History:
The Harper family stems from a long line of solicitors and attorneys. It can be no wonder, then, where the youngest Harper son got his way with words. However, much to the chagrin of his respectable family, Cedric had no interest in the dry courts of law. Instead, from a young age, he was fascinated with the old tales. From the Wolves and Wardens of old to exotic myths from afar, he listened raptly to any tellers of tales he could find and delved into old and dusty texts to learn as much about the creative world as possible. When he grew old enough, he forsook his family’s path and instead moved to Palisade to begin his career as first an actor, then a playwright – and he has not done half bad, at that.
About:
Although Cedric Harper has learned how to temper his emotions when the need truly calls, he is not the least bit shy about expressing himself – often in the most flamboyant manner possible. Melodramatic, yet good-humored; poetic, yet shockingly straightforward, he is a very difficult man to predict. When working, for instance, he has been known to change his mind at the last possible second due to some whim or another. He claims that his muse is to blame. Some that know him say that Harper simply enjoys keeping people off-balance. Either way, it takes a certain kind of person to work with him. History:
In a show of good fortune, Harper stumbled upon this little bird when he decided to produce his first play. Or rather, Cui invited himself inside the man's flat one night, and Harper awoke to the sight of a little ball of feathers nestled in the blankets at the crook of his arm. The play was a roaring success, and the bird never saw fit to leave.
About:
Cuileann is a friendly bird. He is not shy of strangers and he likes to keep Harper company. Often, he can be found singing away as his human writes or flitting about the stage as preparations are being made for the next production.
