Anime || Kirika tends to prefer shounen and horror to shoujo, but she’ll give a good magical girl series a try. She’s liked anime since she was a kid, but she’s always had to be quiet about it, since it’s not exactly a parentally-approved hobby. She’s currently following a few series, and is always on the lookout for new things to watch. It’s great background noise while she’s working on things.
Fantasy Literature || Kirika loves fantasy of all kinds--from the gritty realism of A Song of Ice and Fire to the YA fun of Tortall or the Throne of Glass series. She has an easier time getting this past her father, who is rarely inclined to care what she’s reading as long as she’s reading something.
Art || Kirika is a practiced artist. She’s been taking commissions for years, and has a fairly well-refined art style that she’s very proud of. It’s something she can only put so much time into, but taking a few commissions every once in a while helps give her a little spending money that isn’t controlled by her father, and it’s fun to draw fanart for her favorite books and series.
Otome Games || ........shut up they're great. Kirika loves a good otome game, and she actually enjoys playing them in both English and Japanese, depending on what's available for a particular game. She has a blog where she posts reviews of games she's played (sometimes with comparisons between the localization and the original) and writes walkthroughs so that other people can get exactly the happy ending that they desire. It's nice, Kirika finds, to turn her work brain off, turn her Switch on, romance some pretty boys, and generally have a good time.
Virtues:
Collected || Kirika is very, very good at keeping her cool, and doesn’t let herself get ruffled by setbacks. She’s generally very underemotional and restrained, and will do her best not to cly off the handle or let her feelings drive what she does. Her cool, collected personality might not win over everyone around her, but it certainly does help her keep her head in a stressful situation.
Principled || Kirika has a core of principles that she believes in, and that she sticks to quite closely. She wants to protect people who can’t protect themselves, help those who need it, and see justice done against people who hurt others. She can be very uncompromising about these beliefs, but generally, the principles she keeps close make her an honest, straightforward, trustworthy person, no matter how cool and detached she comes across as. Kirika might not be your best friend, but she won’t lie to you or cheat you, and she certainly won’t let unnecessary harm come to people around her if she can stop it.
Ambitious || All her life, Kirika has had it drilled into her that she is an exceptional child from an exceptional family, and she is expected to live up to that standard. As a result, she’s become a hard worker with high ambitions; someday, she intends to make partner in her father’s law firm, and prove that she’s just as good as he wants her to be, and she is very willing to put in every bit of work that she needs to in order to make that a reality.
Flaws:
Detached || Kirika is cold as ice. She shuts people out, won’t let them get close to her, and is never going to show how much she cares about something. Everything is at best a vague interest and at worst an inconvenience, and that often includes people, too. While she certainly does have feelings under the surface, she rarely expresses them, preferring instead to
Self-Righteous || Kirika absolutely believes that she’s probably right in any circumstance. Even if she’s unequivocally wrong, she’s confident in her choices. She’s absolutely terrible at self-reflection, and instead will make every excuse for why she did something, and will dig her heels in and debate down whoever disagrees with her long before she’ll acknowledge that she could ever even sort of be wrong.
Overworked || For all her external lack of care, Kirika really does work extremely hard...to the point that she pushes herself to and beyond any reasonable limits. She downplays her exhaustion, picks her efforts apart, and generally refuses to recognize that she’s overworking herself, but she absolutely does.

Sailor Scout Attack: Cremation Blaze!
Izanami holds a hand up in front of her face and speaks the name of her attack, and blue fire ignites around her hand. She then gestures at one target, and the target appears to be engulfed in blue flames. The target will feel as if they are being cremated from the inside out, with a sensation of pain akin to first degree burns over the entire body. The fires last for 25 seconds, but at player discretion, lessened pain can linger after the end of the attack, and the target can be left with minor burns. Izanami can use this magic three times per battle.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Cremation Pyre!
Izanami holds a hand up in front of her face and speaks the name of her attack, and blue fire ignites around her hand. She then gestures at one target, and the target appears to be engulfed in blue flames. The target will feel as if they are being cremated from the inside out, with a sensation of pain akin to second degree burns over the entire body. The fires last for 35 seconds, but at player discretion, lessened pain can linger after the end of the attack, and the target can be left with moderate burns. Anyone who touches the target will experience the same burning pain on whatever part of their body came in contact with the target, but not the possibility of damage. Izanami can use this magic twice per battle.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Hellfire Crematorium!
Izanami speaks the name of her attack, spreading her arms wide. Bright blue fire spreads out around her, to a radius of 10 feet. Anyone Izanami considers an enemy within the radius will also appear to catch on fire, and will feel as if they are being cremated from the inside out. The fire lasts for 20 seconds, but can leave behind lingering pain and damage up to moderate burns at player discretion. Izanami can use this attack once per battle.
Powered Passive: Ashes to Ashes -- Izanami trails sandalwood-scented smoke and ash wherever she goes. Embers fly off her body and clothes, and she leaves footprints marked in ash. These effects are somewhat subject to the weather, and can be dissipated by wind or rain, but if left alone, the ashy footprints will last for approximately ten minutes before vanishing. The embers, however, fizzle out very quickly and cannot cause any fires or catch on anything.

Other worlds sometimes turned to Izanami to handle the bodies of their deceased, given the elaborate and in-depth rituals Izanamites performed to send off the souls of the deceased.

Kaien Gozen, father: Ruthless and domineering, a powerful corporate lawyer who has worked hard to get to the top and gleefully crushed competition under his heels. an angry man with a violent temper, Kirika is both crushed under the weight of her father's aspirations for her nad utterly depserate to live up to them.
Rena Gozen: A quiet homemaker who, while she does her best to raise her children, is generally much overshadowed by her ambitious and often cruel husband.
