Hobbies: Drawing – When Justine awoke, she found a sketchbook full of drawings among her belongings. She was surprised when she discovered that she could replicate the style and motions with ease. Since it’s one of the few unique talents that she came “pre-installed” with, she embraces it wholeheartedly and clings to it as a major part of her identity. She is almost constantly drawing, even if she’s supposed to be listening to something important, though she’s rather capable of multitasking. Sometimes she even draws while she walks, which leads to problems.
Reading – On the laptop that Justine found in her bag, there were lots of files full of all kinds of stories, and also some visual novels with many save files. She is endlessly fascinated by these stories (even if some are quite salacious), and when not combing through what was already on the computer, she turns to the internet to find more stories still. The variety of events that people write about amazes her, especially when she considers how many events she hasn’t experienced (or doesn’t remember experiencing).
Journaling – Every moment of this new life is precious. Justine has taken to keeping a journal of her daily experiences when she can. She enjoys not just reflecting on the day’s experience, but also being able to look back and see how she felt on a different day. As far as she’s concerned, it’s a way to make something that could someday be history.
Virtues: Calm – Justine is very, very difficult to ruffle. She takes everything in stride, even the “weird” things. Since her slate is so blank, she assumes that just about anything is possible and seems to “normalize” any event that sticks out in her mind. She is very composed, as if the ability to panic was blasted out of her at the time of her corruption. As she sees it, a solution to any given situation will come in time.
Observant – Justine doesn’t want to miss a single detail of her new life. She is an active learner, paying sharp attention to what she is taught and soaking in all kernels of information she can find. Her determination to make something of herself in her new life seems to have sharpened her memory, to the point that she can detect minor changes in certain details (haircuts, objects being moved, so on and so forth).
Creative – Justine’s penchant for creative endeavors still remains with her. She has a knack for finding alternative uses for objects and people, and putting these uses together for all kinds of outcomes. Lots of the time, these unique uses show up in her art (her commanding officer is riding a ketchup bottle missile! That person over there is floating on a marshmallow in a coffee cup! Queen Laurelite is sitting on Godzilla’s shoulder as he rampages through Destiny City! The list goes on). Odd cameos in art are kind of her speciality.
Flaws: Creepy – Justine can be downright unsettling at times. A combination of her listless demeanor and the bizarre things that come out of her mouth gives her a very creepy vibe. She makes absurd threats with a straight face, invades the personal space of and stares at people she wants to use for “models,” and occasionally stalks people she finds interesting. Said interesting people will often show up in her art, regardless of whether they have expressed approval or not. How the subjects show up can be disturbing in itself, and not always because the subject is having something bad happen to them (sure, that lieutenant over there is intact in this drawing, but he’s only wearing an apron as he cooks what appears to be a youma stew).
Apathetic – When Justine doesn’t care, the depths of her not caring know no bounds. It’s not unheard of for her to just walk off when she’s not interested in the matter at hand and isn’t required to be there. If it doesn’t catch her interest, it might as well not exist. She will show minimal reaction, and then change the topic.
Fantasy-Prone – While Justine does have the ability to draw logical conclusions about situations, she finds the ridiculously out-there conclusions to be more fun. If an officer is missing from a meeting, she might know it’s due to a civilian business matter, but she has already imagined bunches of other reasons, some of which involve romantic encounters with youma. And she’ll tell everyone that that officer is off dating a youma. Yes, it’s a joke and she’ll tell you as much, but she’ll say it seriously enough that it makes people wonder.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Grey and narrow.
Hair: Long (slightly past shoulder-length) and black, with straight bangs (her hair in general is super straight... I think the style is called a hime cut). Two strands of hair hang in front of her shoulders. She greatly enjoys hair ornaments and is almost always seen with one, whether it’s a flower or a hair clip.
Face: Like her former brother's face, it starts out a bit square and then becomes angled towards the chin. Clear complexion.
Clothes: She likes simple but cute dresses.
