A lot had changed, six months when fighting a war was a lot of time. And in that amount of time many things could change, and had. Bazzite and Alois had done a lot of that changing, among other things. But those two things had been the biggest factors. Tonight though he was caught up in the rush and in the passion for hurting senshi and grabbing energy.
So caught up was he that he went and moved to pin the eternal senshi under his slighter weight. Using his own strength to hold her in place as he straddled her. His legs pressing in tightly to her sides, perhaps hurting her, as his right hand went right to her chest. Plunging in as he aimed to put an end to this senshi's life. It would be one less senshi and the fact she was eternal made this kill an even better thing, he really had no reason to doubt this would be a clean kill for him.
"Die." The single word was coldly spoken as slate hued eyes stared down into the red headed senshi's eyes.

"Are you okay??" Valhalla called over to Ganymede, watching as a youma attacked him while he did his best to keep the other youma away from the swing.
But even more so than the youma attacking his partner, there was another flux in energy, as if someone was tampering with the auras... but how was that even possible? It was almost as if the energy signature was a candle, and a gust of wind was making it flicker, dangerously close to being put out...
It was the Eternal he'd felt before... and there was the aura of the General as well.
A beam of magic shot at the youma in front of Ganymede had it dropping to the ground where it flailed in confusion, but that was all he could offer to the senshi as his focus was drawn elsewhere. He was sure Ganymede could feel it too and hoped he wouldn't think poorly of him for all but abandoning him, but Valhalla couldn't leave another to be killed. Especially if it was in the way he feared.
"Get off of her!!" the knight yelled, rounding the other side of the bumper cars, near the swings. His heart practically stopped at the sight of Maia on the ground, and before he could think of anything better to do, he launched himself at Benitoite, willing to wrestle him to the ground if need be.
Rolls: 1 - 6 (2): Stuck on the swings! 1 - 10 (6): Attacked by youma! Still stuck! 1 - 10 (6): And... still stuck. ;; 1 - 10 (2): Stuck and attacked. 1 - 10 (1): Forever stuck and attacked once more. 1 - 10 (10): Finally unstuck!! 1 - 10 (9): Dusted youma! 1 - 10 (5): Defending! 1 - 10 (7): Defending!
Chaldene had been doing well, or so he thought, he wasn't dead yet nor was he injured badly. Both of those things were pluses in his book. So as his confidence grew he felt more comfortable in moving about and when another youma came at him he had no issue in kicking at it. He really should pick something up which he could use as a weapon, it would be a good idea, however much he was against fighting. He was stuck here and people needed help. When he got home he could hide behind his computer screen and try to forget this whole thing. These might be youma, and not officers, but he didn't like fighting and all the chaos all around and the noise and everything. It was a sensory and emotional overload for him and it wasn't one he liked. The good thing though was being alive and uninjured as he kicked the youma away from him.
Ian/Chaldene's rolls
- Bump cars - The ride is getting the better of you: regardless of what team you are on, you are having some difficulty with your 'chosen' location. Dizzy, stuck on something, fallen out of the bumper car, attacked by a youma and taken damage: you are put in a bad situation. - Order, you are fighting youma, with numbers 5 and up allowing you to dust them! - You are free of your ride! You must deal with the impact of it, and figure out just how you've gotten free, but you are free nonetheless! Chaos, you may attack senshi and civilians once you're free of the ride! - Youma attack! If you are not in a battle with a Negaverse soldier or rolling in response to something they have done, this number reflects a youma attacking you successfully. You may have been injured in this attack. - Defense force! You are handling yourself well against the youma attacks, and are likely able to fend off their attacks. Lower rolls in this range likely come with small injuries, while higher end rolls can result in youma dusting. This may also reflect the strength of your attack against a Nega. - Defense force! Suddenly Maia found herself pinned to the ground and she was seized with a blind panic that made her start thrashing violently, in pain from the tight grip. Even though she thrashed he barely moved. She knew where this was going, she could see it a mile away and her heart was racing.
"Get off of me," she shouted, though her voice trembled, "get off of me you monster."
Her hands were pinned and there was little she could do to escape in her inability to unbalance him. And so it was, he stuck his hand in her chest and she was let out a pained screamed, though it seemed to get caught in her throat. Her eyes were wide and filled with tears, she didn't want to die here. She was still fighting despite the hand, but the pain was so much.
She vaguely heard a voice calling out before she felt a swimming sensation. She would lose consciousness soon.
As his gloved hand closed around his prize he gave a triumphant smile, this was what he wanted. He would put an end to a high level senshi tonight. This would please Painite and it was already pleasing him. This was a sure thing, as far as he was concerned. And then...that voice.
He barely had time to turn his head, let alone react, before he was slammed into and brought to the ground. His hand yanked viciously out of the eternal senshi's chest, the starseed he'd been holding went up into the air and landed on the ground right near the downed red headed senshi. At least the senshi would die, even if he didn't have the starseed in his hand, as he'd felt it leave the senshi's chest along with his hand.
Twisting around to lay on his back he stared up at the knight. He'd seen him - once. He couldn't remember his name but the petite general didn't much care at the moment either. "I don't think it matters any more...she's as good as dead." He stated with a pleased smile on his face, like the cat which had gotten the milk and the canary.
Ganymede was keenly aware of his own inexperience.
That wasn't to say he never had any idea what he was doing, though it often felt that way and likely seemed to others (perhaps deservedly) that he was sill fairly ignorant. They would not necessarily be wrong in thinking that; despite his efforts to find the answers and begin to understand, and his desire for knowledge and information, there remained certain situations that he didn't know how to deal with.
A Senshi without their starseed, near death, and made so by a General who had previously attempted to harm one of his teammates, was one such experience.
Ganymede made quick work of the youma he faced, gave the civilian a none-too-gentle shove in a direction that seemed safe, and ignored his injured arm as he sprinted after Valhalla, looking on in horror at the scene that had unfolded elsewhere among the rides. If he had been under any lingering effects of two beers before this moment, it was no longer the case. The scene was a sobering one, forcing Ganymede to confront the tragedies of the war again before he was ready to do so.
He was torn between helping Valhalla against Benitoite and helping the Eternal on the ground. What could he do for her? What had happened? Was he too late? What if Valhalla was hurt next? He could stomach that even less than he could stomach this.
Then he saw it on the ground by the Senshi.
Her starseed.
Ganymede rushed for it, picking it up and cradling it protectively in his hands as he kneeled before the Senshi. (Did he recognize her? He thought he might. From the Surrounding or the ambush. He wasn't sure he knew her name, but he was sure he'd at least seen her somewhere.) He watched her grow closer to unconsciousness, and swallowed down the fear and dread that threatened to clog his voice.
"I don't know what to do," he said, quietly, panic-stricken in the face of the dying Senshi, before raising his voice to shout over the commotion, "Val! What do I do?! I don't know what to do!"
In theory is seemed simple. It had been pulled out of her chest; clearly it needed to be put back in.
With Valhalla occupied and likely unable to respond or offer his assistance, Ganymede did the only thing he could think of through the blind panic. He brought the starseed to the Senshi's chest, gently cupped between his hands.

Zia was probably too used to being unseen. Even when she wasn't, she always had several back ups in place. Powering up either to escape or blast energy, her own physical dealings with youma, all of it was always an option and so in the back of her mind, being cornered and unable to do anything for herself seemed like such an impossibility.
Things seemed to happen at a snail's pace and at the same time, too fast for her to interfere. Suddenly she'd been scooped up by Pascal and her assailant had been dusted by Delphi. She did nothing. The resulting feelings of the encounter muddled together at the pit of her stomach and she got to work covering them up.
"Ah, right, tch" She said, winking at Delphi in response to her smile and statement about paying attention.
She had her arm held out in front of her, and her eyes went to tracing the bite patterns in the agitated flesh where it had latched on. This is where the pain hit, but through her grimace she realized that as much danger as she was in, Pascal was right there too.
As comforting as she found his arms around her, she was racked with a sudden panic that they would end up shredded by teeth too, or worse. And she still clung to this boy, selfishly, reasoning that the fact he was there with her at all was selfishness, why stop here?

Pascal had been good at remaining unseen but in order to get to Zia he put everything on the line. Standing there holding him in his arms, he began to walk away from the page with her without much regard for the mini terrorist. It was their fault this was happening, but instead of saying anything he simply scoffed at her and pressed his back against a flat surface. It wasn't much but at least nothing would catch him by surprise like this.
"What were you thinking?" He whispered with a frown as he looked at the bite mark on her arm before finally settling on another question. "Are you all right?"
They were safe for now but for how long? They were practically sitting ducks.

He really didn't like this - being trapped under a knight. It wasn't that he was uncomfortable on the ground, he'd been in enough tussles on the ground before. No, he didn't find it a good position to be in when there was a knight on top of him and from a glance around the knight he saw an eternal senshi. This was not a good position to be in. Wriggling he tried to free himself of the knight that kept him pinned to the ground, it was one of these times when he wished he was larger and had more weight to use to his advantage. Instead though he all he did was try and wriggle free like a fish would try and wriggle about on dry land in it's search for water, and freedom.
It seemed, from a glimpse caught here and there, that the eternal was trying to save the other winged senshi - how quaint. He'd just rip it out again if he got free, even if not here and now. Trying to bring up a leg, between his body and the knights, he sought to gain some ability to push the knight off him, but couldn't get his leg up.
"You know - ever if you do save her - it's pointless. I'll just remove it again. Another time and another place." He spoke aloud, a smirk creeping it's way across his features. He had once spoken nicely with the blond haired eternal, the one trying to save the red haired senshi, and he had maybe upset the knight ato him but he hadn't been all that bad that evening either - right? It seemed he had changed from those nights - and he had.

Valhalla was furious. This wasn't another one of his quick outbursts when his patience was worn thin and his temper broke free. This was anger he rarely, if ever felt. He'd seen this boy... this child... who couldn't possibly be older than himself... play with the life of someone else. Because this was Maia, because this was Lily... well... having a friend of his being on the brink of death wasn't exactly any way to gain his sympathies.
"How many have you taken??" he yelled as Benitoite tried struggling away from him. Valhalla gripped tightly to the General's shoulders, shaking him hard and shoving him against the ground. "How many people have you killed??" He wasn't going to let Benitoite get away if he had anything to do with it. His fingers dug into the fabric of the General's cape as he shook him again. "Why is it your goal to murder others like this?? Have you no morals?? Is that what Chaos does??"
He didn't even hear Ganymede as the senshi tried helping Maia. Valhalla was too blinded by the horrendous acts this person under him had done. And when Benitoite smiled that awful, evil smile, Valhalla could no longer hold himself back. Ripping a hand away from the General's clothing, he swung as hard as he could at his face. It was a strange experience for him, as he so often fought for peace and non-violent ways to settle differences, but this was too much, even for him.
Some people... maybe some people really couldn't be saved. Maybe Chaos had taken over their minds and hearts and souls to a point where there was no humanity left in them.
He swung again, and a third time before digging his fingers back into Benitoite's shoulder, shaking him once more. "How many do you have with you?? Are you hiding them somewhere??" he demanded, releasing a hand once more to feel over the young man's clothing, hoping to find a stash of starseeds he'd be able to return to their rightful owners.

Persephone ducked back away from the kick to her shins, frowning. She wasn't normally a fighter, not really, but this was going to be one of those times where she had to stand up and kick a**, wasn't it? That was a strange thought. She was never going to be comfortable with the violence that was practically required as a senshi.
Still, she was a fighter for love and justice (and pomegranates). For now, she was content to defend against his attacks, though she did snap out a foot to kick at his shins. You know, if that was how they were playing, as it seemed to be.
At least she’d gotten him away from the throngs of civilians; she considered that a victory in and of itself. Sure, there were undoubtedly other Chaos agents around, but even holding just one off would give who knew how many people time to get out.

The kick to his shins connected. He figured now was a good as time as any to "end" this little encounter. He made a mental note of her fuku and face as best he could - so he could pay her back later. Then ducking down a bit, feigning the kick to the shins hurt worse than it actually had, he scooped up some dust and threw it in her general direction. It wasn't by any means accurate - or likely to hit her at all. But he wanted to end this fight and that was the best way he could think of. With that he spun and dashed back the way they'd come. If she wanted to catch him she'd have to give chase.
Cora had prepared herself to defend againgst another youma but surprisingly, there was none coming after her. Was she really that badass? Ha! Now is my chance. Now I can find Hypnos. With those exciting thoughts in her mind, she jumped from the cup she had been spending way too much time to the platform where they were spinning and started her way towards the solid ground.
It wasn't easy to get her way out from the device, Cora soon noticed. Several times she almost got crushed by wildly spinning giant teacupS. She had also difficulties to keep herself up as the spinning earlier had messed her balance sense pretty badly.
But finally, finally she was free from the ride. She jumped down gracefully and.... fell on her side. She tried to stand, take couple steps.... and again she fell on her side. The ground she was on was solid and stable but it still felt like moving from the guardian cat's point of view.
"Heeeyyyy, could anyone make the world stay still?"

Persephone yelped and threw up her hands, covering her face automatically when he threw dust at her. Damn it, she was going to have to remember this Lieutenant and his flag for later.
Still, she was actually kind of glad for the brief respite. It gave her a chance to pause and look around to see if anyone else needed help, or scan for any other dastardly Negaversers causing trouble!

Was it the situation or was it a touch of madness, or just the rush of things? He didn't know, nor did he even give it any thought, as laughter bubbled up and past his lips. He was laughing at the knight even as he was shaken and pressed harder to the ground. "How many? How many tonight or are we discussing how many lives I've taken since joining the ranks of chaos? You must be more clear on these things." Oh yes, with all the stresses of late and coming round to his senses, thanks to Alois, and the rush of tonight he had lost himself a bit. He would surely think back on this, when he got home, and realize he must have seemed a bit unstable and perhaps a bit touched - neither of which were true of course.
"Morals? Morals I assure you I have. It is these morals which I have that are the reason I intend to take any many lives of your kind as I can." And he could only hope that red headed one couldn't be saved. It would be one less senshi in the world, one less danger for someone else to run into and be injured or killed by. Did he feel remorse for killing senshi, or wanting to kill knights? No, not in the slightest.
He hadn't expected to be punched much less three times. His head had been turned to the side and remained, even after the smacking. Bangs fell across his face, obscuring his eyes, as his lips split into a smile even as he licked the blood droplets from his busted bottom lip. His eye hurt, likely to bruise if it wasn't already darkening. His eyes was watering and half closed, not good nor pleasing. "How many are here? Oh several I'd say - this isn't my plan. Were this m mission it wouldn't be at a place like this. No, I'd have more people and something which lasted longer - many more nights." He wasn't Painite. Planning wasn't his thing, not all the details and such. He'd get too lost in those and forget things. Information gathering was were he was strong. But he had his ideas on what he'd like to do for energy gathering.
"Oh! You don't mean how many officers!" He stated as he others hand traveled down his coat. Wriggling he turned his face up to the knight again. "You mean starseeds...I'm afraid I only have two...and some energy. This senshi's would have been this evenings prize." Pouting as though upset with such a loss, and he was. He'd get her on another night though.
He really didn't like this position, not being under some knight. And so since it appeared he couldn't wriggle his way out of this he decided on a more direct approach as he aimed a headbutt for the others head.
