Hobbies:Just take those old records off the shelf -- If he believed in reincarnation, Jack would say that he'd probably died sometime in the 50's. Jack likes that old time rock and roll. This kinda music just soothes his soul. He is particularly fond of the works of Elvis Presley, James Brown and Jerry Lee Lewis. He only has a few records, because they are not always easy to come by, but his most prized possession is his record player. It is dusted everyday, and taken very good care of.
Grease Lightning -- Jack likes to sing. Jack likes to dance. Jack likes to act. He is an enthusiastic member of the drama club, and an avid fan of Broadway. His particular dream is to perform in the musical Grease, alongside Olivia Newton John, whom he adores in
any and
every era.
Let's Get Physical -- Jack has a lot of energy. A large portion of this is dedicated to his theatric pursuits and musical obsessions, but whatever is left he pours into looking
good. Jack has a gym membership, and he uses it regularly. He's a narcissist, and is very particular about his appearance. When he's not lifting weights or doing other manly things, Jack tones his abdominals with his handy-dandy hula hoop. 50's style.
Virtues: We're Gonna Rock Around the Clock Tonight-- In this young man casual confidence gives birth to a laid-back and unstoppable energy. When Jack gets going, Jack doesn't quit. Passionate and stubborn; he never does anything by halves and jumps head-first into everything that he does. This is awesome because Jack always has a phenomenally good time. This is not awesome because Jack is only human, and his failure to recognize his limits is dangerous. At parties, for example, Jack is the first man drunk. He is a singing, grooving, dancing machine-- he is also the first one sick and the first one passed out.
If you can't find a partner use a wooden chair-- Innovative, but not always efficient, Jack has an absurd answer for every question and an impractical solution to every problem. Quirky, with a flare for the dramatic and an insatiable curiosity, Jack's a quick learner and also a very diligent worker. If at first he doesn't succeed, he tries and tries again.
Only Fools Rush In -- A sucker for a pretty face and a nice set of legs, Jack falls in love at
least once everyday. Flirtatious and playful, Jack fancies himself a gentleman, and thrills to the idea of romance. Shameless, but sweet, Jack's diligence shines particularly here. He enjoys a good challenge, he says, and is unafraid of rejection. This boy has little regard for the word 'no,' or the sanctity of marriage. Bold, hopeful, and optimistic; Jack will send roses, Jack will write sonnets, Jack will hold a boombox over his head if it means winning over his lady love.
Flaws: Burning Love -- If Jack falls in love quickly, he falls out of it even faster. It doesn't take much to catch his eye, but it takes more to capture his heart. He is unfaithful, selfish, and inconsiderate, but also honest about this. Jack is not predisposed to lying and, when confronted with the folly of his ways, he will only concede. He is also unapologetic and insensitive, and does not repent for the hearts that he breaks. If he breaks them.
Trouble*-- First name Jack. Middle name Misery. He was born standing up, and talking back. Jack is an enthusiastic, fiery ball of mischief and narcissistic joy. He thinks very highly of himself, and is sometimes unnecessarily haughty and careless in his arrogance. A wild child with a rebellious heart, Jack is not as cruel as he is… tactless. He is cocky, but not intentionally unkind, and no stranger to consequences.
Travel My Way, Take the Highway-- Self righteous, self-assured and bossy; Jack's way is the right way. Obstinate and inconsiderate, Jack is not charming. He is an insolent and very spoiled brat, who sometimes has difficulty checking his temper. The discipline of Hillworth Grammar School (as well as the Negaverse) will do him a whole lot of good.
