unusual size began to run from him and fall for the icey trap that Hizen had been able to pull off. With that, Radagon watched as the rats of unusual size began slipping on the ice and fell into the deep pit that would be their prison. Radagon was relieved that their job was now over. He really had hoped that the rats would fall into the trap and allow him some rest, as he really didn't want to chase after even more rats. Walking over to the pit and going around the ice, Radagon looked down into the hole and saw a small mass of brown fur, all moving about the hole as if the rats were looking for a way out. Radagon would also see the rats poke their fat heads out of the mass of fur to look up at him, anger being shown in their little rodent eyes as they stared up at him. Staring at the eyes of the rats made Radagon feel that he really didn't want to be near them, as the smell of a whole lot of rats of unusual size were really beginning to smell. Radagon began to back away from the whole, when he made eye contact with one of the rats, which was staring back at him. For some reason, Radagon began to feel something happening to him, mainly something with his eyes. As he stared at the rat, he could feel his chakra begin to flow to his eyes, changing them. He knew what this was, but he couldn't believe it. A bloodline limit was beginning to awaken, but the reason why Radagon was surprised was that neither his mother nor his father had bloodline limits, or at least from what he knew. As he bent his knee to the ground, feeling the chakra flow in his head, Radagon felt what was like a nostalgic feeling in his mind. It was like every other time when he had thought about power was actually his mind trying to release the bloodline limit with in him. When finally the pain of the chakra left him, Radagon was able to stand and open his eyes. He had closed them from the pain of the chakra flow, and when he opened them he didn't feel any different. Nothing looked different but when he turned as he had heard someone approach, he saw Jace looking at him with a wide eye stare. When Radagon asked what was up, Jace pointed at his eyes. Radagon had no clue what he meant by that, so he walked over the left over ice that was still frozen on the ground. It was half melted, but there was still some ice left for Radagon to see into the ice like a mirror. What he saw really surprised him, as both of his eyes had changed into a red color for his iris, but that wasn't the real surprise. His pupils had changed from a circle in to the kanji symbol for six, in both of the eyes. Radagon had no clue what this was, but he felt it in his gut that this was some sort of bloodline limit in the eyes, a relation to other known eye jutsu. Radagon had no clue he had such an ability, and he wondered how this was possible. A memory came to him as he turned away from Jace to look up into the sky, which was when he had asked his father when he was younger about bloodline abilities...
---
Radagon had only been eleven at the time, as this was before he had joined the academy. At the time his mother was still going on missions while he stayed with his father at the house, who was almost always in the middle of some sort of research or experiment. Radagon had sometimes gone down into the "lab" that his father worked in, which was really just the basement. He would either watch or help his father with his work, and always be asking him questions about the work so he could better understand what his father was always trying to do. Though most of the time his father would answer the questions posed to him by his son, some things his father wouldn't want to answer for some unknown reason. This happened when one day Radagon had asked his father about bloodline limits. His father had a stern look when he was asked this, and replied with "Why would you want to know that?". Radagon was surprised that his father would answer a question with a question, as most times he'd either answer them or just say that he didn't know. This was the first time his father was trying to deflect the question so that he wouldn't answer, but for what reason was the real question now. Radagon wanted to know, so he kept pressing the issue. All his father would say was that a bloodline limit was a power that was usually inherited through a family down the generations. "Usually? What do you mean by that?" Radagon asked his father, wondering why his father was choosing such words. "No, no more. Either help me with what I'm doing or leave. I'm very busy" his father snapped at his son, who was stunned by how harsh his father was being. Though he was suspicious of his father, he did what he was told and left the basement to let his father worked. Several other times he tried asking his parent about bloodline limits, but both were refusing to talk about the subject. Since then, he has hardly tried to ask anymore about bloodlines to his parents.
---
Thinking about it now, Radagon felt he was sure this might be the exact reason why they were so secretive one the subject of bloodlines. He was sure he was going to need to talk to them about this, as he should have known about the powee that he had in his blood. But what to do about this power now? With his eye jutsu unlocked, he had to do something about it. If he wasn't carful, powers like these could get out of hand if he didn't know how to use it correctly. An idea came to his head as he thought about controlling this power better, as there was a large group of rats in the hole before him, and he needed to test the power behind these new eyes of his. Walking over to the rats again, he stood at the edge of the hole and looked down at the rats, who were looking up at him as he stared down at them. Catching the eye of one of the rats, he made eye contact with the rat right in its nasty rodent eyes. Seeing as he was going to have to concentrate, Radagon took a deep breath and then focused putting his chakra into his eyes, and tried to picture some sort of genjutsu to use on the rat. Most eye jutsu focued around some sort of genjutsu, but others also focused on ninjutsu as well. In any case, focusing on the rat with his chakra filled eyes Radagon attempted to use the power behind his bloodline. With in a moment of activating the power, the rat of unusual size seemed to have froze in place as if it was paralyzed. Though to some this rat may just be trying a trick of some sort to make it seem like it was dead, only Radagon could see what was happening to the rat in its mind. The rat was in a dark room, with little light to be seen. Then a pair of long red hands stretched towards the rat from two different directions. Most likely if this was used on a human instead of an overly sized rat then the hands would be grabbing the human by the arms then lifting the victim into the air. The rat, being slightly les the size of a human, and with a lack of longer arms, was grabbed by the sides and lifted, while being pulled on either side. In the world of this genjutsu, the rat was panicking, but in the real world, from what Radagon could see, was the rat just standing there on its hind legs and doing nothing. The rats hadn't even noticed the rat acting strange till one bumped into the affected rat and it fell over with out any resistance. Now the rats were freaking out, as they backed away from the victim. seeing enough, Radagon stopped the genjutsu, and the rat who was affected regained its mind. Shaking its rodent head, the rat seemed to be shocked and scared by the fact that it had been under Radagons control. Now that he knew that he had a jutsu behind these strange eyes, Radagon wanted to try another way of using the power of his eyes. This time Radagon spotted a rat in the crowd of fur and stench, but it hadn't noticed that he was looking at it. Radagon wanted to try using the jutsu on the rat without it looking at him, so once he was ready Radagon focused his chakra into his eyes and launched the jutsu at the rat. To Radagons amazement, the attack worked, as he saw the rat suddenly stop moving around and stood still. This time the other rats were aware of the sudden stop in movement and backed away from the rat like the last one. After a few moments, Radagon stopped the jutsu and the rat returned to the real world. Radagon was impressed by the power of his eyes, but from what he saw the jutsu really didn't have a ability to hurt the rat. It simply was stuck and couldn't move in its mind. Radagon was going to have to deal some damage out, as he din't know any real taijutsu techniques, so Radagon turned away from the hole and began walking toward the forest. "Hey, I'm gonna take a walk around the area, look for anything suspicious. Be back in a bit", Radagon said to Jace and Hizen, if they were listening. With that, Radagon walked off into the brush of the forest, making sure he had a good enough distance from the others.
After walking for awhile, Radagon found a small path of grass that had no trees, several large rocks, and a small pond. To an artist, this was an ideal spot to rest and relax. For Radagon, this was a good place to train another jutsu. Training his eye jutsu on the rats was a good start, but he was going to need some power behind his punches if he wanted to deal some real damage. Thing was that the power he had now was not so strong besides the ability to stun an opponent. What he was going to need was a jutsu to deal out some damage. Taking a seat on one of the large rocks that was nearby, Radagon began to think on a jutsu to use that could help him in this sort of scenario. Though there was probably alot of other jutsus he could learn, making one meant that things could get dangerous, reason why he had left the others to be at a safe distance. So, as he sat there on the rock, Radagon came up with a jutsu he could make, so he began making the signs for the jutsu. The idea was to make a small ball of chakra in his hands that he could use against an opponent to hurt them while the were under the stunning effects of his bloodline genjutsu. As he formed the signs, Radagon began to focus his chakra in his hands. Once the signs were done, Radagon moved his hands so that he could be holding a small ball in his hands and focused his chakra into that form. Soon the chakra began to form and create a small ball swirling in his lightning affinity, creating a ball of electricity. Quickly leaping and slamming the ball in the ground, the ball exploded in chakra against the grass. As he did, the smell of grass being burned rose up into his nose, and so Radagon looked down at the damage he was able to do. The ball had exploded, but not in a large area. Only a small round burn mark was on the ground, and it seemed to have only slightly burned the grass and nothing else. It was a pretty weak attack, but it was better than nothing. Radagon then returned to sitting back on the rock and repeated the signs with his hands, this time to speed the seals up so that he could pull this attack off in the middle of a battle. Weaving the signs one by one, Radagon kept trying to speed up how fast he could form the signs with his hands as fast as possible. He kept repeating this process over and over for several minutes, but he never focused his chakra as he did. This part of the training for the attack was just to make the signs quickly. After about ten or so minutes had passed, Radagon stopped what he was doing to rest his hands. They were now sore from moving so quickly that he had feared he was going to break his finger bones against each other. Radagon had now been able to pull the signs out quickly, but not as fast as he has seen his parents do. The signs he made were still sluggish, but at least he'd be able to use this in battle. Now he wanted to try and use the signs while he focused the chakra in his hands. As he did, he wanted to focus on making the grip used to help form the ball after he finished the signs. Each time he tried to make a different shape, but only a ball form would appear. Seeing how no other shapes could be used to make the attack, Radagon went on to try and sustain the ball for as long as possible. First he went on to sitting still and keeping the ball formed with his chakra. After a few more minutes, this was going pretty well. The ball had some problems at first from the amount of chakra he had used, but once he was sure he had the right amount, Radagon watched as the ball held a stable form. But now came the hard part, as he needed to form the ball while he was moving. He knew most times he would probably be attacked while trying this, but it was the thought that counts. So Radagon would begin making a few quick dashes across the grass as he formed the signs and created the ball of electricity in his hands. Radagon did this several times, untill he got a bit tired and had to take a quick break. He was moving too quick and tiring out, so Radagon stopped and went back to the rock to sit for a bit. The training was going good at least, and once he had sat down with his parents about the power that was in his eyes, he was going to start training more frequently to be in fit shape for any situation.
After a bit of rest, Radagon stood back up from the rock. He noticed the sun was a bit farther off than it was before, so the time must have passed since this whole rat thing had started. Seeing how if he didn't come back soon, the others may come looking for him. As he was sure he had trained enough for his jutsu, Radagon began walking back in the direction of the hole, to see if Jace and Hizen were still hanging around there. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Post Words: 2663 Total Words: 14,623

Hizen was excited to see his trick working. With the help of the other two students, the rats had fled back into the ice trap that he had left on the ground for them, causing them to slide into the hole! Hizen heard one of the other boys yell up at him saying they should discuss their next move. ”I think that’s an excellent idea. We’ve got the rats trapped. Now we need to figure out what to do with them.” Preparing himself to jump down and talk with the other two boys, Hizen was interested when the one with the green hair and the scarf was able to cause a single rat at a time to completely stop moving. Taking a moment to watch the boy’s actions, Hizen caught a glimpse of red in the other boy’s eyes. ”Hmm… I’ll have to remember to check up on that. Could he have the same bloodline limit as me?”Jumping down, Hizen approached the other boy, the one with the dark hair and the red hot hands jutsu that he had seen earlier. Slightly apprehensive about shaking the boy’s hand, Hizen nonetheless proffered his right hand for the gesture. ”Nice work and nice plan. Sorry I was late to the party; I was trying to recover the clothes and stuff that these guys had stolen. My name is Hizen, by the way. I apologize, but while I recognize you from class at the Academy, I can’t seem to remember your name. You are right though. Now that we’ve got these guys all gathered up, we need to figure out what we are going to do with them.”Quote: Post Words: 276 Total Words: 4639 Chaoscarrier When the next step does start, I'm a total noob at the combat system, so my posts may not always be correct the first time.

"Someday I'll make things right. From the Earth to the Sky and everything between. It will all be mine again."
Theme Jace watched as Radagon simply passed him by, ignoring everything that he had said. Jace decided to remain silent and simply watch Radagon closely. The silence was eery enough to suggest a sudden and undesirable plot twist. One so out of place, that it made perfect sense. Radagon circled around to the pit where Hizen had also gave his attention to Radagon and his actions. The two students merely watched as Radagon stared down into the pit. Jace drew closer so that he could see the rats below. It was then Jace noticed Radagon kneeling down. He looked as though he were experiencing some discomfort. Jace wasn't the expert on medical relief, so he simply continued watched on. When Radagon rose he returned his focus on the rats in the pit. It seemed as though he were testing something on the rats. His eyes had noticeably changed to the kanji for '6'. The rats froze up one by one until he had finished testing it on them. After Radagon had finished his experiment, he turned and walked off towards the forest leaving only a statement of looking around for suspicious individuals. Though, Jace found him the most suspicious at this point as he had withdrawn to himself and started acting strangely.
Jace sighed. He felt relieved regardless that things were slowing down and they could rest. It was then Hizen had closed the distance between Jace and himself and begun talking. He complimented their plan setup and efforts before apologizing for his tardiness and giving an explanation. He then heard something awkward. The boy apologized and claimed to have forgotten Jace's name. It had been odd to Jace because they weren't even in the same class, but it wasn't a stretch for them to have seen each other around the Academy in the past. Hizen continued on to mention their plans for the rodents in the pit, but Jace was less focused on their next step now that Radagon had mysteriously walked off into the forest. Jace turned to face Hizen fully and grasped the extended hand firmly, lightly shaking before letting go and allowing his arm to return to his side. His hand could feel the coldness of Hizen's and vice versa Hizen was likely to feel the above average heat in his hand. It seemed most likely due to their earlier actions in dealing with opposite temperature abilities. "Ah, thanks. Radagon found the hole and we all sort of chipped in as it went." Jace replied making it sound more including of Hizen's efforts. "Don't worry about it," Jace continued. "We had not expected another ally to show up as you did and help out." Jace finished off on the first topic.
"Recognize me from the academy..?" Jace asked rhetorically as he gave it some thought. "I don't think we have met before, but it is possible we have seen each other around the Academy. I'm in a different class. My name is Jace" Jace explained before his expression turned to one of sudden remembrance. "That letter." Jace uttered as he reached into a back pocket of his pants and pulled out a letter stamped with the Academy's seal. Jace turned the edge of his finger to sharper bone and used it like a mail opener. Slowly he cut the envelope open and then reverted the change to his finger. Pulling free the sheet of paper and unfolding it he began to read. "Hmm.. I'm getting transferred to a new class." Jace paused while staring at a particular area of the paper. "My new teacher's name is.. Yoshinaga." Jace said before folding the paper up, placing it back in the envelope, and putting it back in his pocket.
Acknowledgement never tasted so sweet Jace. He was finally getting out of that hell hole of a low tier class with the incapable and put somewhere he can thrive. Jace stretched while listening to anything further stated by Hizen. "Oi, Hizen, You will have to excuse me. I've found a renewed interest in my natural abilities and there is still much about it I don't understand. I've been hiding it for a long time now, so I need to.. 'catch up' with it." Jace explained before he turned to the forest line opposite of Radagon's. "Who ever is behind the rats, there's no telling who they are or where they might be, so it would be best to prepare while we have this time." Jace mentioned before he left Hizen to his own activities. Jace entered the forest line and moved out towards the closest open area between the trees that he could find.
Upon arriving to this opening, Jace walked to the center and began to contemplate some of his earlier doings. He had been able to create a thin wall and plateau of bone along with a spike trap, though it was incredibly taxing and he wound up having to rest before he could take action again. His bone spikes were responsive to his chakra in that they would rise from the ground, though this was also taxing and he yet again found himself trying to replenish energy. Jace rubbed his chin as he thought about it. The most common answers to such a problem are often found as increasing resources to spend, decreasing the cost of the techniques, and finding a way to re-use the same resources over again. Jace took a look around him. The space was moderately wide. It was rather solitary. The setting was better for the latter option than any other availed to him at the present time. He would first try to get used to crafting and then attempt to find new ways of using his latent talents.
Jace sat down and crossed his legs before placing a hand out and turning it palm up. He brought forth vestiges of chakra to that very hand. Jace could both feel and see the bone in his hand as it slowly almost crawled up from his skin to the surface and submerged the skin within. He could still feel his actual bones inside the hand though. "It seems as though I don't actually use my bone. It feels like I'm simply reproducing bone into new forms." Jace thought to himself on the matter. Just then a thought came to him. He was able to ignite the bone that encased his hands, though he had never tried to ignite any other form of bone. It seemed natural that his testing options would be of a wider variety though since he had neglected his powers after experiencing the fearful reaction of Rice Field Country's general public. Jace flexed his hand a few times and then slowly the bone began to change color. He put as much focus as he could into the transformation from normal bone to heated bone. Everything he was doing was now taking much longer than originally, but not without purpose. Jace's goal right now was not to improve the power of his jutsu, but to understand it and it's contributing factors. It was much like language in a way. You could teach yourself from a young age to use a degree of words properly simply by hearing them said, but as long as you didn't actually understand them by definition, you would not be able to use them to their full extent. Limited to the situational phrases they were originally heard in.
Jace moved his free hand out to mimic the heated bone hand with an open palm and then began to create bone from it's center. The bone rose and developed from his hand as slow as ever. It seemed like minutes passed just to acquire a few inches of constructed bone, but nothing was wasted. Jace was beginning to grasp the feel behind the actual construction and manipulation of his bone. Slowly he began to build outwards while continuing to build up. By forcing himself to split his focus, he would be able to increase the versatility of his bone creation and allow himself to respond to multiple issues at once. Though this was only the beginning. He was still very far from where he wanted to be. Slowly, but surely, like sprouting limbs, the bone sprouting from his hand began to split off into two directions going out from the center which continued to expand up. The progress of the branches seemed to hasten a little. Soon there was a miniature tree of bone in Jace's open palm. The branches had split into an eventual 9 paths, growing much smaller each time they split and expanded in different directions until it had looked like a tree with no leaves. A smile etched it's way across Jace's face at his accomplishment, but it wasn't to last. Suddenly the tree snapped at a slanted angle about three fourths of the way up on the main column and the left section of the tree fell down into his lap where it would break into more pieces. Jace's face grew with concern. "Why..? Why did it break?" Jace asked himself as he tried to understand why it just fell apart so easily. Normally his bone was always tough and often he could walk away from tough projects with minor scratches.
Jace was lost for a moment in his mind as he tried to piece facts together and understand what happened. He looked down at the broken pieces in his lap and then over to his heated bone hand before returning his sight to his broken remainder of branch tree. It was then he noticed something strange about the bone. He was too busy focusing on building it that he had not realized it was looking increasingly poor and brittle. The further up the bone expanded, the more frail and poor it looked. In only mere inches the bone showed greater signs of frailty. "Was I spreading myself too thin..?" Jace asked himself. He peered over at the heated bone hand for a moment and released the burning affect over it to look it over. The bone was dense and of proper quality as always. Jace removed the bone, like a glove, from his hand by detaching it from the rest. He set the bone in front of where he sat so that he could view it like an example as he tried to replicate it and understand the difference in what he had done. Jace looked down at the broken pieces of the miniature bone tree and then back to the half tree itself. "All that time and effort produced only trial and error results. It's much too taxing." Jace thought to himself.
Jace's mouth opened wide and his eyes closed. He let free a sizable yawn as tears formed in his eyes. Taking a deep breath and wiping the tears away, he composed himself. His eyes lazily moved down to the bone fragments. Thoughts of how the bone was manifested with crakra molded into it began to run through his mind slowly. It was then that, like tiles flipping in synch, a connection was made. Jace's eyes widened. The bone inside his body was like a template. It was generated as a vessel and manipulated by filling it with chakra. The bone hand that was now no longer connected was clearly still of quality, which meant that it had to still retain that chakra inside it's physical form in some manner. Jace picked up some of the fragments from his lap and held them firmly to the broken tree in his hand. Concentrating deeply, Jace attempted to feel the chakra still inside of them. It was different from before where he could simply pour more bone into a bone object to expand from an area of the bone object. In this way he was taking control of the chakra inside the bone in an attempt to use pre-created materials to his advantage. A long moment passed and nothing happened. Jace continued to focus and reach out to the chakra inside the bone fragments and structure they were held to.
Finally it happened. It felt like a light spark. Jace's concentration did not ease up as he began to take notice of the feeling. He could feel his hands slowly, but steadily grow closer together as pieces slowly melded together until the tree itself was reduced to a large chunk of solid bone in his hand. Reunited with it's structure and condensed, the bone was now denser and more sleek like his bone hands normally turn out. It wasn't quite the same, but it was closer than any previous attempt. Jace paused to catch his breath, which had grown thin under the stress. Shortly in, he resumed and began to take it a step further. "It's too taxing just taking control of what is already within. I need to find a medium. Hmm." Jace thought to himself. Returning to the steps of creation he revisited them from the beginning until he stopped upon the method of pouring his chakra into the bone. It was there that he pinpointed his next experiment. Jace cupped his hands firmly over the rigid block of bone and continued to concentrate, but instead of taking control of the chakra inside, he slowly funneled his chakra into the block, using it as the catalyst for the beginning of the new bone creation jutsu. He felt his chakra link up inside the bone and immediately redirected his focus. "Now I just have to..." Jace's thoughts drifted with the coming intensity of his focus. The rigid block of bone began to withdraw as if being sucked into the palm it sprouted from. The process was very slow and only showed slight signs of moving every few seconds. A little bit of time had passed and Jace 's hands were not grasping together tightly. His arms shook and his eyes were closed. The shaking came to a stop. and slowly Jace let free his grip to separate his hands. Both hands were normal once again. Jace took a deep breath and opened his eyes. He could feel it. "Even though it was taxing to take it back, I still received some gain. A little of my chakra has been restored." Jace thought to himself.
Relieved to find that he was catching on quickly to his abilities, it had seemed as if time were getting the better of him. He had almost not noticed the time passing by. "I wonder how long it will take to truely understand this ability," Jace mentioned openly as he flexed his now pale palms. "There's still so much I have to work on." he said, topping off his statement. Jace displayed a weak smile / grin and returned to his work. This time he picked up the glove of bone that laid before him. Jace wanted to optimize his training to make up for his slowness, so he decided to practice inserting his chakra into the pre-created bone and manipulating it for the first section of his training and then draining the finished product of it's resources by absorbing it. Jace cupped his hands around the bone glove and began to focus once more. His chakra slowly intertwined with the chakra inside the bone and made a solid connection. Once in control of the glove, Jace began to remold it to form something like a thin half of a block. It was solid, dense, and had a sheen to it. Jace continued on into his training by expanding the block slowly and always ensuring that it stayed dense and sheen. A while past and the thin half block became like a fine sheet of bone. He realized that it wasn't enough to just expand the already existing bone. It would inevitably stretch the resource till it was too thin and create problems all around. Jace realized that the larger and more complex the item would be, the more resources had to be put into it. Through this logic, he found it increasingly imperative that the efficiency of whatever he created would need to be very high. The exception stood that he could also withdraw his creations to restore the lost resources, though each of the processes were still very new to Jace. The true potential of his talents in training would come with time and a whole mess of training.
It seemed as though it had been forever, but in actuality, it had only been an hour or so past his continuation of training. Jace had risen from his spot and traveled back towards the area in which he last saw Radagon and Hizen hoping to be greeted pleasantly by Hizen and a less disgruntled Radagon. As Jace emerged from the tree line on his side he noticed Radagon also emerging from the opposite side. It was unclear at first whether Radagon was still troubled, but Jace felt more confident within himself after his training and still had much more training to do. At the moment he simply felt it right to regroup and work on it more in his free time. Jace needed a pick me up and he knew the best way to acquire it. He moved on over to the section of ground where a spike resided under the surface. "Yo, Radagon." Jace addressed him casually. Jace kicked the dirt away from the top of the spike and touched it's tip with his finger. Slowly, but surely the spike began to retract from the ground and concentrate itself into and through the tip of his finger. As the last bit of bone slowly molded into place, his finger returned to normal and he leaned up, taking a stand. "Should we look for the one responsible for the rats now?" Jace asked in curiosity. He peered over towards Radagon. Had Radagon or Hizen, if he were around, given any notice, Jace's complexion would seem to improve a slight bit from his action.
