It was slow going and involved more dragging than actually assisting Wolframite along, but the group navigated the dark, empty corridors and into the fresh, night air. The very idea of being outside was overwhelming for someone who hadn’t even had a window for the past 2 weeks left alone a gust of fresh air. It had been dark walls and cement for days upon endless days, and Wolframite rose his head up enough to look about at the dark, night sky just visible between the grim shadows of the desolate warehouses. His breathing was short, raspy, and had the faint shuttering noise that sounded like a whispering motor trying to start up leaving each breath choppy. If there wasn’t the threat of recapture, he would have dropped down and be content to sleep on the ground, but instead leaned his weight on the others. His arms and legs, pinned in one position for days, were sore, strained, and felt as if the bones were made of toothpicks. Circulation was making the skin prickle painfully, and he tried his best to put weight on them to help with the burden he was creating.

Still, they were here. They were out. He was saved. The very idea of it was hard to wrap his mind about, and he was almost waiting for reality to come by and prove that he was very mistaken.

The moment that door opened and that weak 'hey' came from to tiny - too tiny - battered, bruised, broken, and burned form of Wolframite, Bismuthite could have sworn for a second, everything stopped. Then that one word, and his feet acted on their own.

Before he knew it they had Wolframite, and were on their way out of this hell hole. Bismuthite was murmuring things, whether to himself or Wolframite one couldn't be sure, as they navigated, not sure which way they were really going, assuming they were heading out the way they came. Finally, the night sky was seen above. But even being out of that warehouse wasn't enough for Bismuthite. He wanted to be miles away and the place obliterated. Never again would any of them, would Wolframite, have to worry about returning to this place.

Still, to give Wolframite a rest - he could hear the raspy breathing that seemed to shake the small fragile form of the boy - he paused. Looked down at him, and almost felt all strength and adrenaline leave him. All the fear that had been fueling him, gone, because he had Wolframite there. Safe. And all Bismuthite could do was offer a small thankful smile on his own dirty face, eyes half hidden by oily un-washed hair, and his chin covered in a faint scruff. It was evident that the lieutenant had barely washed nor slept in the past two weeks. All though it was all nothing compared to the captives and how they looked What they went through. Bismuthite couldn't even begin to fathom it...and he didn't try to.

Fluorite had been silent for the whole time, save for one grateful look and a sigh of relief when she saw that Wolframite was still alive.

The man in her arms, however... Helicase didn't have the same luck.

But Fluorite was determined that he would not remain in this hellhole. No, she was going to carry him all the way if she needed to, but she would see that he got a proper burial.

It was the very least they could do, for someone who had suffered so much.

There was blood on her hands, fresh - was it Helicase's ?

Only Myalite and Kizakinite knew that it was, in fact, Fluorite's.

Her features were pulled into lines, and the tears were only starting to dry bu the time they made it out.

All it took was one look at Wolframite to make Proustite feel like an a**.

The other boy had been very obviously tortured, for fourteen days. He had a broken finger. While it hurt very much, their suffering was incomparable. Whatever trials he had faced in this warehouse, Wolframite had been through more. Humbled into immediate action, Proustite helped his teammates with the deliverance of the Captain to the outside world.

His eyes raked over Wolframite's beaten frame. Ears twitched at the sound of that broken breathing.

"Do you think we should knock him out?" he wondered aloud, voice very serious, and shot furtive glances at his comrades, "So he's not in so much pain?"

Was that the smartest thing to do? Proustite didn't know. He was a soldier, not a doctor.

The words just passed over his head, much as they had done for a while now, and he was left looking out of sorts, not so much THERE and more or less distracted with just looking at the sky as if for the first time. Then, after a small moment of looking about, he pulled back to a small thought. One of the most important and, if he had been more alert, would have thought of it instantly. Instead, it had taken him till now to ask and only because he looked over at another body being dragged. This one was in no better condition, but he recognized a dead body to a nearly dead one. There was too much blood from a split stomach and after just seeing the lieutenant thrown to the floor a while ago, he sluggishly connected the idea of quick death to the others.

"Where..........are ...everyone?" He asked, words a bit confused as he looked around. It hurt to turn his head, the blisters and burns on his neck and his beaten face making it hard, but without an eye, turning his head was often the only way he could look around.

"They're fighting the BMC. Rescuing the others..." Bismuthite answered quickly, as if to cease Wolframite's own searching, lest vertigo or something else set in. He was more than happy, and quite satisfied, to have Wolframite back. Satisfied with his relative safety for now, he let his mind wonder to Tanzanite. Where was she? Had someone gotten to her? Rescued her yet?

Cold as it was, those were the only two Bismuthite had been worried about. As it were, he knew very few in the Negaverse, and even fewer had earned respect enough from him to warrant remembrance, so his loyalty was probably not so much for the Negaverse as it was for the individual people. He had come, not to rescue members of the Negaverse, but to rescue Tanzanite and Wolframite. The others that were taken hostage? They were nothing to him. no one he knew personally.
Like wise, the cruelties ravaged upon both Tanzanite and Wolframite were taken very personally. Bismuthite still believed this was all his fault for having Killed Sailor Rota, after all. Could he every replay his comrades for having inflicted this upon them? Of course, he didn't know that it wasn't entirely his fault, but there was guilt in him just the same.

Bismuthite looked to where there were visible signs of battle. Should he join, or stay with Wolframite? That was the question he should have been asking himself, and the answer should have been to go and fight. However, he simply couldn't bring himself to leave the broken near unrecognizable boy. Not after just finding him again. Because Wolframite was no mere Captain to him. No other Nega. He was much more than that. He he didn't feel, at that moment, that he could trust him in the protection of someone else. No. In his mind, at that moment, there was no one better suited to protect Wolframite but himself.

"Don't worry. I don't believe that there is a soul here that doesn't wish Hell upon the Blood Moon Court. And you should know better than me that they'll deliver it."
They. Bismuthite was going no where.

Fluorite didn't answer Proustite, at least not directly, through she did look at him. "How's your finger doing ?" They would need to get that fixed... to say nothing about Wolframite. He needed medical attention, and he needed it yesterday.

But Bismuthite was seeing to Wolframite. It kept her at bay. A blind man could see that there was something in between the two of them, and she did not wish to intrude. No, he was the one who was meant to do this, to remain by the captain's side.

Eventually, someone would come to carry Helicase's body away, where they could give him a decent burial. It would be only then that the girl would go and join the fight unfolding in front of her.

They all deserved to die for this. All of them.

Then, It happened.

Flourite turned, toward the building, just in time to see it fall down, and her throat tightned. The energy... The energy was familiar. Dark.

It was one of their own.

Things were being tended to. The rest would be saved, and they would all wind up together, in the comforts of friends and well-lit places, and be able to rest at ease at last. The idea of a bed, of a accessible fridge and faucets with ample water were all calling in the back of his mind. Basic needs that had been kept from him all this time and now, being led away, he set his tiny window of hope on those. He was here, among Negas and the surge of their energy, massive surges of energy of those of the highest ranks willing to fight and leading him away. Bismuthite was here, right here, and they would go someplace far away from chains and matches.

When the ground shook, he thought it was his own lack of balance, but as it continued, causing him to fall to his knees, he turned to see the building they had been in crumble. Tin and various metal, cement, and glass split and crumbled, falling out and in as it shattered to the ground, the sound tearing at his ears and making his already throbbing head hurt – but nowhere near the pain of loss.

Eyes as wide as they could, he watched as it crumbled, and thought, desperately, that everyone was out.

When a blip of massive energy died away, he curled down, brow touching the ground and didn’t move as he shut down.

The sound of the warehouse falling and the shaking of the ground were what first drew his attention back to the place they had just come from. Then, there was the sudden loss of a massive energy... Bismuthite worried - was Tanzanite out of there? How many of their own were still in there? How many would die in the collapse, or be trapped and die? He hoped to hell that the entire Blood Moon Court would be trapped. Would die in their little hell pit. But what of Tanzanite?

Again, his concern wasn't for his own faction, but individuals. One would have thought this capture crisis that had struck so many to the very heart would have united them more, but looking back on it, Bismuthite didn't make good on that opportunity. He had gone it alone until this very mission. He felt a sudden loss, and he didn't know why. If there were some of their own still inside that building, how many potential friends did he just lose?

It was an odd thought to have pop into his head at that moment, but that was exactly what did. For a moment he stood there over the lump on the ground that was Wolframite, and just watched the building as it came down, bit by bit. Then he kneeled down by Wolframite. He....he obviously knew more of the other Negas. Obviously had been able to get to know many of them. Surely this loss...definitely this loss would hit him hard. He wasn't sure how to offer comfort right then. Hell, he wasn't even sure a gentle hand on his shoulder wouldn't cause greater harm to the battered boy. (after all, he was inexperienced with any such trauma, and wasn't really the gentle sort...) So he knelt there beside him. Silent, but there.

Sit and wait. Wait for the battle to end. Wait till they could take theirs home and tend to them....

"No..." Fluorite said, then hung her head. They had to have gotten out... they had to !

She didn't want anymore else of their numbers to die. Too many had died already. Then senshi ? Well... they deserved what they got. All of them.

The thought was surprisingly dark for her, but she didn't seem to notice. She didn't seem to care.

She hoped every damn senshi had up and died in these ruins, but she knew better than that.

She still held the broken body of Helicase close, until a hand tapped her on the shoulder. It was a captain. He told her that he would take him to the subspace now. Fluorite nodded and handed the body over, looking over Helicase one last time. His mouth had been closed earlier, and then she reached, doing the same for his eyes, gently.

There. He looked almost at peace now, but she knew better.

"Thank you."

The captain teleported, and Fluorite turned to the rest of her group, eyes lingering to Bismuthite and Wolframite for a moment. "Stay safe..." It wasn't an order. It was worry. "If you need help... call me. If any of them come your way, let me know. I'll end them." She probably wouldn't be able to do so, lacked the skill - but she didn't care. She would find a way. "I've got some retribution to hand out."

And with that, the short lieutenant rushed toward the fight.
