Virtues:

Alert – Perhaps due in part to her upbringing, or perhaps due to the nature of her job, Celeste is an attentive individual. She is naturally observant, interested in the goings on around her insofar as much as they relate to or affect her. Celeste is wired to be watchful. She's not the type to miss something or be caught unawares, with the result that she tends to be prepared for any outcome. She's sharp and perceptive, able to pick up on the minor ticks most people tend to think they're able to keep hidden. Celeste doesn't always bringing attention to these things, but it aids her in making determinations about people. She's able to quickly assess any given situation, as well as her surroundings and the individuals who happen to be there.

Fearless – To say that Celeste is entirely without fear would be an exaggeration. She doesn't know anyone who doesn't have at least one thing they fear. The difference between Celeste and more fearful people is that she didn't allow her fears to get the best of her. She keeps them buried deep down and hidden, with the result that she can respond with guts and bravery. She isn't the type to back down when something seems too hard. In fact, the more difficult a situation is, the more it seems that Celeste excels. Celeste is unafraid of making mistakes in the process. After all, it's those mistakes that truly help one learn.

Efficient – Due in part to her observational skills, Celeste is also quite efficient. Though she may not be the most skilled at her job, she is at least adequate and makes an effort to get things done both quickly and to the best of her abilities without overextending herself. Celeste is practical and economical, decisive and productive. She isn't the sort to waste time. Celeste is far from lazy, and though she may not conduct herself or her business with any notable passion (indeed, she remains somewhat lacking in that), she is at least competence, and her actions show it.

Flaws:

Aloof – Often it might seem as if Celeste just doesn't care about people. This would not be an entirely inaccurate assessment. That isn't to say she cares more about herself than she does others. She's not selfish. She simply lacks the emotional capacity to care about much of anything, with the result that she comes off as distant an uninterested. She is observant to a degree. When it comes to the more private details of a person's life, she quickly finds herself growing bored. Celeste isn't the type to go out of her way to form attachments with people. Her preference is to remain on her own. Celeste is independent to a fault and has lost quite a few friends due to her apparent disinterest.

Curt – Celeste doesn't often go out of her way for people. Instead, she is only as polite as she needs to be. Perhaps the one complaint her supervisors have concerning her performance at work is that she's lacking in warmth. She responds to people in a terse, abrupt manner that seems quite off-putting. Even in those instances in which she might care about someone, it's in her nature respond concisely instead of with any real feeling. She prefers to be succinct. Celeste isn't the type for small talk or long-winded explanations. She gets straight to the point, with the result that she often seems quite brusque and uncaring.

Volatile – Though she frequently appears quite calm and unruffled on the outside, Celeste has quite the temper. Her emotions are often erratic, which is part of the reason she puts so much effort in keeping them to herself. When she explodes, the results can be disastrous. She keeps her emotions so tightly bottled up inside of her that it may seem she doesn't have any, with the results that many people are caught unprepared when she finally snaps and releases all the stress and distaste she keeps so rigidly contained.

Negaverse
August de Rais // Captain Bloodstone -- Celeste's friend since college. If she cared to assign significant importance to anyone, she would label him her best friend. They get together frequently to drink and complain about work. August was the one who drew her into the Negaverse, tempting her with power. So far, Celeste is somewhat unimpressed by her allies, but not disappointed in the Negaverse as a whole. It certainly has potential. She reports to Bloodstone as her superior, but likes to think of them as equals (and she likes to think that Bloodstone shares that view).

Jonah Sinclair // Captain Roselite -- August's "personal assistant." Except August doesn't need a personal assistant, so Celeste calls him the houseboy. Jonah is quiet and meek and decent at following direction, though he will sometimes challenge Celeste in his own timid way. Recently, August brought him into the Negaverse. Celeste doesn't care to assume responsibility for such a pathetic agent, but she definitely takes advantage of his presence and dumps most of her paperwork on him.

Justice Meyler // General-King Axinite -- The General King who helped corrupt Celeste. Overall, he seems like a pleasant man, but Celeste can't decide if that's to the Negaverse's benefit or not. His kind demeanor could be viewed as a weakness. Fortunately, he has considerable power. Only time will tell if he has the will to use it.

Charlotte "Charlie" Durand // Constantinople, Page of Chronos -- Celeste's younger sister. They might look somewhat similar, but they couldn't be more different. Due to the large age gap, they were never particularly close. Celeste tolerates Charlie with a sort of grudging fondness. She does not know that Charlie is a Page.

Dark Mirror Court

Civilians

Golden Vial - A vial, roughly the size of a finger, filled with slow moving golden liquid. The vial will always be in an unmarked pouch of any color or fabric and can be found discarded or hidden on Homeworlds or Wonders, within the depths of Mirrorspace, or within the Dark Kingdom.
To use this item, you must uncork the top and drink the full dose at once. Splitting the dose will yield no effects. The golden liquid tastes sweet, but has no identifiable flavor. Once emptied, the vial will heat up and the glass will appear covered with a dozen cosmetic golden hairline fracture; the vial is not damaged in this process. Drinking this liquid guarantees that you will have some memory from your most recent past life, regardless of your affiliation or faction. Even civilian characters will have a short memory of their past life. Only one memory may be recovered clearly, but that night you may also have vague dreams of up to three other partial memories. Mauvians can also use this but should not have memories on Mau; youma can use this item but the memories they receive should be them as a human in their most recent life. The vial can be kept as a memento.
