Shiro slipped out into the hallway and looked at her schedule again. "Penmanship and Literature" Shiro's head sank and her expression soured that class, it was probably the worst. The literature part maybe wasn't that bad... maybe. It was the penmanship part that absolutely killed her. Why did it matter how neat her writing was? If it was able to be read that was good enough wasn't it? It wasn't as if EVERYONE needed to read whatever she wrote anyway, just the dumb sensei's, once she graduated the academy it was likely that she would have to send correspondence in secret code in which case having poor penmanship might even come in handy. She groaned and nodded her head slowly. "Yea today, I have other things to do." she states as she can see the class door and instead chooses to turn to and head down another hallway. Her time could be better spent practicing something more practical. Shiro slipped down the halls watching for the different Sensei who didn't have classes and were acting like hall monitors currently.
She would need to find a class, or some other area where she could do some training. She could perhaps practice taijutsu form, or ninjutsu chakra control? or maybe some genjutsu breathing techniques, the possibilities were just about endless. She thought about it as she quietly slipped through the halls, that nightmare world she had only just escaped from made this very interesting, she had a better idea of the layout of these halls now even if they were twisted in THAT place. She felt as if she was invisible as she crept about, of course at this point if a sensei saw her they would know she was cutting class because the tardy bell had sounded already and the halls were all but entirely empty. However she had already reached a good place in the halls she paused and sat on the floor wondering what she should do actually. She thought about it for a while and realized that the PE class would be using the indoor gym at this time of day, she smirked and knew exactly where she was headed. Shiro quickly made her way to the 'outdoor training area' that the PE class used. Exactly as she had expected the area was completely empty, how perfect. She looked around and spotted some of the sparring training equipment. She slowly nodded her head, yea a little frustration release could be a good idea, and she could practice her striking too! She placed her pack down and put Bou down beside it. "Hey check this out Bou." she states quietly getting Bou to wake up and pay attention. She dropped into her usual fighting stance and launched at the training dummy she swung both arms and entered a slide slamming both palms into the dead center of the dummies chest. The dummy leaned back from the strike, Shiro was sure it was going to fall over so she turned to face Bou with a grin. "Thats the fox double palm." she declares before the dummy teetered back forward from the spring at its base that held it to the ground and beat her on the head with its head. She let out a frustrated unintelligible exclamation as she fell on her butt from the dummy hitting her, it wasn't like it hurt all that bad as its head was made from straw, it was more surprising than anything else. She scowled at Bou who she knew was laughing at her in his own little way.
"Yea, well you spend all day sleeping so there hot-shot." Shiro states sticking her tongue out at the little dog. She furrowed her brow and decided to try something different, perhaps meditating and trying to see if she could do anything like her imaginary jutsu, or if it was even possible. She sat down criss-cross style. She closed her eyes and breathed slow and deliberate focusing on the tips of her middle and index fingers. The jutsu she imagined required that she could control and position chakra accurately, so maybe she couldn't even do a single jutsu yet, that didn't mean she couldn't try and focus her chakra right?

Takuya only briefly went home the night before, his father only made sure Takuya took his medicine and was ready for the next day before heading out to the hospital. His father was rarely home, so Takuya not being there in the morning didn’t affect the family dynamic. Before too long Takuya already had his bag for the next day packed and was heading out. The forest was dense, and hardly a “safe place” but Takuya was not concerned, this was his nightly ritual now. Although he was sure if he wanted to he would be able to sleep, he felt now like sleep was just a hindrance, and that his time was better spent on the training grounds at night. Time passed and as soon as the sky began to lighten Takuya made his way back to his house. Quickly he took a shower, putting on new clothes and heading back out once more, only taking time to pick up his lunch bag and supplies.

By this time Takuya knew he was likely late, his features twisting into one of annoyance he did not feel like getting chastised, but could not afford to lose a day of training. As he halted before the screen door he observed the new name. Opening the door a new instructor was already telling them what their day’s assignment would be. A quick glance at the clock told him he was nearly forty-five minutes late, a habit he made not to not repeat. Striding to an occupied seat Takuya sat down, only lifting his head to take note of the questions scrawled on the chalk board before starting to fill out his own paper.
Quote:

1) Takuya
2) 13
3) The housing district of Sound
4) Durable
5) Combat and Strategies
6) 7

Looking over his work Takuya wasted no time in turning in the sheet of paper, his responses he supposed would do, he wasn’t sure how much the new sensei wanted so instead he opted for short and sweet. Retrieving his things Takuya wasted no time in moving to the room for his next lesson.

Since there was so much expressed excitement about the revilement of Yoshinaga, Sai had figured that it would be appropriate to let those who openly showed this excitement to try and refrain from doing so again in the future. It seemed that the little female who tried to blackmail him failed at saving herself from too much embarassment, but knew that it was unlikely that he was going to no hear from her again once she wanted something from him. Once Miyuki stated exactly what they'd been doing for the past month though, it was apparent that their new instructor wasn't too happy about it as he joked about them doing nothing for the last three or so weeks. After the joke, they were all bluntly told that they were behind schedule from the rest of the classes and needed to catch up quickly. Kuro let out a light sigh, knowing that the next while was going to be strainuous on him and everyone else so that they could also be at the level of doing mock missions on the such. Unfortunately though this class was almost over and Sai didn't know them, so before they were to leave they were asked to take some paper and fill out a questionaire that he'd writen on the chalk board. Once it was on the board, Kuro went to filling out his paper quickly so that he could make his way to the next class.

Quote:

1)Yamanka, Kuro
2)12
3)Housing District 1
4)Relatively short, white hair, blue eyes, average build, slightly pale complextion
5)Mechanics and Usages of Genjutsu's/Strategy
6) anywere between 2-4

Once finished writing, Kuro walked over to their new instructor and placed his paper face down and started to make his way to the next lesson.

Hizen dashed towards the classroom he’d become accustomed to over the last couple of months. ”You have got to be kidding me! WHY am I always late?! Seriously, I don’t get it. I set alarms with plenty of time to get to class. I’ve managed to stop freezing myself in the shower. Why can’t I seem to show up to class on time?! Ugh… I’m going to get an earful from Yoshinaga sensei.” Hurrying around the last two corners in the hallway, Hizen pulled up short upon spotting the wood plank nailed across Yoshinaga sensei’s name on the door. “Orasakai? Crap. Now I get to make a bad impression on this guy. He must be a new instructor for our class.”

Sheepishly entering the room, Hizen saw that the new instructor, looked like a pirate due to his having an eye patch, had already written a new class schedule on the blackboard. Examining the times, Hizen cursed to himself. ”Dammit. Already late for lessons.” Seeing the questionnaire on the board, Hizen quickly pulled out a clean sheet of paper and began filling out the questions presented to him.
Quote:

1. Your Full Name (Last, First) : Kerayu, Hizen
2. Age : 13
3. Where do you live : Housing District 6
4. Describe yourself physically. (Please nothing inappropriate.) : I’m the skinny one with dark grey hair, red eyes, a maroon scarf and belt sash, and a pouch at my waist.
5. What were/are you looking forward to learning in this class: I’m really looking forward to learning new Ninjutsu that I can try.
6. Just how bad did you dislike Yoshinaga? (Scale of 1 to 10, 1 being miffed - 10 seething hate.): Umm… 1? He had a mouth on him if I was late, but nothing particular stands out.

Quickly finishing his survey answers, Hizen took his sheet to the instructor’s desk, copied down the schedule, and headed off to his first class.

Miyuki stared at the instructor intently as he explained the situation, as well as gave them their first assignment under his command. It was quite disheartening to learn how far they had fallen behind their peers as a class. At the same time, the young girl was very curious about her new instructor. The first assignment was not relevant in any form; in fact, the majority of his questions seemed sketchy. However, Miyuki was not about to question the motives of her new instructor, at least not for the time being. The instructor had even been lenient with her recent behavior. He had almost seemed to silently approve. Sai-sensei was a blessing for someone like Miyuki who despised Yoshinaga-sensei’s lecherous behavior.

Miyuki opened her notebook which she carried with her since the beginning of class. The young girl spent several minutes looking at her initial impression of those in her classroom before turning to a blank page. The girl began to notice others from the class beginning to enter the room one after the other. She found it amusing that the instructor did not seem to mind that they were late. Of course, Sai-sensei had also been almost forty-five minutes late to class.

With a bright smile across her face, Miyuki began her assignment. Her movements were quick; however, her writing was still perfectly legible. Upon reaching question four, the young girl was unsatisfied with her answer deciding to draw a chibi figure of herself on the edge of the paper.

INDENT 1) Saitoh, Miyuki.
INDENT 2) I am 11 years old.
INDENT 3) I live in an apartment by myself in the housing district.
INDENT 4) I am one of the three females in class, so I shouldn’t be difficult to remember. I have short, pink hair with bright green eyes.
INDENT 5) I am most looking forward to chakra control. I want to become a medical ninja who deals heavily with poison creation.
INDENT 6) Umm, this question is hard to answer. I suppose a 7? I did not really dislike Yoshinaga-sensei. I think the more appropriate thing to say was that I was perturbed by the man. I certainly did not respect the man.

Miyuki tore the homework assignment from her notebook. She set the piece of paper to the side of her desk while she collected her things. Once finished, she stood up and walked up to Sai-sensei’s desk. Before putting the paper down upon his desk, she bowed. She quickly stood back up and placed the paper on his desk. “I am sorry for the disruption sensei!” With her apology out of the way, the young girl rushed out of the room.

Just before Kuro had gotten to the doorway of the homeroom, he relaized that he didn't grab his backpack. Turning back, he quickly got to his desk and picked up his pack and then headed back to the door. This was the first time that they'd actually went to a new class room to do something other then tie and untie ropes, so once he got into the hallways he was kinda lost on where he needed to go next. Turning to the door he just exited, Kuro made a note of what room he came from and then used that to get a general idea of where he needed to go. It didn't take him very long for him to get to the next class in which was on his schedule, it just so happened to be the history of the hidden sound. History wasn't something that he wasn't very interested and was kind of worried that he'd end up passing out during class. Ether way though it was his next class so he was going to go so that he could get caught up. Upon entering the room in which the history lesson was taking place, he noted that there were only a select number of seats left. Looking around, he decided that he'd pick one that wasn't in the middle of the class, nor the back of the class but rather somewhere between the two locations. Taking his spot in the class, he placed his backpack near his feet so that he wouldn't forget it when he left this class-room. Eventually the class room filled up and he just ignored who entered, but knew that some of his homeroom classmates were there as well.

The class was finally starting, so pulling out some blank paper Kuro got ready to take what ever notes the history teacher was going to start giving them. There was a minor problem though and that was that even though he had gotten a good nights sleep for once last night, there was still a whole lot of tiredness in him as he'd not been sleeping properly the month before hand. Rubbing his eyes, Kuro did everything he could think of to keep himself from falling asleep inside the boring class. From covering his mouth and biting his hand, and biting the inside of his lips, Kuro was trying to keep awake without showing anyone looking what he was doing at the same time.

Miyuki sauntered through the hallways looking carefully above each door looking for the appropriate classroom number, as well as the name plates for the appropriate instructor name. The young girl only had about five minutes to find the correct classroom which was the instruction on the History of Sound. Once she had found the proper room, the girl tightened her grip on the strap of her messenger bag which was draped over her shoulder. This was the first time that the students were instructed to proceed to separate rooms for different classes. She questioned whether or not this was how it was supposed to be the entire time? Yoshinaga-sensei had certainly set up everyone in his class for failure. However, she wouldn’t let this bring her down. She had come to this school with a purpose. The girl wouldn’t allow failure to even be an option.

Miyuki stepped through the door into the class History of Sound. She looked around the classroom seeing a few people who looked familiar. In particular, Kuro definitely stood out amongst the crowd. The girl groaned loudly while walking further into the classroom. She finally decided on a seat that was diagonal from Kuro. She did not really want to be that close in proximity to Kuro; however, the girl did not have much of a choice in the matter. She had taken into account the classroom setup, as well as seats that had already been taken. As usual, the middle of the classroom was all that was open as far as seats were concerned.

Miyuki pulled a writing utensil and a notebook from her messenger bag once she had sat down. The bell rang not thirty seconds after the young girl had settled into her new seat. “Safe,” the girl muttered with a bright smile on her face. She looked over to Kuro who seemed to be having some issues concentrating. ‘He did not seem like the slacker type,’ the girl stared at him intently until the teacher began speaking. The teacher had quickly regained Miyuki’s attention for the moment. She began scribbling notes onto the paper which were probably only legible to Miyuki herself.

Miyuki quickly grew bored of the content which was being told to her. The girl looked upwards to the clock which only further depressed her. It had only been approximately twenty minutes since the class had begun. She looked around the room to observe what the rest of her peers were up to. The girl found herself staring intently at Kuro again. She exhaled deeply in frustration. The guy looked so damn disoriented. “You ok?” She mumbled quietly trying not to appear concerned. The girl continued taking notes as she awaited his reply.

As Radagon sat in class and listened to the teacher, he heard Sai-Sensei talk how the class was much more behind compared to the other classes, and so he was going to make some changes. But for now, they just need to give him a paper explaing who they were, as well as everyones skills. So, with that Radagon took some paper out of his pack, a writing utencil, and began to write down the information for Sai-Sensei.

1. Mimuria, Radagon
2. 15
3. Sound Village - East Section Housing
4. Normal strength, healthy life style, can run for several miles before needing rest
5. Learning a better control of chakra, and jutsu as well
6. 3 - Annoying at times

Once Radagon was finished writing out his paper, he noticed several of the other classmates had already finished their paper and had left for classes. So, standing up from his desk and grabbing his pack and supplies, Radagon walked over with the paper in hand and placed the paper on the pile of papers that had begun to pile up in the teachers desk, bowed to the teacher and left the room. He was going to get through his classes as fast as he could, and learn as much as he can today. Today felt like a good day today.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~

The first class for the day was the "History of Sound". As Radagon entered the classroom, he already saw several other students already sitted, though he didn't see Jace. Radagon assumed that Jace would probably be right behind him, so Radagon found a seat in the middle like he was in the last class room. Sitting down in the seat of the desk, Radagon waited for the class to start. After awhile, the teacher for the class showed up. Quickly telling the class to be quiet, the teacher explained that he was going to tell the class about the beginning of the Village of Sound, on how it was first created. The teacher then explained that an infamous ninja had come from the Land of Fire, wanting to create a much better land that held no hardships nor restrictions on the life of a shinobi. It was with the Country of Rice fields that would be the first step. The Ninja came and took over the land, and renamed it the Land of sound. It would be here that the village would begin, a place for ninja to learn and train without the five great nations breathing down their necks. After explaining this first part of the history, Radagon noted a dark expression began to overcome the teacher, as if the next part of the history was like taboo to speak about. The Teacher then went on that the ninja who became the great founder of their nation had later betrayed them. The supposed Village seemed to be more of outposts and hideouts than an actual village. Many shinobi who had joined the village noted this, but the founder would not speak on the subject. It was only with the incident of the attack on the Fire Nation that the ninja of Sound soon found themselves betrayed by the founder. He had used the newly found village for his own ambitions, for experiments and fooling many shinobi in doing his dirty work. After his failure, the founder left the village and went into hiding, despite this villages attempt to track down the traitor. After many battles over leadership, the Village of Sound has now become a place for shinobi to train and learn, much like the five great nations, but more independent than the others. With the end of that part of history, Radagon noticed that dark expression the teacher had earlier had disappeared and had one of pride now. Radagon was impressed by the teachers pride, dispite what happened in the past. Radagon then listened to more on the subject of the history of Sound, hearing the teacher talk about how the shinobi of the village soon came together to build a true village rather than the outposts and hideouts of the founders village. Though the village was seen with suspicion by many of the other lands and villages, the teacher said that they were forever trying to make their image of that of a land made for the ninja of the world, without outsiders ruling them. Even with a dark past, Radagon could see how this village was always pushing for the future rather than the past, and in a way was proud to be a member of the village. But he doubted that the past was entirely left behind. Most ninja in the village was still conducting experiments, like his father. He too had a passion for experimenting with jutsu and other sciences, which showed how some of the founders ideas were still clinging to the present. When Radagon looked up at the clock, he saw that the time for the next class was about to start, and so did the teacher. The teacher then told the class to begin to pack their things and head on out of the class for their next study. Making sure the notes that Radagon took down in his notebook was good, he placed it back into his pack and headed out for the next class.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~

After Radagon left the class for the history of the land of sound, Radagons next class was for Geography, which was a few classrooms down from the classroom he had just come out of. Radagon then found the door to Geography, and entered the classroom. The room was much like the last, so Radagon found an empty seat in the middle of the desks and took his place. Once a few more students had entered the class behind him, the teacher started the class. The teacher explained how the Land of Sound was a very versatile land, as it bordered three countries with very different aspects. For instance, to the south was the Land of Fire, which had large spanning forests, which stretched even into the Land of Sound. To the north, or north east to say, was some large mountanious areas that came from the bordering country of the land of Hot Water. And to the west was a mass of cliffs and forests that came from the Land of Waterfalls. As for the north, it was a far spanning ocean, with a few small islands not too far from the shores of the Land of Sound. This versatile land was the result from which the size of the land, and location of the land of sound was, which governed its Geography. Radagon had no clue that the Land of Sound was so filled with such landscapes, he almost wanted to go exploring to see these places. But, he knew that he must learn here at the school before entering the vast world, so he continue to listen in on the lesson the teacher was giving. So, the first thing the teacher wanted to explain was the great forest that came from the Land of Fire. The forest was actually spanning far into the Land of Sound, which was the reason why the village was bordered on the outskirts of the forest. It gave not only a good natural defence for the village, but an excellent route for escape if the village ever came under attack, as well as a good place for an ambush for the same reason. But, as this was Geography and not a strategy related class, the teacher focused on the correct subject. The teacher went on to explain the forest, which came from the Land of Fire, was one of the oldest forests to date. It's great trunks and tower like height made the forest a great place to note, as the great trees may be tens, if not hundreds, of years old. Though far reaching, the forest did have a few spots where other plant life grew, usually in places where a great tree fell, allowing the sun to fill the area and allow smaller plant life to flourish, such as grass, bushes, and plants such as flowers and herbs. For such a place to exsist, the teacher explained that there had to be underground caverns filled with fresh water for the trees to exist on, making the ground moist and full of nutrients the trees need to keep growing. This also made the land dangerous, as underground caverns could make sink holes when one collapses. Radagon wondered if these caverns had entrances, or if sinkholes were used for making tunnels into the caverns for human use. Keeping focused on the lesson, Radagon continued to listen in on the teacher as they explained more about the land. Continuing, the teacher then went on to how the forest spanned from the Land of Fire that the underground caverns must lead further in-land and that it lead either to a large lake or maybe an underground spring. Though this was unknown, it was always good to remember such possibilites. Radagon caught that little drop of advice. If the caverns spanned underground to the Land of Fire, it could mean they could be used to infiltrate lands underground, or even to prevent infiltration by making the caverns collapse to prevent such things from happening. The teacher then stopped the lecture to look up at the clock, and noticed that the time for the class to end had come. Radagon was disappointed, as he really wanted to hear more about the geography of the Land of Sound. But, he had more lessons, so he gathered his notes and things, and left the classroom for his next lesson.

Dashing down the hallways again, Hizen slipped into his ‘History of Sound’ class only about ten minutes late. The instructor gave Hizen a really nasty look, but continued lecturing from the book. Pulling out the text book, Hizen flipped it open to the page that was listed on the board. Finding himself about five pages behind, Hizen managed to catch up to the instructor’s position in the lecture. ”I just have to read those pages after class to catch up. Five pages isn’t too hard to catch up on.” Pulling out some paper and a pen to take notes over the material the instructor was covering, Hizen turned his attention to the lecture.

As the instructor continued, the man’s face adopted a dark expression, almost as if the next section of the lecture was taboo and shameful. ”It was at this point that the newly formed Village Hidden in Sound went to war with the Fire nation, attacking the Village Hidden in the Leaves during the chuunin exams for that year. Originally allied with the shinobi of the Village Hidden in the Sand, the shinobi of Sound Village caused much devastation and much loss of life to the Hidden Leaf village, culminating with the Sound Village founder, Orochimaru, slaying the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. It was revealed, however, that Orochimaru had betrayed his Wind country allies by killing their leader, the Kazekage, and adopting his place with a masquerade. After the major battle inside the Hidden Leaf village, Orochimaru was chased by his former comrades, the sannin Jiraiya and Tsunade. Being pushed back and defeated, Orochimaru abandoned his recently founded village and retreated to his own devices and secrets. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the man had been using the Hidden Sound village as a test bed for his experiments, betraying the very people he espoused to protect.”

Hizen’s jaw dropped as he furiously copied down the notes about his Village’s history. He was astounded that not only could a man be so evil, but that it was a b*****d like that who had originally founded Hizen’s beloved village. ”However, I can definitely believe that the original Otokage, this Orochimaru b*****d, is behind our village’s love of experimentation. While experimenting on people is forbidden, we, as citizens of Sound, do rather enjoy creating new jutsu and refining the work of those who have come before us.”

Hizen noticed that the dark expression on the instructor’s face had slackened just a bit as he moved into the explanation of the redemption of the Sound Village. ”Despite our rather sinister beginnings, Sound Village has, over the years, grown to be a great home for its citizens, shinobi and non-shinobi alike. While we are not held in quite the esteem as the ‘Five Great Shinobi Nations’, Sound Village is now respected and has grown into a place where those with a heart to can learn and become great.” His face now radiating pride, the instructor closed his text book and went to the blackboard. Picking up a piece of chalk, the instructor began diagramming the early history of the Sound Village. Hizen struggled to stay awake, especially when the instructor mentioned homework.
”Your homework for the evening is to read the next chapter in the text book and answer the questions at the end of the chapter. I expect each answer to be more than one sentence. However, writing more will not necessarily increase your score. Say what you have to say and be done with it. Show some ingenuity, get creative. I will see you all bright and early tomorrow. Please try to be on time!” The last statement was said with a glare at Hizen. Sheepishly packing up his bag, Hizen quickly hurried from the room towards his next class.

"Someday I'll make things right.
From the Earth to the Sky and everything between.
It will all be mine again."

Theme

Jace paid attention as the sensei continued on to give reassurance that he was no fan of the previous teacher. He followed up with a joke about the select children's reactions involving property damage and his meager pay as a teacher. Once the pleasantries were over the man peered over to the clock in the classroom before letting them know some unpleasant news. The entire class was severely behind. So much so, that other classes were preparing and going on mock missions. Jace's previous class had done little more than this one. It left Jace almost skeptical, but the fear of falling behind and remaining weak began to enshroud his mind. Even if only by himself, he had no other choice, but to catch up. Whether the rest of the students cared enough to take the extra stride was to be seen. Jace gritted his teeth and re-positioned himself to sit up properly. His focus was direct now. He needed to know how to fix the problem.

Sai sensei stood straight and groomed himself before requesting that they all take out paper and answer his questionnaire. Jace eagerly reached down for his bag and unzipped it half way. He slipped a hand in and pulled free a sheet of paper from the notebook inside. The sound of the rip was muffled by the surrounding bag. Jace reached to the front of the bag and plucked a pen free from the set of utensil slots. Quickly dropping the bag back into place he folded the end of the paper with signs of tearing. He folded it back and forth until slowly he tore it free. This left the sheet of paper neat. Jace began to write down the actual questions Sai began to write down on the board. He followed Sai as quickly as he could, giving substantial space between each question for an answer or any size. Jace didn't start from the top. Rather, he started from the last question. This question posed the most confusion. He hadn't been in the class since before that day. He had no way of making a real judgment for himself about this 'Yoshinaga sensei'. Jace's pen tapped the paper lightly a few times as his eyes focused on the question. "There's no other way." Jace thought to himself. Jotting down an answer, he returned to the top of the questionnaire and began normally. Jace gave his name, age, address, and physical conditions. It was then he arrived at the question he desired to answer the most. "Looking forward to learning..?" Jace thought. His desire to become stronger was ever present, lurking within his mind and heart.

Remembering his time in the day past, Jace knew there was a step especially crucial to him that he had to know to reach the next stage of development. He needed to be able to control his chakra. He was able to manifest what he had when he needed it for his special abilities, but he was still very limited in this aspect. Jace started scribbling an answer into the space, but as he went, he wound up reverting to his original desire, writing that as well.

Quote:
1. Your Full Name
Ryuuga, Jace

2. Age
Twelve

3. Where do you live?
An apartment on the opposite side of town.

4. Describe yourself physically.
Healthy and energetic. 4 ft, 9 in.

5. What were/are you looking forward to learning in this class?
I want to learn how to control my chakra. I want to get stronger. Stronger than everyone.

6. Just how bad did you dislike Yoshinaga?
0 - I never met the guy.

Jace stood up from his desk quickly and plucked his bag from the ground. He slung the bag over his shoulder and pushed his seat in before grabbing his paper and pen from the desk. He hurried up to the front desk and placed his paper on the small stack of accumulating turn-in sheets. He glanced up from the paper to make eye contact with the sensei. Jace felt a sense of reassurance and strength from the man's eyes. More than that, the man was like a plateau. A level far away from Jace's current state that had to be achieved on his way to the top. Jace broke eye contact trying not to seem awkward or draw unwanted attention upon himself. Leaving the paper behind, Jace left the room with a sturdy pace and moved on towards the next class of the day.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~

Once Radagon had left the class for Geography, he headed out for the mathematics class which was just down the hall and to the left from the geography classroom. Though Radagon had only a limited understanding of most mathematics, he did find it facinating as most things in life can be explained through the use of calculations. This was just one thing Radagon found interesting about the subject, so he was excited to learn what the teacher for the math class had in mind. Finding the door, Radagon entered and found the class was much more like a half circle of desks with the teachers desk sitting in the middle front of the room with a very large chalkboard behind the desk. Already there was several math equations on the board, with small paragraphs explaining the use of the equations in theories and other sciences. Radagons brain was already straining to understand, but he was here to learn, so he found a seat near the front so he could listen more easily to the lesson. Other students also came in, and found seats around Radagon. There was some written down questions on the board already, some of which was about strategy and counting enemies. The answer was simple to Radagon, but then the question was a bit tricky, and focused more on a simple answer. In any case, soon the teacher came in and soon began the class. The teacher went on about how that, in order to understand mathematics, one needed to know the very definition of mathematics. The teacher then went on to explain how math was sometimes defined as a science of quantity, though this was not always the simple answer. Mathematics not only applied to quantity or measurement, but also to the fact that its definition itself was always changing. Most users of mathematics lead definitions on logic, intuition, and formalist, with each a different philisophy. Though each had a different definition for math, each had been accepted with its philosophy. Writing down the three widely used definitions, Radagon was already at a loss with just these simple definitions. He knew from the start that math was used to count a measure many things, but what the teacher explained was making math to be far more complex than what is widely believed. The teacher continued, now going on to some mathematical problems that were, what the teacher considered, standard starting mathematics. First he talked on the subject of "natural numbers", which was focused mainly on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The teacher then wrote down a equation using multiplication and addition, with the answer being divided by ten afterwards. One of the students seemed to have taken a nap, and the teacher had asked them the answer to the equation. Though grumbled, Radagon heard the girl, who he saw was Shiro, give the right answer despite her drifting off. Unamused by her being smug to him, the teacher erased the equation from the board, and in an instance used the eraser to knock her onto the floor, to which he through a small white cone cap that landed on her face. Radagon, seeing the display, thought it was a bit rude to knock a student over with an eraser. But, Radagon said nothing as he made sure that he had wrote down everything the teacher had explained before the whole incident had occured. Once he was sure he had everything, Radagon watched as the teacher began to write down what looked like instructions. Once he stopped, the teacher announced he wanted everyone to complete some homework. It was for the questions on the last ten pages of the chapter he had wrote down, which was the mock test for everything the teacher had explained to the class. Making sure he had written down the place in his notes for where the questions began, as well as placing a marker in his math book, Radagon began to pack his things so that he could leave for the next class.

"Someday I'll make things right.

Theme

Jace hurried along down the hall to the next class. It seemed as though Radagon had gotten ahead of him as he caught sight of his fellow student slipping into the door to the History of Sound class ahead of him. Jace hustled to catch the door only inches from shutting and pulled it open. He entered and took a quick look around to notice Radagon sitting down in a desk positioned similarly to the last. Jace bowed lightly to the teacher, who seemed a slight bit disgruntled. The teacher's expression lightened and Jace took his place at the desk beside Radagon. He glanced over at his friend only long enough to see whether his presence was acknowledged or not. The teacher reached down to a book sitting on the desk in front of him. Picking the book up, the teacher flipped through the pages to the correct starting page and announced that they all needed to take notes. Jace retrieved paper to go with the pen he had already been holding when suddenly another student entered the room. He seemed to be late to class and the teacher's expression suggested he was not the least bit pleased with the boy. It pinged then and there. Jace recognized the boy. It was Hizen, the boy who helped Radagon and himself out during the ordeal with the unusually sized rats in the prior day. Jace watched as the boy took his seat in a hurry and the teacher picked up the chalk from the ledge on the chalkboard.

The teacher tapped the chalk on the chalkboard and began reading aloud to the class from the history book. The man displayed a passionate change of expression to each turn in the story of Sound's history. Jace also happened to notice that some of the students had began to wear their pride and other emotions on their sleeves as they listened. The man began to write key terms and sentences on the board as he came across them in the story. They were example notes for the class to take down as a minimum of what needed to be recorded. Jace followed the story along as the teacher explained how Sound was founded, who their founder was, and what the founder had brought Sound to do. The founder was a man known as 'Orochimaru' who originated from the Leaf Village in Fire Country. He created the Sound as a camouflage for his twisted experiments and hideouts. This twisted individual brought forth great pains in a quest for his personal gain. He went as far as to deceive the Sand by killing their Kage and disguising himself as that very Kage. He went on to lead an assault between Sound and Sand against the Leaf Village. While it ended in failure, Orochimaru was able to take the life of the Third Hokage before retreating. Sand eventually came to acknowledge the deceit and tried to rebuild severed ties with the Leaf while Sound was left to recover in contempt of the world.

Despite the setbacks and betrayal of their founder, the Sound had struggled and worked to eventually rise to a respectable standard in the world. They weren't as acknowledged as the Five Great Shinobi Nations, but they still had a ways to go. Jace felt a degree of turmoil in finding that such a horrible figure was responsible for the creation and current day miseries of the Sound Village. In his heart he questioned if not founding Sound at all would have been a better option to prevent the pain it created. A moment of thought and continued writing of notes allowed Jace's mind to reach a conclusion and his heart to settle. He too established a slight sense of pride towards the Sound at this point. Jace raised his hand amidst the teacher's speaking. Taking notice, the teacher only stopped upon reaching the end of the chapter. "Yes? What is it?" the teacher asked while peering at Jace. A grin spread across Jace's face. "If this Orochimaru guy was so strong he could create such misery like that, then I'll become even stronger than him and make everyone's pain disappear!" Jace spoke confidently. Eyes around the classroom slowly gathered towards Jace. The teacher remained silent for a short moment. "That's a nice sentiment. Let us resume." the teacher stated before continuing from where he left off. Shortly after the teacher took a glance at the clock on the wall and closed the book in his hands. The teacher explained the coming assignments and then dismissed the children off to their next class.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~

After Radagon was finished packing his things, the time came for the next class to start. Getting up with the rest of the students, Radagon left the room and headed out back into the hallway. Making his way down the long halls of the school, Radagon soon found himself in front of the door for the Literature class. The classroom was set up to be much different than the last class. The desks were set up like the ones in homeroom, but the teachers desk was faced toward the door, leaving the front of the class for the teacher to walk about. Finding a seat that was in the middle of the class, Radagon went and sat down at the desk that he liked the most. Already was a few students already in here, and soon the rest showed up and the time for the class to start came. But, the teacher still wasn't here. Radagon looked around, as well did the other students, as everyone wondered where the teacher was. Soon the door for the class opened, and a tall woman with red hair came in, wearing normal ninja clothing and holding a stack of papers in her arms. As the teacher brought the papers to her desk, she was saying she was sorry for being late. Once she was ready, she turned and announced herself as Sumer, or Sumer-sensei. Once the introduction was over, Sumer sensei began the lesson for today. She started with the understanding of literature, as she named it the "art of written work". The very definition of the word meant "things made from letters". The teacher then explained how Literature was mostly classified for two major forms. They were fiction and non-fiction, as well as two writing styles, which was poetry and prose. Fiction and non-fiction was too easy to explain, so the teacher skipped that part and moved on to explaining poetry and prose. Sumer sensei explained how a poetry was a writing written in verse, though verse was also used in most dramatic fiction. They were normally written in rhythm or patterns, or even different syllables. Due to the diversity of poems, most poetry could be difficult to explain.
For Prose, the teacher explained that it was more along the lines of historical and scientific writings, which has been some of the oldest prose writings found. Most prose writings, or novels, were given the name of fiction, so that it was easier to see the more factual writings, or non-fiction, which is written to explain history. The thing was, as the teacher went on to explain to the class, was that prose was broken up into a few categories. The main two being philosophy and history. Sumer sensei told the class how philosophy has always been argued on being on the grounds of prose literature, but the use of logic from a mathematical view has always backed these arguments. Radagon tried to keep up with the pace of the teacher as he wrote down notes for the class, but he was having a hard time to write down what the teacher explained. But, he did his best and kept writing as she went on to the next subject, which was history. History, as Sumer-san explained, has become a very large section of literature, and has always been for the use of recording data, or to give out correct information. Though written, it has rarely been given the amount of quality that it needs, and only at better moments does it have that quality of writing. Many historians have written down only their point of view, rather than a whole view. Many people have simply named this "creative non-fiction". Now that this was done, the teacher walked over to the desk where she had laid the stack of papers. "Everyone", she began, "This here is just a short amount of questions for you to answer, which the questions go over what I have explained today. This is your homework, and you must complete it. At the end of the sheet, you are to write down an example of wither a prose, or a poetry." and with that the teacher then passed the papers out to everyone. Taking the paper, Radagon placed it with his notes to complete later, then noticed the class was now ending. Making sure his papers were together, he put the items back into his pack and then left once it was time for the next part of the school day.
