After work, I walked outside. The rain had ended,but small drops still rained down upon my face as I stood in the cold air. A stupid choice to make I know, considering I'm ill and all.
But, I didn't feel the cold. I didn't see, and/or couldn't tell that I was shiverng. I just sang. I sang and watched my breath turn into mist right before my very eyes.
I heard a dark whisper beside my ear. The shadow was laughing at me it seemed: " Look at you acting so cool as you lean against those frigid bricks. Your mind is shut-- what is it that pulses through your head? "
I stared into the city light s and just shrugged, " I am thinking about the one that I love...she's like an obsession now, and it makes me very upset. "
' Love is a pitiful thing-' the shadow replied back. But, I ignored his comment, " Gabriela is my life, but I don't thnk that I'm good enough for her. I feel that I am weak whenever I speak to her. "
For this was true. Of course, she had not the strength either when it came to being over-dramatic in the romance section.
' Well, what do you expect? You panic...you freeze. Your moves are too forced and all wrong! ' the shadow glared at me before fading away, ' And you're probably right..she'll find somebody else. '
And he was gone.
