Setting his attention to the third and final knot, Loric went at it as rapidly as possible. This one however proved to be more difficult than the others. It was tied extreamly tightly, so much so that he had already begun to feel the course roughness of his skin being chaffed by the binding rope. Taking a paue to regain composure, he made yet another attempt, once again being thawrted by the twinging pain. "Come on Loric, you can do this" he said out loud to himself. All he had to do at this point was to fight through the pain and simply force his hand through the small hole that was his ropes constraint. Once he had his last hand free he would be able to legitly untie the knot and prove to that b*****d Sensei that he was a real ninja in training. He didn't need any hand outs dor did he need the teachers favor. Despite Yoshi-Sensei, Loric was determined to succeed. When the ropes fell loosely to the ground he would feel all the more satisfied, his viger now renewed. Loric returned to his battle with the knots. He had come this far, and there was no way he would allow himself to be defeated here. Quote: 1091/1000 Step 2: Freeing Yourself :: PC 50 - 5 [135 + 228 - 300] 51% fail (3)

As the rest of the students shuffled into class, Takuya closed the book, putting it away before returning his attention to Yoshi-sensei. As he spoke Takuya could only pray that his studying from before would have some effect on his performance today. Sitting in his desk as Yoshinaga made his rounds tying the students his mind wandered to the hallway once again. It wasn’t until Yoshi-sensei had finished tying him down that he realized he was now free to attempt to escape the rope that held him fast to the chair.
Moving his hands as far along the rope as he could, his fingers met the knotted area. Silently he probed the lump, following the curves of the rope to figure out which specific knot was used on him. Observing the students in front of him he noted that each knot was different, so it would be near impossible to just figure out the type of knot from looking to the students ahead. It wasn’t like he didn’t expect that though, Takuya would have been surprised if their sensei had used the same knot on each and every one of them. Once again he turned his attention downwards, connecting the rope he could physically see to the rope he was feeling behind him.

With about another five minutes of continous effort, Loric felt his fingers slip directly out of the knot. His heart almost skipped a beast as he watched his arm fling out to freedom. He had done it! He had managed to free himself from what had seemed like an unescapeable trap. This wasn't something that a simple academy student should have been able to do. No, he had been directly challenged by his own Sensei and he had prove himself worthy. Unlike every other student in the class room right now, Loric was forced to escape from not one, but three knots created by a trained Chuunin ninja. Rather than crack and crumbled under the pressure and gravity of the situation, Loric vilantly rose to the occasion, with the help of his dog companion Rizu that is. Letting out a line of yelps and growls, Loric praised his canine friend for such a good job, without the help of Rizu, Loric wasn't too sure that he would have ever been able to free himself, and definitely not as quickly as he had. Once again, his four legged buddy had come to his rescue exactly when he needed him to. Quote: 1291/1200 Step 2: Freeing Yourself :: PC 50 - 5 [135 + 228 - 300] 51% Success (3)

"Just.... out of curiosity..." The words flowed out venomously as the Yoshinada towered over Miyuki and Kuro with an imposing size. His arms were tightly crossed over his chest, his fingers drumming against his biceps as he glared at the two culprits. "What exactly... DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" He questioned forcefully, his seething angry no where close to being hidden.

With a barely invisible smirk Takuya had actually recognized the knot that had been used to bind him. The way the rope looped was very specific, and though Takuya had felt an obvious loop he shrugged it off. It was better that the sensei’s opinion of him didn’t warrant the treatment Loric was receiving. Taking the moment to recline Takuya watched for a moment as he struggled with his third knot, before his arm shot out, freed from the restraints that had bound him.
“Tch.” Takuya mumbled, before his attention was directed elsewhere by the booming voice of the instructor. “What exactly…. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!” In the corner of the classroom the teachers favorite as well as another were apparently helping each other out. Reclining he watched for a moment, placing escaping the rope on hold as he watched the scene before him. This was much more interesting after all. As the students paused to respond Takuya worked the rope with his fingers. This particular knot required a certain pressure to be applied rather than simply struggling too much. Takuya knew that if he put too much strength into breaking it, it would simply backfire and instead tighten around himself. Keeping his eyes trained on the drama that was unfolding before him he attempted to escape the rope for the first time.

Once she had regained consciousness, Miyuki stumbled grabbing onto the nearest wall. The young girl had managed to come back to consciousness just in time for Yoshi-sensei to begin yelling at herself and Kuro asking for an explanation to their actions. Unlucky for her, Miyuki did manage to remember everything that had happened. While she was not in control of her body, the young girl was still actually present during the experience. Miyuki could have just admitted everything to Yoshi-sensei about what had happened. However, she hoped that the punishment would be easier on her than it would Kuro. It would be ideal to get out of this situation anyway possible. Either way, she had to be quick on her feet and think of some way to respond soon. It did not take long for her to come up with an idea. Hopefully, this would be more successful than Kuro’s failure at attempting to be stealthy while avoiding completing his designated task. “Yoshi-sensei,” the young girl started blushing while avoiding eye contact with her senior. “I do not want to excuse my actions; however,” the girl continued while beginning to unzip her blouse. “Wow. Does anyone else feel like it is getting hot in here?” Miyuki flipped her hair back and began to fan herself with her palms. “Anyways, it looked like his knot was completely too loose. I had intended to fix the problem; however, it seems that everything did not work out accordingly. I was trying to do you a favor, sensei. Do you not see?” the young girl pretended to be pained by the idea. Her eyes even began to get fairly watery, as if she were going to burst out into tears at any moment. The girl pretended to recover slightly taking on a more serious tone. "However, I will take any punishment you care to give me," Miyuki winked towards the sensei discreetly. As Kuro started to walk, the grin quickly faded as it seemed that ovbiously Yoshi-Sensei wasn't too impressed with what transpired what so ever. There was venom in his words as he stared at them both intently and spoke/scolded them, asking what they thought that they were doing. He knew that Miyuki wouldn't be able to come up with a good answer with what had just happened, but he knew exactly what was going on. Then again he wasn't going to cover up for her and say it was all his fault, as for him though he was doing what he could to get out of the situation. Sure it wasn't exactly untying the knot himself but knowing when a skill isn't all that great and not trying to press it was also another skill that shinobi should know (Most people would call this skill caution with skills that they weren't fluent with yet). Even though she really didn't have any reason to, it turned out that she was going to speak first anyways. It turned out that she was trying to say that she was trying to "help" out Yoshi-Sensei. Once she was finished he figured that he'd might as well say his peace. "I was just using the skills I had to get out of the situation... that's all Sensei." He wouldn't say more as it was true and he'd didn't do anything wrong in his mind.

As Takuya’s ropes fell around his chair he relined back, crossing his arms as he watched the scene unfold before him. The girl’s response to the instructor was sickening to say the least. He could physically feel his stomach drop and churn as if he was going to be ill from the shameless display. What was worse was that Takuya had long since noticed the Sensei’s obvious preference for the busty young girl.
He had originally thought the girl to be interesting, but resorting to such underhanded tactics to get their punishment lessened almost immediately changed his opinion of her. While he could appreciate the fact that she was utilizing what she had, as a male he felt like it was almost an unfair advantage to the rest of the students. In all actuality he had wanted to see the situation escalate much more.
Pausing Takuya continued to watch the scene before him, wondering how the Sensei would respond to this, and more importantly what his reaction would be to the other boys statement.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Unfortunately, Radagon was unable to do the knot on his first try. Instead he just ended up making a mess of the rope, as it just piled up in his hands. At first he thought he has done it, but the rope was so long that he ended up just making things worse. So, after a few moments Radagon just dropped the rope on the desk and put a palm to his face. He couldn't believe that he could easily escape from a knot tied around his hands, but he was unable to make one. That's when he heard the teacher begin yelling at some students. Radagon hadn't paid attention to what was going on with the others and their tests, so he just turned his head back to his own work. He didn't want to get caught into someone else's problem. So, Radagon just focused on his own work, trying his best to ignore what was going on over by the teacher and the two students. So, he grabbed the rope again and went to work making knots. He was still strying to make the knot the teacher made, as he really wanted to learn how to make that kind of knot.He couldn't just ask the teacher, as that was not the point of the task he was given. He had to learn on his own, that way he could make these sorts of knots with experience. Taking the rope in hand, Radagon began making the knots, again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: 0/1 Post Words: 250 Total Words: 2328Quote: Formula: 50 + [(25 + 50) - 10]/10 = 56% PASS

Shiro glanced at the books and re-ran through her head the techniques contained within. The smile on her face from being not only on time, but lightly early was somewhat taut from the nightmare that kept tugging at the back strings of her mind. What were the voices really saying? They weren't exactly all that clear, and if felt so real. She shuddered some and rubbed her eyes. She watched with a faint sense of delight as the other students filed into the class. She sat and watched the clock, and mentally took note of the click when class was to start, she knew about when the sensei had closed and locked the door on her. She waited mentally counting for him to get up and lock the door. She looked around the class to take a mental attendance and, well to be quite honest she wasn't sure who was missing, but she did notice that there was a girl missing still. She slowly returned her attention forward. When the sensei said that they would be tested on rope escaping technique she smiled feeling quite confident in her ability to do this. "Bou, get down. I don't want you to get all caught up in the ropes like you do at home, and then you struggle and just make stuff worse, for now just take a nap under the desk." She states as she put Bou on the floor and watched as the sensei went around the room tying up the other students. Since she took the seat where she did she was among the last to be tied. She took mild note of the way he tied up a couple of the other students, the knots seemed, harder, or maybe, more vindictive? She didn't know what it was about but it was curious. She took a deep breath as Yoshinaga moved to tie her. She closed her eyes for a moment, something about the constricting rope caused a crawling sensation in the back of her mind, and a faint haunting laughter echoed through with it. She opened her eyes and let the breath out very slowly as he finished binding her. She could feel the movements of the rope as he tied her. She took another deep breath and waited for him to finish, and to tell them to begin. Once he made it clear it was time to start she closed her eyes again and moved her body about some taking in full the aspect of the rope and its knots and twists. ~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Luckily, Radagon was able to make on knot out his ten he needed to do. Now that he had taken the first step, he was sure the rest would fall in line at least one by one, other wise he was going to get stuck with this task over and over again. Looking over his knot that he had made, it looked a bit what the knot Yoshi-sensei had made in order to tie him done from before for the test. Though this may seem like the knot, Radagon soon realized this was just a pale imitation of the actual knot he was trying to make. This was like a bowline knot, but there was too many loops that just compromise the knot, making it fall apart much more easily than the sensei's knot. Oh well, Radagon knew that this was at least a good start that he was going for. Taking apart the knot, Radagon noted in his mind just how many knots he had made so that he didn't make the same mistake as before.Once the rope was all pulled apart and no longer in the shape of a badly made knot, Radagon laid it on the desk and stared at it with a hand on his chin. He needed to figure out what he was going to have to do with the beginning loops and twists to try and make the knot from before. He thought about how a bowline knot was made, and the difference of the knot sensei made. After giving it a thought or two, Radagon grabbed the knot and went to work. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: 1/1 (Pass / Fail) Post Words: 270 Total Words: 2598Quote: Formula: 50 + [(25 + 50) - 10]/10 = 56% FAIL

Shiro fidgeted around a little more and after a few more movements she was able to fully recognize the knot type. She smirked some, some of the techniques used were exactly those she used in the knots she had created. There was even a hint of the technique behind the hang-mans noose. She rolled her head around some as she focused on the rope. She slipped her hands up as much as she could rotating her shoulders she breathed in deeply and pressed her body against the ropes as strongly as possible. The claustrophobic sense it gave her instantly caused an image of, 'the hall' the flash through her mind she gritted her teeth strongly as an ominous sensation shuddered over her entire frame. She suddenly felt the NEED to escape from the ropes, not just to pass the test, but she needed free of the bonds and she needed free NOW. She furrowed her brow and twisted slightly to the side shifting back she pulled against the ropes while still holding in as deep a breath as she could possibly fill her modest frame with. She could feel the ropes moving, some spots felt as if they loosened while others seemed to bind in tighter. She paused and let the breath out slowly, and doing her best the keep her frame held at the shape of breath intake. She centered her mind she couldn't allow that nightmare to press its way into her mind right now, fear would only make her make the wrong choices in trying to free herself from this specific knot type. Finesse was what was called for here, she needed to remain calm and stay focused. She nodded gently and refilled her lungs with a deep breath. Quote: PC Formula: 50 + [17(3) + 38(3) - 250]/10-5+1=37 1-Critical SuccessJynn sat comfortably in his chair. Well, maybe comfortable isn't the right word. He tried thinking snug, but that wasn't good enough either. How about tightly? He thought with a sigh. The rope dug into the skin on his wrists and pressed his spine uncomfortably into the back of the seat. He tried to move his body, even a little, and found that there was no room to squirm. He tested the knot by pulling tugging his wrists, but the damned cord was not going to give even an inch. Thankfully I can still breath, He silently thanked his lord for the privilege and set to work on the knot. He ran the tips of his fingers over the cord, trying to get a feel for the knot. It didn't take too long; his knot was fairly simple. Now all he had to do was untie the damned thing. He started mulling over the ways to get out of this particular knot, his lord's prayer making it some what hard to focus. But eventually he started to figure out a decent way to untie the rope. From there it was the easier thing in the world to take the knot and go through the process of releasing himself. Jynn took the rope and walked down to the front of the room. He passed the sensei and waved the rope as he passed, though he was certain the old man was too focused on his teen crush. Jynn chuckled under his breath and put the rope on the desk, and proceeded to walk out, pulling out his chain and praying again.
