General King Lepidolite

User Image

General-King Lepidolite is a fine combination of laid back and hardworking (depending on the day). His record with the Negaverse is impressive and looking at the successful missions he's carried out, it's no wonder he was a prime candidate to help lead the Destiny City Infiltration Branch. Lepidolite has served in several locations across the United States and has picked up on some of the most effective methods for infiltration.

He can be described as a charming, boisterous man who, despite his affinity with practical jokes and pranks, is extremely effective. He is the Founder and Commandant of Romano's Constitutional Haven.

Name: Joseph Romano

Nickname: Joe, Sir, or just Romano.

Age: 34

Birthday: March 16th, 1986

Sign: Pisces

Gemstone: Aquamarine

Blood Type: O-

Fav. Food: Pineapple and Doritos. Not together, of course.

Hated Food: Cottage Cheese, Liver

School: Commandant of Romano's Constitutional Haven

Hobbies:

Practical Jokes - Ever since being told to 'loosen up' by someone very important to him, Joe has been a chronic prankster. More than half the time when people have to visit him, either in the office or at home, there are whoopee cushions involved, or sometimes dribble glasses. Other times he'll pretend as though something is wrong with himself just to get a laugh. Getting a rise out of other people is just so...fun.

Teaching - Joe did not discover his love for teaching until he was promoted to the position of captain within the Negaverse. Once he had his own Lieutenant to train and help grow, he realized that this was what he had been wanting...forever. He loves watching the realization spark in someone's eyes as they grasp some concept, and his favorite feeling in the world is hearing back from someone who he had a hand in teaching, and learning how good they are doing in the world. It does a man good.

Birdwatching - After living all over the United States, one of the things that Joe has become very fond of is the birds of the country. He has several books about different birds from the different states, and when he has free time he will go camping and bring his binoculars and just...birdwatch. It is terribly relaxing, and he treats it as though it is a scavenger hunt. What birds will he see this weekend? He is more than happy to take friends along with him though, teach them the ultimate relaxation technique.

Virtues:

Easy Going -- There is never any need to be upset. All it does is raise the blood pressure and cause stress for yourself and everyone around you. Both Joe's father and older brother died from heart attacks that were most likely caused by the stress in their lives, and as such, Joe has learned that stress is a person's natural enemy, and the easiest way to fight it, is to not let things get to you, laugh them off. Joe is a pro of not letting things get to him, they just roll off his back as though they never happened.

Empathetic -- Everyone has skeletons in their closets. Everyone has their own cross to bear. Joe understands, and does his best to always keep an open mind when dealing with people. He knows not everyone is always up to giving one hundred percent all the time, and will do whatever he can to help you. He will listen, he will offer a shoulder and he always has a pack of tissues on him for emergencies. It isn't difficult to be someone's hero, all you have to do is be willing to listen, and Joe is always willing to listen.

Strong Willed -- Just because Joe is willing to help people deal with their problems does not mean he is a pushover. Joe is very firm in his beliefs and does not bow to peer pressure, no matter how hard it is delivered. Sticking to one's guns is a very important thing to do, and Joe Romano is always so proud to be the kind of guy who excels at it.

Patient -- After being a teacher for so many years and and a leader among the Negaverse for so many years, excuses and reasons for not getting things done have become as common as the songs that repeat on the radio. Joe has nearly an endless supply of patience for everyone now, and it takes a very skilled person who can ruffle his feathers and cause his patience to wane. For everyone else, Joe will listen to your excuses and do what he can to try and make them happen less often.

Flaws:

Semi-Professional -- There's no denying that Joseph knows how to be professional and get the job done; the problem is that he doesn't always clearly distinguish between personal and professional lines. This leads to awkward moments where work gets brought up in personal times, or personal things get brought up during work; Lepidolite doesn't seem to see the difference and treats work like play and play like work. It's hard to tell if he's out to go have fun or if he's out to get things done. This sometimes leads to awkward situations or tension.

Intrusive -- He wants to be a part of your life, and he's going to be. Joseph likes to oversee everything and everyone around him and has no issue sticking his nose where it sometimes doesn't belong. He likes to be on top of things, likes to be invited to the parties, to the fun. The wisest thing to do is make sure you always send him an invitation; he might not always attend if you invite him, but he will always crash a party you didn't invite him to. He likes to know what's going on and be a part of things and doesn't seem to understand when others need their space.

Arrogant -- Joseph knows he's the bees-knees because everyone tells him so. While it is worth noting that his track record is exemplary, he's also had a fair bit of luck follow him (and a fair bit of failures, too, but those are easy to sweep under the rug). His successes have gone to his head and Joseph sometimes acts like he's better than everyone else, or seems to think his ideas are the only ones worth pursuing. He does not see the flaws in his own systems and refuses to listen because he's experienced and he most certainly knows what he's doing. And he's better than you.

Lazy -- It is a very fine line between easy going and lazy...and quite often...Joe will cross that line. Sometimes it just isn't worth doing all of that paper work...or going to that meeting. Sometimes it is just much better to take time for yourself...no matter the huge looming pile of responsibilities that you have. Don't worry about it until you have to worry about it. Even if it was supposed to have happened three weeks ago.

Weapon: A giant, very heavy hammer. Lepidolite calls it his Ram Hammer, because he is not very creative most of the time.

Abilities: As a General Sovereign, he has the following abilities:

  • Immense strength and speed! He outmatches even Royal Senshi in terms of speed and strength, however is on par with a Royal Knight!
  • He can easily teleport nearly anywhere he wants. He can teleport a considerable amount of people with him before suffering fatigue.
  • He can summon his weapon or dismiss it as often as he likes and suffers no energy depletion.
  • He can awaken civilians into the Negaverse either as Agents or as Corrupted Senshi. He can also corrupt Knights, Senshi or Guardian Cats into the Negaverse.
  • He can summon vast quantities of youma, both feral and intelligent. He also has the ability to summon very strong youma or corrupt others into powerful youma to aid his cause.
  • He can comfortably summon a surplus of agents to him anywhere he likes; he has great power at this stage, and Metallia has granted him the ability to draw his to him at any time he needs. He can easily summon any powered agent to him, however it is still slightly difficult to summon someone who is not powered up at the time. This ability only works on agents that are a lower rank than him, so he cannot summon his fellow General Sovereigns, Queen or Metallia!

Roleplaying with Lepidolite:

Joseph Romano/Lepidolite is available for both civilian and powered roleplay.

Lepidolite, a member of the Negaverse for several proud years, has an exemplary record of infiltration. He has a knack for getting in with the right people, and though his record is speckled with seemingly ridiculous schemes, he has run some of the most successful infiltration missions. Lepidolite was a prime candidate to take up a position leading the Infiltration Branch of the Negaverse, and he is eager to spread his teachings to everyone—powered or civilian.

His current plan for Destiny City is to run a school geared specifically for scouting civilians and training new Agents, though he's done an excellent job at keeping his true intentions from Destiny City's public. This new generation is full of untapped potential and Lepidolite is going to harness it before someone else sinks their filthy claws into them. Romano's Constitutional Haven is already reaching critical acclaim despite its newness and if you have a Negaverse Agent who wants to teach, Lepidolite wants to give you a job. School is so much more than a literal education—Lepidolite is going to use his as the foundation of a new era of Negaverse Agents and needs all the help he can get.

As commandant of this new school, he oversees whatever he likes, and even teaches a few classes of his own. He spends more time as a civilian, Joseph Roman, due to his position. While he is a prestigious member of the Negaverse, he is not all about seriousness and has a fondness for practical jokes and having fun. Whether civilian or powered, he's interested in having a good time.

Lepidolite will forcibly corrupt someone, but he is more interested in Infiltration, and his position at the school sometimes makes it difficult for him to participate in major battles—though he is clever with coming up with excuses for any injuries!

He is always interested in taking people under his wing and is at his best when in a mentorship role.
