Hobbies:

Cheerleading - Be. Aggressive. B-E aggressive! Dawn began cheerleading at a young age, when she participated in a community youth program. She was a cheerful, athletic child who enjoyed music and dancing, so her parents thought it would be a good fit for her. They were right. Dawn has been cheering ever since, switching from the youth program to Meadowview’s cheer squad as soon as she began highschool. The school colors definitely aren’t her favorite, but she wears them with pride.

Social Media - Like most of her generation, Dawn grew up never knowing a world without the internet. As she’s advanced through school and participated in a number of extracurricular activities, she’s developed a steady presence on social media — not so much that she has any sort of wider influence, but she has plenty of friends and occasionally lets her opinion be known to the masses. Mostly she enjoys posting pictures or making silly videos, and scrolling through the relevant apps for the same content from others.

Outdoor Activities - Maybe it’s a side-effect of her commitment to various athletics, but Dawn would much rather be outside than cooped up indoors. Even during summer vacation, when she has a break from school sponsored sports, Dawn can often be found engaging in some sort of outdoor activity. She likes hiking. She likes bike riding. She likes a good beach day. She’ll join some friends for a game of volleyball in the sand, or drop in on an outdoor yoga class, anything to get outside and enjoy the weather.

Virtues:

Diligent - Dawn has proven herself to be hardworking and responsible, both at school and in her day to day life. She completes her homework on time. She does her chores without complaint. She studies when necessary and keeps her grades up. Being on the cheer team means serving as a representative of her school, and Dawn takes this task very seriously. She isn’t the type to give up easily, and will try, try again even when the going gets tough.

Reliable - Dawn strives to be dependable. Always ready to offer a willing ear or a shoulder to lean on, she wants to be there for her friends — for their good times, and their bad times, too. No matter the circumstance, she can be relied upon to be on time, and ready and willing to assist in whatever way might be needed. She has a warm, earnest presence, and can take decisive action whenever her friends might waver.

Flaws:

Perfectionist - Putting in so much hard work can have its downsides. Though she will continue to try despite the outcome, Dawn doesn’t always handle failure with a level head. She can become visibly and verbally frustrated when circumstances devolve in spite of her best efforts. She has a lot of high-minded ideals she expects other people to follow, too, and she has been known to grow resentful if they fail to live up to her expectations one too many times.

Sensitive - She might project a spirited image, but Dawn has a habit of giving too much of herself and can end up getting her feelings hurt. She has a lot of strong emotions and takes things personally, even things that have nothing to do with her. Dawn will rise in the face of a challenge and confront a hardship head on, but those challenges and hardships still take a lot out of her. Supporting others and promoting her ideals isn’t as easy for her as she makes it seem.
