Realizing that he was now down to the last of the three knots a wave of motivation shot through his body, kick starting him into action. "I am not gonna let this pervy Sensei hold me back! I am gonna be a great ninja no matter what." he chanted to himself over and over. The more he thought about it, the more his anger and frustration turned into spite. Not only did he want to succeed so that he could become a ninja, but now he had a much greater motivation. To break free from him confinement as quickly as possible, to definitively show to everyone that he didn't need any hand outs to succeed. He would stand on his own two feet and grow despite his set backs. When his classmate found herself wandering into danger, he was one of the first people to stand up and attempt going after her. Even though he was unsuccesfull in that enderver, the fact still remained that he stood in the face of danger for his fellow classmate. He already had the spirit of a great Shinobi and he was not about to let himself be held back now. In the face of any challenge he would always give it his all, this would be his way of the ninja. Quote: Rope Escape :: 50 + [36(3) + 76(3) - 250]/10 = 68 (+5 Base Chance) :: 73% After continuing to exam the particular knot that was restraining Miyuki, the young girl had decided it was certainly not a knot that she had studied as of yet. Actually, it seemed that Yoshi-sensei had just slipped the rope around just easily enough to slip out of. The girl slipped a piece of the rope from the simple loop disassembling the entire thing. Miyuki caught herself with her upper arms but allowed the weight of her lower body to fall backwards. Once landing on her feet, the girl picked up her entire upper body. The girl noticed that she was the first to finish her lesson. She was starting to feel the bite of having these types of perks in her life. While she was finally finished, the young girl was essentially alone. She could either wait for the others to be finished or go find something else to do in the mean time. However, there was no way to tell how long everyone would continue to put up with her as things stood. “I am sorry,” Miyuki whispered slightly while standing near Loric, “I did not mean to cause you so much trouble.” She looked the opposite way, so she would not draw the attention of the sensei. She did not want to cause him anymore trouble than she already had. “Is there anything that I can do to help out?” the girl questioned shyly holding her arm across her frontal body and grabbing her other arm which lay flat by her side. ~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Radagon waited for the teacher to come over, and once ready, had his hands tied behind his back. Once the teacher left, Radagon began probing the rope the best he could with his fingers the best he could. What he had to do was try and feel what the knot is. He could feel the rope strain against him as he did this, meaning the knot would tighten if he tried to strain it too much. The knot was well made, tight yet not made to restrict the hands, less the person tries to escape. Even so, Radagon had to figure out his first move here. First thing first, to find out how many loops was he going to have to break. The amount of loops and twists were the main essential to what he needed to know in order to help him break the knot. From what he could tell, there were only a few, some very obvious as they were much closer to his finger than he had expected. Maybe the teacher hadn't realized that he did this? or did he? Well, Radagon was just going to go with it. If the teacher did this on purpose or not, he thanked him silently. Well, Radagon just kept feeling around anyway just to make sure if he had a correct number. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Post Words: 222 Total Words: 1594Quote: Formula: 50 + [100(2) - 150]/10 = 55% PASS

Quote: 50 + [50(2) - 150]/10=45-5-40 76-Fail As he walked towards his class, Jynn just barely paid attention to the other students. A good portion of them were wandering around, like the lost souls they were. Some were perched over a thick book, while others were in deep conversation with their friends. A select few were even had their wrists tied up, their faces contorted as they tried to break free instead of working the rope. Jynn chuckled slightly and slowly put his length of chain away. He had been so busy doing his duties that he had forgotten that there was a test today. In the end, the test wouldn't matter because all were equal in jails of his lord. But he'd rather not spend an eternity doing knots, like the first day of classes. Jynn stopped as he neared the classroom. Outside of the door was a young boy, pacing back and forth, deep in thought. Jynn's lips spread into a sickening joke of a smile as he watched the kid wander around, the hooded boy leaning against the wall. He found him, the one that escaped. Jynn had to repress a chuckle at the thought of someone actually leaving. Damned heathen. He leaned his head back and started to focus on the task at hand: knot tying.

Once finished with his apple, Kuro stood up and wandered to the trash bin where he tossed the core into. Returning back to his seat, it seemed that Shen-Sensei was ready to start the day. Instead of locking the door though, the instructor just stood up and started to make his announcements. Today was the test of the Rope Escape Technique. Once they were out of their bondage, they were free to leave except those who still had assignments that they needed to do. Luckily for him though, Kuro had finished everyone on time even though he was tired while doing so. Ether way though, he just wanted to get this done since he was hoping that he'd be able to maybe have time for a nap later. Closing his eyes for a moment, Kuro waited on Yoshi-Sensei to restrict him to his chair. He wasn't sure how well he was going to do, but knew that his knowledge of knots having gotten blisters due to them should help. Looking around once tied up though, he noticed that Miyuki had entered late but teacher didn't seem to care about it. However, once Loric entered the room there was a change in how Sensei acted in a big way. It was none of his concern though as right now he just wanted to get out. Not knowing how he was tied up would be unfortunate, so Kuro started to run his fingers over the knot to see if he could figure out what he was restrained with.
Feeling the knot, Kuro thought for a moment. 's**t...' He knew exactly what type of knot it was. It was a constrictor knot, almost impossible to untie in his situation. Looking around the room, he noticed Miyuki was already free. Then an idea popped into his head, and he closed his eyes for a second. He was going to take over her body and untie him like that. With his eyes closed, he shot out his chakra to Miyuki and started the process.

~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Now that he had confirmed the amount of loops, Radagon knew exactly what he was dealing with. It was a variation of the bowline knot in a way, as it gets tighter with the more strain on it. This one has more loops and twists to compensate for the fact hat it may begin to loosen with the wiggling of the hands, so that the challenge was still there for the person to escape. Now that he knew what kind of knot he was dealing with, he had to be careful on how he was going to deal with this kind of problem. If he messed up too many times, the problem would become worse and he could face tearing through his skin to try and beat this knot. So, he started to probe the loop closest to his fingers, trying to get at least one finger under it to help pull on it. Unfortunately, all he could do was poke the loop over and over again, as it was too far away. Seeing how the first loop was actually too far, he tried to move his fingers around to try and find another loop to work on. Not long after trying to find another loop, his pointer finger came across a lump of rope, and once he felt it around he found it to be a loop he was looking for. Now if he could try and push one of his fingers under the loop, he could try and pull this loop and see if he could loosen the knot and get free. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: First try Post Words: 264 Total Words: 1858

As his chakra flew through the air, Kuro's body went limp. He wasn't sure if he was going to succeed or not, but when his eyes opened once again he was standing. Looking around for where he was located, he turned the host body around to see his body laying limp while tied to his chair. All he did was shrug and slowly wandered over to his own body. He didn't know if he hit his intended target, but he was in someone else's body and that's all he cared about. Going behind himself, he knelt down and started to work on his knot. He watched as the fingers went to work, but noticed that they were small and slender. While still working on the knot though, he turned his attention to down to see if he could tell who he'd possessed. Looking down he noticed what exactly what Shen-Sensei what enjoying. He quickly looked back up to the rope and finished untying it. Standing up in Miyuki's body, he started to head for the door. Once he got to the spot where he'd captured her body though, Kuro released the body. Slowly he woke up with the bonds of his restriction untied. He stood up and could only grin as he started to head for the door.

Loric tucked his head down into the collar of his jacket and began to mumble a series of growls and light yelps, signalling to Rizu exactly what his instructions where. Understanding his job, Rizu followed suit by tucking himself back into Loric's jacket, rearranging himself so that he could poke his head out from the bottom of the jacket and clam his jaws over the middle band of the series of rope knots. Over and over, Rizu gnawed at the thick knot but to no avail, even with Rizu putting all of his force into the bite, the rope simply would not be weakened. Realizing that his plan wasn't working, Loric struggled in his chair in an attempt to free himself manually but once again he found himself lacking. What was he going to do? He thought to himself. He could visually see exactly what he needed to do, but being restrained so thoroughly he could barely bring himself to move, let alone untie and free himself. To his right he noticed that Miyuki had already managed to free herself. The thought of him sitting here all night trying to get loose ran through his mind, discouraging himself significantly. It was then that his focus was broken by Miyuki who had been standing in front of him this entire time. Her expression seemed distraught, as if something was troubling her. "It's not your fault...Do not worry about me. I will break out of this on my own." He said coldly before returning his attention to the task at hand. He respected her apology, and on some level he knew that there was nothing she could do. But none the less he didn't have time to fret about such things now. Quote: 50 + [50(2) - 150]/10=45-5=40 28-PassJynn sighed, eventually pulling out his notebook. He was having a hard time concentrating, having a hard time remembering, the knot tying drills. He wasn't sure why; he was tortured by them. Maybe because he treated them like false idols, even though was only joking at the time. Maybe this was his punishment, a sentence demanded by his heretic ways. Jynn glanced back down, seeing that the escapee was gone. Again, he smiled, opening his book. The boy would worry about him later. Now he had to focus on this test, to remember even through the looping song. Jynn absently pulled out his chain again, mindlessly rolling it with his fingers as he read. He had to narrow his eyes as he read, trying his best not to fall asleep. His eyes were so heavy, getting more so everyday. Every day for a month, sleep eluded him. Eventually he just accepted it as punishment for tampering with the hall way. Maybe one day he could atone for his crimes, but he doubted it: there was no parole in this Jail. Jynn did his best to read the words. He drew his own diagrams, ones far more understandable than the text book. Even then, they were still frustrating.

Loric's face twisted into a grim frown as he now began violently struggling in his chair. He refused to let it end this way, despite the fact that it was becoming increasingly obvious that there was simply no way that he was going to break free. Even with Rizu working vigorously to loosen the grip on the ropes so that he could at least move his hands, all efforts up until this point had proven futile. By this time Loric began to question his own resolve. Sure, he would inevitably feel more rewarded if he were to manage to escape such a difficult challenge, but now he was starting to feel cheated. Everyone around him had only one knot meanwhile he was forced to tackle three. For him, this wasn't a test of being able to untie a knot, this was no simulation or game, it would take a true feat of an escape artist to slip out of such a tight confinement. Growling more audibly now, Loric began to shake back and forth in his seat in an attempt to simply break out of the ropes using brute force, this was of course another failed venture. Glancing up at the clock, he watched as the time ticked away. How was he going to get out of this one? Quote: 419/400 Step 2: Freeing Yourself :: PC 50 - 5 [135 + 228 - 300] 51% FailFails: 2

As Loric rocked back and forth in his chair he eventually began to feel the sinking feeling of himself tilting beyond his axis of balance. The sensation alone caused him to temporarily panic and throw all of his weight forward to land the chair back on four legs. It was then that he got a much better idea. Leaning his head back, Loric began to rock back and forth yet again, this time continuing until the chair completely fell back, landing him directly on the floor on his back. At first glance it would have seemed as though he had actually made a blunder and caused his escape to be even less likely, but in truth he had put himself in a much better position. By slamming to himself to the ground in the way he did, Loric actually managed break one of the legs off the chair, allowing him to easily slip his legs free. Now he would be able to at least put a bit more force into sliding himself out of the grip of the other two knots. Quote: 691/600 Step 2: Freeing Yourself :: PC 50 - 5 [135 + 228 - 300] 51% Success

~*Radagon Mimuria*~ Without a hitch, the knot came undone on Radagon's first try. Once he pulled on that loop, the knot loosened up alot. With that, Radagon was able to quickly rip apart the knot so that it returned to being a regular long length of rope. Standing from his chair, Radagon held the rope and pulled his chair back to his desk, sitting down with the rope. He still had the task he was given so long ago, as he had to pass that to continue on with his fellow students. Seeing how he was stuck here anyway, Radagon decided to just work with the rope he had from the test just now in order to complete the penalty for rope tying. So, grabbing one end of the rope, Radagon began twisting the rope around, mostly just playing with it at first. He wanted to try and make the knot the teacher did, as that would come in handy in situations like this. So, seeing how he wasn't able to see the teacher make the knot, he was going to have to just go with test knots till he got it right. Grabbing one end of the rope, Radagon began working on the task given to him a month ago, so that he would be able to pass with his class. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Post Words: 220 Total Words: 2078Quote: Formula: 50 + [(25 + 50) - 10]/10 = 56% FAIL

A wide smile plastered itself across Lorics face as he now felt the first ounce of freedom in his body now that he had managed to get out of the first knot. Curling his body around, he used his legs to force himself to his feet so that he was now standing with the chair still attached to his back. Meanwhile, Rizu continued to chew vigorously at the knots to assist him. Scrambling to think of what to do next, not wanting to break this momentum that he had recently found, Loric began to wriggle his left arm in an attempt to free yet another part of his body. Now that he was standing on his feet, the entire process felt much easier. He could now put his entire weight and muscle into the task, with little effort Loric popped his left hand out of the knot and then proceeded to untie it for good measure. The test was, after all, to untie the knot and not nessicairly to escape the chair. Realizing this technicality Loric then bent himself over and quickly untied the knot that was once restraining his legs as easy as untying his own shoe laces.
