How to Earn a MedalFor
Milestone Medals, post in this thread (using the form below) with the medal you are claiming and a link to the roleplay if necessary.
For
Event Medals, typically participation is the only thing required to earn a medal. Sometimes more than one medal will be given out to commemorate an event based on level of participation or MVP status, however these will be publicly announced, typically right after an event ends.
For
Special Medals, a character must be nominated to earn these. They may be nominated by the player, another player, or a staff member, but all nominations must be sent in to the shop mule,
The Space Cauldron. While you may not request a specific medal, if you feel a character has done something that warrants acknowledgement or reward, voice it! Everyone will be considered, however please include a solid reasoning and links to roleplays as support.
Tips: Get involved! Characters who are deeply involved in the Negaverse have more of a chance of being noticed. Don't be afraid to submit plots or run events!
Receiving a MedalTo receive a medal ICly, there are a few different options:
For
Milestone Medals, you can handwave a General King or Queen individually rewarding the medal to your character, or to roleplay receiving the medal you can PM the player of a General King or Queen
or the shop mule to request either of the current NPC General Queens. Due to RL demands, the player General Kings and Queens may not always be available for roleplay, however the NPC General Queens will always be available (though depending on demand, players should be prepared to be involved in a small group roleplay to receive milestone medals).
For
Event Medals, these will be publicly announced and rewarded at the time of the event's close.
For
Special Medals, these will be given out by a General King or Queen in one of two ways, to be determined by the player:
* a one on one roleplay; details will be discussed when an agent has been chosen to receive such a medal.
* a ceremony, where multiple agents will be summoned to participate at once.
Medals Appearing on ArtReady to display your medals for everyone to see? Once you have earned and claimed your medals you may request that they appear on the next piece of art you get, be that a regular growth or through an alternate powered art slot.
Rules and Guidelines* Make sure you inform the artist doing your art that you would like to have medals displayed.
* No matter how many medals you earn you may only display
3 medals at a time on your artwork.
You are free to choose your favorites however.* Medals do not necessarily have to appear in the traditional chest area. Feel free to be creative and put them on the chest, a hat, a belt, or even on their weapon!
As long as it's tastefully done you have artistic freedom.*
Random ribbons and medals can no longer be a part of a Negaverse character's design. Only earned medals may appear on artwork.* There are certain characters within the Negaverse that already have medal or ribbons as part of their designs. These character stages are grandfathered in, however when that character grows their next stage may only display earned medals.
For easy reference, please only use one post per character; you may edit this post to add more medals as you ear them, but this makes tracking what medals each characters have much easier! If you have already made multiple posts to claim medals for a single character, please just strike out or delete the post and edit all the claimed medals into one post!
