At precisely 2:46 in the afternoon on what seemed to be a perfectly usual summer day Everybody's Favourite Toy Store came under new management. Customers went in, but stopped coming out.
If anybody cared enough to pay attention, they might have noticed the way parking spots filled, and never emptied. From the outside, business appeared to be booming.
On the inside only one creature stirred.
Lieutenant Proustite was feeling very good about himself. It showed in the way that he strutted through the aisles behind his shopping cart. He wove his way breezily around suspiciously sleeping bodies, and was careful not to run over anybody's fingers with his little vehicle.
Because that would just be cruel.
And this was what happened when Negaverse officers on a budget cared about their nephews.
"Hmmm," Proustite mused thoughtfully, and plucked a big red fire truck from a nearby shelf. He examined it, and then added it to the impressive pile of toys already in his shopping cart. "Freddie will like that."

The parking situation had been too much for Monica to handle, with her unusual sour mood she really didn't want to bother with that many people if the store's parking spots were that full. So, she had given Ridley a reasonable amount of money and explicit instructions and told her she'd be around the corner at a coffee shop. "Call me when you're done." The matron of Pendergast told her, "and remember... nothing for yourself."
Ridley had agreed in an annoyed tone, toys weren't totally her thing given houw they didn't survive the mud baths she put them through nor the wrath of two older brothers. She liked them well enough, but not as much as probably other little girls.
Today she was shopping for a birthday present for one of her younger girl cousins, she didn't remember which one - there were so many on her mom's side - but she had a vague idea of what to look for. That didn't mean she couldn't just well, look round and stuff. Nevermind that the store seemed... eerily quiet for what should be a filled store and it just... felt weird in here. Maybe they had decided to use the toy store's parking or.. somethi-
"Haaaaaaaa," Ridley's eyes went wide, went excited. That was one big cat plush doll over there. Big ... and furry. The orange haired girl immediately diverted towards it, almost wanting to make grabby hands at the creature. That was until she tripped and fell down.
"What the hell?!" She hissed when she hit the ground. Looking back angrily to see what she had made her fall. If it was a carpet, she was going to be so mad at herself. But, it wasn't a carpet or a loose toy or something, well, normal. It was ... a person?
"What the hell?" Ridley repeated, pushing herself up a little for better view. "This isn't a place to sleep, buddy!" She yelled, angry and hitting the person with an angry fist. But the person didn't stir, didn't move nor didn't respond. Ridley's brows pushed together and looked around a little.
And then noticed the other bodies scattered in various places around her. How she missed this in the first place was something, but this was also Ridley. But still, "huh?"

Ainsley McMahon was dropped off outside of the store because frankly parking was far too atrocious to even think of doing. She didn't go right inside though and instead she lingered outside to stare at all the cars in the parking lot, trying to count them. It wasn't very hard to count them when she didn't have to go back and subtract ones that drove off. It was weird that none of the cars were leaving, perhaps the store really had everything anyone could ever want? How interesting and most tempting! Certainly enough to have the child on her heels and heading into the store with most curiosity.
It was rather quiet inside, and Ainsley found herself looking around rather curiously. Where were all the people at? Did they come into the store at all or were they all outside in their cars? That certainly seemed possible, if not logical in any way. She had brushed the thought off to look at some of the boardgames that were in an aisle, but it came back to haunt her when she kicked something on the ground.
Her eyes immediately shot down to see what toy she had kicked when she realized it was a rather large man. She let out a gasp, and quickly found herself leaning down to inspect him. She gave him several pokes with her finger to see if he would wake up but he didn't even move. Why on Earth was there a man sleeping in the middle of an aisle?
"Mister," she said as she grabbed hold of his shoulder and tried to shake him awake. "Mister wake up."
Nothing.
Then suddenly it all made sense when she looked down the aisle to see several other people on the floor in a similar fashion as the man at her feet. There was only one reaction that the child could have and that was panicking. It was all her fault. How could she have done this to everyone? She must have learned how to use her senshi powers as a civilian and they had accidentally put everyone in the store to sleep since she couldn't control it!
What was she going to do?
