[continues from thicker than water]"So," Lilith said, voice soft, "how long have you been a Senshi?"
The revelation was still a shock. Admittedly, everything was a bit of a shock, right then, and the knowledge that her father's starseed sat in her subspace was like a physical weight."A year and change," Alkmene replied. His chest hurt, almost, with the shock of the knowledge of what his sister was. Hinata was a Corrupted Senshi. A soldier of the Negaverse.
...She was his in.
"Hina," he said, and he didn't care that they technically weren't Malachi and Hinata, "I need you to call one of your General-Sovereigns. I want to corrupt.""What?" Lilith blinked. She'd known that it would have to come to this, probably, and she'd hoped she wouldn't have to have her own brother forcibly corrupted, but to have him just...ask? It threw her off balance. But she recognized the sharp-edged determination in Alkmene's--Malachi's--eyes. She knew that look.
"....You've got your heels dug on on this, don't you.""I've been thinking about it for a while, yeah," Alkmene admitted. "It's just--I'm so helpless, like this. I can't hold a candle to the things you officers can do. And seeing you, today, what you did--stopping Dad like that--I..."
He swallowed.
"I'm sure. And I know it'll be rough, and I might lose things, and I won't be Malachi anymore, but I want to do this."Lilith gave him a long look. She took a deep breath, and then she nodded.
"Okay. We'll figure out something to tell Mom," she said, and she pulled out her communicator. This was...an insane step. Her big brother, converted into the Negaverse. But if she didn't help him, if she didn't bring him over....she was already skirting the line with her relationship with Keiko. She couldn't let it be known that she knew a Senshi's identity and didn't do anything about it.
She dialed on her communicator.
"Hello, General-King Lepidolite?" She said, politely. "This is Sailor Lilith. I have an Order Senshi who would like to Corrupt."The Space Cauldron sorry for the multicharacter opener! one lepidolite pls heart

Running a school and the entirety of the infiltration of the city was difficult work, and it wasn’t that Lepidolite didn’t enjoy what he did, but it seemed that most people preferred Axinite, and that was understandable. Axinite was utterly personable and made the most delectable cookies. Not that cookies should make his officers choose to trust the leader of the Information branch more, but bribery always helped. His own large size and the mantle of being his school’s commandant didn’t help his image, but he was glad that the party he had thrown over the plans of the new Hospital had been met with someone remembering that he, too could bring someone who was mistakenly a member of the other side into their ranks. Now, that wasn’t to say that he was going to run off without finishing his own work, though, he needed to only finish the last bit of his signature, and with a grin and a booming laugh that echoed through his office, Lepidolite teleported to the side of the corrupt and the soon to be corrupt. “So!” His icy blue eyes took in the white moon senshi with some distrust and then flickered to the Corrupt. “Lilith. Tell me why you believe this one is worthy to join our noble cause? Tell me why he shouldn’t simply be snuffed out by other means?” Perhaps this was why they went to Axinite. He did tend to be at least a little particular with who he wanted. It was why he had the school, after all.

"Lepidolite," Lilith curtsied, as best she could with her tiny, form-fitting skirt. "I realize that this may not be as thorough a pitch as I might offer in other situations, sir, but....this is something of a special circumstance for me." She looked over at Alkmene, and inhaled, tensely.
"...Alkmene is my older brother. So this is...quite personal to me, but I believe that he can be incredibly helpful to our cause!" She straightened. This couldn't all be sentiment, she was sure--the Negaverse wasn't run on kittens and rainbows and hugs. "Malachi--Alkmene--has always been clever and adaptable, and I suspect he would make a fine officer, particularly if we take advantage of Infiltration's resources to set him up properly."When Lilith was done speaking, Alkmene himself stepped forward, straightening his back and looking the General-King in the eyes.
Which was a bit of a challenge, because Lepidolite was huge. In every way possible. Alkmene had to pinch himself briefly to distract himself from going down a very unhelpful, if entertaining, path of speculation, which he disguised as adjusting the cuff of his uniform.
"If I may, sir, I suspect my magic will also be quite useful--perhaps moreso to the Negaverse than it is to me as I am. I'm the Senshi of Envy, and my magic--it steals others' weapons and spells, in the way that envy compels you to take and destroy what others have that you don't. I suspect that being able to shut down Senshi spells and Knight magic will make me quite a useful battlefield asset."

Lepidolite watched Lilith with an almost amused smile, though his eyebrow was raised in something that was edging closer to an emotion that...might not be good to be around. “Lilith. I will humor you this time, he seems well spoken, and I do appreciate that in a recruit, but the next time you come to me asking for a corruption, I would appreciate a reason why. I know that Axinite and Hessonite are always happy to stick their hands into anyone’s chest.” His tone was mildly reproachful, but his hand moved with surprising speed, sinking itself deep into Alkmene’s chest with clear skill, and a gentle finesse. He was watching Lilith still, funneling chaos into the senshi’s starseed. “You do know better, I corrupted you after learning your skill set. I appreciate the new recruit, and I’m glad that he was willing, very good work on that.” Perhaps this was the reason that people rarely came to him to perform a corruption. Oh well. Lepidolite’s eyes finally slid to the newly corrupted senshi, releasing his hold on the starseed and withdrawing his hand. “I am sure that you will become a useful asset, Alkmene. Welcome to the right side. A very good choice was made today.”

Lilith's heart was in her throat. What if Lepidolite decided Malachi wasn't good enough, and she lost her brother anyway? That thought sat ill with her, and she thought of her grand plan to bring Keiko over, and decided very firmly that she would not let that one be so obviously ruled by sentiment. She would be much more careful, plan and plot and provide, and by the time she brought Keiko to Lepidolite, she would ensure that she had a well-considered list of why Keiko deserved to be in the Negaverse.
"Of course, sir. I won't disappoint you again," she promised, and then she watched as his hand sunk into Malachi's chest. It had to hurt, she knew; she knew how much corruption had hurt for her. But to his credit, he didn't scream or struggle or panic.
"I have my eyes on another Senshi," she admitted, "but before I ask you to bring her over, I'll be certain to fully evaluate her usefulness to the Negaverse. I appreciate you huimoring me, sir--this was more rushed than I would have liked."
And there, before her, Alkmene was remade, and Lilith prayed that some part of her brother remained. This was it. What he'd wanted since the moment he'd realized it was something he could want, actualized in front of him by his sister's reckless action. If he hadn't powered up to stop their father--if she hadn't powered up to save him--would they even be here?
Almost certainly not, he thought, but things had worked out for the best.
Lepidolite's objections were noted, and Alkmene swore to himself that he would make himself useful; that he would validate the General-King's choice.
Also, he couldn't help but notice, as the hand went into his chest, that Lepidolite's hands were truly massive. Just like the rest of him.
He could only focus on ridiculous thoughts like that for so long, though; the pain hit very quickly, as Chaos pumped into his starseed, and he grit his teeth to keep from crying out. Lepidolite already wasn't sure he was a worthy recruit; he wasn't going to make himself seem less worthy by displaying blatant weakness. So he held it in, as black bled across his uniform and he was changed.

By the time Lepidolite was done with him, he looked almost like a completely different Senshi; gone was the button-up and slacks, replaced by a tiny skirt, heels, and fishnets.
Alkmene took his first breath, when Lepidolite removed his hand from his chest, and realized that he did not clearly remember how he got here. There were bits and pieces, fragments--the certainty that he'd wanted this, and that the woman who moved to gently support him was his little sister--but anything else about Alkmene was a total blank, except for the name.
Wonderful. He hoped he hadn't known anything too important.
"I....Thank you," he said, a little shakily, reaching up to press a hand to his chest. There was a hole there, now, like Lilith's, a mark of his new service to the Negaverse.
Good.
