TOMES:
A Handy Tome
Magical Incantation: Loriantharla Category: Battle and Non-Battle Tome Type: Neutral Description:Created by/for reirelight.
This tome teaches one how to concentrate magic into the shape of hands that can do simple tasks for it's owner. It teaches one how to cast it and then maintain the spell without having to concentrate on the hands to maintain the spell.
Battle: The hands can be summoned and used to distract an enemy; the hands cannot deal attacks, they are only able to distract. -10% to one foe's To Hit Die for 3 rounds. Can only be used once per battle.
Chapter 1 covers basic control and the summoned hands can only do the most mundane of tasks: fetching and holding things. They can only carry about 5 lb's worth. The hands will only last for 1 hour before the magic runs out and they vanish. Chapter 2 teaches how to strengthen the hands and impart more finesse. The hands are getting more capable, you are able to get some slightly more skillful tasks out of them like cleaning(though nothing breakable), simple stitches for mending, and they can carry up to 15 lb's worth. The hands only last for 3 hours. Chapter 3 expands upon earlier knowledge. The summoned hands can be trusted to not break anything delicate when cleaning, they can do some cooking skills (like that evil tossing of food in pan and catching it.. they can do this), and they can carry up to 50 lb's now. They last for 6 hours.
Ultimately, Suluksati is a fighter, and an fierce one at that. She lives by her teeth, claws, and magic. There was a time when she tried to avoid conflict and death, but she has since become too powerful and given up on such fantasies entirely.
Although typically she has to be incited to fight and would rather leave than get into a nasty drawn-out encounter, she has become jaded and her threshold for violence has thus been lowered. Where she would let a dragon hunter off with a warning before, now she will lay into them and sometimes chase them. In a fight, despite her seemingly polite and honorable demeanor, she's surprisingly nasty, quick, and dirty. She strikes fast and ferociously and is willing to fling herself bodily into a fight without regard to herself or anybody else. She believes in the premise that something ended quickly is something ended well.
If her opponent runs, she usually lets them go. But lately she has been too wild, losing her better self in the heat of battle and going berserk. She dreads this: She may be ferocious, but she values her ability to control herself. To lose control is to lose what makes her, her. However, at the same time, she sees it as bringing her close to the creatures she reveres, and is resigned to doing so, even if she feels she must restrain herself, especially where the young are concerned.
Suluksati's stubborness is the stuff of legends. If she has something she is protecting, she will fight on even if outmatched, outnumbered, and outpowered. She considers herself to be a defender of dragons, protecting them from the people that seek to hunt and harm them. This often means charging into battle to protect her beloved vicious carnivores. Unfortunately, the dragons she loves so much do not appreciate this.
While she won't back down, she is smart enough to know that if she dies, then there would be no real point to her efforts. She has, on occasion, retreated and parleyed, usually when she is alone, outmatched, and with no dragon or young, small thing to protect.
Though she originates from a completely Aedaun clan of philosophers, Suluksati is surprisingly egalitarian. Although wary of Magescans (and even to an extent of other khehora), she is willing to speak with them. Over time however, as she has pursued her quest, she has become harsh towards magescians and khehora alike. Though she believes that equality is possible and is a virtue, she will be the first to admit that she has her prejudices: Magescans are egg stealers and dragon hunters first, and they are treated as such unless they act reasonably.
Other Khehorans are treated with open, if wary, wings. She feels that their kind needs to band together against the perceived threat of bonding. They are all brothers and sisters to dragons, bound by this kinship to each other as well. Despite differences of opinion and her own subtle prejudices based on clan, Suluksati is of the firm belief that this unity is the most important thing of all, transcending all petty grievances and magic.
As an extension of this, Suluksati believes in the importance of family, both blood related and extended. She wishes to have a family of her own someday, though she knows that finding a mate that can tolerate her attitude and interests is unlikely. Having no Orakoi of her own, she has a soft spot for the young and noncombatants of all species, and she will go out of her way to see them unharmed.
Suluksati is rigid, stoic, and driven and she cannot be shaken from her quest. She can be difficult to deal with and her quest to defend dragons sets her apart from much of her world. She sees herself as a loner, and is aware that her quest is hopeless – not even the dragons want her around.
It is not surprising, then, that she is sometimes depressed. It is never enough, though, to stop her, and it manifests less as a deep despair and more a sense of inevitability. She believes that she herself can do little, less than a drop in the ocean, but one day her ideas will catch on, and make way for the future she wants – one of harmony between dragons and the other races they share the world with. She dreams of a day when she can find others who agree with her aims and when she can, maybe, start a clan of her own dedicated to the management and protection of dragons. She doesn't see it happening, though: She is a practical pessimist, and she knows that what she does is basically hopeless. But if she is delusional enough to think the way she does, maybe someone else is too.
She has been described as a fantatic, and willingly admits that she is so. She is still khehora, and is not heartless. She is as empathic and sensitive as any other khehora, even if she is a little awkward due to her time alone in the wilds, and she longs for the company of others.
But who will talk to a half-mad khehorian with a bounty on her head?
Suluksati was born to a tribe of warrior-philosophers in the rocky parts of Serenia's forests. She and her clutchmate, Mahrani, were very close and – because the tribe was prosperous – had an easy life.
She started out as a normal young alikhora – learning how to use her magic, playing with her sister, learning how to hunt; everything a normal, well-developed young khehora should do. She looked forward to the dragon hunts and the ritual argument that would mark her way into adulthood.
She began to realize that she was not like the others when she and her sister witnessed her first large mass dragon hunt. Her sister was delighted, of course, and could not wait to be an adult herself. But Suluksati was troubled: seeing such magnificent creatures slaughtered en-masse without respect or mercy was very upsetting.
She had hoped the the troubling thoughts would go away, but they only grew stronger as, on her first hunt with her sister, they killed two dragons – clearly mates who had been enjoying a moment on a rock.
The frustration she felt festered until, at her ritual argument – her rite of passage into adulthood – she asked her elders why dragons were hunted by khehora, and why they were hunted at all. Her argument was well thought-out and well presented, but dismissed by her elders. It was traditional, they said, and so dragons were hunted.
She left her rite feeling frustrated and angry, and a few days later made the decision to leave. Her love for her sister made her hesitate, but they fought and her sister said many harsh things, and with that there was nothing left to hold her back. She flew off to her destiny.
The loneliness of her quest ate at her. She longed for companionship, but the only people she found were her enemies, to be driven away from their prey. Her ideals began to warp, bit by bit, as she was frequently attacked – and had to put down – the very creatures she swore to attack.
She learned more about the Magescans, meeting an Orderite child by the name of Sueno, and realized that they weren't all the bloodthirsty evil dragon-hunters and nest-raiders she had thought they were. Some simply minded their own business. Conversely, it soon became clear that the dragons were not nice creatures, even attacking their own. After protecting a Ysali dragon and its familiar from bullying Ayrala dragons, she realized that dragons themselves were at fault too. They were hunted as much for their orbs as for their cruelty. Her ideals did not, however shatter. She still believed in her cause, and in the possibility of it happening, however slim.
In an attempt to protect the Ysali dragons of Soldul from the Diabi dragons empowered by the blood moon, she travelled to the dark contident. This was ill advised. Her Aedaun magic was weakened and made her a beacon to anything that wished the light to go out. She met Toki, a Khehora Gaili shaman, and Myrddin, a young Oblivionite, who assisted her and provided some company.
Making it off of Soldul, she soon found herself sidetracked from her quest by an ancient and terrible place – a crypt, with treasure within. There, she met a treasure hunter, the Gaili Khehora Samael and his Nekkhora Ayrala son, Carrion. Together, they purged the darkness and came away richer. She, perhaps, moreso than they, for they left friends. After so long alone, a friend, let alone two, was worth more than the Firani tears or the bottled dream she had come away with.
They met again in Serenia, where she protected a young oblivionite boy from ambush by Aedaun dragons. Samael and a young orderite with a bonded Alikhora Aiskala assisted, and they killed the dragons. Suluksati came away from that encounter with a turbulent heart. She had killed those dragons, even though they had initially been reasonable. She wondered what she was really fighting for, if not them, or if she was – as they had claimed – a hypocrite. At the same time, though, she had reinforced her friendship with Samael (now a Khehorian) and even gotten permission to visit him in Eowyn.
She needed to think, so she traveled to Ayr. There she ran into a young Ysali dragon – the same one from before – and defended them from wave upon wave of Ayrala dragons. The Ysali , J'kanaran of the Eastern Forest Pack on Serenia, was smart enough to not attack the powerful Khehora. Instead, the dragon made plans to use Suluksati for power, intending to find the khehora when needed in order to do her dirty work.
The exchange of names, the proper conversation with a dragon, and a prior association with a peisio dragon hatchling started to make Suluksati really think about the dragons as not merely powerful creatures to protect, but as people. Her resolve, which had wavered, grew.
She was in Eowyn when another resolve struck her. In the wake of a Kiandri ambush and tired of killing and killing and KILLING dragons, Suluksati began to think of her friend Samael and his kin. Wasn't he in Eowyn? She began to seek him out, but failed to find him, for his home was deep in the mountains.
Her travels resumed, and she found herself back on Serenia, called back by the familiar light of her homeland. There she met the Oblivionite, Raemos Medrol, again and fought against his father in a titanic duel that Raemos had to use his magic to break up. She met the boy again soon after, and they had a lively philosophic discussion, the likes of which she had not had since she had left her clan. She found that she had missed such conversation.
She followed him and his family to Ayr for the meteor shower, enjoying the light display but leaving soon afterwards to patrol the windy mountains. There, she met Elder Toki again who was now a khehorian as well. He gave her advice and support and friendship, and also taught her the art of taming creatures before leaving her in better spirits than before.
She returned to Eowyn to patrol and seek out Samael again, finding instead a hunting party after dragons. She harassed them and soon crossed a line that she hadn't thought she would cross: she killed some of their members, intentionally and without remorse. Soon, they hunted her, but another hunter found her first: a strange stone creature chased her out of the mountains, to the outskirts of Tukyere, before abandoning the chase.
After some thought, she returned to the mountains to hassle the hunting group, finding, however, that they were leaving. As she, satisfied, began exploring the mountains, she came across another stone creature and, incidentally, the elusive Samael. After destroying the stone monster, she met his young Orakoi and travelled with him to his clan, where she became quickly embroiled in issues between him and his mate, Oblivion.
Once that was resolved, she set out to find out what the stone creatures had been and how to destroy them. She soon learned that they were weapons built by Aevah Avi to be used against the Oblivionites in their great war, turned now against all the people of Magesc. Enraged and offended by their unnatural existence, Suluksati set out to destroy them at their lair, the Maralan penninsula.
She met with limited success, managing to tear the force field barrier around the facility before being driven off. She set off to Serenia to tell this information to their creator so that she could set things right, to limited success. Before she could return to take another crack at the Maralan headquarters, she became involved in protecting the healing lakes from being defiled, helping to organize the dragons of the region against the threat to their lakes.
Afterwards, though, she decided that it was time to gain more power. She set out to perform the Khehorian ritual, traveling to the lair of the mighty and vicious Rhazes to set forth on the ritual.
Along the way, she met with Raemos Medrol again, older now and stronger. Disappointed in his clearly dragon-hunting ways, Suluksati fought him and seriously injured him before leaving.
Finally, though, she was ready to perform the ritual. It was an uneventful affair – she simply had to absorb the power of the orbs – but it made her think very hard about what she was and what she wanted to be, and she left feeling more motivated than ever to be that person.
The Defender of Dragons.
Suluksati found herself wandering yet again, her wings taking her all over Magesc, but most frequently to Serenia, where she found herself protecting many a young Orderite on their first (intentional or otherwise) dragon hunt. Foolishness, she felt, was a way to change them, and protecting them was a way to help them see things her way.
Or so she thought...

Thoughts on the Great Engagement:
The great war? Suluksati wants no part of it. It isn't her fight. The only aspect of it she cares about are the Mara, and them only because they have spilled over and are effecting all the other races.
Thoughts on Magescans and Khehora:
Suluksati prefers her own kind, obviously, but has since learned that Magescans are not the horrible people she thought they were. They are as varied as her own people, though maybe more civilized.
She does feel that it is a betrayal of their motives to steal and bond to eggs, and especially so for the Dovaa. The blood of dragons binds them as kin, does it not? So why do they enslave the Khehora and kill dragons with the others?
She does not understand their motives.
Thoughts on the Dragons:
Suluksati believes that Dragons and Kein are kin. She doesn't believe that dragons should be hunted, but treated with respect as any other living being. They are cousins and friends, not soul factories.
Still, if one attacks, she will defend herself – dying to a dragons' claws is still dying, and she doesn't intend to do that. She acquires most of her dragon souls through self defense and a desire not to waste. It still subtly feels wrong to her, though.
Home: Suluksati doesn't have a set home. Her duty is in the field protecting the great carnivores that she loves. She lives on the wing, traveling often to places she feels needs her assistance and also escaping those very same carnivores that she loves. As such, she has very few possessions and very few steady friends.
Samael (Gaili Khehorian): Samael is one of the few people she can call friend, and as such she is grateful for his company. He is also a magically and physically powerful ally. She would like to get to know him better, but she expects only friendship, especially since he has Orakoi and a mate to deal with, even if that relationship is troubled.
Carrion (Ayrala Nekkhova): Carrion is Samael's son. Suluksati met him when she and Samael explored the Crypt during the Blood Moon. She hasn't really talked to him since, though...
Sueno (Orderite Rancher): When Suluksati met her, the young Orderite was trying to pet a Notbjaovin. Suluksati hopes she's grown up and smartened up since then, and also hopes that, at the same time, she has retained the good-natured innocence that had her invite a khehora to dinner...
Avani (Orderite Farmer): Suluksati was honored by the Orderite's offer to stay on her land and intrigued by her wisdom, maturity, and kindness. To her, Avani is the ideal for a magescan – peaceful and in harmony with the land.
Toki (Kiandri Khehora Shaman): Elder Toki is Suluksati's friend and, she feels, sometime mentor. He gives her deep advice and provides comfort and confidence where it is lacking. A powerful friend to have, Suluksati hopes to visit him some day on Eowyn...
Criani (Peisio Khehora): Criani is a young khehora who provided valuable assistance during the Mara attack on Serenia. Suluksati is encouraged by her attitude and hopeful that she might have finally found someone to share her views, values, and quest... perhaps?
Esmeralda Voporian (Peisio Dovaa Dragon Researcher): A kindred spirit among the dovaa? Suluksati never expected there to be someone who chose to study dragons and not kill them. She is delighted to support them to that end. She's met her friend at other times, and is inspired by her lack of despair...
Neutral:
Maeron Aredan (Orderite Warrior): A young orderite who helped defeat the wing of Aedaun. Other than that, Suluksati has forgotten him.
Darke Frost (Bonded Aiskala Alikhova): Maeron's bonded. Seemed like a decent sort of person, but bonded. Other than that, Suluksati has forgotten him.
Raemos Medrol (Oblivionite Mage): A young oblivionite who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was attacked by Aedaun dragons. Though a child of Soudana has no place in the land of light, Suluksati also could not let an innocent life be ended so. She protected him, despite the dragon's willingness to parley. Though he was intelligent and willing to discuss philosophy, a later meeting showed that he had grown up to be a dragon hunter, or at the very least a warrior. They fought, and she nearly killed him. Though saddened by his maturation away from the darling child she knew, she feels no remorse for nearly striking him down.
Vazarri (Diabi Khehora Mutant): The first born hatchling of Oblivion and Samael, Vazarri seems to have taken an instant dislike to Suluksati, despite the Alikhora's attempts to develop a friendship while babysitting them. Suluksati's only idea as to why this is is her magic, but she is not sure why the young female dislikes her so...
Kekeovonnai (Gaili Khehora): The second born hatchling of Oblivion and Samael, Suluksati finds the young Gaili adorable and enjoys his active inquisitiveness. He has grown up now, but he is still a sweet, and somewhat adorable, youngster...
Honoka (Gaili Khehora): Samael and Oblivion's third child who she unknowingly met while escorting Avani out of harms way during the Mara invasion. Very cute.
Myrddin (Oblivionite Apprentice):
Xenosa Yran (Orderite Spy):
Negative:
Grrel (Kiandri Khehora): A Kiandri Khehova who was very upset at Suluksati for ruining her ambush when they first met. They met again and were allied against Oblivion for lying about the fate of the third egg he had taken, but Sulu can see that Grrel is making eyes at Samael. As a result, relations between them are unstable and somewhat... sparky... to say the least.
Oblivion (Diabi Alikhora): Aside from his clan and her own jealousy, Suluksati dislikes this first mate of Samael's because of his lies and arrogance.
Other:
J'kanaran (Ysali Dragon) NPC: J'kana for short, this Ysali dragon, with her Silx familiar, does not have a high rank in her pack. With the discovery of a powerful and delusional Aedaun Khehova who will go out of her way to protect her, J'kana hopes to change this.
Mahrani (Aedaun Alikhora) NPC: Suluksati's sister, they used to be close and were often called the twins because of that, and also because of the inverted nature of their markings (Maha is white on green instead of green on white). She has not seen her in many years, though, and they did not part on good terms...
Holy Light - Create a holy barrier of light energy that heals you or anyone of your choosing for 25 LP for 2 turns. Usable 3 times per encounter and when INT > 20. Costs 15 Energy.
Gains Ability Light Shell - Create a magical barrier around yourself, energizing you for 20 Energy instantly. If the time of the RP is morning or the fight is taking place in Serenia, it energizes for 30. Can only be used 1 time per encounter.
Blinding Light - Blind your enemies for 2 turns, lowering their accuracy by 20 points. (ie: Apprentice Accuracy is 1-50 miss, 51-100 hit. They now have a miss anywhere from 1-70, and a hit from 71-100, etc.) Usable 1 Time Per Encounter. Costs 20 Energy.
Ball of Light - Turn yourself into a ball of light and move quickly through the air. Usable across bodies of water. This can only be used out of combat and during the day. When nightfall hits, you instantly turn back to your normal self.
Eternal Light, which lasts for 5 turns, allows the Holy Radiance buff to activate; Holy Radiance is a buff that increases light damage and healing done by an extra 25 points (added to your final damage/healing count). This buff is always active if the setting in which the battle is held is on Serenia, the Orderite's homeland or if the time is 'day' on other continents. Unusable on Soudul soil unless Eternal Light is active.
Attacks:
Slam [Unarmed Attack] - 5 ENG DMG per ATK point: 5 Suluksati slams into an opponent, usually from a dive or with her tail or side
Slash [Armed Attack] - 10 ENG DMG per ATK Point: 10 Suluksati slashes at an enemy with her claws and teeth
Rake [Power Attack] - 15 ENG DMG per ATK Point: 15 Suluksati uses her powerful hind legs to claw at an opponent, usually while grabbing with her foreclaws. She tries to get at the vitals this way.
Shining Barrage [Master Attack] - 50 ENG DMG= 20 per ATK Point + 5 per INT point Suluksati draws out the damaging aspects of light magic and attacks in a holy, shining frenzy. Her claws deal holy damage as well as being, well, claws.
Defense
Wing Shield [Basic Defense] DMG warded per DEF Point: 5
Suluksati attempts to use her wings to block incoming attacks
Dodge [Moderate Defense] DMG warded per DEF Point: 10
Sulusati uses her agility to try to dodge or deflect an incoming hit
Graceful Dodge [Advanced Defense] DMG warded per DEF Point: 15
Suluksati takes to the air to utilize her superior agility when airborne. She dodges easily in midair, but can also use this on the ground by extending a jump with her wings
A Blur in the Air [Master Defense] DMG warded per DEF Point: 20
Using a mixture of Aerial dodges and cunning deflections, Suluksati dodges and weaves her way around attacks
Offensive Magic
Magic Flash [Initiate Magic] - 10 ENG DMG: 5 per INT pt
Suluksati uses her magic to spit out small, floating balls of bright light that explode into holy energy, but can also be used to light the way
Light Beam [Journeyman Magic] - 15 ENG DMG: 10 per INT pt
Suluksati sends a potent beam of magical light from her mouth, which splashes into shimmering sparks upon striking an object. Though strong and fast, it is dodgable.
Light Ball [Advanced Magic] - 20 ENG DMG: 10 per INTpt + 2 per ATK pt
Suluksati gathers her magical energy into her mouth, forming it into a ball of light, looking like a brilliant star or some such thing. She then fires this orb at an enemy. Though slower than the light beam, she has some control over its trajectory, and it can curve slightly to hit a moving enemy
Purge [Master Magic] - 50 ENG DMG: 20 per INTpt + 5 per ATK pt
On touch, Suluksati can force her magic into a body. This requires a lot of magic, and can be used for healing purposes. However, with offensive intent, it can be nasty as light energy ravages through their system. She can only control it while she is touching them, and the effect ends a short while after she is out of physical contact.
Suluksati's magic shimmers around her, boosting the defensive properties of her scales and healing some of the more minor wounds
Small Ward [Journeyman Magical Defense] DMG warded: 10pt/INT
Suluksati creates a shield of light. This can be near her, another, or anywhere in her range of vision. Its a simmering, membranous shield of liquid light.
Large Ward [Advanced Magical Defense] DMG warded: 15 per INTpt + 2 per DEF pt
Suluksati can create a large light shield that she can place anywhere. Alternatively, she can wrap herself or another in a soothing force-field of light that helps to heal injuries as well as protect against incoming attacks
Flicker [Master Magical Defense] DMG: 15 per INT pt + 10 per DEF pt
Suluksati can flicker into form composed of flowing nebulous light, allowing some measure of damage to simply pass right through her.
Abilities:
- Shimmering: Suluksati's magic activates unconciously, healing her if she is injured and producing a light effect close to her body. - Light blast: Suluksati can create a charged beam of holy light and fire it from her mouth to inflict a great deal of damage. - Heal: Aside from her unconscious healing ability, Suluksati can also deliberately heal herself or others - Shield of Light: Suluksati's main defensive strength is her shields. She can summon an iridescent shield of holy light, either around herself or in a bubble-like dome in another area. - Imbued Claws: Suluksati can do more than just blast with magic: she can suffuse her claws with holy light, allowing them to do far more damage
Suluksati carries a rough sort of pouch with her, made from a belt-like brightly colored cloth she wears at her waist. In it, she carries dragon orbs, any posessions she might have, and potions and healing items.
She is very willing to give away her dragon orbs to others, indeed, she is happy to offer. If it means that fewer dragons must perish to feed the Magescians need for power, she is happy to help.

[] Suluksati is open for Dragonblocking drama (where she participates in dragon hunts and, rp-wise, tries to stop you), battles, and various other nonsense. Let me know and I will DEFINITELY say yes XD
[] In an attempt to cut down on the 'senseless slaughter of dragons' Suluksati is willing to give away her dragon orbs. Just ask, and rp it out, and it will be done.
[] She is also plotted with Samael, and one day they will have babies. Hopefully.
Taking the Ysali's soul felt like a conflict of interest, almost. Souls were useful, yes, but her precious dragons had to die to provide them. She continued her walk, thinking about that poor little Ysali dragon that hadn't been able to survive. But then again, she had to think about it rationally. She couldn't save every dragon- she'd had to kill dragons before for the sake of other dragons. And she had taken their souls. In the end, the rest of the Ysali group had lived to see another day dawn in their forest. The death of one saved many. That made sense. And, though she took no payment for her services, the dragon soul was sort of payment, wasn't it? As long as she considered it as such, then she didn't have to feel so terribly guilty as she slipped it into her pack. No, she didn't have to feel bad at all, if it was a gift to her heroism, intended or not. Feeling surprisingly good about herself, Suluksati continued her stroll through the forests of Serenia.
The morning dawned bright and clear, and with the sun's rays and the renewal of her magic, Suluksati felt her spirit redoubled. She awoke more determined than ever before to be what she had chosen to be. It was all right that the Ayrala had died- after all, she was the protector of all dragons, great and small, even from themselves. The loss of her precious posessions? That was fine too. It just meant that she had less to carry as she moved from place to place. Though it broke her heart to leave them, she woke with a conviction that it was best to do so. Not that she would forgive the little Silx. She ate the one she had caught viciously, crunching its small bones. No, she decided, she hated the fuzzy little things. She packed away her canvas 'bed' into her carrysack and stretched her healing wings. It was time to move on. She turned towards Ayr and lifted off towards it's winds and spires.
Suluksati was certain of one thing- Crypts were terrifying. If they were the depths she had to go in order to drive out dark dangers and/or protect her beloved dragons, then that was what she would do and where she would go, and she would go as far as necessary. But living dead? Creepy silent halls of statues and death? Urgh. No.
At least she had made a friend, or something close to one- she hoped. Samael seemed like a nice, reasonable sort. Unlike so many of her own kind she had met on her never-ending hopeless quest.
Then again, she had met him and worked towards a common goal that had nothing to do with dragons. Perhaps this was why he didn't want to kill her/harm her outright: she hadn't blocked him from his savage hunting.
She couldn't believe that Samael was a cruel person, though. Not with the little Keindred under his wing. How could any parent be cruel? Any parent she knew, anyway? She... supposed that many were. Not to their children, but to the great beasts that surrounded them.
She hoped Samael wasn't like that. She hoped she had found a friend. She hoped, so very much.
Aside, Firani tears were beautiful and she wondered what she would do with them. Collect them, for now, and gaze upon their beauty, she supposed.
