It had been a quiet night, so far, and Izanami was enjoying the serenity of it. Peace and quiet was sort of a rarity for her, for so many reasons, and so she was glad to find it where she could.
The breeze caught her hair, blowing it around her, and picking up the smoke and ash and cinders that seemed to trail her wherever she went. A little piece of her world, of her sphere, carried with her everywhere she went.
She considered pulling her Switch out of subspace, but that seemed like a good way to get herself in trouble, so she set the thought aside, instead letting herself watch the park below her for any strange-looking movement. She'd taken a seat on the rooftop of one of the buildings overlooking this particular urban green space, and it made for as good a spot as any to keep an eye on things below. Not that she had a perfect view--the building wasn't tall enough for that--but it gave her a broader look at what was going on, at least.

Tonight was strange for Osiris. There was literally nothing to report on. Normally he wouldn't mind these types of patrols, but for some reason he just felt like tonight something should be happening. The breeze was nice and calm. Almost too calm for him. He definitely needed something to do.
He tried to think of something to do, but nothing came to mind. Then he quickly realized there was a park nearby. Maybe, just maybe something would be happening there. At this point he would take anything.
So he quickly raced towards the park. While was running he kept an eye out for anything that might be able to help him feel less bored tonight. He knew that parks were often a hub of activity for him as of late, so he figured it was worth a shot. Hoping to find something fun and exciting or even just someone to talk too, he sprinted to the park with anticipation.

Izanami noticed motion below her, and tilted her head to the side. It was someone moving quickly, fast enough that she figured they had to be a Senshi, and honestly, getting to talk to someone seemed like a nice break, as long as they were on her side and not likely to pick a fight.
Two things that didn't always align, but usually did, at least.
So she stood up, and jumped down from the rooftop, landing carefully on the path into the park and moving to catch up with the Senshi that had run by--she was sure, because she could see him, and there were so many obvious Sesnhi markers, and wasn't that always so convenient.
"Hello," she said, as she caught up with him. "Quiet night, tonight."

Arriving at the park it all seemed pretty normal, that is until a Senshi came from out of nowhere. The Senshi looked different from himself, but in an interesting way one that intrigued himself. Since he really hadn't meet to many new order senshi yet. Most of the ones he did know were like family and they didn't extend outside of Egyptian like spheres.
He turned and spoke, " Hello there! It is very quiet, and honestly it was driving me crazy, if you know what I mean." He finished his sentence with a slight laugh. Since most people might like quiet but with the week he's had, he felt like if he didn't have something happening it was wrong. He was very relieved when he heard a voice from his side, as it was a much needed distraction. He figured it would be safe to introduce himself now, after all if they were on his side what could it hurt?
So he smiled and quickly introduced himself, "I'm Osiris, Senshi of Justice by the way and it's a pleasure to run into you."

Izanami nodded, smiling wryly. "It does feel that way sometimes, doesn't it?" She agreed. "Like if nothing is happening, you must be missing things." Though, truth be told, she was glad for quiet, all things considered.
Better this than banks on fire and civilians in danger and her Dark Mirror friend in pain.
Still, there was a layer of antsiness, a desire to find trouble or perhaps create it, no matter how much she enjoyed the peace and quiet. Being a Senshi was not, after all, a peaceful or quiet occupation, and Izanami might enjoy moments, but she wasn't generally given to stillness herself.
"Izanami of Cremation," she introduced herself. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Osiris." The more people she knew, the more allies she made, the better. "Would you like to patrol together for a little while? We can walk the circuit of the park and see if anyone's up to any nonsense, and perhaps two of us will scare off any Chaos miscreants up to dangerous mischief."
It seemed a sound plan, really. Walk along, talk a little, and if they had to fight, the odds would likely be in their favor.

Osiris was glad to find someone that understood. "That is exactly it." They had summed it up nicely, even though he wasn't sure what he could be missing on a night like tonight.
As he listened to them introduce themselves he was intrigued. He knew a sphere similar to her, but she was smaller. While he knew it was definitely two different ends of the spectrum, she was a mummy senshi. They were different but similar. He was interested in the dynamic between the two. He already knew this would be interesting and an effective way to start making some friends outside of his Egyptian Senshi circle.
"Sure I'd love that. I mean who knows what we might find?" he exclaimed enthusiastically as he pointed towards the playground. "Should we try that way?"
After his suggestion he spoke again. "Oh and I think your sphere is very interesting. I met a Chibi Senshi whose sphere was mummies. I didn't realize there were so many similar yet different spheres out there."

Izanami gave a brief nod, and turned in the direction Osiris indicated. It was nice to have a companion, to have someone to chat to while they patrolled. Better than whiling away the hours alone and bored.
"Mummies? Fascinating," Izanami said. She considered. "I've met a fairly wide variety of Senshi. Hunger, spruce, sunrise, plasma. Now justice. I'm beginning to believe that, with as many Senshi as there are stars in the sky, there are as many spheres as there are aspects of life. We're quite fascinating."
She hummed, briefly. "Have you ever been to your world? I go to mine as often as I can, it's....lovely." She sighed, fondly, remembering the twilit expanse. "And the more time I spend there, the more alive it becomes."

As they walked Osiris realized it had been awhile since he had been on patrol with someone like this. He actually didn't mind it. Thankfully walking like this didn't give his mind time to wander. He found it calming to have someone to talk to and share the patrol burden with.
"Ya she definitely is unique. I can give her that." He said remembering the time she used her mummy wraps to wrap up a nega once. He never would have thought of mummified bandages as weapons until that Chibi. As he listened to Izanami list all the senshi she knew he was amazed, "Wow you have met so many different spheres. It's amazing! I am familiar with mostly Egypt-based ones till now, but I agree with you on that. Senshi are definitely fascinating, and I don't think I realized how much until recently." He thought about the conversations he'd had with the Senshi so far, and realized that he'd learned something new from each of them too. Maybe the Senshi were in a world of their own.
He quickly shook his head and shifted his attention back to his current conversation. "That's amazing. My best friend visits his world frequently, but I haven't had a chance to visit mine. I'm hoping to visit soon, since I am wondering what Justice would look like. So if you don't mind me asking, what is your world like?" he questioned. Since he was extremely curious, maybe hearing about other worlds could help him prepare for his journey to his.

Izanami gave a brief, thoughtful nod. Egyptian-based...she supposed that if Sailor Osiris knew the Senshi of Mummies, that was certainly an Egyptian sort of circle. That was another fascinating layer--how their names and spheres seemed somewhat connected to things on Earth, while also being...well, planets in space.
"I've been lucky, to find plenty of friends and allies since becoming a Senshi," Izanami said. Enemies, too, of course--she hoped she never ran into the General with the chakrams again--but mostly allies, she liked to think.
"Ah, my world," her gaze softened, and she smiled, fondly. "It's..beautiful. Always twilight, when I visit. Usually, I end up near the manor that belonged to the last Senshi, and outside it, there's this beautiful blue cherry blossom tree, on a hill above a graveyard. Which sounds macabre, but it's so....peaceful, there. I love it."

Osiris would say that having plenty of friends and allies is critical for Senshi, but he didn't always realize that. Actually he felt like sometimes he took it for granted, and he regretted that. After tonight though he planned on making some amends, and probably giving away a lot of free food.
Just the thought of him bringing all the food to his friends' house made him laugh a bit. They definitely weren't the types to throw parties or anything so it would come as a shock probably. "I have to say I agree with you. Friends, allies, they are all very essential, and you've helped me realize I may need to say hi to a few I have been neglecting a bit," he said kindly. Senshi had really forced him to think, and he was thankful for that.
Seeing her expression change was something else. "Well your world sounds wonderful. Cherry blossom trees really glow in some lights and I'm sure your world has a few of those," he thought as he pondered everything they talked about.
"I have to say just seeing the expression on your face makes me realize I can't wait to see mine. I mean just having a peaceful place like that - I'm sure it can make such a difference especially after rough battles or patrols." He spoke from experience - after that crazy bank battle he could have really used somewhere to go after. Somewhere where he could find the peace he truly needed.
With that thought in his head. He looked at his watch, and realized that they had been out on patrol a little longer than he had expected. Man did time fly when you were in good company. "I wanted to say Thank you for tonight. I think I have a new goal in mind, and that goal is to see my world. It might be a mess at first but I can't wait to think about mine the way you do." This was a step in a direction that he was happy to go in. "But with that in mind, I think I need to go get some plans in place. I hope we can meet again sometime!" he said with a smile and a wave as he walked towards his dorm. Since he wanted to get started on planning as soon as possible. Noir Songbird Edited this tag a bit.
