It had been nearly a year since Izanami had become a Super Senshi. Since she'd gone to her world and found her past self's bones and cremated them, and perhaps given that wandering soul proper rest.
She sat, powered up, on a park bench, watching the sunset as it bathed the park in the colors of her homeworld's permanently twilit sky, and she pondered. Perhaps she ought to do something to mark the occasion. A lantern lighting on her world, or something. Or perhaps she just ought to bring the most expensive incense she could buy, and some good sake, and a desire to honor the Izanamis that had come before.
Either way, she was lost in thought, watching the sunset and enjoying the quiet of the park.

Just because Angelica liked Sappho…like really liked Sappho…that didn’t mean she couldn't appreciate when there was a pretty girl in her vicinity, and there was one right now.
“Is this seat taken, if you’re not like…wanting to be alone, would you mind having some company?” She kept her voice soft so as not to startle the other Senshi, but…honestly the idea of spending some time with a very pretty White Moon girl was…kind of wonderful, honestly.
“I’m Angelica, Senshi of Spruce, it’s nice to meet you, and if you do want to be alone could we at least exchange information? I feel like I never actually meet Senshi who aren’t all tainted and warped by Chaos…I’m sort of hoping to get myself some friends or at least some people I can call if things start going south.”

Izanami was a little startled to hear someone else's voice, but she turned towards it with a polite smile and a nod.
"Not taken," she said, and she patted the space next to her. "Please, sit, and we'll talk." It was always nice to meet other Order Senshi, or Knights, and Izanami welcomed more allies she could rely on. This one was new, sure, but if he was also seeking allies, she was probably reliable.
"Unfortunate that you've had such terrible luck," she said. "I've run into my fair share of our enemies, too, so I'm always glad to run into a potential new friend. Up to anything interesting tonight?"

“Tonight has been as boring as nights can be, which…I suppose can be a good or bad thing depending on how you want to look at it. I was hoping to at least find a few youma to dust but…there’s been nothing.”
Crossing the distance between herself and the other Senshi she grinned and took a seat, smoothing down her skirt as she did so. “I don’t really mind running into those tainted by Chaos…it at least lets me attack with no qualms about it. They’re unnatural and need sense beat into them, I hope you agree.”
If she did, perhaps Angelica could be a bit more candid and if she didn’t…well. That was more than enough information to share.

"I think I'm glad to hear it's been quiet," Izanami admitted. "Getting into unnecessary fights is exhausting, even with magic designed for offense." She shook her head, a little. "Izanami of Cremation, by the by."
The other Senshi's next words gave her pause, though. Her mouth tilted down into a frown, and she shook her head, just a little. "Mm. I prefer not to fight unless they're actually causing trouble. I've made a friend or two across the other side, and generally...." Again, she hook her head. "I can't be irresponsible with my magic. It's much too dangerous. So I try not to start fights unless it's fully necessary."
The idea of just...attacking people willy nilly because they wore black sat ill with her. Even if she often felt empowered to do more as Izanami than she ever could as Kirika, indiscriminate assaults...no, that wasn't her style.

Angelica nodded trying to keep her expression neutral, but she was already bored by the conversation and not really liking where it was going. Obviously this girl and herself wouldn’t really see eye to eye…and that was fine but.
“What does your magic do? Like…cremation, hm? So I’m going to assume it’s fire related?” What a waste. Strong, offensive magic…Angelica would kill for that, sure her own magic was good enough and she could make due but…
The idea of being able to really cause harm, to overpower her enemies with magic…
That was simply the dream. And this Senshi seemed to be wasting it.

Izanami found herself feeling thoroughly wary of this conversation. If this Senshi was the type to attack people casually, that....hm. Still, it wasn't as if she could steal Izanami's amgic, or anything.
"Yes," she said. "It makes them feel as if they're being cremated from the inside out. Quite painful, and very dangerous. Not something I enjoy throwing around casually, not when plenty of them don't even want to be there." If Murikabushi had taught her anything, it was to be thoroughly judicious with her attacks.
And if this Senshi hadn't learned that lesson yet, that was...hm. Distressing. Perhaps she had avoided it on purpose, or perhaps she'd mostly run into the Unrepentant b*****d flavor of Chaos. Certainly, Izanami couldn't deny that those sorts existed. But she liked to think they were few and far between--perhaps she was wrong about that.

This conversation had become…tedious at best, but Angelica nodded with as much enthusiasm as she could and kept a cheerful smile on her face. “That sounds intense. Mine only gives like a super concentrated scent of pine tree, it’s useful to distract people but it doesn’t do any real damage.”
Unless it was swallowed as in the case of the one Dark Mirror Senshi but…that was a one time thing, and it had been so fun to see…
No, no damnit she was supposed to be playing nice. With a heavy sigh, Angelica rubbed her face and flashed a smile at Izanami. “I should get going, I think. It was really nice meeting you!” She stood and wiped off the back of her skirt, not bothering to ask for her information, honestly…not wanting to hang out with someone who was so stiff and boring and…full of themselves.
If you had strong magic, it was best to be used to scare the Chaos out of people, not kept to yourself because it was strong. This Senshi was nothing more than a wet blanket waste...and that was such a shame.
“I hope I can see you around sometime! Take care!” And with that, she walked off into the night, pleased with the freedom to roll her eyes as soon as her back was to the other.
