Eveite didn't really play video games, but she did like to watch them for all of the bugs and mods that could be found or created for them. It was something she liked to do in her free time, mostly when running scans. This in turn had given her an idea when she had seen a couple of series. With her inspiration came the writing down of notes and traveling to the castle more than she used to. And then the messages were sent out. There were bites, but only one or two had truly felt like they were willing to present such an expensive idea with her. And so she was now walking towards Lepidolite's office, next to her the half-Youma general. Perhaps if she had been more interested in biology she would have asked the other about studying her. But her interests were behind a screen. The General had appeared interested in the technology of the plan and they had discussed it a bit before making the appointment with the General King. With a General with her, she felt a bit less nervous to approach Lepidolite, even if she usually had meetings with him at Romano's. Surely the Negaverse wouldn't punish someone just for an idea would they? When they were finally in front of the office she let out a sigh and looked at the General next to her. "Hopefully this shouldn't take too long. But if we manage to convince him, I hope we can find more to join us in this endeavor. I appreciate your enthusiasm in the idea." She said with a smile, before knocking on the door and holding her tablet with all of her notes tightly to her chest.

The premise was simple, but intriguing. Amazonite had to admit that the concept held her attention. Certainly it wasn't her usual area, but she knew she had some knowledge rattling around in her head on the matter, and honestly, it seemed like it had the potential to be quite fun.
....As long as the Negaverse had the stomach and the pocketbook for a bit of innovation.
She flashed the Captain next to her a smile, and gave a brief nod.
"I think your proposal has merit. It disguises itself easily, plays on a popular media property, and is likely to attract exactly the right type of attention to create a successful draining operation. I'm impressed, Lieutenant."
Honestly, if this one was generally research-minded, Amazonite sort of wanted to keep her.Siegenite, unlike the half-youma General, wasn't exactly chatty. His hands were folded behind his back, and he walked with swiftness and determination. His presence here was mostly to offer his expertise in robotics; the whole thing seemed a bit far-fetched to him, but with some Mau tech and the right resources....well.
He hadn't quite finished his doctorate before he corrupted, but he still had his thesis work, and he could make it translate. This was an opportunity not only to experiment, but to demonstrate his worth to the Negaverse more fully. He'd corrupted in willingly, certainly, but he'd brought little in the way of intelligence about the other side--so he was left hoping that he could demonstrate his worth in other ways.
As long as Lepidolite didn't find the scheme too hare-brained.

“Come in, come in,” Lepidolite called from behind his door. He wasn’t often here, if only because he spent most of his time at Romano’s, but he seemed pleased with the change of scenery. His door was heavy but not too difficult to open. Like him, everything about his office was impressive. He had great wood furniture that spoke of sophistication and luxury. Practical, of course, but his office said plenty about him. It was extravagant, a symbol of his success. It was impressive, it was comfortable. It wasn’t unlike his office at Romano’s. Framed portraits of rare birds. Shelves of expensive looking books. Trophy cases, full of an array of treasures. Magical artifacts. Broken weapons. A few Senshi brooches. Behind his desk, a massive display of medals hung behind him. He didn’t need to remind anyone that he was a General King. But, he was clearly proud of it. The office was well lit and had enough seating for more than just the three guests. It was well lit, and he had a large computer and a television put up. He probably could have used this room as a movie theater if he really wanted to–and, honestly, there was no reason to assume he didn’t. He held a hand out to each of them to shake when they entered, and greeted them by name. Because, of course he’d done his research to make sure who he was meeting with. Axinite had even been polite enough to send him their files. “Have a seat. Unless you’ve got a presentation prepared, then by all means, make yourself comfortable however you like”

Eveite walked through the door, assuming the other two would follow. She took a moment to look around and managed to keep her mouth shut about how it looked like his office at Romano's. She wondered if he had hired the same interior decorator for both accept for a few... looking at the brooches and weapons, differences. She shook the hand that was offered to her. "General-King Lepidolite, Sir." She said with a nod and took a seat, waiting for the other two to follow. She started to pull up the notes she had on her tablet, hoping that she had all of the points that they needed to go over for their plan.

Amazinite did indeed take a seat, and looked to Eveite to begin the presentation. It was her plan, after all; Amazonite was primarily here to lend it the legitimacy of a General's interest and backing. So she crossed one leg over the other, draped her tail across her lap, and folded her hands, waiting to hear the Captain's presentation.
Her eyes flicked across the walls of Lepidolite's office, and she whistled.
"An impressive display, sir," she said. She'd been in his office at Romano's before, of course, given her job as a teacher at the school--and his merciful help in letting her retain it once she'd half-youmafied, because without her job she would probably have gone quite mad from boredom.Siegenite hesitated for a moment; it was difficult for him to settle in comfortably. But he didn't want to come across as insulting a General-King, or rejecting his hospitality, so he took a seat, and looked over to Eveite.
"The good Captain has an interesting proposal, Sir, and I believe it's within my personal area of expertise." he said, eyes flicking over to Eveite as he waited for her to start.

“I hope you’d expect nothing less of me.” He was beaming, obviously proud of his display. He’d been grinning since they entered, but that seemed more out of curiosity and eagerness to see this presentation. When Siegenite spoke, he briefly looked to him and nodded. “I’m looking forward to this proposal. It seems like you’ve already got fans, Eveite. Go ahead, make me one too. Show me what you’ve got.” He leaned back in his chair to get settled, and laced his fingers over his desk. Eveite had his full attention, and his eagerness seemed ready to spill out into blatant encouragement. He was always looking for something new, for something exciting. He was ready to support Eveite, he just wanted to know what he was getting into.

Eveite had pulled up all the notes that she had written down, making sure to go over them once again before she said anything to the General-King. When she believed that she had enough of the information in her head to keep herself from looking down at the tablet too much she addressed Lepidolite. “I am proposing that we create a large multi-game and multi-shop complex that can be used for draining civilians. Dave and Buster’s is a good example, but much larger and it would have more than just arcade games. It could have different ones such as mini golf or laser tag or what have you, we can get more ideas later from Agents and come up with a much more detailed plan of the complex and what we can put in there.
“On Amazonite’s, Siegenite’s, possibly more Agents, corrupted Mauvians, Vanguardians, etc. we could use robots with crystals inside of them to drain the guests. Mascot robots, perhaps animal in nature so they aren’t as creepy and scare off guests as well as other staff such as cleaning, tickets, entry attendants, etc.
“We could use this as a giant place to subtly drain energy from any civilians who come in there while they would believe that they lost it due to the entertainment that they have partaken in. It would be a way to both gather quite a bit of energy and have anyone who wants to practice their robotic skills and even possibly advance our Mauvian technology. Of course, this will require quite a bit of money and a large enough space to build it on, but I believe that we could make both the money back and more than enough energy. I can give you a more detailed plan later after going over it with other Agents and see who may want to work there and/or work on what we need for it.” She said, sitting back a little as she finished, feeling as though she had managed to hunch over the longer she went on. She took a breath. “Amazonite and Siegenite may have more to add but that is the basic idea of it.”

Amazonite was silent through the presentation, settled comfortably in the chair and letting Eveite talk. She considered herself mostly here for moral support, but the project was interesting, and it was a chance to flex skills that she knew she had rusting in the back of her head.
"I don't have too much to say, except that I have been brushing up on my coding and I suspect I could do some interesting things. Especially with the Captain, here," she gestured at Siegenite, "since his skills pair well with mine."Ah. He supposed he sohuld have expected her to point him out, but he nodded. "We'd be pushing some of what's possible with animatronics and robotics, currently, but Mauvian technology should make it quite possible. Moreover, having advanced animatronics and systems would make for a profitable selling point. People are fascinated by new technology."
To say the least. And while Siegenite's tone was polite and professional, there was a clear and obvious undercurrent of interest. He hadn't necessarily expected to find a way to turn his skills to use for the Negaverse; he'd intended to be useful in other ways. But this was exactly within his wheelhouse.

Lepidolite listened with a relaxed expression; it wasn’t often that he seemed serious, but it was clear that in moments that required his full attention, he could focus on just the business. When Eveite finished speaking, he looked at Amazonite when she spoke, and then at Siegenite when he spoke up. Finally, he leaned back in his chair. At some point, he’d picked up a pen and begun to click it contemplatively, and dipped his head back a bit as he looked at the ceiling. “Hm,” he said at first, and then silence. A few more clicks. “It’s ambitious,” he decided, and then looked back at Eveite. “I’m interested, don’t get me wrong, but it’s a big project. I’m a man willing to take a risk for the right result, but I’m not the sort to gamble without being certain I’m going to get out more than I put in. I didn’t get where I was today by chance. It’s an interesting idea, but I’m going to need more than that. And I do have some concerns. I mean, first of all, animatronics are creepy!” He gave them a look that said he was judging them. “Mauvian technology can do just about anything, they wouldn’t have a problem building what you need. But making something attractive, that’s a whole other story. I’m going to need concept art, I’m going to need production costs, budgeting. Do any of you have business experience, or is this a shot in the dark? Because, I’ve got the money to back a project, but this isn’t just ‘place an order, get things running’. It’s going to take time to get all that put together. Sign up for business and management classes, I’ll foot the bill on that without any question.” That wasn’t a gamble. “I don’t want you to bite off more than you can chew–how big are we talking? Because if you’ve never managed anything before,” he laughed, good naturedly, but shook his head. “Trust me, I know a few things about management. It’s not easy. You’re going to need a good team, and three of you isn’t enough. I don’t want ideas ‘from the Agents’, I want researched reports. I want you to come back to my office with articles about how laser tag is hip, I want research that mini-golf is cool. I want market research on popular themes, and I want a broad proposal that will allow us to update regularly to meet those themes. Ideas are great. But bring me the evidence to support where you want me to put my money. I can’t tell if you’re going for vintage charm or cutting edge technology, but you can’t do both. So here’s what we’re going to do.” He adjusted positions again, elbows on the desk, and leaned forward a bit. “I don’t know who told you that crystals just magically drain people–the Vanguardians? They’re not real big on the entertainment stuff, so cut them out. We’re helping them, but Negaverse first. Someone’s gotta fix up those crystals and get things just right so they function. It’s not just a rock you throw in, we’re going to need specifics. Which, we can do. Get someone good in art design, someone good at marketing, social media expert, the works. Staffing is the last part of this you want to worry about. Entertainment and a good day of fun is a good cover, and I can imagine there’s a profit to be made, but don’t forget that arcades died out once before. You need to have the foundation figured before you bring me in the people you want on payroll. We can hire anyone off the street if we need to, don’t forget that.” He gave them a moment to let it sink in, but finished with, “I think the idea’s got merits, I’m interested. But you need a strong concept. I bet we can get our Mauvians on some really nice tech projects. Holograms, VR. Completely immersive landscape if you want. Don’t worry about the budget right now, I’ll do numbers. But you go do the research, come back with some designs, show me what you want, and why you think it’s the best choice. I’ll look into things myself, we’ll compare. I’ve got some connections, I’ll start looking for land and see if anything looks good. Okay?”

Eveite let out a breath that she hadn't known she had been holding. At least Lepidolite was interested and had been given the go ahead to do all of the research needed to get this project off the ground. "I understand sir. We'll get started on all of the research as soon as possible." She said with a nod, writing down all of the notes that Lepidolite had mentioned. She didn't know any chaos Mauvians at this time and the robotics and design would be better suited for Amazonite and Siegenite. "We'll get back to you with our findings as soon as possible." She said looking at the other two and waiting for a moment to see if they had more to add. If not then they could leave and start work on their project. Noir Songbird not trying to end this quickly if there's more that should be added!
